Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 21/03/2012 Occasionally at BUFOG we receive details of things that don’t really involve sightings of actual aerial objects, but are just as mysterious. This report covers details of an unexplained yellow coloured beam of light that crossed the sky one early morning in 1987. Incident Details Back in 1987 Ruggerio (name changed for privacy reasons) worked as a post man in the area of Rowley Regis. One morning in either January or February he was on his way to work at 4.45am. He was on his bicycle so was pleased that it was a pleasant clear morning. He rode past the Rowley Regis railway station and began cycling down Avenue Road. He happened looked up into the star-filled sky to try and locate the stars that make up Orion. Suddenly without warning a beam of sharply defined yellow light appeared in the sky. It covered his entire view of the sky and went across the road at a diagonal angle. The beam appeared to be at a height of about 200-300 yards and was completely parallel to the ground. It was not pencil thin like a laser, nor was it large in diameter like the beam of a search light. Ruggerio estimates it was about 1/3 the diameter of a search light beam but this is hard to judge. Aerial map of the incident location, with the beam drawn on top: 📷 After cycling past the junction of Cardale Street, he stopped at the edge of the road and continued to stare up at the beam. He blinked his eyes several times just to make sure it was actually present. Looking to his right he notice that the beam seemed to terminate in a blip of light to the North, although this could have been an optical illusion. There was no sound whatsoever and the beam did not move at all. Photograph of Avenue Road in the location where the witness stopped: 📷 After about 15 seconds, Ruggerio had the spontaneous thought that the beam was about to vanish. At that precice moment it did! It was almost as if he had been made aware of its departure. There was nothing else he could do other than continue his route to work.  When he got there he did tell one of the other postmen, but he was never asked about it again. Incident Analysis This is an absolutely bizarre experience and one which is very hard to explain. There are only a few possible mundane explanations for such a sight. The most obvious mundane explanation for the light was that it was some kind of laser beam from somewhere nearby, perhaps a night club. However if it was from somewhere permanent like this, then it would have been seen on other occasions by Ruggerio. It is unlikely night clubs would have had such lighting back in 1987, and even if they did this lighting would usually be aimed up into the sky not horizontally. If it were coming from something on the ground then you would expect the beam to be sloped downwards however it was not it was running parallel. Yellow lasers are also quite rare to begin with, and have only really become available in the last few years – they are usually green, red or blue. If we discount the idea that it was coming from a building, what are we left with? The beam seemed much too strong to have been from a portable device, so it is unlikely it was shone from a window high up in the air out of view. It also seemed far too defined and thin to be shone from a search light, and why would a search light have even been on at that time of the morning? Again the angle of the beam would have been going up into the sky not horizontal. It was clearly artificially created and not caused by strange atmospheric conditions. If it was from a helicopter then surely it would have moved not just shone for a good number of seconds then suddenly switched off. Also if it was as visible as Ruggerio claims, then the helicopter would have had to have been very close, at which point he would have heard the noise of its rotor blades, especially considering how early in the morning it was. Was the beam coming from the blip of light visible in the sky to the North of his location? Or was that just an optical illusion or the beam reflecting off something in the distance? And what are we to make of the fact that he suddenly had the thought that the beam would go, and then immediately afterwards it did? Was this just a strange coincidence or did something more unusual take place? This is a truly fascinating incident, and although we cannot state whether or not a UFO was involved, the beam of light seen was certainly unexplainable. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 10/04/2012 For reason of anonymity pseudonyms have been used for some witnesses Introduction In January 2012 BUFOG was contacted by a man named Senin (Surname provided but withheld). He wished to inform us of many UFO sightings and other unusual experiences he has had over the years. This activity seems to be on a continuous basis. Some of the incidents appear to have direct interaction elements to them, and several have photographic evidence to back them up. In recent months some of his friends have also started seeing UFOs and experiencing odd events. This report is based directly on the extensive notes Senin has sent through via a series of E-Mails. String Of Lights Incident Senin’s initial UFO sighting took place back in the summer of 1988 or 89 when he was around 13-14 years old. He was camping in trailers with his family and some family friends at a camping place close to Luka Dubrava camping place, on the Peljesac peninsula near to Dubronvnik in Croatia. Photograph of Luka Dubrava bay: 📷 It was between 10pm-midnight. The weather was clear, warm and still, and the stars were fully visible. Senin and many others at the camp site, including his parents, were out on a concrete playground. They then noticed some lights in the distance. They were around the area of two peaks about 10 km to the West. These two peaks were around 2-3 km apart. Close to one of the two peaks, a short distance above it, they saw a string of orbs of light, each one a different colour. The colours Senin remembers seeing included red, yellow and green though there could have been others. He cannot remember how many there were but he estimates between 6-10. The lights were in a straight line but did not look like they were all attached to one object, they appeared to be hooked together. Everyone present was amazed and wondered what the lights could be. There was talk amongst the adults of aliens and experimental aircraft. The lights were moving in the direction of the other peak, traversing the gap between them. The speed of movement was quite slow and it took about half an hour for them to reach the other peak. During this time the lights did not alter in distance between each other, they all retained their position in relation to one another. However when they finally neared the other peak they suddenly without warning shot back to the first peak extremely fast! It was now back at where it had been initially, and once again started to move towards the other peak. This pattern continued for between 3-4 hours. After a while the childen including Senin got bored of watching and used the playground instead, but continued to check back from time to time. The adults were transfixed by the lights for the duration. Each time the lights reached the other peak they near instantly flew back to the first one. There was no way to drive closer to the lights to see what they were as there were no roads out near their location, it was just hills. Senin is unsure if anyone filmed the incident, however not many would have had cameras back in 1989. After a while Senin and his friends went to relax at an abandoned house for a while. Here it was not possible to see the lights. But later when he walked back to his family’s trailer they were still visible in the sky. He went to sleep while others continued to watch the lights, so has no idea how they vanished. Later in the night after the lights had vanished, some locals who they were friends with went to do some night fishing. Senin knew the son of another family who they were staying with at the camp site. He was several years older than Senin so was allowed to go with them. When he returned the following morning, Senin could see that he looked pale and was shivering. This lasted the whole day. He was clearly bothered by something. Later in the evening he finally told Senin’s and his own family what had happened. He claimed that while they were out fishing off the shore, the line of lights suddenly appeared right over their boats and began descending. As they descended they rolled up into a spiral shape. In the middle of this spiral a rotating light appeared. The lights were so strong that they could see right down to the sea bed even though they were in water 50 metres deep. Some women on the boats started screaming that the holy mother Mary had come for them and began jumping into the sea. When the lights were only 20-30 metres above them, everyone heard the noise of a jet aircraft although none were seen. At this moment the lights straightened back out into a line and then shot vertically up into the sky out of sight! Senin still remembers the reaction from his friend’s mother. She told his friend not to talk about it to anyone as they would think he was crazy. He did mention it several more times to Senin, but did not talk about the incident often. When he was older, Senin thought about what he had witnessed that night. He realized that if the lights were part of an object that had occupants on board, the G forces involved with performing the manoeuvres he saw them perform would have been far too strong for a human to survive, unless the object was somehow unaffected by these forces. He doubts that even a secret experimental craft would possess such abilities, and so believes that what he saw was extraterrestrial. He also feels that the jet the fishers and his friend heard was probably military and there to intercept the UFO, although it is unlikely this will ever be confirmed either way. This is a truly fascinating sighting. If the lights had not moved in such a manner I would have perhaps suggested that they could have possibly been a stream of lit balloons launched from a celebration. Even this would have had to take into account the fact that this took place in Bosnia in the late 1980s, way before LED balloons or lanterns were available. It is very unlikely such objects are commonplace in Bosnia even today. However the movement patterns exhibited with the sudden acceleration and extreme velocity completely blow the possibility of balloons out of the water. Neither would such manoeuvres be performed by known aircraft or even a carefully orchestrated hoax. Also the distance between the peaks was far too great for this to have been an optical illusion caused by lights on a wire being lit in sequence. The repeated pattern over several hours is very interesting indeed, for what purpose would the objects have done this? Whether the incident reported by Senin’s friend actually took place or not will never really be known. He certainly appeared to have been frightened by something. However could he have fabricated the story after the fact because of what had been seen earlier in the night? This is always going to be a possibility, though Senin thinks this is unlikely. From the initial sighting it was obvious that the objects possessed advanced flight characteristics. If they had remained in the area there is no reason why the fishing boat incident could not have taken place. Perhaps it was interested in the fishing boats or the people on board them. If what he said really did take place then this proves that the lights were under intelligent control. It is unknown whether what was seen were a number of independent objects flying in formation and moving together, or whether it was a single object with numerous lights on it. The fact that the lights formed a spiral with a central rotating light suggests that they were part of a single snake-like object – an object which was not rigid but was capable of changing its shape when required. The jet aircraft aspect of the second incident is intriguing. Could it have really been a jet from a nearby military facility which the armed forces had sent up to intercept the object? There are many cases over the years where military jets have been sent to either observe or even shoot down UFOs. Could this have been such an incident? The fact that the lights immediately left the area when the jet was nearing suggests this may have been the case. An Early Sighting Senin remembers an incident that he believes happened back around 1997. It was the middle of the daytime, and he was outside doing sit ups near his old home in Mostar. He recalls seeing a shining star-like light in the sky. It remained there stationary for between 10-15 minutes. Then without warning it suddenly vanished. Back then he thought the object was a star and that he had just witnessed some kind of supernova. However now he realizes that this could well have been an early sighting. He has since witnessed many similar objects, as you will read about later in this report. Translucent Donut-Shaped UFO Sightings After the glowing light, Senin did not have any more UFO sightings until around 2006/2007. He was at his home, an apartment block in the centre of Mostar where he lives with his parents. Their apartment is on the 12th floor of the 13 floor building. On the roof is a terrace where Senin often likes to sit and relax. The terrace has a good view of the city to the South. It was the middle of a warm sunny day, so he decided to get a couple of beers and head up to the terrace. Aerial map of Mostar: 📷 While he was out there, he suddenly noticed an object in the distance up in the sky. It appeared to be about 300-400 metres away and at a height of about 100 metres. It was translucent white in colour. Initially it appeared to be spherical in shape but then it seemed to change to more of a donut shape. The object was moving slowly across the sky on a straight path. Initially Senin thought it must be a plastic bag being carried by the wind. However it was a very still day, and the object appeared to be moving under power rather than randomly drifting. It was moving on a straight and level course at a relatively slowly and constant speed. It also seemed to be changing its shape at regular intervals, and looked like it was pulsating as it moved. Senin laughed with amazement because he had not seen any UFOs in so many years and now here was one in broad daylight over the city. He watched it slowly glide to the South over a couple of minutes until it went out of sight. In early October 2011 Senin had a second sighting of a very similar, if not the same, object. It was the afternoon and he was once again on the terrace. It was a very clear day and he had a good view of the sky. He noticed numerous aero planes at varying distances. He then suddenly noticed a translucent donut-shaped object crossing the sky. Unlike the other planes, the object had no vapour trail. He turned around to pick up his drink, and when he looked back the object was nowhere to be seen. All the other aero planes were still visible as before. While these sightings are interesting, I feel there is not enough evidence that they were of something other than a white semi-clear inflatable or bag being carried on air currents. On both occasions the object was not seen to perform any clearly intelligent manoeuvres. The regular pulsating and shape shifting that was observed with the initial sighting could easily have been the object rotating in the air as it moved giving the appearance that it was changing its physical form. It was certainly far enough away to create this illusion. Even if there was no wind where Senin was, this does not mean that there were not air currents at higher altitudes. Drifting objects do tend to get caught on these currents and move on a straight course just like what was witnessed. Obviously something more unusual cannot be ruled out entirely, but I feel that these sightings probably have a mundane explanation. Orb Of Light Sightings In 2009 Senin began sitting out on the balcony of his apartment between 10-11pm. It gave him some quiet time to think about things. He started to regularly see a glowing ball of white light over the city. This appeared on a monthly basis. It sometimes simply moved on a straight course, on other occasions it would change direction. It appeared to be quite high altitude but within the atmosphere. It looked much brighter and bigger than other stars in the sky, and did not flicker at all. Senin was convinced that this was not a normal aircraft or helicopter. It did not possess any of the normal navigation lights seen such as strobes. It was also always completely silent. Due to the fact that it never flickered and sometimes changed course he was also certain that it was not a satellite. It is unclear how many times Senin saw this white orb, and whether he still sees it today. However the fact that it appeared on a regular monthly basis does tend to suggest that it had a human-made explanation. UFOs very rarely return to the same area again and again. If they did then it would be very easy to prove their existence. Was Senin mistaken? Could the object have been nothing more than a helicopter, civilian or military, performing a regular monthly flight for whatever purpose? At a distance navigation lights on helicopters can become merged, giving the appearance of a single bright orb of white/yellow light. I have seen this myself on many occasions while out driving after dark. At this distance the noise of the helicopter rotor blades may also have not be detectable. I cannot say for certain but this seems like a likely explanation for these particular sightings. Star-Like UFOs In the summer of 2010, Senin worked as a night security guard at a dilapidated industrial complex in the Buna area of Mostar. While on his shifts he had not much else to do other than stare up at the stars. Every few shifts he would notice star-like objects moving across the sky on a straight course, always to the North. Sometimes they would light up and shine really bright before dimming back down. What Senin has described sounds very much like satellites flaring up in the sunlight as they rotate. However he says that he is aware of what these look like and that these objects looked different. Aerial map of Buna: 📷 One day he decided to get a flashlight and try communicating with the objects by flashing it in sequence. This gave him something else to do so was quite fun. He began signalling to the objects by  switching the torch on and off three times then pausing for a couple of seconds. According to Senin nothing happened for a number of nights. But then he began to notice that the regularity of sightings had increased by at least 3-4 times. He felt certain that this was due to his signalling and that the objects were under intelligent control. He also mentions that he could “feel them there”, however he finds it very hard to explain exactly how. It’s hard to know what to make of these sightings. I feel that there is a good chance that a lot of the time what Senin was observing was nothing more than satellites or space debris getting caught in the sunlight. The objects had this appearance and also moved on a straight course in the same direction. And also the regularity of the sightings would point towards a mundane explanation. Perhaps the seemingly sudden increase in how often they were being seen was down to a change in weather conditions which mean that before they had been less visible. Or maybe it was because Senin was more alerted to their presence because he was specifically looking out for them. It’s possible that a small amount of the objects seen had an unusual explanation, but I feel that the majority of them were probably just mundane objects in orbit around the Earth. White Light Interaction Since December 2010 to present day, Senin has apparently experienced many sightings of star-like lights which have acted in a strange manner, either moving in unusual ways, blinking, appearing out of nowhere or disappearing without a trace. Sometimes they have appeared to actually acknowledge his presence, stopping directly overhead or reacting to his thoughts. On occasion there have also been other witnesses such as his friends and parents. Below are details of some of these incidents. One evening after dark Senin was standing on the stairs of the building adjacent to his apartment block having a beer. There was complete cloud cover in the sky. Above the building he saw a large glowing white light which was constantly bright and completely stationary. There were no other stars visible through the cloud layer. Senin watched the light for about 10-15 minutes, after which it vanished. Sadly he did not have anything on him to photograph/video the object. However it could not have been a star which was hidden from view, as otherwise it would have been present on further nights. Senin subsequently looked for it but it was not there. Another evening in early summer 2011 Senin went for an evening walk to relax. He was sitting alongside Neretva river near to some fishermen, in the area of Bakina Luka. It was a clear and warm evening. The sun was setting and the stars were already visible in the sky. Photograph of Neretva River running through Mostar: 📷 Senin looked up into the sky and noticed a familiar formation of three stars which are always visible in summer-time (he is not referring to Orion’s Belt). He looked away a short while. When he looked back again there were now four stars. He looked at these for a number of seconds, puzzled as to why there now four. When he looked away then looked back a third time there were again only three. He did not tell any of the fishermen what he had just seen as he thought they would not believe him anyway. Senin was once again sitting on the staircase. He looked up and saw a single bright star. When he looked back to the same location there were now two. Once again when he looked back there was only one again. Senin speaks of other incidents where he has seen stars switch on and off, suddenly get brighter and glide across the sky. He has noted that quite often these objects seem to appear in pairs. He says that he asks to see them and they appear. On one night while away from his home, Senin saw three glowing orbs of light moving across the sky in a triangular formation. He was impressed enough with the sighting that he contacted his mother via his mobile phone and got her to go out onto the balcony to also see the objects. For many hours after this incident, Senin says that there were a number of international military helicopters flying over the city. It is unknown whether these were in any way related to what he had seen or not. On 24th July 2011 Senin was sitting outside with friends. Above them in the sky appeared two very bright white lights. Everyone else present was very surprised, but Senin says that he just laughed because he knew exactly what these lights were. He had wished for them to appear, and so they did. Two days later he was once again sitting down the local park. It was evening time and the sun was just starting to set. In the patch of sky in front of him he noticed a star-like light blinking extremely brightly. It almost looked as if it was trying to transmit a code, although Senin did not write anything down. It was a night in late September 2011. Senin and his friend Jana were out on the terrace chatting and drinking, Senin looked up into the sky and noticed a moving star-like light. It appeared to be nothing more than a satellite but then suddenly stopped moving. They continue to watch the sky for more activity. Later Jena apparently saw a group of these lights. No more details are known about this at present. On 16th October 2011, Senin and Jena drove out to an open field near to Mostar airport to relax. They noticed a glowing white star-like object moving slowly across the sky. It passed overhead and continued heading on a straight course to the South. At first Senin thought it may be a satellite, so he spoke to them in his mind, saying “If that is you my friend just do something so that I know”. At that moment the object stopped and then began moving in the opposite direction, coming back towards their location. When it was right overhead it stopped above them and remained there. To their left they then noticed two other moving lights parallel to one another. Again they suddenly stopped moving and remained stationary in the sky. All three objects remained like this for the next 20 minutes. After this Senin and Jena decided to go and sit in the car. A moment later the objects all blinked out and were gone. Senin once again saw an unexplained white light in the sky on 31st March 2012. This time the light appeared to have a brown coloured trail behind it. He was sitting on the terrace around 9pm, and it was a clear and still evening. He looked to the West and noticed the object moving across the sky. It was at an angle of about 70 degrees. The other white lights are stars: 📷 Initially he thought it must be a comet, however it did not appear to be burning, and it did not flicker at all. Senin watched the object for about 10 seconds, after which it vanished without trace. For some reason he felt frightened by it, even though he had no reason to be. While it is certainly possible that some of these are genuine sightings, it is also possible that some are just down to misidentification of astral objects or sight related issues. Perhaps the sightings where stars have briefly been seen to appear and then disappear again have sometimes been down to temporary visual impairment. Sometimes after dark, bright points of light such as stars can appear to be duplicated unless you stare directly at them, and can even sometimes appear to be moving. I have actually experienced this myself, on one occasion it looked like a particular star was initially moving and then slowing down to a halt. This optical illusion persisted for about 10 seconds until I eventually realised that it was not moving at all. Glowing star-like objects crossing the sky on a straight course, which may or may not suddenly flare up brightly, can easily be explained by satellites or space debris. Ones which have altered speed or direction could still potentially be explained as distant aircraft, LED balloons or Chinese lanterns, although it is not out of the question that they have a more unusual explanation. Cigar UFO Sightings Around July 2011 Senin had several sightings of either a singular or numerous different cigar-shaped UFOs. It was a pleasant day and Senin was once again relaxing on the terrace around mid-day. There were some clouds but it was still and warm. He happened to glance up into the sky and noticed a strange looking object. It appeared to be metallic silver and shaped like a hot dog/cigar. It had no visible wings. Along the length of the object was what appeared to be darker lines, possibly windows or port holes. The object was at quite low altitude over the city, within a few km of his location. It was moving in a Southerly direction at about the same speed that a plane would fly at. It appeared to be powered rather than merely drifting, Senin watched the object for between 30-60 seconds. It then approached a cloud. As it entered the cloud there was no turbulence at all. The object appeared to have some kind of energy field around itself, reaching about 10 meters from its body. This seemed to completely separate it from the surrounding cloud as it passed through. It appeared to be completely silent. Senin continued to watch for the object to emerge from the cloud but it did not reappear. He was convinced that the object was not simply an aeroplane. He spends a lot of time out on the balcony or terrace of his apartment, and is used to how planes look at all distances. His second sighting of such an object occurred at sunset. Senin was sitting within a few hundred metres of his apartment building. The sun had just started to set, and it was still quite bright. He looked up and happened to notice the object, at an angle of about 50-60 degrees from his location. It seemed to be glowing yellowish-white, far too bright to just be caused by reflection of sunlight. Again no engine noise was heard. It slowly turned away from him until he could see just the end of the object so it appeared as a metallic dot in the sky. Even at this angle no wings or tail were visible. Senin watched the object flying away for a couple of minutes. After this time it seemed to vanish without trace. Senin only had his mobile on him, and this does not have a good enough camera on it to film the object. The third sighting again took place in daylight hours. Senin was standing on the staircase of the building adjacent to his, the same location where he had seen the white star-like object overhead on a previous occasion. It was late afternoon and the sun was just starting to go down. He looked up and saw a trail of puffs of smoke/vapour. These were equally spaced out. In the sky beyond his own apartment building, Senin saw the object responsible for the trial. It appeared to be a silver cigar-shaped object. The trail behind the object did not appear like any aeroplane vapour trail he had ever seen before. The object was moving on a straight and level course. It appeared to be no more than 500 metres in the air, and about 800 metres from his location. After watching it for about a minute, it went out of sight behind his apartment block. Senin left the staircase and walked a short distance to continue observing the object, but when he looked he saw that it had disappeared. Once again he only had his mobile phone on him not his proper camera. The objects described in these three incidents certainly seem to be physical objects in the sky. Regarding the initial sighting. if the object really had a field of some kind around it then this puts out of the question that it was anything mundane. UFOs have often been reported to have this energy field around them, and it is widely believed that this is how they are able to fly in our atmosphere without any effects on their speed or movement. However could this energy field have been an optical illusion? Perhaps instead the object was a silver inflatable of some kind drifting in the air? If it were the later then this would cause very little disruption to the cloud, and would of course be silent as reported. In none of the three sightings did the object seen perform any highly unusual manoeuvres. There is therefore the possibility that these objects are merely planes at a distance with the wings horizontal to Senin’s view making them very hard to see. That said, with the second sighting the object turned through 90 degrees yet still no wings were visible. I find the third sighting to be the most likely of all to have a mundane explanation, due to the vapour trail seen. UFOs are very rarely reported to have vapour trails. A trail tends to suggest that the object was burning fuel, and therefore was probably man made. It is interesting that this vapour did not seem to be ejected continuously but in a regular pattern. Perhaps it was a remote controlled model of some kind. Silver Sphere Photographs One morning in mid-July 2011 Senin woke up feeling stressed after only having had a short sleep. It was a clear, warm and still morning. He decided to go outside onto the balcony of his room to relax. Looking to the South, he noticed what appeared to be a silver metallic sphere gliding over a hill named Hum in the distance about 4-5 km away. Senin says there was something strange about the way that the object was reflecting the morning sunlight. He can’t remember exactly what as he was too excited by what he was witnessing. But he thinks that the reflective glare was on the other side to where it should have been. The object appeared to be no larger than 2 metres in diameter. Senin grabbed his Nikon D40 camera and started taking photographs of the object. He was over-joyed to finally capture something on film. The object was moving on a straight course in an Easterly direction at a slow speed. He felt that the object had appeared on purpose to give him the chance to photograph it. He observed the sphere for just over a minute, during which he took around 10 photographs. After this time Senin glanced down at his camera to change some settings. When he looked back up the object was nowhere to be seen. It is clear from this that it is slowly descending in altitude: 📷 Zoomed photo of the UFO: 📷 Zoomed photo with edge find: 📷 As you can see, the object is quite distant and it is hard to get much detail, but it is clear that there is something there reflecting the sunlight, and that it travelling on a straight course. The lack of detail is almost certainly down to the quality of the camera. Senin says that to the naked eye the spherical shape of the object was far more clear. I am certain that the photos are genuine and not hoaxed in any way. Senin has gone to great pains to ensure that I know this to be the case, including asking me to check the manufacturer of his camera and informing me that he has the original memory card with the photos on as proof. Many people have reported seeing metallic spheres, they are one of the more commonly sighted types of UFO. Often they are seen to perform incredible manoeuvres and demonstrate that they are under intelligent control. However no such manoeuvres were observed with this sighting, the object merely moved on a straight course, slowly descending at a constant speed. This means that there is the possibility that it was a silver coloured balloon drifting on an air current. It is great that Senin managed to capture the object on film, and it is an interesting sighting, but it is too distant to say for certain what it is. It was clearly a solid object of some kind. It does not appear to be a conventional aircraft, but an inflatable cannot be ruled out as the explanation. Black Sphere Photographs It was the afternoon of a very hot sunny day in late September 2011. Senin was out on the balcony of his apartment enjoying the warm weather. He looked out over the city and noticed something glittering in the distance up in the sky. He started to watch it more carefully and soon realized that it was a black coloured orb gliding over the buildings. It was moving about the same speed that the silver sphere had moved at. Once again, he picked up his camera and started photographing the object. After a short while he decided to go and get his brother so he could see it also. He ran back into the apartment and called him, before heading back out onto the balcony. Instead of taking more photos Senin was trying to get his brother to come outside as soon as possible, but he took a while as . When looking at the orb directly rather than through the camera lens it appeared brighter. By the time his brother also emerged the orb was about 60-70 metres away, and hovering nearly stationary 20-30 metres over a nearby restaurant. Senin pointed it out to him questioning “Look for yourself – who is crazy now?” His brother could not see the object clearly due to its distance and size. He responded “Where? Where?” Senin replied “I am taking pictures of it right now, come on look a little better, just in front of us.” When he looked back he realized the object had vanished without trace. Senin immediately went to his computer and downloaded the pictures off his camera so he could show his brother. The object had appeared on the photos but his brother was not particularly impressed by it. However drifting light weight objects such as balloons can get caught in air currents and appear to move on a completely level and fixed course. Just as with the silver sphere sighting, there is not enough evidence at present to rule out the possibility that it was a drifting inflatable. That said, it was interesting that it suddenly vanished. According to Senin there were no nearby objects for it to be hidden behind, so where did it go? This aspect of the sighting remains a mystery, as does the identity of the object. Flashing Orbs Sighting The following evening after the date that Senin both sighted and photographed the black sphere, he was to have another fascinating sighting. He was sitting in front of an old building close to his home. On the opposite side of the road are some tall silos that are part of a closed pastry-making factory. It was around 7pm, there was still daylight but sun was just starting to set. It was a clear evening with not many clouds, so he had a good view of the sky. Suddenly at an angle of about 30 degrees in the sky a brightly flashing orb of white light appeared. It was flashing on and off very fast, up to 4 times a second, but in an irregular pattern. Then a second similar object appeared to the right of it and slightly lower down, once again flashing very quickly. Without warning the object on the left suddenly began moving diagonally down to the right extremely fast. A brief moment later the right hand object performed the opposite manoeuvre, moving down and to the left. They continued on this course until they nearly touched. Then they began swirling around each other and ascending vertically. Senin jumped up, excitedly cheering and laughing. He could hear other people in the windows of the building also reacting to the objects. At this point he began recording them on his mobile phone camera.There was also a man walking his dog along the road. Senin briefly stopped looking at the objects to glance at this man. He was staring up at the sky with his mouth agape. When Senin looked back up he saw that the objects had both vanished. He sat back down and contemplated what he had just witnessed. Below is the video footage that Senin took on his mobile phone camera. Unfortunately the quality of the camera is very poor and the objects have not really shown up. However the right hand orb can be seen moving over the top of the silo towards the end at 17 seconds in: 📷 Senin says that the object caught on the video looked different to the naked eye. It was not dark against the sky but was flashing on and off extremely rapidly. The man walking his dog continued along the road, but soon retraced his steps and returned. He looked pale and in shock of what he had seen. He kept glancing up into the sky, no doubt wondering if the lights were going to return. Senin was embarrassed that a few minutes before he had been shouting at the objects. He decided to get up and leave the area. He did not speak to any of the other witnesses about the sighting. It is unfortunate that the camera did not really pick up the objects better, as the manoeuvres performed by them certainly sounded unusual, and may well have been under intelligent control. Due to the fact that the objects were initially stationary and the manner in which they were flashing, it is unlikely that they were birds caught in the sunlight. Striped Sphere On a very hot day in September/October 2011, Senin went to the balcony to have a bite to eat at around mid-day. He was sitting on the floor when he noticed water droplets falling on him. He looked up and could see the drops were from the air conditioner. He then noticed a spherical object directly overhead in the sky. The object appeared to be quite small and had alternating black and red stripes. It reminded him of a flying basketball. The object was about 40-60 metres above him. It was gliding slowly across the sky to the North. He looked up a couple of times at the object. When he looked back a third time he found that just as with some of his other sightings the object had vanished, despite the fact that it was a clear sky. In total it had been present for about 20 seconds. Despite the fact that the object mysteriously disappeared without trace, I feel it is very likely that this sighting was probably a balloon. The unusual striped pattern on it, estimated small size and movement observed all point towards this possibility. Perhaps it had quickly descended out of sight or was caught in the sunlight in such a way that it was no longer visible. Orange Sphere Sighting Soon after the black and red sphere sighting, Senin had a sighting of another spherical UFO, this time orange in colour. It was mid-day and the weather was clear and sunny. Senin was in his bedroom. For an unknown reason he had a sudden feeling that he should go and look out into the sky from the balcony. When he did so he noticed an orange sphere in the distance to the right at an angle of about 30 degrees. He smiled when he noticed the object. He watched it for a short while, then checked down at ground level to see if anyone else was watching it. When he looked back up the object had vanished. Once again it is hard to say exactly what was seen in this sighting. Like the striped sphere seen previously, the object appeared to disappear within a very brief amount of time in a clear sky. However this is not enough to say that the object was something out of the ordinary, there are possible mundane explanations such as an orange coloured balloon. It was a still day so this could easily have remained in the same position in the sky for a short amount of time. Three Metallic Objects On another day in September/October 2011, Senin was sitting at a local park close to the Neretva river, about 5 minutes walk from his apartment. He sat on a bench and thought about the sightings he has had. He hoped that he would have further sightings. Suddenly he saw three objects in the air in the direction he was facing. They appeared to be metallic orbs. They appeared to be no higher than 400 metres in the sky and around 1 km away. They were swirling and dancing around each other, and sometimes disappearing then reappearing. He watched them for a short while, after which they seemed to vanish one by one. Senin was convinced that the objects he was looking at were not birds. However I am not so sure. In bright sunlight distant birds can sometimes appear as metallic spherical shaped objects due to the reflection of the sun off them. I have witnessed this myself on numerous occasions. The illusion can be quite convincing. If the objects were birds, then perhaps they were only noticeable when the light was catching them, which would give the impression that they were disappearing and reappearing. So while it is possible that these were far more unusual, I feel there is not enough evidence to fully rule out birds as the explanation. Yellow Orbs On several occasions both Senin and his friend Jana have witnessed pale yellow-white orbs which have drifted across the night sky and sometimes changed direction mid-flight without changing speed. Sometimes these objects have suddenly vanished without trace rather than flown away into the distance. On one of these occasions Senin was sitting outside alone after dark having a drink. He looked up and saw a yellow orb of light in the sky. He was not certain what he was looking at, so tried to communicate with it using his mind. He said “If those are you my friends, just switch off the light”. At that moment the light vanished. Senin was amazed and convinced that it had responded to his thoughts. Senin had another sighting of one of these orbs on a night in autumn 2011, however this time the orb was more of a yellow-green colour. He was once again sitting alone on the terrace of the apartments block, having a drink and thinking to himself. It was a bit of a cloudy night but other than that quite pleasant. He looked up and saw a very bright yellow-green glowing orb of light travelling very fast across the sky in the direction of his location. The object certainly appeared to be in the atmosphere and not at particularly high altitude. Senin started to signal with his hands towards the object. As it got overhead it briefly stopped above him, then continued on its way until it was lost from sight in the distance. Some of these sightings could be explained away as Chinese lanterns or yellow LED balloons. However these do not tend to suddenly change course in the manner described. It seems unlikely that a helicopter could be the explanation as other navigation lights would be visible and the sound of the rotor blades would almost certainly have been heard. It is also unlikely to be earth lights, as these do not usually appear over populated areas. And what are we to make of the one which appeared to disappear or switch off when Senin asked it to, or the yellow-green orb which seemed to briefly stop overhead before continuing on the same path as before? Could these have been genuine UFOs under intelligent control which responded to him? Or were there other explanations? Maybe the time the yellow orb vanished was merely a coincidence. Could the object have been a lantern which had just burnt out? Or even something else which had simply gone behind a cloud which was too difficult to see in the sky after dark? Perhaps the temporary slow down of the yellow-green orb was just an optical illusion, or a lit inflatable which slowed down due to air currents in the area. As with many of Senin’s sightings there are numerous possibilities worth considering. The Symbol While up on the terrace one evening in late September 2011, Senin suddenly noticed something strange on one of the walls about 5-6 metres away from where he was sitting. He went to take a closer look. There was what looked like a strange shaped symbol on the wall with many circles – three in the middle and two at the right. He looked at it for over a minute quite puzzled by it. He thought at first someone had played a practical joke on him but it didn’t look like it was drawn on the top of the wall. He went back over to the other side of the terrace to finish his beer. After a short while he returned to take a second look at the markings. Now it appeared that the symbol had changed! There were now three circles on the right instead of two, and it looked like it had been flipped round on its side. It was bizarre. Senin was certain that there had been nobody else up there on the terrace. Barely anyone ever goes up there, and even if they had he would have certainly heard them. The following day he went back up to the terrace to take some daylight photos of the markings on the wall. Photograph of the symbol, which appears to be permanent and is still visible today: 📷 Overlaid diagram showing the pattern on the wall: 📷 The symbol appears to be made up of nine circles in a roughly circular pattern. They appear to have been printed on the wall in black liquid/paint of some kind. There is a line connecting the central three circles, however this appears to have been formed from the liquid running down from the upper two of these. At the base of most of the circles is a darker area, which again would have been formed by the liquid running and congregating. All the circles are the same size, suggesting that a flat round object was dipped in liquid and then pressed against the wall numerous times to make the pattern. It’s probable that the central three in a vertical line were created first, which would account for the running liquid between them. Then it looks like the ones on the left and upper right were done, and lastly the middle and lower right ones which appear more faded. Although Senin is adamant that the middle right circle was not there initially, it was probably just not noticed because of how faded it is. It is extremely likely that this symbol is human-made and not ET related in any way. Perhaps someone went up on the terrace and did this on the wall earlier in the day before Senin was there. It may have been done on purpose for him to find, or could have been created randomly just for fun. White Cigar and Orbs In the daytime on 15th January 2012 Senin went to his balcony for a breath of fresh air. He had his camera with him, and since taking the black orb back in 2011 had been hoping to capture something else. Looking out over the city he noticed numerous white coloured UFOs in the distance, which he could make out against the darker hillside in the background. He managed to take many photographs of these objects. The objects do not really perform any impressive manoeuvres throughout the series, although they can be seen to alter their course. Perhaps they were something unusual, but it is hard to say for sure. Possible Paranormal Activity As well as UFO sightings, since mid-2011 Senin and even some of his friends and family have experienced many other unusual events. These incidents have ranged from objects moving or vanishing of their own accord, and electrical devices acting in an abnormal manner. Below are documented some of the odd things that have taken place. One day Senin went to purchase something from a local shop for his mother. Before entering the shop he counted out the money in his pocket. He found that it was a little more money than his mother had given him. He was certain that he was not already carrying any on him. He went into the shop and grabbed the item. When he went to the counter to pay for it, he found that he had the exact money for the item. As nothing else had happened before, he just put this down to a mistake. However a couple of days later the same thing happened again. Senin has a small ponytail that he ties back with a hair band. On one occasion he took this band off and placed it in his left pocket, He was absolutely certain that he did this but a couple of minutes later when he looked for it he found it was now in his right pocket. An hour later he came home and decided to go to sleep a while. He left the band in the pocket of his shorts. Later when he awoke he found that it was no longer in his pocket but elsewhere in the room where he sometimes leaves it. On another occasion he arrived home and took out the key to the terrace and some loose change from his left pocket. He put them away elsewhere in the room. Later he went to look for them and found the change but no key. He checked the left pocket of his shorts, again no key. When he checked his right pocket he found it there. Senin is absolutely adamant that these incidents took place and that he was not just mistaken. Senin is under the impression that the ETs are causing these mysterious disappearances and movement of objects. One day he decided to put this to the test. He had temporarily taken off his hair band and his trainers while he leant against a wall. In his mind he asked them to do something with the band. He checked back a couple of times and the band was still there. A minute later he put the band back on and walked a short distance to an elevator. While using the elevator he looked at his reflection in the metal and could see that the band was not on his hair. He was certain he had put it on correctly but retraced his steps to the wall. The band had completely vanished. The following afternoon, he was about to leave the house and glanced down onto his computer desk. There alongside the monitor was the missing band. This type of thing has also been witnessed by his close friends. Senin knows a girl named Jena who he often spends time with. Sometimes they like to go out driving to other places in the city to relax and listen to music. On an evening in autumn 2011 they drove out to a deserted industrial zone of Mostar. They sat in the car with the doors open listening to music and drinking beer. Jana wanted a smoke and started looking for her cigarettes packet. She opened the drawer of the CD player on the dashboard but there was nothing inside it except a disc. She explained to Senin that she was certain she had left the packet there. She next turned round to the back seat and checked her purse, saying she had a second packet in there. Again she could not find any cigarettes. Senin said she should check the CD player a second time just to make sure. When she did so she found one of the packets. She was absolutely convinced it had been empty. A moment later she screamed out loud. The second packet was on her lap in plain sight. Senin started laughing as he believed it was the ETs doing this. Jena looked shaken and said she was not feeling well. Senin explained to her that many similar incidents had been happening to him and that she did not have to be scared. An hour later they moved the car to a different location for a change of scene. While they were there they stared up at the stars, and Jena saw a bright star-like object switch on and off twice in the sky. Again she said she did not feel well, and Senin explained how he had seen these lights on previous occasions. Senin has experienced unusual odd activity with his computer. It has on numerous occasions switched videos he is watching automatically, and on one occasion appeared to install updates even though it wasn’t attached to the internet at the time. While these events are more than likely down to errors or complexities with his PC, they are still interesting observations and worth mentioning. Other devices around the home and elsewhere have also acted in a strange manner. Twice in September 2011 the bulb in the hallway of the apartment exploded. On both of these occasions Senin’s grandmother was present, though it is unclear whether this was related in any way or not. On 6th March 2012 Senin was sitting in the kitchen with his grandmother. All of a sudden there was a click noise and they realised the oven had turned on by itself. Both were puzzled as to how this could have happened. Soon after, one of Senins friend’s informed him that the air conditioner at her house had done exactly the same. Also there is a street light near to Senins apartment which doesn’t work correctly and does not switch on after dark. On a couple of occasions when Senin has walked under this it has turned on. What can be made of these incidents? It seems clear that at least some of them could easily have mundane explanations. Regarding the moving and disappearing objects, perhaps on some of these occasions Senin has merely been mistaken and put down the objects in places without realizing. And the strange activity of electrical devices could be nothing more than random errors or coincidences. However so many things have happened that perhaps we should consider the possibility that something more unusual is taking place. If there are other forces at work here, it is unlikely they are directly related to the UFOs that Senin has witnessed. I find it pretty improbable that the ETs would move or hide objects – even if they had the ability to do this, for what purpose would they need to? Many contactees have reported experiencing paranormal activity in their proximity. This activity can often include strange electrical faults and poltergeist-like events, just as Senin describes. Could this be evidence suggesting that Senin is a contactee? Conclusion As you can see Senin has had lots of different experiences, including many UFO sightings. It is clear that Senin believes that he is experiencing direct and regular interaction with ETs. However many of the sightings he has mentioned and taken photographs of could well have mundane explanations such as inflatables, distant aircraft or satellites. I feel that Senin sometimes labels his experiences as being ET related far too easily. That said, some of the sightings he has described are very impressive and clearly seem to be of objects that have either moved in very advanced ways, or even directly acted on his thoughts. There are particular incidents which are very hard to explain in mundane terms, and some of Senin’s experiences are certainly worthy of interest. Could Senin be a contactee? There are arguments on both side of the coin here. If some of the UFOs he has seen really have acted on his thoughts then this means there is a form of interaction going on between him and them, which is the very definition of contact. The fact that Senin has had so many different experiences, ones which have sometimes been witnessed by others as well, should not be ignored. Many people go through their whole life without ever seeing a single UFO, so this is certainly significant in itself. Senin is also experiencing activity which may have a paranormal explanation. Many contactees report activity such as this in their proximity, so this could be further evidence that he is experiencing contact. However so far Senin has not had any experiences where he has seen an ET being, nor heard them actually communicate with him directly. Nor has he reported any missing time experiences where something may have taken place. I have no doubt that Senin will continue to have sightings of unidentified objects in the skies over Mostar. It is likely he will manage to capture more of these mysterious objects on film. If he decides to keep in touch with BUFOG going forward perhaps in due course we may discover more about what is happening here, and what Senin plays in it all. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Last Updated: 08/05/2012 Introduction In December 1980  something astounding took place in the area of Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk. Over three consecutive nights there was repeated UFO activity witnessed by many individuals. This became known in UFO lore as the Rendlesham Forest Incident, and is widely regarded as some of the best evidence for the reality of the subject. Ever since the incident many people have come forward to claim that they too have witnessed strange phenomena in the forest, and some believe it to be an area of ongoing activity. Towards the start of March 2012 BUFOG received details of numerous UFOs which were seen by two witnesses named David and Dave on the edge of Rendlesham Forest back in August 1988. These UFOs may or may not have been the same object. Over numerous E-Mails from David the full details of this incident came to light. Sighting Details David has always had a fascination with the UFO subject since an early age. In 1988 in his early twenties, he read the book Skycrash: A Cosmic Conspiracy by Brenda Butler. This inspired him to travel down to Rendlesham Forest in August 1988 with a friend to try and locate the landing site. They were able to do so. While they were there in the forest, David had the strange and unpleasant feeling of being watched. Something did not feel right. Many others have reported this sensation in the area. As it began to get dark they decided to take their leave and head for home, quite a distance West of their current location. It was a clear night and the stars were visible above them. They got back into their van and began to drive out of the forest. They left the visitors car park, got back onto Woodbridge Road and began travelling due West towards Bromeswell. While he stood near to the car, suddenly a very bright sphere of constant white light flew over his head. There was no trail behind it. It looked quite small in size, perhaps a couple of feet in diameter. It was at high altitude but he was in the atmosphere, about a mile up. It was moving on a straight course at quite a fast speed, about as fast as a jet. It was too slow to be a meteorite. David was shocked by the sudden appearance of this object and after observing it for about 20 seconds he jumped back into the van. He told his friend to continue driving home. Photograph of the possible location where David may have sighted the orb (David cannot clarify whether or not this is accurate as he did not pay much attention at the time): 📷 About a mile further along the road, a dimly glowing long bar of orange light suddenly appeared to the left of their vision. It appeared to be around 30 feet in length. It flew across the road in front of them at a slow speed, roughly 30-40 mph. As it moved it slowly descended. It continued on this path and descended into some open fields on the right side of the road. Both David and his friend clearly saw this. His friend wanted to stop but David was un-nerved by the appearance of this second object. In response to his friend’s suggestion he said “No way – let’s get out of here!” Witness drawing of the orange bar added to a photo of a road at night as a representation of what was seen: 📷 His friend sped up the car. As they drove alongside where the object had descended, he suddenly exclaimed “What the hell is that?” David peered over his friend off to the right side of the road. There over the field at low altitude was what looked like a manta ray shaped object, surrounded in a thin glowing cloud. It was about ¼ mile from their position and again appeared to be about 30 feet across. The main body of the object appeared to be dark grey in colour. There were several beams of “solid looking” light coming from the front of the object. These were extremely bright. They lit up the surface of the object and also reflected back off the cloud surrounding it. When it first appeared the object was facing West, in the same direction they were driving. However as they watched it began turning towards their direction and also moving closer to the road while continuing to descend. Dave drove extremely fast away from the area. As they did they looked back several times until their view was blocked by trees. In total they had observed the object for about 45 seconds. They stopped the car about a mile further down the road when they reached one of the first houses of Bromeswell. Now they were far away they felt safer, and got out to look for the object, but it was no longer visible and their view was largely blocked by willow trees. David was left with the distinct impression that they had been given a demonstration of some kind – that they were being shown on purpose for some reason. Looking back on the incident, David has a bit of a mental block surrounding part of the incident. He cannot currently remember part of the journey home. After leaving Bromeswell the first village he remembers them reaching in the car is Sudbury. However in checking a map, it is clear that they would have definitely had to pass through Woodbridge, and then probably Ipswich and Hadleigh prior to reaching Sudbury (unless they took a bizarre and long-winded route).  He wonders whether anything else may have taken place which he cannot currently remember for whatever reason, however he does not wish to find out whether this is the case or not. Aerial map showing the distance between Rendlesham Forest (A) and Sudbury (B): 📷 Sighting Analysis Let me start by saying how impressed I am with the information David has sent through and the way in which he has done so. As with all reported cases, one should always be wary of possible hoaxes. Initially he did not leave any contact details so we only had certain information to go on. While this was not in any way suspicious, it did mean that I could not really vouch for the authenticity of the details provided, especially considering the location where the incident took place. However since then David has come back with further information off his own back more than once. He has provided drawings and also answered my questions sufficiently. The information he has provided both initially and in follow on correspondence certainly sounds authentic, and includes many incidental and trivial details that make it all the more believable. Also David has directly stated that he does not want any attention or credit for providing the information, he just feels that it should be shared because of where it happened. This is one of the reasons why he did not initially provide me with contact details. The glowing orb of white light seen initially could not have been a Chinese lantern as it was moving too fast, was constantly bright and the wrong colour for a lantern. It was also unlikely to have been a white LED balloon due to the speed of movement and the fact that these have only been widely available for the last few years. As David pointed out, the object was moving too slowly to have been a meteorite. Could it have been a jet aircraft flying at high altitude? This cannot be ruled out, however surely the sound of the plane would have been heard after dark, and it is likely that other navigation lights would have also been seen if this were the case. The orange bar of light is even harder to explain. This appears to have had a definite form. It was moving too slow for the bar shape to have been caused by velocity distortion. It was moving much too slowly to have been a meteorite, and was clearly not a conventional aircraft. It certainly seems to be linked to the structured object which was seen over the field as this is where it descended to. David wonders if it was lighting on the object which was then no longer visible because it had turned, or could even have been switched off. Another possibility is that it was some kind of glowing energy which masked the actual appearance of the UFO until it was over the field. It could even have changed physical form. We are unlikely to ever know for sure. The manta ray shaped solid object seen over the field is fascinating and certainly seems out of the ordinary. It was clearly not a low flying helicopter due to the appearance, and it sounds like it was too large to have been an inflatable or model of some kind. The glowing cloud surrounding it and beams of light emerging from the front are both very intriguing aspects that do not seem to fit a mundane explanation. It was actually up in the air and still descending as the witnesses past it in their car, so it could not have been a vehicle on the ground with headlights on. As a comparison, David stated that the shape of the UFO reminded him of the flying sub from the old TV series “Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea”: 📷 It should be noted that some of the aspects of this case can be linked back to descriptions from the Rendlesham Forest incident. The glowing cloud surrounding the manta ray shaped object, and the way in which the UFO possibly changed form from a light into a solid craft, both have similarities to things Larry Warren described seeing on the 3rd night of the Rendlesham Forest incident of December 1980, although the craft was completely different. This appears to be another stunning sighting of unexplained objects in and around Rendlesham Forest. In some ways it has as much importance as what took place back in December 1980, although clearly there were far fewer witnesses and we only have David's testimony to go on. However this case does provide more evidence suggesting that there is ongoing activity in the area. Report Links The UFO or UFOs described above were not the only time David has seen UFOs. When he was 15 years old he and some friends had a stunning sighting of a disc-shaped UFO over Kettering. This appears to have been only one of many sightings reported around the time. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Last Updated: 12/05/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used This sighting of a potential Flying Triangle has some unusual aspects to it, but remains an interesting case, with numerous similarities to other FT incidents. The witness got in touch with BUFOG after hearing us being interviewed on Kerrang radio. Andrew believes the sighting took place in September 2008 but he cannot remember the exact date. He was listening to the same radio show that we were recently interviewed on – “The Night Before.” This late night show from 10pm-1am features many interesting interviews, often based around the paranormal. On the particular evening in question, there was someone on who proposed that if you went outside your house and believed you were going to see a UFO then you would do! This seemed unlikely, but the witness decided to go and try precisely that. He went outside, around the side of his house on Flat Road, Chichester. He thought about wanting to see a UFO and stared at the sky for several minutes. It was a clear, pleasant night and the stars were out. He could see nothing and was just about to head back inside when he glanced back to the sky directly over his house. There over the roof of the house, several hundred feet up, he could see what looked like the corner of a massive dark navy-coloured triangular shaped craft. There were no lights visible on the craft. Andrew estimates that judging by the corner he could see, the craft must have been 150-200 foot wide. He watched it hovering silently in the sky for several seconds. He did not feel any fear, he felt more elated and excited about seeing the craft. As he looked at it he felt in his head that he was being asked if he wanted to go along with them. He remembers thinking that he did not wish to go. A second later the craft suddenly accelerated away from his position at great speed. It did not fly overhead but instead went away out of sight over the roof of his house to the East. He describes how the speed was incredible; it must have accelerated instantly to hundreds of miles per hour. Throughout the sighting the craft was completely silent. Map of sighting location: 📷 Soon after his sighting, Andrew spoke about it to a friend, who suggested that what he must have seen was just an after image of the roof of the neighbouring house. However this could not have been the case as they have a flat roof, this would not have caused the shape he saw. He is convinced that he saw something genuine that had seemingly turned up on purpose in answer to his thoughts. There are some fields close to his house, and he wonders if maybe instead of him, the craft was observing something in those fields. Andrew personally believes in UFOs but believes that they are actually craft from the future, and that extraterrestrial beings seen are actually an evolved form of ourselves. It is certainly an interesting theory which I have heard mentioned numerous times before. It seems almost too good to be true that the witness actually stepped outside wishing to see a UFO and then one actually appeared, but this does not mean that it did not happen. Perhaps what was seen was merely an optical illusion of some kind that lasted for a short time, but the witness is adamant that it took place. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 10/06/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Sighting Details Early in the morning of 19th May 2012 Gavin was out on the front porch of his house in Joliet Illinois, having a cigarette with his girlfriend Sarah. It was around 1.30am and a clear warm night. From the South they suddenly observed a yellow/amber coloured light moving in their direction. The object was about 1500-2000 feet high. It appeared to be travelling around 70 mph. The light was constantly bright and not flickering or flashing at all. It was moving on a straight course, but would occasionally wobble a small amount. As it approached the couple realised it was completely silent. I was able to speak with both witnesses by E-Mail. Gavin remembers seeing it as a sphere. However Sarah remembers something slightly different. She says that it looked like the front of the object fanned out and was a bit brighter than the rest of it. She compared it to a “solid headlight.” The object passed over the house and continued to the North out of sight. Both witnesses were convinced that it was not a Chinese lantern. Gavin has seen and launched these before and knows how they appear. He says the object appeared to be too large, and was not flickering at all. Sighting Analysis Often amber/yellow coloured lights seen after dark can be explained as Chinese lanterns. Certainly some aspects of what was seen would fit with this explanation. Up close it is possible to see the structure, but further away lanterns usually look like spheres of light. They do tend to travel on a straight course due to air currents. They also will often wobble as they drift along, just how the witnesses describe. As there is no point of reference in the night sky, they can sometimes appear larger, faster and more distant than they actually are. That said we should take into account the fact that Gavin has seen lanterns before and feels that this object was something else. Also the brighter fanned out shape that Sarah saw at the front of the object does not really fit in with a lantern. It is interesting how she noticed this but Gavin did not, though this is not particularly significant – where there are multiple witnesses small discrepancies such as this are often noted, and can generally be put down to individual perception. It is possible that it was an unusual design of lantern but, due to the reasons stated above, another explanation cannot entirely be ruled out. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2012

Birmingham UFO Group Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 22/06/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Introduction In most cases of contact, the individuals involved are actually physically visited or taken by ETs. Quite often the beings will not speak with them, or provide them with any information at all. However in this case the opposite seems to have taken place. A man and his daughter appear to have both received information from an ET species visiting the Earth, but have not actually had any face-to-face encounters with them. For a period of months, around the same time they received the information, the witnesses also had many UFO sightings, some of which have been quite impressive. Early UFO Sighting Neil’s first remembered UFO sighting occurred when he was 7 years old. He remembers being outside soon after his grandmother died, and seeing a glowing light descend from the sky. At the time he thought it was a vision to do with his grandmother's death, but looking back at the incident he wonders if it was instead an early sighting of an ET craft. Crescent Shaped Lights In late November 2010, Neil and his partner were out on an evening walk when they witnessed several crescent shaped glowing lights in the sky. There was also a brighter light ahead of the crescents at a higher altitude. Neil has so far not provided any further information about this particular sighting, but if he does so this section will be updated. Flying Triangle Encounter On 3rd November 2011 Neil was out in his car in Darlington, on his way back home after collecting his dog from a relative’s house. It was 8.35pm and a clear moonlit evening. He was at the junction between Fulthorpe Avenue and Lunedale Road on the Mowden Estate. As he glanced to the right to turn, he noticed some glowing lights in the sky to the South. They appeared to be over the West Cemetery area about ¼ to ½ mile away. They appeared to be about 2000-3000 feet high. He turned onto Lunedale Road. A few seconds later he realised the lights were moving together in a downward pointing triangular formation at a fast velocity. They appeared to be rapidly descending in a swooping arc towards him. He also noticed that they weren’t the usual amber orange colour of lanterns. Two of the lights were yellow and the third one was red. Neil was interested in what the lights could be so he began slowing the car to observe them. Another car pulled up behind his, so he stopped opposite the junction to Birkdale Road to let the other car past. He then turned into the junction to view the lights front on. Within seconds the object was much closer and lower down. Neil could now see that it was a black coloured triangle shaped object, with a light at each point. It was clearly solid and was blocking out the moonlit sky. It appeared to be flying at a vertical angle, exposing the lights on its base. Neil estimates that each side of the triangle was about 300 feet across. It was now at relatively low altitude, well below cloud level. Neil opened the car door to see if it was making any sound but it was completely silent. The dog did not seem particularly bothered by the proximity of the UFO. Neil got out his camera phone to try and video the object but his hands were shaking so much that he could not correctly enter his password. Then as it flew alongside his location the lights suddenly dimmed and the object completely vanished. Witness drawing including notes showing the UFO’s movement path: 📷 In total Neil had watched the object for about 60-90 seconds. He was convinced that it was an advanced craft of some kind, and extraterrestrial in origin. It was far too large to have been a radio controlled model. He drove the rest of the way home and informed his partner Paula about what he had seen. She could immediately see that he was shaken up by the experience, and it was very clear to her that he had seen something. This type of craft has been reported by witnesses many times before, and is commonly referred to as a “Flying Triangle”. While the lighting configuration on these craft can vary, they are generally described as black/dark navy in colour, and usually have a light at each corner. Sometimes a central light is also seen. While some people feel that the explanation for these sightings is a top secret military project, there are numerous reasons why many others, myself included, believe that they are extraterrestrial in origin. They have been seen all around the world for numerous decades, and commonly are witnessed over highly populated areas. I have also looked into numerous contact cases which directly involve this type of craft. Noted Side Effects After his initial sighting of the Flying Triangle, Neil found it took him days to calm back down. However it still haunts him, and since that day he has never had more than 5 hours sleep and his sleep is continually broken. He also began to suffer from depression like symptoms. He had never suffered from this before in his life, even after traumatic incidents such as the death of his brother. These symptoms have since died down, but it certainly appears that they were linked directly with the UFO sighting. These types of symptoms are often experienced by contactees; however the incident itself appeared to have just been a sighting, nothing more. Neil has no recollection of any missed time or signs which would suggest he was abducted. The Triangle Returns Within weeks, the Flying Triangle that Neil had seen would be witnessed again. But the second sighting of it was not by Neil, but by his daughter Emily and her friend. It occurred on a Saturday night (exact date unknown). Emily was standing at the junction between Salutation Road and Baydale Road. Aerial map of the junction where the sighting took place: 📷 Photograph of the sighting location: 📷 Below is an overview of what happened in Emily’s own words (provided to me by Neil): “We saw it about 10.15pm. We were stood in the middle of the road talking and saw the triangle when we looked up. The triangle was directly above me and my friend below cloud level. It was totally silent. It was there for about 15-20 seconds before just disappearing into thin air. It may have been there slightly longer before we noticed it as it was totally silent, I’m unsure.” After discussing the sighting with her father, Emily and Neil came to the agreement that it was the same craft. It is fascinating that they both had an encounter with this craft, and this is far too unlikely to have just been a coincidence. It implies that direct interaction was going on and that Neil and Emily were being monitored by the UFO for whatever purpose. Glowing Orb Sighting It wasn’t long before Neil and Emily had another UFO sighting. Neil visits Emily most Wednesdays, and they often go to visit his mother. It was the evening of Wednesday 7th December 2011. They were out walking the dog round the neighbourhood. They were walking down Leith Road and just passing the junction of Crammond Close. Neil looked in the direction of the close, and this is when he noticed a brightly glowing orb of white light to the South West. It appeared to be about 120 metres from their location, over a small area of woodland. Initially it was about 150 feet in the air. It did not appear to be very large. Emily estimates it was about the size of a football, but Neil believes it was smaller than this and no bigger than a grapefruit. Neil wanted to go into the wood to see if they could spot the object again, but Emily was frightened and didn’t want to get any nearer. She began to drag Neil away, which in turn started to upset the dog. Neil decided to leave things and so they both began to walk home, discussing what they had seen. Neil says that the movement of the orb appeared to be controlled rather than random drifting. He is familiar with what Chinese lanterns look like, and has seen videos of LED balloons on the internet. He says that this object looked different to either of these. It was moving too slowly to have been a meteorite, and it is unlikely to have been an earth light or ball lightning because the weather was clear, and these do not tend to appear over built up areas. Could this have been an unmanned probe that was once again observing Neil and Emily? The White Light The next two sightings were witnessed by Neil, and took place on 23rd and 24th December 2011. On both occasions he witnessed a very bright glowing white light over the Mowden Estate. On the 23rd December between 6.30-7pm Neil was out walking his dog along Brinkburn Road, Darlington. It was a clear and pleasant evening and due to the time of year the sun had already set. Due to the previous UFO sightings, Neil was keeping one eye on the sky. Suddenly he noticed a bright white light to the South West. It appeared to be over the area of Mowden, 1-2 miles away from his location. Neil estimates it was a couple of thousand feet high, although this was hard to judge due to the distance. The light was motionless. He continued to watch it for about 15 minutes. During this time he decided to try and record it using his mobile phone. Unfortunately it did not come out. In the end he decided to continue on his route along Auckland Avenue. He occasionally looked back and could still see the light in the sky. In the end he lost it behind the nearby buildings. Neil does not think it was a helicopter as it looked much too bright, no other navigation lights were visible and he could hear no sound coming from it. The following evening Neil was once again out walking his dog along Willow Road. It was later than the previous evening. He looked up and once again spotted the glowing white light at roughly the same location as before. Again he watched it a while before continuing on his way. Aerial map showing Willow Road: 📷 While these sightings could easily be put down to a distant helicopter, especially considering the fact that it appeared 2 nights in a row and just before Christmas,  Neil is adamant that it was something else. He is fully aware of what aircraft and helicopters look like after dark and says that this was different. He has not seen it since those two evenings. Information Transmission From about two days after his sighting of the Flying Triangle, Neil began to feel that something was trying to transmit information directly to him. This information came to him as both thoughts and still images in his mind. It was not continuous but would come through at random times. This communication continued until early 2012. Back in November and December it was happening several times a week, but then seemed to die down. When it occurred, Neil would get a ringing in his ears similar to tinnitus. Below Neil tries to describe what this information transmission was like in his own words: “The images felt like they were placed in my memory rather than sudden flashes. I had a vivid imagination as a child, so know that these were not a product of it. They were almost like a memory that had been placed there. It is difficult to describe. The thoughts were similar. It was like they were placed into my mind, rather than my imagination thinking them up. I could suddenly think of them, but other times it sort of came back to me like a memory. Many times I was not actually able to comprehend what they were trying to say. I just don’t think my intelligence is up to it.” When this communication started to happen, Neil realised that something similar was already happening to his daughter Emily. Back in December she had confided in him that she was being contacted by something which was giving her information and causing buzzing in her ears. She wondered whether it was a spirit of some kind. Neil had already been given an overview from Emily of what type of information she felt she was receiving. He was now receiving very similar information to this, so was aware that this was the same thing. The fact that both him and his daughter were now both experiencing this seemed to suggest that it was really happening and not just the result of a medical condition. Some of the thoughts/images were clear where as others were more indistinct. The information received included the following: - The beings in contact with them were from elsewhere in the universe. - The beings look somewhat similar to Greys. They are short in height, have large craniums and eyes, and long slender limbs. However they also possess more human-like features such as a small nose and mouth. We share common origins with them. - They come from a planet larger than the Earth with a very sparse population spread over a small number of settlements. The planet has much less light than on Earth, with a deep blue tinge to the sky. There is one small sun which provides most of what light there is. There is also a very bright star which can be seen during daylight hours. The air on the planet is just breathable by humans; you get breathless very easily there. Gravity is stronger so you feel very heavy, and it is difficult to get up if you sit or lie down. It is difficult to move around. - The beings have no written language and do not speak vocally. Communication is direct via telepathy. - They do have the concept of right and wrong, but do not express complex emotions. They do not have relationships or family, and do not understand why humans have this. - They do not follow any religion, nor do they have money or an economy. They do not understand the human need for this. - They travel to Earth by somehow short cutting space and travelling vast distances in an instant. Time and distance isn’t constant as we think of it, but rather broken by minute interludes. Another way of looking at it is as pulses of time/distance. By getting between one of the pulses, you can exit at another future distant interlude without using any time but having travelled a great distance. The key to travelling like this is to calculate the entry and exit point interludes together as they are tiny fractions.  Their technology can do this. It is possible to move backwards and forwards between any points in distance but time is static, you do not travel forwards or backwards in time. This sort of travel is possible anywhere either in space, in the air or even on the ground. This method of travel is used by all intelligent races and is the only realistic way to travel between star systems given the distances involved. It is also possible but highly improbable to accidently travel through interludes. This has happened on occasion by pure chance, but often the entry and exits are not aligned and the individual/vehicle is lost. There have been some that have achieved it but do not realise what has happened. - They will not give mankind their space travel technology as we are not ready for it developmentally. Doing so would enable man to export aggression and war anywhere. It is safer that we do not have it until we are ready for it. Our science was moving along this route, but our theories took a wrong turn. One person even carried out practical experiments (Neil was not informed who). - They have historically had contact with the human race at a governmental level. However due to abuse of knowledge and technology which they have shared, they now limit their contact to ordinary people. - The public is being misled about climate change and fossil fuel reserves. This is done for economical reasons. A lot of the “facts” of the world are incorrect. - They have indicated locations of oil and gas resources which are known about but kept secret for economical reasons.  These locations have included the Yorkshire coast, and the Atlantic Ocean near to Greenland. - There are problems with the Earth’s crust which are beyond anyone’s control. Apparently our understanding of the Earth’s crust and core is wrong. A lot more of it is molten metal rather than rock and this molten metal has currents like the oceans.  The seismic and volcanic events we’ve seen over the last few years are due to increased currents in the molten metallic core of the Earth caused by a macro-magnetic effect. These energies find their way to surface disrupting the thinner upper layers and the crust itself. This has happened periodically on all young planets composed of iron like the Earth. It will probably settle down, but there is a chance that it can cause extinction on the planet. - They do not possess weapons as we know them, but have intervened at numerous points in the past to prevent catastrophe. If they wish they can interfere with our electrical technology. - They do not wish for unrestrained direct contact with humans as we can become aggressive when frightened and pose a threat to them. - They have also provided disturbing information about the future of Earth and the human race. Neil has trouble understanding all of it. It causes him confusion and pain, and he is uncomfortable with talking about it with me at present. - Emily has also been informed that at some point they will need to take a number of people, mostly young. There is no indication as to whether these people will be brought back or not. A lot of the information which Neil has received he also heard about from his daughter without any prompting. This included details about the beings planet, their method of travel and the information about the Earth’s crust. This is one of the reasons Neil feels certain that communication really did take place. Another reason is the fact that it seemed to begin shortly after his initial close encounter with the Flying Triangle. Neither he or Emily currently understand why they were given this information, why it ceased after a time, or what they are supposed to do with this knowledge. Further Triangle Sightings In early 2012 Neil and Emily both had further sightings of a triangular shaped object, possibly the same craft they had seen previously. On one evening they were walking along Edinburgh Drive between 7-8pm. It was a pleasant moonlit evening with broken cloud in the sky. They were walking past Hummersknott School when something made them look skyward to the East. Through a gap in the cloud they saw a clearly defined black triangular shape blocking out the stars. There were no lights on it this time but Neil and Emily were both convinced that there was something present. They felt that the object was trying to communicate with them, although no clear thoughts or images came through. After a while they decided to continue walking, and left the triangle still present in the sky. On the second occasion Neil was round visiting his mother with his partner and daughter. He and Emily were outside the house when again they suddenly noticed the triangular object in the sky, this time hovering over the housing estate. Once again they felt the electrical sensation the same as before. Neil called his partner out to come and see the object but by the time she had come outside it had vanished from sight. Conclusion Although Neil and Emily have not had any physical encounters with the ET beings (at least to their current knowledge) it certainly appears that they have been in contact with another intelligence. You may feel that some of the information received is far-fetched, or believe that this has another more mundane explanation. Obviously it cannot be fully ruled out that Neil and Emily’s own imagination did not play a part in the information received. However what cannot be easily explained is how Neil and Emily would have received such similar information independently from one another. As I have not yet interviewed Emily directly I have no definite proof of this, but see no reason for why Neil would be making all of this up. He has provided a lot of details across numerous E-Mails and appears both serious and level headed about what has happened. Also the many UFO sightings that both witnesses have had around the same months that this communication was taking place should not be ignored. It does seem to suggest that something definite has occurred, and that the communication and the UFOs they saw were linked. He has always wondered about the real reason behind them. Then in 2011 a particular incident occurred which seemed to link his experiences with ET contact. It is because of this that he decided to get in touch with me via Richplanet.net. This report gives an overview of his experiences and my thoughts on them. Early Fears Tom believes that his experiences began as early as 1976 when he was 9 years old. He says that it is very hard to put into words. There were occasions when he would suddenly get a feeling of extreme fear for no apparent reason. This happened both in the day time while he was playing with his toys, and in the middle of the night, there was seemingly no definite pattern to it. Tom says the best way to describe it is that he would suddenly feel very insignificant and overpowered, like there were invisible walls all around him. Whenever it occurred he would feel the need to be around others. This occurred on numerous occasions between the ages of 9-16 and then seemed to stop. It was an unsettled time of his life due to the breakdown of his parent’s relationship and sudden relocation to Pontefract. Tom wonders if this was the reason behind these incidents. This is of course a possibility. However he does say that what was going on with his family was not overly traumatic. So perhaps there was another underlying reason, and that these sudden attacks of fear were brought on by him subconsciously being aware of one or more ET contact experiences. Contactees often report having sudden panic attacks which seem linked to their experiences rather than something else in their life. That said, Tom does not at present feel that these feelings are related to contact. Paralyzed From about the age of 21, Tom has suffered from paralysis incidents while sleeping. The first memorable experiences of this occurred when he was sleeping on the back seat of his car at a car park in Doncaster. He suddenly awoke and found he couldn’t move. He could sense a presence that felt like it was interacting with him in some way. As he had been drinking during the evening he put the experience down to this. However ever since he has had similar experiences occur from time to time. It tends to occur during the night and after he has gone off to sleep. He suddenly awakes with the feeling of a surge of energy through his body. He then finds that he cannot move at all. Sometimes he tries to force himself to speak, and only quiet murmurs come out. Tom is now divorced, but back when he was married prior to 2001 he had an agreement with his wife that if she heard him struggling in the night she would push him to help him get out of the paralysing state. The fact that this has occurred regularly for many years and that Tom’s wife was present during many of these experiences while Tom was undergoing them means that they were probably not related to ET contact. That said, an experience in April 2011 would put this into question (see later). Electrical Disturbance In 2001 when Tom was 21 years old he used to live in a flat above a shop on Bently Road, Doncaster. One mid-week night he went off to sleep like normal, setting both his alarm clock and wrist watch for 5am. It was clear weather outside but quite cold due to the time of year. The following morning he awoke much later than intended. He sat up and peered outside. It was a windy morning and some light snow had settled during the night. It was now fully bright so clearly much later than 5am. When he checked the alarm clock he found that it had reset and was just showing 0:00. He checked his watch which was lying next to the bed. This too had also reset and like the alarm was showing 0:00! Tom could not make sense of what had happened. He could not understand how both separate devices had both reset. He set the time back on them, and they both continued to work as normal. No other electrical devices in the house appeared to be affected in any way. Tom was quite spooked by what had happened, and after considering what had happened felt that something paranormal may have taken place. He was so affected by it that later in the day he went looking for a new place to live. However he did not find one suitable that he could easily move to. For a while he found it quite hard to sleep at night. This is quite an unusual incident. If just the alarm clock or just the watch had stopped it could easily be put down to a fault, but why would both of them reset on the same night? Could a surge of electricity caused the devices to stop? Perhaps, but a surge in the electric of the house would surely have only affected the alarm clock which was plugged in, not the free standing watch? It was clear weather when Tom went to bed and there was no indication of stormy weather, so it is unlikely it was caused by electrically charged air due to a storm. UFOs have often been reported to cause electrical disturbance in the vicinity, temporarily shutting off car engines and other electrical devices. There is the possibility that if a craft hovered near to Tom’s house, it could have caused both the clock and watch to reset. Obviously there is no other evidence to back this up, and it is just a theory. But due to Toms other experiences it should be taken into consideration. Out-Of-Body Experiences During a number of his paralysis experiences, Tom has felt that his consciousness has actually left his physical body. The last time this occurred was in 2010. He does not know why he did this on these occasions, he did not try to force it to happen, it just seemed to start by itself. He says that it probably only took seconds in real time but during the experience there was no concept of time. He looks at these experiences positively and is not frightened by what happened. There is no indication that these experiences were linked in any way with ET contact. While out-of-body experiences are sometimes reported by contactees, they can also be caused by hypnagogia. Considering the fact that Tom has experienced regular sleep paralysis, these experiences are probably related to that. Vision Of Greys In April 2011, close to Easter Sunday, Tom would have an experience that seemed to be linked with ET contact. It was a normal evening and he went to bed about 10 pm. At around 2 am he suddenly awoke to the familiar feeling of energy surging through him. He then felt that he dropped back off to sleep. The next moment he suddenly had a vision of 6-7 small Grey beings staring down at him. He immediately recognised them as such as he has an interest in the UFO subject for many years. The Greys looked youthful. They were small in size and had smooth pale grey coloured skin. Their eyes were completely black and almond shaped. Behind the Greys he could see the ceiling and walls of a small enclosed darkened space. Tom felt that he was not actually there with the beings but was still in his bed and had somehow made a psychic connection which allowed him to see them and them him. He sensed that they were up in a craft high above his house. He felt out of control of the situation and immediately became frightened of the beings. He sensed that they were amused by his fear of them. He does not know where this feeling came from; the beings did not make any physical expressions which portrayed this emotion. A moment later the link between him and them was broken and he jumped up in bed wide awake. It was still dark outside, but he does not remember checking the clock. He felt that his fear had been the cause of this break in the link, and that if he had not been scared he would have continued to observe them. He was fascinated by what had just occurred. This was something completely new to him, despite the fact he had felt the surge of energy through his body many times before. He settled back down to sleep, but soon felt like it was going to happen again. He was frightened by this prospect so stayed awake as long as he could. In the end he dropped off and slept normally until morning. Tom’s experience is certainly interesting, and could have a number of different explanations. Perhaps it was, as he felt, a direct link with some Greys aboard a craft in the vicinity. If so there has to be a reason for this link. Has Tom had other contact experiences through his life which he cannot currently remember? Are his sleep paralysis experiences actually linked with contact after all? He did not seem to be physically aboard the craft, so perhaps this vision was a flashback to a previous abduction experience. I have heard of contactees experiencing vivid flashbacks such as this after being taken. Sometimes this is the sole reason why they decide to be regressed – the majority of the memories of their encounter are blocked out but they get quick flashes of things which have taken place. Or could the incident have just been a vivid dream? Tom has had an interest in the UFO subject for many years so is well aware of what Greys look like. He has also had numerous dreams of UFOs before, although he wonders if these could have been something more. But this incident with the Greys certainly felt different to these previous dreams, it felt like a real experience. UFO Related Dreams Tom has occasionally had UFO related dreams. These could of course be nothing more than dreams, however due to his previous experience with the Greys they are worthy of note, and could be indicative of other experiences. On 29th March 2012 Tom awoke in the night to find that he could not move. He could hear a strange continuous low pitched sound. He suddenly had the feeling that he was being taken by a UFO, so he struggled until he managed to wake up. The experience was very frightening, and he wrote about it in his journal the following morning. Perhaps during this incident Tom experienced sleep paralysis. One of the many side effects of this can be unusual sounds, so perhaps the sound that he heard was down to this. There is however also the possibility that this was an attempted abduction which Tom seemingly managed to interrupt. While sleep paralysis can be used to explain certain aspects of contact in some experiences, it is by no means the explanation for contact, they are two very separate things, a fact sadly overlooked by some sceptical researchers into the subject. On Monday 3rd September 2012 Tom had a vivid dream of being in the back garden after dark. He could see a small golden light high up in the sky overhead which was circling around. Suddenly it descended and fell to the ground, landing to the side of him next to the garden shed. A humanoid being who appeared to be male then appeared. He grabbed Tom’s hand and told him to go with him. He panicked and made a sound, which caused him to wake up feeling a little shocked. He was safely back in his bed. Looking back at the dream, Tom says that he would have liked to have gone with the being but at the time felt too scared. It is clear that this was not taking place at that moment, but it is possible that this dream was a memory of a previous experience. Contact experiences are often blocked out from the individual’s conscious mind, but later on can come back as vivid dreams/nightmares. Conclusion In assessing whether I feel Tom is a contactee, I find it hard to say either way at this point in time. His earlier experiences certainly sound like they are down to sleep paralysis and not ET related. The surge of energy through his body, and feeling of an invisible presence, are widely known signs of sleep paralysis. However they can also occur during contact experiences prior to an abduction, so cannot be ruled out all together. The vision of the Greys that Tom saw in April 2011 is fascinating, and would usually be a good sign that contact is taking place. However the fact that Tom has had an interest in the UFO and ET subject for many years cannot be ignored, and may have contributed towards what occurred. It is possible that Tom will have other contact related experiences moving forward which will confirm that he definitely is a contactee, but for now we cannot really say for certain. I hope that Tom will remain in touch with me and let me know of any further incidents which take place. If he does then the details of these experiences will be added to this report. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 22/09/2013 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used In early September 2013 BUFOG was contacted by a gentleman from Australia who wanted to pass on details of a possible UFO sighting that was witnessed by a lady he knew from West Heath, Birmingham, who we shall call Rachel, and her young son. Although we only have limited information at present, here are the details of what took place. Sighting Overview It was around 9pm on the evening of 7th September. The weather was cloudy but dry. Due to the time of year it was quite dark. Rachel and her son were out in West Heath. She looked up into the sky and saw what appeared to be a rotating circle of glowing white round lights coming from out of a cloud. It looked like a large rounded object with lights in its base was hiding inside the cloud layer. She was startled by what she saw. Her young son was quite upset by the lights and began to cry. Rachel watched the lights for over an hour. After this extended period of time they suddenly vanished without trace. She later checked on Facebook on the B31 Voices page, where people in the local area often post messages. She found that other people had also seen the lights and had actually been posting about them while they were visible in the sky. Sighting Analysis The most likely explanation for the lights, as some of the Facebook posts elude to, is that they were a spotlight projection from a nearby event taking place in Birmingham. Sometimes these lighting displays are used to draw attention. The actual beams are usually invisible, but when it is cloudy the lights can be seen bouncing off the base of the cloud layer. This can sometimes give the impression that there is a large object hidden from view with only the lights visible. There is a club close to my house in Birmingham which sometimes uses this and it can look very impressive. There are multiple aspects of this incident which would suggest this was the explanation. First of all it was a cloudy evening and after dark, perfect conditions for the search lights to be visible. The lights are almost always in a rotating circular pattern, just as Rachel and other witnesses reported. The lights remained for a long period of time, and then suddenly vanished without trace. This would point towards an event putting the search lights on for a while and then switching them back off later on. Based on the original details provided and the many Facebook posts from other witnesses it is extremely likely that a spotlight projection was responsible for this incident, and although we do not definitely know the specific event which the lights were being used at, this case can be considered closed. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 24/09/2013 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Sighting Details It was the afternoon of Sunday 7th July 2013. Lucy and her husband Paul were outside their garden eating lunch. It was a pleasant sunny day with patchy cloud. Lucy looked up into the sky and happened to notice two objects. They appeared to be at high altitude. Lucy pointed the objects out to her husband. They initially appeared to be black in colour, but kept flashing silver, giving the impression that they were rotating and the sunlight was reflecting off them. One of the objects began moving slowly at a diagonal to the right until it was obscured from vision behind some housing. The other object moved upwards on a straight course. They then saw a third object appear from the left. It too moved upwards below the other one that was still in sight. After a short while the object which had vanished behind the houses reappeared and moved slowly left across the sky until it was hidden behind a cloud. After a couple of minutes Paul ran into the house to get the camera. Lucy  continued to observe the visible objects for a further minute. By the time Paul had come back out into the garden the objects could no longer be seen. Sighting Analysis It is hard to make any detailed analysis of what was seen due to the fact that the witness only provided these details and did not want to be contacted for further questioning. As the objects were moving slowly and did not perform any manoeuvres which would indicate intelligence, they could well have been balloons/inflatables drifting in the sky and getting caught on air currents. Due to the movement patterns observed it is clear that they were not aeroplanes, and from the description they do not sound like they were helicopters. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 26/09/2013 Sighting Details On the evening of 29th August 2013 Dan was at his house in Kingswinford. It was about 8.30pm. He glanced out of the window. It was a relatively clear night with only light cloud. Dan noticed two purple coloured lights in the sky to the East. They were moving slowly and appeared to be roughly circling each other.  It was hard to tell the exact distance of the lights but they were closer than the hill in the distance as he could see it behind them. He called his partner to the window to also see the lights. She suggested they could be lasers hitting the cloud layer at first, but soon the lights moved away from the cloud to an area of clear sky. At this point the two lights separated. One of them started to descend. As it did it changed colour and became green. Then it began moving back up again and changed back to a purple colour. As it did this the other light continued to move around in a shaky circle. The lights were visible for several minutes. Dan fetched his binoculars, but as he was trying to get one of them in focus both of the lights vanished from sight. Both him and his partner were very puzzled by what they had seen. Sighting Analysis The colours the lights were do not fit in with normal aircraft navigation lights, and due to the movement patterns observed it is unlikely that they were planes or helicopters. However at no time in the sighting did either of the objects perform any manoeuvres which would designate direct control or intelligence. This means they could have been lit objects drifting in air currents. They were unlikely to be Chinese lanterns, as these generally glow amber orange or yellow in colour. The most likely explanation for the lights is that they were two colour changing LED balloons. These are electronically lit balloons which get caught on air currents and can be set to change colours randomly or at regular intervals. Perhaps they had been launched from a celebration somewhere and were drifting up into the sky. As the lights were distant we cannot say what they definitely were, and there is the possibility that they were something more unusual. But the most logical explanation is that they were LED balloons, which drifted out of sight after several minutes. Unfortunately the witness has not responded to further enquiries so this is the only information we have at present about this intriguing case. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2013

Birmingham UFO Group Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 20/02/2012 Last Updated: 13/12/2015 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Introduction Lee first got in touch with BUFOG on 20th February 2012 to report a sighting of a glowing white orb which he and his wife had witnessed at their home in Rednal, Longbridge. After getting back to him it soon became clear that he had also had many other interesting experiences over the years, some of which suggested that he may even be a contactee. I arranged to visit him and his wife in person to talk face-to-face about his experiences. Several days later I drove out to Rednal and we spent a number of hours covering everything which had taken place. This report provides an overview of many of Lee’s experiences which appear to be UFO or contact related. Childhood Fears From about the age of 4 throughout his childhood Lee was frightened of going off to sleep in his bedroom at night. He would only be able to drop off if all the covers were pulled up around him, leaving just a small hole for breathing through. He has no recollection of anything specific taking place around this time which could have been responsible for these feelings. It is of course quite common for young children to get a fear of the dark in their room. However I feel this is worth mentioning as this is one of the common side effects f contact that contactees report time and time again. When speaking in terms of contact, it is likely that these emotions are brought on by the fact that the individual knows this is when the ETs have come for them. Perhaps Lee had an early experience which has currently been blanked from his mind. Back in the 1960’s parents would often be far less concerned about their children being outside on their own. Lee’s parents used to allow him to walk to and from his school in Cotteridge, even when it was dark due to the time of year. This journey would always take him through Cotteridge Park. He had no worries at all about walking this route on a daily basis. Aerial map of Cotteridge Park: 📷 From age 6 Lee began to experience a recurring nightmare. In this dream he would be walking through the park when suddenly a pack of wolves would appear behind him and begin to give chase. He would try to run away but his legs would not work properly and he would not move fast enough. When the wolves caught up with him the dream would end. Later on the dream changed, and instead of a pack of wolves he would see a large jester/joker face which would float towards him. This was reminiscent of Punch off a Punch and Judy show, wearing a hat with bells on. The ETs will sometimes disguise themselves using something referred to as a screen memory to mask their true appearance. They are often known to appear in a different form, especially to children. They usually appear as something familiar to the individual such as a family member, friend, pet, other animal or something else which the individual would recognise. I have heard of contact cases where these beings have appeared in the form of wolves/dogs, and other cases where they have appeared as clowns, possibly in an attempt to appear less frightening. However this sometimes has the opposite effect and the individual can get a lasting phobia as a result. Due to the open location involved I do wonder if Lee has had a contact experience here in the park, perhaps while walking too or from school on his own, an experience which led to these recurring nightmares. This would just be speculation and this may not have occurred, but I felt it was worth mentioning due to the possible links described above. Night Time Visitation When Lee was 5 years he lived with his parents and grandmother. Unfortunately around this time his father suffered from a heart attack. He survived this but afterwards was consigned to the living room of his home and used to sleep downstairs. Lee would often play cards with his father in the evening just before bed. One evening he could hear that his father was not breathing very well. His father ended the game and told him to go up to bed. During the night Lee awoke with the feeling of being poked in his back a couple of times. Behind him was just the bedroom wall. He then heard a voice say to him “Come on Lee, wake up. You know who it is”.  The voice did not appear to come from any particular location in the room, he just heard it directly inside his head. He questioned the voice, asking himself “Do I know who it is? Who would be saying that?” The next thing he was aware of, he was standing at the top of the staircase looking downwards. He could see some other men wheeling his father out in a wheelchair. His father was wearing a face mask, and Lee could see his mother waving them off. He was also aware of two figures standing either side of him holding his hands. One was holding his hand quite softly, where as the other had quite a firm grip. They appeared to be only slightly taller than himself, so would have been around 4 feet in height.  He also remembers these figures speaking to him saying something similar to “You need to see this. This is the last time you are ever going to see him.” Suddenly the view switched and he remembers moving towards his closed bedroom door and passing straight through it. He is not aware whether the figures were still there alongside him when this happened. He not only remembers the sight of this taking place, but also how it actually felt. This was all he could remember when he awoke the following morning. He went downstairs and found his mother crying and being comforted by his grandmother. He was immediately told that his father had died during the night. At hearing this dreadful news, Lee felt emotionally numb and went back upstairs. He felt like the experience during the night had “buffered” the impact of what had happened. Later on he spoke with his mother about what had taken place, and what she described matched what he had seen. He is absolutely convinced that he had been woken up on purpose to see his father for the last time. There are a number of aspects of this experience which certainly fit in with a visitation by ETs. Numerous contactees have reported being woke up by the beings prodding them, or described such feelings during abduction experiences. There are missing time elements to this experience, such as how Lee got from his bed to the top of the stairs. This is very common with contact, and the contactee will more often than not remember fragmented memories of what has taken place. The beings that Lee describes either side of him are very intriguing. Although he did not turn to look at them, he was aware that they were short in height, certainly much shorter than an adult human would be. This would fit in with the figures being Greys; the most commonly reported type of ET. In addition to this Lee says that when they spoke to him he would hear the words inside his head, it did not sound like the beings were actually audibly speaking. This again would fit in with Greys, which always talk via telepathic means. Lastly Lee then recalls actually passing through his bedroom door. This is again another common aspect of abduction experiences that take place at home. The individual is often taken through solid objects by the ETs, such as the window, wall or ceiling. I have had numerous contactees describe how this actually feels. It appears that the beings use advanced technology of some kind which allows this to take place. Because of all the above stated reasons, I feel it is certainly possible that Lee was visited by two  ETs during that night, and for whatever reason they wanted him to see his father depart for the last time, maybe to lessen the impact of his father’s death, or provide him with a lasting memory. As he did not actually look at the beings, or did but had the memory of this removed, we cannot say for certain that this is what took place, but there are many aspects which seem to back up this theory. If this was a visitation, as it appears to be, then the fact that the beings first said to Lee “You know who this is” suggests that he had previously had other experiences with these same entities. This perhaps lends weight to the unusual dreams that he had experienced for the previous two years. However the dreams appeared to be quite frightening, where as there was no fear involved with this experience. Lee felt quite comfortable with the situation he found himself in. Something In The Sky The next unusual incident which Lee can recall happening took place in 1971/72 when he was a teenager. His memory of what took place is quite blurred but he remembers leaving the house to go and meet up with a friend. It was a bright sunny day. He was walking towards Cotteridge when he suddenly noticed a big group of people all staring up into the air and pointing. The traffic also appeared to be stopped. He walked on over to see what they were looking at, but when he looked up into the sky he couldn't see anything. He then remembers looking back down and seeing a tough looking boy walk across the road towards him. He then felt himself get hit and he blacked out. When he came round he was lying on the ground surrounded by a number of adults. He remembers them helping him to his feet and asking if he was ok. His next memory was of being about a mile away in Kings Norton walking along the edge of the road. He felt extremely confused and could not fathom how he had got to the location he was now at. It has played on his mind ever since. There are a number of unanswered questions surrounding this incident. What were the people all staring at in the sky? Why had the other boy suddenly decided to walk over to Lee and then knock him out? And how had he got from that position to walking through Kings Norton? It is possible that the other boy was just nasty, or maybe thought that Lee was someone else. It is probable that the missing period of time was down to concussion from being knocked out, and that Lee had walked a mile in a daze. However what everyone was looking at remains completely unanswered. Interests and Dreams In his late teens, Lee suddenly developed an obsession with the UFO subject. He began purchasing many books and reading as much as he could about everything. He does not really know where this sudden interest in the subject came from, as he had not really paid much attention to it prior to this point. Around the same time period, he also began to have regular dreams about UFOs. He cannot really remember whether the dreams came first or whether they came after he had began looking into everything. In some of these dreams he would be visited by small ET beings. These beings would be semi-translucent and inside them Lee saw some kind of electrical energy. In other dreams the skies would be filled with craft and he was struggling to survive alongside others against a hostile invasion force. In these dreams he sees random things, and it is only when they happen for real soon afterwards that he realises they have been future predictions. While some of them have been quite random, others have been very specific and clearly of real life incidents. They have included deaths of prominent figures. He has also had dreams of accidents from time to time. As an example, in his early 20s Lee used to work at Cadburys, and every day would walk to and from work along Lyndon Road. One night he had a dream in which a car crashed on the road and flipped over upside down ending up in a garden. Three days later that exact thing took place, and he realised he had previously dreamt of it. The dreams that Lee had about UFOs and beings did not seem to relate to any known real life incidents. Therefore it is possible that they were simply a side effect of his obsessive research into the subject. However the precognitive dreams that Lee continues to have are much more interesting. Many contactees report having precognitive abilities, and I have investigated other cases where people have reported exactly the same thing. Just as with Lee’s dreams, these tend to usually be completely random events. The fact that Lee has mentioned having such dreams is certainly significant and worthy of mention. He also regularly experiences night terrors, where he wakes up in the middle of the night absolutely terrified.  Sometimes he will see black shapes moving around in front of him, and when he opens his eyes they are still there for a brief moment. Other times he will shout out and punch out at something unknown in front of him until his wife manages to wake him up. While it is of course possible for these to just be bad dreams and hallucinations brought on by waking suddenly from dreams, again they may have links with contact so should not be ignored. Tired of UFOs In recent years Lee has looked into the UFO subject and realised the links that some of his experiences have had with it. However he says that whenever he starts looking up information on the subject, or even talking about it, he begins to feel extremely fatigued. He has noted that this only happens with this subject, if he is checking out anything else in depth he does not experience these feelings. You could suggest that this was just down to boredom; however this would not be correct at all, because Lee is very interested in the subject. Contactees often report experiencing unusual emotions of one kind or another when looking at information relating to UFOs or ETs. Sometimes they get obsessed with the subject, as mentioned previously in this report. Other times they get an extreme aversion to it, especially pictures of the beings themselves. This is completely understandable as it will sometimes bring back the feelings of fear or panic that they have gone through during their experiences. Perhaps the feelings of tiredness that Lee experiences is something trying to stop him from looking into the subject, or maybe an over familiarity with it. These are just speculations, nothing more. Orbs Around The Home On a number of occasions Lee has seen small white coloured orbs moving around his house in Rednal. They are usually seen in the corner of his eye. They just seem to appear and quickly drift along a short distance above the floor. He has seen them during the day-time, and also at night while lying in bed. We cannot verify at this time whether or not these are merely down to an issue with his sight, or something more unusual. However many experiencers report seeing glowing orbs around their home, so there does seem to be some link with contact. What these orbs that are reported actually are is jet to be determined, although I feel they may be some kind of energy manifestation. The fact that Lee occasionally sees these may be further evidence that he is a contactee. Golden Disc In 2000 Lee went on holiday with his family to Newquay in Cornwall. They were staying at Trevella Holiday Park in a tent. One evening he was sat outside the tent star gazing. It was a very clear and still evening, and the stars were fully visible. It had not been visible due to the angle it was at, but it turned on its axis catching the moonlight. It appeared as a golden-brass like colour. Lee feels that it was at very high altitude and was extremely large in size. The object continued to rotate until it had turned 180 degrees, at which point it no longer caught the light and so vanished into the darkness. Lee compares the object to a penny turning over from one side to the other. He was astounded at what he had just witnessed. He told his wife about it and continued to watch the sky, but the object did not make a reappearance. Lee feels that this was a very large disc-shaped craft of some kind, perhaps even a “mother ship”. While this is indeed possible, and cannot be ruled out, there are other more mundane explanations that must also be considered. There is the possibility that the object was a large inflatable drifting across the sky, and that the object was a lot closer than it appeared to be. When viewing objects in the night sky it is often very hard to accurately judge their altitude as there is no point of reference. The object was clearly not a normal aircraft or helicopter, and it is very unlikely to have been a meteorite. Whatever the actual identity of the object, it captured Lee’s imagination and ignited his interest in the UFO subject. Glowing Lights Soon after his sighting in Newquay, Lee decided to purchase an LED torch to shine up into the sky to try and attract attention. He began standing out in the back garden sky watching, while using the torch to trace out various patterns or flash it on and off. Sometimes it would be just him outside, on other occasions he was also joined by his wife Madeline. One evening in 2008/2009 he and Madeline had been standing outside for about an hour. He asked Madeline to go back inside and fetch the binoculars as he realised he hadn't brought them out. Soon after she had gone inside, Lee suddenly noticed a triangle of three white lights appear to the North East. They appeared to be several hundred feet high. These lights proceeded to swoop downward in a descending arc towards his location at a fast speed. As they did so, the three lights began swapping switching on and off fast, while still retaining their triangular formation. There was no regular discernible pattern to how they were switching on and off. This gave the impression that they were dancing. The lights went past and began heading off to the South West. As they did, Madeline came back outside with the binoculars. Lee diverted her attention to the lights. She glanced up and saw them, but then quickly looked away, frightened at what she was seeing. The lights continued moving away until they were lost from sight. In total they had only been visible for several seconds. During this time they had moved from one side of the sky to the other, so they were clearly moving at a very fast speed, much faster than an aircraft would move at. Lee exclaimed “Did you see that?” His wife replied that she had seen “something”.  Obviously she had not got as good a look at the lights as Lee had. Then Lee noticed something else out of the corner of his eye, coming from the direction the triangle of lights had moved off in. He and his wife watched as a long string of white lights with a split formation at the front flew silently across the sky. Initially they were moving on a level course, but then suddenly began to ascend until they were lost from sight. Once again they were only visible for a few seconds, and like the triangle pattern of lights were moving extremely fast. However both of these explanations seem very unlikely given the facts of what took place. The lights in both formations were white, so were unlikely to have been lanterns, as these usually glow amber orange/yellow. The lights were all constantly bright and did not flicker at all. Lee knows exactly what Chinese lanterns look like in the night sky, and says that these were definitely something else. They were moving with intent and appeared to be under control. LED balloons are often white, so this would match the appearance of the lights. However both the triangular formation and the string of lights were moving much too fast to have been lit balloons drifting on air currents. They were both only visible for several seconds, during which they travelled right across the sky. After speaking with Lee in great detail about what was observed, I am convinced that this was something out of the ordinary. However there did not appear to be any direct interaction, so it is unlikely this sighting was related to contact. Yellow Beam Soon after the sighting of the white lights, Lee had another sighting of something very different. It was after dark and he went to close the net curtain on his son’s bedroom window. As he did so he glanced outside. Suddenly what appeared to be a very straight edged bright yellow laser-like beam shot towards his location from the North, and vanished over the top of the house. It appeared to have a definite start and end to it rather than be a continuous line across the sky, and be travelling on a course rather than just switching on and back off again. It was only visible for a moment but was extremely clear and well defined. Witness drawing showing the yellow beam appearing over the trees in the back garden: 📷 The most obvious mundane explanation for this sighting is that the beam was a laser fired from a nearby location. However there are a number of things that do not fit this explanation. Lasers tend to be green or red in colour usually. While yellow lasers do exist they tend to not be very powerful or go for long distances. This doesn’t fit Lee’s description as he said it was very bright and defined. If the beam was a laser from a nearby location then it would be expected to have been seen going up into the sky at an angle from a point on the ground. However the beam appeared to be horizontal and was higher than the roof of the house. There are no nightclubs in the area which the beam could have been shone from, and night clubs are not allowed to use laser displays due to the risk of blinding people. Also the way in which the beam appeared to be moving and have a start and end point to it again does not fit with a laser, as these appear right across the skyline instantly. If it wasn’t a laser then what else could it have been? It appeared too straight edged to have been a search light, and there are no telephone wires over the house which could have been caught in a passing vehicle’s headlights. Strangely this is not the only case I have heard of where a bright yellow beam was seen. In 1987 a man in Rowley Regis saw something very similar to what Lee described, although in this case the beam did remain constantly lit for a period of time. Could the two incidents be related in some way? There is a seperate case report on this incident. Silver and Red UFO In the summer of 2010 Lee and Madeline were out in the back garden. It was a clear and sunny but breezy day. Lee happened to glance up into the sky visible in the gap between his and the neighbouring house. In the distance he noticed what appeared to be two silver metallic oval-shapes on top of one another with a red glowing area at the centre between them. It looked fuzzy and was surrounded by a reddish glow. He initially assumed it must be a novelty balloon. However it was completely stationary in the sky. If it had been a balloon it would have drifted in the breeze that was blowing. Lee got his binoculars out to take a closer look at the object but couldn’t quite bring it into focus. It appeared to be quite distant and also quite large in size. Witness drawing of the UFO, including a close up of how it appeared: 📷 The object remained completely motionless for around 20 minutes. Lee and his wife continued to watch it for the duration. Then suddenly without warning it appeared to fade and vanish. There were no clouds nearby which it could have been hidden behind, it was just gone. When I went to visit Lee at his house I also had the chance to speak with Madeline about this incident, and she confirmed everything which had been witnessed. There is no reasonable mundane explanation that I can think of for this object. It certainly appeared solid and was shimmering in the sunlight, so it is unlikely it was a mirage or reflection of light. It does not sound anything like how a distant helicopter would appear. Also we should take into account that the house is under a flight path, so Lee and Madeline are both used to seeing all sorts of aircraft and helicopters both at day and night. It is very unlikely that it was some kind of illuminated inflatable, as this would certainly have drifted during the 20 minutes that it was observed for. I would have suggested an unusual radio controlled model if it wasn’t for the fact that the object suddenly vanished. Lee is certain that it didn't just fly off into the distance until out of sight, he did not see the object change size or angle at all. Could this be a genuine sighting of an ET craft in broad daylight? If so then perhaps the reason that he could not focus properly on the object was because it was inside an energy field of some kind. There have been many UFO sightings where such a field has been observed, and it can often make the craft look distorted or blurred. As the sighting took place in the day time perhaps there were other witnesses who have yet to come forward. White Sphere Lee’s most recent UFO sighting occurred on 18 February 2012. It was 10.49 pm and completely dark outside. It was a clear and still night. Lee was sitting on his bed. He glanced up out of the bedroom window. As he did, a glowing white ball of light came into view at the left edge of the window. It was to the West of his location but quite close, probably within half a mile. It moved swiftly across the view from the window heading towards the North, and was soon lost from sight. It only took a couple of seconds to do this, so was moving at quite a fast speed. This speed of movement caused it to look slightly oval in shape, but there was no trail behind it. Lee jumped up off the bed and ran to the window but it had gone. Madeline was also in the room at the time and had witnessed the object in her peripheral vision. The velocity was much too fast to have been an LED balloon or Chinese lantern drifting on an air current, or even an aircraft or helicopter. If it had been an aircraft of some kind then Lee is sure he would have seen other navigation lights on it, but there were none. The object was too slow to have been a meteorite. Lee estimates the object was at least as big as a car, possibly larger. Flying Triangle On the evening of 1st November 2015. Lee, his wife Madeline and son Gavin were out looking up at the stars. It was a clear moonlit night. At approximately 9.45pm Gavin suddenly excitedly shouted out that there was an unusual object approaching from the South South East and visible between the chimneys of the neighbouring house. At the time Madeline was inside making a hot drink, but Lee immediately looked to see what his son was referring to. It looked like a black triangular shaped object with a bright white oval-shaped light at each corner. It was hard to judge the object’s distance or speed as there was no point of reference, but Lee feels that it was flying lower than a jumbo jet would fly at, and was of a significantly large size. It appeared to be completely silent, although this may have been due to its altitude. A moment later Madeline joined them in the garden. All the witnesses watched the UFO fly overhead and continued onward to the North North West on a level and straight course in the direction of Halesowen. After about 10 seconds it faded into the distance and was no longer visible. Unfortunately they had no camera with them at the time, and the object was not visible for long enough to go and fetch one. The witnesses were both shocked and excited by what they had seen and remained outside in the hope that the object would return. It did not, but soon afterwards some apparently unusual plane activity began in the area. First of all a low altitude conventional aircraft appeared in the sky from the East and proceeded to circle over the house three consecutive times before heading off to the North East. Gavin jokingly remarked that they could be “checking up on them”. This was followed by three other aircraft at higher altitude. These all arrived from the South West and headed off in the direction the UFO had travelled. There were two further fly-bys of other aircraft. The family remained outside for a further 20 minutes surveying the sky but no further activity took place. This is a fascinating multiple witness sighting of what appears to have been a “classic” Flying Triangle UFO.  Lee is convinced that it was not a conventional aircraft of any kind. The house lies under a flight path from Birmingham International Airport, so he is extremely used to seeing aircraft of various kinds passing overhead, and knows what they look like after dark. The object did not perform any manoeuvres which would indicate it was ET in origin, but it certainly appeared to be under control and flying at quite a fast speed. As the three lights held formation for the duration of the sighting it is clear they were all parts of the same object. This, combined with their appearance and colour, puts out of the question that they were a number of Chinese lanterns or other lit inflatables. Conclusion As you can see Lee has had many fascinating and unusual experiences, some of which were also witnessed by his wife and son. However when looking at the case from a contact perspective, it is quite hard to say whether Lee is a contactee or not. Other than the visitation the night his father died, he has not had any other experiences which have directly involved beings. He has no recollected memories of being abducted, and the only missing time experience he has had could well have been as a result of being dazed after being knocked unconscious. So while there is not much evidence that he is an abductee, the night time visitation experience is very interesting and has some impressive aspects to it. He has also reported many different things which are commonly spoken of by contactees – multiple UFO sightings, glowing orbs, unusual recurring nightmares and particular fears and obsessions. Some of these incidents may in some way be linked to his visitation experience. Maybe in due course Lee will have further experiences which will confirm this. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2015

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Last Updated: 16/01/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used and certain experiences ommitted Regression Analysis As you can see, the regression went very well, and Morgane was able to not only recount in detail what she was already aware of, but also remembered many additional memories about what took place. It appears that after heading to bed, Morgane was abducted. This happened after she got back into bed once she had finished her evening prayers. It is unknown how much time went by before the experience began. Morgane described the ceiling of her room as both glowing and having a molten appearance. I feel that this was likely to be a beam from the craft which was penetrating the roof of her house. This beam was used to transport her to the craft. Similar to many other cases Morgane described lifting up into the air out of her bed. She then spoke of feeling a sticky glue-like sensation all around her. I believe that at this point she was describing actually passing through the roof of her room and house. I have had several other contactees describe exactly the same sensation. How this is done is still a mystery at present, and is one of the many fascinating aspects of the contact phenomena. After leaving the confines of her house, Morgane was taken high up into the sky. She described seeing her town below her, and seemed to be moving very rapidly on a pre-determined course. She described hearing the sound of the wind rushing past her, an indicator that this was a real experience. It ended with her approaching and then entering the craft, which appeared to her as a glowing light. She did not recollect how she actually entered the craft (this part of the experience is often completely blocked out). She found herself inside a darkened room in the base of the craft. She was staring out of a window and watching the view of the ground far below, meaning that at this point of the experience at least, the craft was still in Earth’s atmosphere. At this point a Nordic being approached her and stood at her left side. The fact that Morgane referred to this being as “a friend” suggests that this was not the first time she had met him, and that she has had other experiences with these beings prior to this one, experiences that she cannot currently remember. The Nordic led her up a corridor into the main body of the craft. She was immediately taken to one of the many adjoining side rooms, after which the examination procedure you have already read about took place. Unfortunately we are still no clearer as to exactly why they opened up Morgane’s chest and what may have been placed inside of her. It is possible that it was an implant, maybe one which still exists today. Similar instruments to those which the Nordics used on Morgane have been described before in other cases, and the markings that these instruments left on her again fit in with other cases. The circle of dots is commonly referred to as a cookie cutter marking. Remember that when Morgane had this experience she had not looked into ET contact at all, so this is further evidence that her experience was genuine. The cup that was offered to Morgane is another interesting aspect of the case. Again it is an aspect which has been reported in other contact experiences, including two other cases I have directly looked into. It is unknown why the cup was given to her. Perhaps it was to stop her getting dehydrated. Or maybe there was another unknown reason behind it. The “Galactic Federation” that the Nordics told Morgane about has also been referred to in other cases. Although the idea of numerous ET races forming a large scale alliance may sound like the stuff of sci-fi stories, it does also make logical sense. From the many reported and documented contact cases it is clear that there are numerous distinct ET species working alongside each other towards common goals. Although Morgane only saw Nordic types, others have seen Nordics working alongside other races such as the Greys and the Reptilians. After the examination was over, Morgane was then led back out into the main body of the craft. There is an unusual discrepancy at this point, one which was flagged up to me by Morgane herself after her regression. Prior to the regression she remembered seeing many people dressed in white standing in the central area of the craft. However during the regression she could not see these for whatever reason. She saw other people on the far side of the craft on the other raised ramp, but the central area appeared to be empty. This puzzled Morgane and she questioned why she did not see the humans she had initially remembered seeing. It is hard to say why this may have been the case. Certainly what she described under regression appears to be what actually happened, as she recounted many details about the experience which fitted in with what she consciously remembered beforehand. Perhaps for some reason the image of the humans in white was blanked out from her memory while being regressed. Or maybe it had been implanted as a screen memory for some reason, and under hypnosis she saw a true rendition of events. It is hard to say either way. Another witness drawing of the main body of the craft: 📷 Everything remembered from this point onward was only recalled under regression, prior to this she had no memory of what happened. It is common for contactees to only have partial recollection of their experiences, often nearly all the memories are blocked out. It is interesting that Morgane had a clear recollection up to this moment but then no memory of anything happening afterwards. Perhaps this was done on purpose – maybe the ETs were happy for her to remember some of the experience but not all of it. Morgane was taken along the raised ramp towards a large rounded arch at one end of the hall. When they reached this, Morgane realised that the opening was covered in a screen made from a lazer-like light. They stepped through this screen and beyond it was another room which appeared to be at the front of the craft. Here she met another Nordic who was specifically interested in learning about the languages and religions of the Earth. What this being said to her provides us with a fascinating insight into one of the reasons, possibly the main reason, why the Nordics are visiting our planet. Next another being approached Morgane, one which she had a close connection with. It was a hybrid - half human half Nordic. Morgane sensed this about the being, although it looked completely human. It is common for contactees to see hybrids during their experiences, and it is clear that the ETs are experimenting with DNA and creating genetic mixes. The connection that Morgane felt to this being suggests that it was related to her directly. There are other points  which I am not able to disclose at present that reinforce this possibility. After meeting with this hybrid being, she was then taken to another room with a large screen inside and several other hybrids. The screen appeared to be showing the hybrids pictures, teaching them information about Earth. It is a possibility that it was teaching them knowledge needed for them to integrate with human society. Some people believe that this is one of the aims of the hybrid breeding program. If the beings looked completely human there is no reason why they would not be able to walk amongst us undetected. This would more than likely be done for information gathering rather than malicious purposes. Another Nordic being then entered the room. Morgane was told that she could not stay and would have to return home. Unfortunately we do not have any further information on Morgane’s return as the regression had reached its maximum allocated time of 90 minutes, so it was brought to a close. The hypnotherapist I now work with believes that this is the longest an individual regression should be allowed to continue for, so I went along with her wishes. From her memories of the experience, Morgane was able to draw estimated top down diagrams showing the layout of the various levels of the craft she was aboard. It was evening time and they witnessed these orbs travelling across the sky on a straight path. They were an equal distance apart from each other. They appeared to be at quite low altitude and Nicola felt that they were huge in size, much larger than aeroplanes. Their appearance and the way in which they were moving certainly fits in with this explanation. At a distance it is sometimes hard to accurately judge the size of aerial objects, and lanterns can often appear to be much bigger than they in fact are because of the brightness of the glow emanating from them. At the time none of the witnesses were familiar with how lanterns looked, so it is easy to see how unusual this sight could have appeared. However to counteract this explanation, Morgane says that the objects were much too large to have been lanterns, and travelled in too regular a formation. Also she says that they were not glowing, but were orange-red in colour. The Red Dot On an evening in 1989, Morgane was having a chat with her eldest daughter. They were in her daughter’s room. Her daughter was lying in bed and Morgane was sat at her side. They were speaking about spiritual topics such as the virtue of kindness. The lights were out in the room and it was quite dark. Suddenly on the other side of the room a glowing red pinpoint of light appeared. It seemed to be about 1.3 metres off the floor and hovering in mid air rather. It then slowly moved across the room towards them and came to rest quite near to them at the same height. Her daughter asked her if she could see it, and Morgane replied that she could. She asked Morgane what it was. Morgane replied with what she believed at the time. She said “It’s some form of consciousness. It’s here because we are talking of profound things. It is listening and telling us that we are on the right path”.  After a short while the light suddenly vanished. Since reading into contact, Morgane wonders if it was somehow related to her contact experiences. This is an interesting experience, and could have been ET related. The fact that it was seen by both Morgane and her daughter shows that it was definitely present. Contactees often speak of seeing unidentified orbs of light in their proximity. Could this have been caused by energy of some kind manifesting itself? Laser pointers make red points of intense light. I initially considered whether it was someone shining one of these through the bedroom window. However firstly the curtains of the room were drawn as Morgane’s daughter was preparing to go to sleep. Also the light appeared to be hovering in the air; it was not on or near to any surfaces in the room. Therefore I feel that this was probably not the reason behind the light. Men In Black One sunny day in the summer of 1990, Morgane noticed a black Rolls Royce parked right outside her kitchen window. There was a black haired man wearing a dark suit sitting in the front seat. He was not moving or doing anything. She was too frightened to go outside and ask what the man was doing there. The children were also scared and suggested that she call someone, but she did not. Instead Morgane and the children went upstairs and they watched the car out of an upstairs window. The car remained outside for about 4 hours. The really strange thing was that the man in the driver’s seat did nothing for this whole time. He didn’t even move, he just sat there motionless. Eventually the car drove away. Morgane has read about the Men In Black and their direct relation to contact experiences, and wonders whether this was the explanation behind the experience. This is a possibility considering the appearance of both the car and the driver. Perhaps he was scanning Morgane in some way. But if so there was no indication of this. It is unlikely he was using a listening device as the timing of the experience did not relate to anything in particular; it was just a normal summer’s day. There is a possibility that the man was a chauffeur. Perhaps he was waiting for someone else entirely, and had accidentally arrived at the wrong address. However it does seem unlikely that he would remain sitting in the car for 4 hours without doing anything or coming to the front door, and then suddenly leave after this time. Unexplained Sound was late evening on a day in the spring of 2008. Morgane was in her bedroom but not in bed. Suddenly she heard a high pitched sound begin. It was quite quiet at first but certainly noticeable. She could not detect the direction of the source of the noise. She began to search around the room trying to find out what was causing it. The sound steadily got louder and louder. It appeared to be all around her, filling the room. It was so loud that Morgane felt it was affecting her balance and causing damage to her inner ear. It got so loud that she began to panic and ran downstairs. As soon as she was out of the room the noise started to diminish, and got lower as she moved further away. It was definitely coming from within the room rather than elsewhere in the house. Then without warning it suddenly ceased all together. Morgane went outside and told her husband what had just happened. He could not explain what had caused the noise, and had not heard it himself. Morgane was frightened about what had just happened. After the experience Morgane could not stand going near to any radars or telephone relays. When she tried her ears would start to ring and she would feel herself losing balance again. This lasted for about 5 days before settling down. She did not go to her GP about this as she felt they would try to pin it down to a medical explanation, and she felt certain that it was something else. Morgane wonders if the sound she heard was related to contact. Contactees do often suffer from very sensitive hearing and are sometimes able to pick up sounds that are inaudible to most other individuals. What does seem apparent is that the noise was related to something taking place in the particular upstairs room. If it had been something scanning Morgane in some way, surely the noise would have remained loud not diminished as she moved away from the room? Perhaps it was something that had been targeted to that particular location because of Morgane’s presence? If so could it have had malicious intent?  Or did it have a more mundane explanation, such as an electrical malfunction of some kind? It is unlikely we will ever know for sure. Disc UFOs At 12.20am on 28th May 2011 Morgane was lying in bed. She peered out of the roof window in her room. There was a clear night sky above. Suddenly she noticed two strange objects crossing the sky heading in a Westerly direction. They appeared to be bigger than an aeroplane and had red and white flashing lights. They were completely silent. The objects looked like flattened discs, metallic in colour. They were flying over some forested hills, and were just above the height of the trees. Intrigued Morgane got up out of bed to continue watching the objects. When she looked outside again she could see the object to the South of her property. They were now hovering completely still in the sky. She called her husband who then also watched the UFOs. They both felt that it was something out of the ordinary. Both Morgane and her husband are aware of what aircraft look like after dark, but were convinced this was something else. After about 10 minutes one of the objects rose directly upward, then moved back off to the East from where it had came. The second object remained for a short while longer then suddenly vanished without trace. Checking Up? It was around 9pm on 30th September 2011, within a week of Morgane’s regression in Birmingham. She and Arthur were in a taxi travelling along Connaught Gardens in Palmers Green, London. They were both sitting on the back seat, with Arthur behind the driver. There was not many other cars around, at least on the road they were currently on. The weather was clear, and it had been a warm day. Aerial map of Connaught Gardens: 📷 Arthur was looking out of the window at the sky and stars off to the right of the car. Suddenly he noticed something up in the sky. It appeared to be a large red coloured sphere with red, blue and yellow lights positioned around it which were not flashing. It looked to be at least 100 metres high in the air. He exclaimed “What is this?” Unfortunately Morgane could not lean across far enough to see the object from her position in the car. They did not ask the taxi driver to stop. The object appeared to be hovering stationary. Arthur only saw it a few seconds before it was lost from sight. A bit further down the road he once again caught another glimpse of it, again for several seconds. After this it was lost from sight behind the buildings and nearby trees. Arthur has no idea of what he saw, but is sure that he had not seen anything like it before. He was not surprised that something unusual could be seen over the capital of the UK. He and Morgane wonder whether it was connected to her visit to the UK. Perhaps the ETs were checking up on them. Or perhaps it was completely un-related. The object that Arthur saw certainly does not sound like a conventional aircraft or helicopter. Perhaps it was a large LED balloon, or electronically lit advertising balloon of some kind.  If it was mundane, this is the most likely explanation for what it could have been. However it is interesting that this sighting occurred within a week of Morgane’s regression. This could have just been a coincidence of course, but there is still the possibility that it was not, and that the ETs were aware of what was taking place. Conclusion Morgane has had some fascinating experiences, and I feel she is certainly an ET contactee. Although she can only remember a single abduction experience at present, what we learnt in the regression suggests that she has had other prior contact with the Nordics which she cannot currently recollect. There are other ET related experiences she has had which I am not able to disclose. The experience aboard the Nordic craft is incredibly detailed and has many interesting aspects. This was not a “typical” abduction experience – not only could she move freely aboard the craft, she was also taken to different locations within it. The ETs appeared to trust her to some degree, and this trust was justified as Morgane was not frightened and did not react violently towards them in any way. She found the experience a positive one, and hopes to one day have the chance to meet the beings again. Her and her family’s UFO sightings are also interesting, although none of them appear to involve direct interaction. Perhaps they were observing her at a distance; this is of course impossible to say for sure. I feel sure that not only are Morgane’s experiences far from over, but that our paths will surely cross again in the future. She already has plans for further regression sessions, and if deemed appropriate the results of these may well be added to this report. I would lastly like to thank Morgane and her husband for spending the time, money and effort to come across to the UK for the regression. The fact that they did this in the first place should not be overlooked by anyone who may doubt the authenticity of this case.
