Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 18/05/2025 Last Updated: 15/10/2026 In March 2025 I was contacted by a man named Gary Freeman via the BUFOG website to inform us about a historical UFO/UAP sighting he and his wife at the time Suzanne had. This report covers what took place. Sighting Details On the evening of 10th October 1990 Gary and Suzanne drove to the NEC for a Billy Joel concert. After the show they walked back to their car and got back on the road to head for home, with Gary driving and Suzanne in the passenger seat. It was a mild and dry night. Gary cannot recall whether it was cloudy or not. They began heading North West along the M6 motorway. At approximately 11.30pm they were between Junctions 8 and 9 close to the RAC rescue centre, RAC Bescot. Due to the time of night there was only very light traffic on the road. Aerial map of M6 indicating the position the witnesses were at Photograph of the M6 around where the incident took place Gary was checking the left side mirror when suddenly through the passenger window he saw a brightly glowing white cigar-shaped object appear in the sky to the South West at an elevation of approximately 45 degrees. It reminded him of a fluorescent light tube. He pointed it out to Suzanne. Photograph of the sighting location in the direction the UFO was situated The object was stationary and positioned at a sharp angle, at roughly 10 o’clock position. It was hard to judge how far away it was, but it looked quite large in size, about 50% of the width of the window. They both stared at it while continuing to drive along the motorway. Mock up of the UFO based on witness description After about 10 seconds it suddenly began shrinking down to the size of a star, then disappeared. Neither of them could explain what they had just witnessed. They discussed what it could have been as they continued their drive home. The following morning Gary mentioned the sighting to his work colleagues. However they did not seem to be surprised. Some girls in the office informed him that the BBC had reported on the morning radio multiple UFO sightings around the Birmingham area on the previous night. Gary is unsure whether the other objects reported by people looked the same as what he and Suzanne had seen. Sighting Analysis Due to the shape and apparent size of the object seen this is certainly an intriguing sighting. Due to the proximity of the sighting location to Birmingham International Airport (roughly 5 miles away) I asked Gary whether he felt it may have been an aircraft with its landing lights on. He does not believe this was the case because he has previously lived close to Manchester and Liverpool airports so is familiar with how planes look at a distance after dark. Aerial map showing the sighting location (A) and Birmingham International Airport (B) In addition to Gary’s familiarity with aircraft, there are other reasons for why it was unlikely to be a plane. If it was a plane, the sharp angle of the object in the sky means that it would have had to have been performing a turn. However it appeared stationary for the entire duration of the sighting. If it was turning in the sky, some movement would surely have been noticeable within the ten seconds it was observed for? Also even though the bright landing lights of a plane can obscure other navigation lights at a distance, if it was plane it would have had to have been quite close to have taken up half the width of the passenger window in the sky. If it was close, other red and green lights or white strobe lights would have been visible to the witnesses. It was the wrong shape for a stationary helicopter, and once again other navigation lights would have been noticeable. Even though it appeared to be within the atmosphere, we must consider objects out in orbit. Gary cannot recall whether it was a clear night or not. However it was too large and the wrong shape for a satellite moving towards them and catching the sun’s rays temporarily. Meteorites are only visible for a few seconds at most so cannot be the explanation. Nor could it have been the International Space Station as this was not in orbit until 1998. A large lit inflatable would have remained visible in the sky. The sighting obviously occurred decades before drones were commercially available so this possibility can also be discounted. With alternative explanations addressed, there remains the possibility that the object was a genuine advanced craft of possible non-human origin. I have investigated many cases of glowing cigar-shaped objects before. We will likely never know whether the other sightings reported by the BBC were of the same/similar objects, but this cannot be ruled out. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2026

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 15/10/2026 In March 2015 a man from Worcester reached out to Worcester News to report a black cylindrical UFO he had both seen and captured on video. I analysed the testimony and video and determined that the object was most likely a distant solar airship. The newspaper released a second article covering my analysis and conclusion on 2nd April: https://www.worcesternews.co.uk/news/12869112.alien-investigator-sheds-light-on-worcester-ufo-sighting/ In September 2023 I was contacted by a man named Richard Hull via our website’s contact form. He had read the second Worcester News article, and claimed to have seen a similar object decades earlier. I reached out to him via E-Mail to discuss the incident in more depth. Sighting Details Richard cannot recollect exactly when the sighting occurred, but says it was around the “Warminster Thing” era (referring to the famous series of UFO sightings and other anomalous phenomena which occurred around Warminster in Wiltshire in the mid-60s to early 70s) He says that he was around 11 years old at the time. He and his sister were staying with their grandparents on 7 Avon Road, Worcester. It would have been either June/July time or around Christmas as these were the times of year they would have visited. During the night Richard was awoken by something which sounded like someone continuously dragging a tree along the road (He did not check a clock so is unsure of exactly what time of night). His sister did not stir from her sleep and he decided not to wake her up. His bed was aligned alongside the bedroom window. He sat up, opened the curtains, and looked out of the window to see what was going on. Witness drawing of an overhead map of the bedroom It was a clear night, with no mist or rain. There appeared to be no pedestrians around due to the time. There was nothing visible down at ground level, but ahead of him around 130 feet away from the property at an elevation of 35 degrees he saw a black coloured cylindrical/cigar shaped object, with squared off ends and what looked like round portholes along it emitting yellow coloured light. It was quite low down, Richard estimates about 90 feet up. It seemed quite sizeable, about 90 feet across if it was at the position it appeared to be. Witness drawing of the UFO It soon became obvious that the object was slowly moving. It was slowly turning, ascending and moving away from his location. Richard watched it for about 4 minutes. As it slowly turned away he looked at the furthest away 'porthole' expecting to see a bulkhead, but there was nothing, just yellow light. Eventually it vanished into the distance and was no longer visible due to the darkness. As it moved away the dragging sound also dispersed. After it had gone he called out for his grandparents and told them what he had seen, but they didn’t believe him. As it was the middle of the night he eventually settled back down and went off to sleep. Sighting Analysis This is a fascinating sighting, especially considering when it took place. As the dragging sound seemed to disperse along with the object it seems clear that it was the object making the noise. In 2015 I believed the object reported to the Worcester News was a solar airship because of its colour, shape, apparent size and movement patterns. However this clearly was not the explanation for what Richard saw. Firstly, solar airships were not available back in the 1960s, they are much more recent invention. The glowing portholes along the object rules out an inflatable as the explanation. Lastly, an inflatable would have been silent, not make the strange dragging sound which was heard by the witness. The same arguments apply to a novelty hot air balloon, and this would also be required to hang a flashing safety light from the basket after dark, which was clearly not seen by the witness. The object was not a normal aircraft or helicopter. Its appearance. lighting and the sound it was making are all completely different. While some kind of specially constructed model cannot be ruled out, as the object did not perform any advanced manoeuvres, it seemed quite large in size, and you would also have to question why someone would fly such a model in the middle of the night with very little chance of it being seen by anyone. There is certainly the possibility that this was a genuine sighting of an advanced craft of some kind, potentially non-human in origin. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2026

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 14/10/2026 In May 2024 a man named Oscar got in touch via the BUFOG website sightings report form to report some unusual objects he had witnessed several nights earlier. He mentioned that he had experienced other previous sightings but this was the first time he had decided to get in touch as he had only become aware of the existence of Birmingham UFO Group recently. Sighting Details At 10:50pm on the evening of 19th May 2024 Oscar was out of a roof hatch in the loft of his flat on Woodside Close, Walsall. It was a very clear night, with a ¾ moon, which made the sky appear quite light. Aerial map of Woodside Close He noticed a slow moving star-like orb of white light slowly come into view. Initially he thought it was a trick of the eye, but he continued to watch and confirmed that it was indeed moving slowly on a North Eastern course. Suddenly the object changed course and began moving West. He realised at this point it could not be a satellite or the International Space Station. His hair began to stand up on end as he wondered what it could be. After a number of seconds it halted again, then began to move South West. Again after a number of seconds it once again halted, and then faded out. Oscar did wonder whether the object had been a distant drone. He says that a local drone club occasionally meets up in a location visible to him. But he was not certain, something seemed odd about it. He thought to himself “Thanks for that, but would be nice to see something more convincing.” A couple of minutes later another white orb of light again appeared in the same position that the first had appeared. It looked identical, but this time moved to the North in a meandering manner, almost like how an eel swims. It rose very high in the sky and then moved Westward quite a distance. He turned to continue watching it. Suddenly it halted for several seconds. Then without warning it instantly increased in acceleration and shot off extremely fast to the South West on a straight course! As it went it faded out. Seconds later a very bright blue coloured light again appeared in front of him. At the same time he began to hear a loud rumbling sound, which seemed to be coming from the object. He initially assumed it was a helicopter (despite the fact that helicopters do not have any blue navigation lights). It was travelling eastward. He then noticed an aeroplane travelling in the opposite direction. It almost looked like they were going to collide. As he kept watching the noise got louder and he realised it sounded more like the jet engine of an aeroplane than a helicopter. It was also travelling much faster than a plane would usually fly at. It seemed to pass beneath the other aircraft, and as it passed by he saw the silhouette of a jet. As it moved away to the East he realised that the blue colour was the flames of an afterburner. He wondered if what he was watching was the attempted intercept of the orb he had previously seen. Thinking back to what had happened and the speed the second object had left the vicinity, Oscar said that it left him feeling “completed baffled and quite emotional to be honest.” Sighting Analysis Although the witness did not manage to capture any photographs or video footage of what took place, I have no reason to doubt its authenticity. Oscar comes across as rational and honest in the way he has reported the incident, and has clearly considered mundane explanations himself. By his own acknowledgemet he is experienced at looking at the night sky so would be used to seeing a variety of aerial objects after dark at different distances. Looking into drone clubs in Walsall, it is likely that Oscar was referring to Grey Arrows Drone Club, who regularly meet up at Barr Beacon North car park, several miles East of Woodside Close. Aerial map indicating Woodside Close (A) and Barr Beacon North car park (B) Google AI confirms that the Grey Arrows Drone Club did not meet at Barr Beacon on the date of the incident: However, it is possible that the first orb which Oscar saw was a privately flown drone, this cannot be completely ruled out. The manoeuvres it was performing sound very much like the movements drones often make. Perhaps it faded out because of the distance it was at, or maybe it moved behind a cloud that could not be seen due to the time of night. Another possibility is that it was a distant helicopter, with all the lights bleeding into a single point. No helicopters or other aircraft showed up at the date and time on Flight Radar 24: It is possible that it was a helicopter with transponder switched off, although due to the proximity of Birmingham International Airport 12 miles to the South East this is less probable. Even though this is technically legal, the airport asks most pilots to have their transponders on when in the vicinity. Aerial map indicating Woodside Close (A) and Birmingham International Airport (B) However, the wavy meandering movements of the second orb do not sound like a drone at all, drone’s tend to fly in straight lines when moving from one position to another. These movements sound more like those of a drifting white LED balloon or bird reflecting ground lights. But it cannot have been these either because of the way in which it suddenly shot away. This manoeuvre suggests that the object was under intelligent and advanced control. The military jet which Oscar both saw and heard is another interesting aspect of the sighting. I have not been able to locate either the military jet or the plane travelling in the opposite direction on Flight Radar. The only planes which do show up are a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner at 11:37pm and a Bomardier Global 6000 at 11:58pm: Both of these are passenger jets, and both were travelling in a South Eastern direction, not East or West. They were also clearly present much later than the witness stated the events transpired. Military jets often have their transponders off, so it is not surprising that I have not been able to locate it. However, I am mystified as to why I cannot see the other aircraft. There is a chance that both were military, and both there because of the UFO, although neither can be confirmed at present. If a military jet was launched, the most likely location it came from would have been RAF Cosford. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave HodrienRelease Year: 2024 Last Updated: 14/10/2026 Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used for some witnesses On 26th – 27th August 2023 I attended the Awakening Expo UFO conference held in Manchester. It was a superb conference with many great speakers across numerous stages. I was provided with a table in the merchandise hall in order to sell copies of my UFO themed card game UFO Wave. However I still had a chance to watch some of the speakers and meet many people over the two days. One of the individuals I was introduced to was Gaynor Clarke, a lady from Manchester visiting the conference. She had a number of contact related experiences she wanted to discuss with me. On the Sunday afternoon we found a quiet corner and I interviewed her about what had taken place. In the following months after the conference I reached out to her numerous times in order to understand everything in good depth. This case report covers her experiences in age order. Silver-Grey Disc The first experience Gaynor can recollect was an UFO sighting, the only one she has had to date. It occurred in the winter of 1973 when she was 7 years old, and living with her mother and younger sister “Olivia” in a house on Ashdale Close, Stockport. Aerial map of Ashdale Close She shared an upstairs bedroom with Olivia (who was 5 at the time) at the front of the property. She recalls being in her room after dark one night, possibly around 9pm. She had gone up to bed but had not yet dropped off to sleep. Logically her sister should have been in the room too at the time, but she doesn’t remember her being there for some reason. She just knows that her mother was awake and downstairs at the time. She remembers standing up and looking out of the front bedroom window to the East. She has no idea why she had felt inclined to do this. Usually the curtains would be drawn but she had pulled these back to look outside. It was an overcast evening with grey cloud cover. Suddenly she saw what appeared to be a huge silver-grey coloured disc start to emerge from the edge of one of the clouds. The cloud directly below it was glowing orange colour, seemingly from light coming from its underside! The disc appeared to be very large in size, possibly hundreds of feet across. It had a curved dome on the top, with a more flattened base. There were no windows, portholes or markings visible on its surface. It seemed to be above the cemetery grounds which lay to the East, although distance is sometimes hard to accurately judge, especially after dark. Photograph of Ashdale Close in the direction the disc was seen Gaynor recalls staring at it for several minutes as it slowly came out from the cloud moving in a Southward direction. She did not call her mother or sister. After this period of time she does not remember what happened next. She does not know how the sighting ended, and does not think she spoke about it with either her mother or sister afterwards. She thinks the incident was wiped from her mind directly after it taking place. It was a number of years later in her teens when she seemed to naturally recollect it, and she has remembered it ever since. This sounds like a very impressive sighting indeed, and one which has a number of fascinating aspects. Although Gaynor did not observe it perform any advanced manoeuvres, it was seemingly much too large to be a normal aircraft or lit inflatable. The sighting occurred decades before drones existed so again this case be ruled out. However a blimp with orange lights towards the base cannot be entirely ruled out, especially considering she was only young at the time of the incident. That said, why would Gaynor have forgotten the incident afterwards if it were nothing more than a blimp? Another possible explanation for the orange glow seen would reflection of ground lights on the base of the cloud layer. However from Gaynor’s description it certainly sounds like the glow was localised and linked with the object itself. Although there did not seem to be any direct interaction with Gaynor this cannot be ruled out. There are clearly some anomalies to the experience, including the possible loss of memories of the incident for a number of years, and the lack of a memory of her sister being in the room, even though she should have been by that time of evening. It is a mystery as to whether there were any other witnesses of the object Given the huge size of the object, and the fact that it was only mid-evening (although already dark due to the time of year), it may well have been seen by other people at different locations. Soldiers Two years after the UFO sighting Gaynor experienced another bizarre incident, this time directly inside her home. She cannot recall the exact time of year it occurred but knows she was 9 at the time. It was about 9.30pm and like before she was in her bedroom but had not yet dropped off to sleep. Her mother was watching television downstairs. She suddenly sensed that something was not right, and that for an unknown reason she should leave the room and go downstairs. Acting on this instinct, she got up, left the room, walked along the landing and turned to start heading down the staircase. As she did she saw what appeared to be six figures walking up the stairs towards her, several steps up from the bottom! They were in three lines of two. The figures appeared human but they were all short, about 4 foot in height and seemed to be identical in appearance. They were all wearing blue coloured uniforms which had tassels on. Their clothing was the most prominent thing she noticed, she did not really have time to check their faces as she was frightened of the figures so immediately backed off. Gaynor ran along the landing and quickly hid inside the airing cupboard, terrified that the strange figures were going to come and get her. A short period of time went by and then suddenly the door of the airing cupboard opened. This was the last thing she remembers when thinking back to the incident, she does not recall who was there when the door opened. It could have been the figures, or perhaps instead was her mother coming upstairs to check on her. The fact that Gaynor does not recall how the incident ended is an interesting aspect, and potentially points towards this being a visitation experience. The figures she saw coming up the stairs were very unusual in appearance, and almost looked like they were in military clothing of some kind. She remembers them looking humanoid in appearance, although did not really see them clearly. Perhaps the figures were ghostly apparitions of actual soldiers. But another possibility is that they were ET beings, potentially using a screen memory to mask their actual appearance. This is something which has been reported on many occasions, often when encountering Grey beings. Sometimes the appearance the beings take seems to be something familiar to the individual, however Gaynor had no interest in the military at the time. It is interesting that the figures appeared to be shorter in height than normal adults. More often than not Greys are described as being around 3.5-4 feet tall. Could the short height of the figures indicate that they were actually Greys? If so then this could explain why Gaynor cannot remember what happened after the cupboard door opened. One potential explanation for this is that she was abducted but the memories were then blocked out. Paralyzed Between the ages of 12-14 Gaynor experienced numerous similar incidents. The first time it happened she was lying awake in bed when she suddenly felt her body gradually start to go stiff. The sensation started in her solar plexus (abdomen) and spread out until her whole body felt “like a stone slab”. She lay there wondering how long this state would last for. She could not move at all, only look around the room. She was not really frightened, but more intrigued by the sensation. To her knowledge it lasted about five minutes and then gradually subsided until she could move again. A number of months later exactly the same thing occurred, and then occasionally in the two years following. She did not see or hear anything unusual during any of these experiences. It is very likely that these incidents were what is known as “sleep paralysis”. If you are unfamiliar with this, it can often occur when the body is settling down to drop off to sleep. It is a shutdown of the body’s muscles while still in a conscious state of mind. While there is some crossover with the contact phenomenon, in that many people find themselves paralysed while experiencing contact, many people suffer from the condition (sometimes quite regularly). There is no indication that these incidents were anything other than sleep paralysis. Repeated Abductions In 1985 when she was 18 Gaynor and her family moved to a new address, Hollow Vale Drive in North Reddish, Stockport. She again has a bedroom at the front of the property. At the time she was in her final year at Sixth Form College. One late evening she returned home after being out with friends after college ended. She went up to her room and got into bed. Suddenly she heard a low humming sound. Initially she wondered if it was coming from the nearby railway line to the South East. Puzzled by the sound she lay there listening to it. As she did she began to sense that something or someone was coming for her. The noise felt somehow familiar to her, even though she believed that she had never heard it before. She lay there for about ten minutes anticipating something. Exactly what, she did not know. After this she seemingly blacked out, her next memory was of waking up in the morning. She did not tell her mother about what had occurred as she did not want to worry her. Nor did she inform her sister, as she did not think she would understand. However this would not be the only time she would hear the sound. Gaynor informed me that she began to hear it regularly from that point onwards, roughly several times a month for the next eight years of her life! On many of these occasions roughly the same thing would occur. She would be lying in bed and would hear the sound for a period of time before blacking out. However on some occasions she would not even have got into bed and would be standing up in her room, yet would still black out in the same way. She began to get petrified of hearing the sound as she associated it with someone coming for her and her being helpless to prevent this. The only time she felt safe was when it was raining because of the background noise that this created coming from outside. Looking back at this Gaynor understands how illogical this was, as of course the rain would not prevent anything from happening. On one particular occasion she was standing in her bedroom near the door when the buzzing noise began. She peered out through the window, wondering what the source of the sound was. Next thing she knew she found herself in a rectangular craft of some kind. There were rows of seats and windows along each side with a central walkway, similar to an old bus. She was sitting on one of the seats on the left side near the front. There was another girl sitting further back on the other side. She realised it was one of her work colleagues, but did not attempt to speak with her. Instead she peered out of the window alongside her and realised that they were up in the air. Looking down she could see the roof of the local police station. The craft was flying about 30 feet above it. Then it began to ascend up through the atmosphere for about ten minutes until Gaynor believes it was in orbit. Looking out to the right she could see the moon and stars all around. To the lower left of her view she could see the Earth. She was excited by this fact, rather than frightened, and thought to herself “Oh my god, I’m in space!” Rather than panic about where she was, or what was going to happen next, she instead couldn’t wait to tell her step-father “Rob”, as he had always had aspirations of being an astronaut. Gaynor does not recall seeing any other beings aboard the craft, or what happened next. Her next memory was of waking up in the morning. She clearly recollected being aboard the strange aerial vehicle, it felt extremely vivid. Even though she felt that it had been more than a dream she decided not to tell Rob. She never told anyone else about these experiences either, as she felt that they would ridicule her. It was something she learned to live with. A Triggered Reaction? By 1989 Gaynor was dating a local man, “Simon”. On some summer evenings they used to drive out in the car around the rural lanes in the outskirts of Stockport. They would then park up and camp for the night. One evening they were out on one such drive. It was about 9.30pm and most of the light had faded in the sky. It was a clear and dry evening. Gaynor cannot recall exactly which road they were on at the time, other than the fact it was very rural and there was nobody else around. They were driving up the gradual slope of a hill. As they neared the summit all of a sudden there was a bright white glow coming from the other side ahead of them. Gaynor immediately started panicking for an unknown reason. She immediately brought the car to a halt and started crying. She was shaking and extremely emotional, but could not understand exactly why. After a short while the glow was still present in the sky. Simon got out of the car and walked up the remainder of the slope. He soon returned to the vehicle and informed her that the glow was coming from the moon, which had of course appeared due to the time of evening. After hearing this Gaynor started to calm back down over a number of minutes. She could not understand why she had reacted so extremely to seeing the light. Once she was fully calm they continued their drive along the lane, and she finally saw that it was the moon with her own eyes. In the days following this incident Gaynor thought about what had happened. She started to view her previous experiences in a different light, and began to realise that something unusual was very likely taking place in her life. Soon afterwards she decided to tell Simon all about her prior experiences and her thoughts on why she may have reacted the way she did. White Light At the time Gaynor was living with her mother, while Simon was living in a large Victorian house in Whalley Range, Manchester. One night in September she had gone round to spend the night there. She woke up about 2am for an unknown reason. The room was very dark and Simon was fast asleep next to her. She rolled over in bed to face towards the huge bedroom window which covered almost the entirety of the outer wall. Suddenly the room was bathed in bright white light, clearly coming in from outside. The curtains were closed but the light was so intense that it shone straight through them, lighting up the surroundings. Concerned about the situation, Gaynor turned and tried waking Simon up by shaking him. But no matter how hard she shook him he did not seem to stir. She does not recall what happened next, this was her last memory of the night. In the morning when she awoke she felt more tired than she would usually feel. She informed Simon about what had happened, and about the fact that she did not seem to be able to wake him up. What Gaynor experienced here may well have been an abduction. Many contact experiences begin with white light filling the vicinity (sometimes coming from a waiting craft). I have also investigated numerous cases where others in the nearby area appear to have been “switched off” and cannot be woken, just as was reported here. Lost Pregnancy In 1990 Gaynor began to feel like she was pregnant. There was no physical bump, but she tested positive on two pregnancy tests. She went to see her GP and they confirmed that she was. A couple of months later she started bleeding. Concerned for the baby, she rang an ambulance to come and get her and take her to Stephen Hill hospital. They confirmed that she had unfortunately had a miscarriage and there was no sign of the baby. What confused Gaynor was that she felt certain she had not passed anything large enough to be a foetus. It was like the baby had just disappeared. Two months later she got pregnant again. Thankfully this time it was a success and her first daughter “Lucy” was born in 1991. It is of course possible that Gaynor was mistaken on this occasion, and it was in fact a normal miscarriage. This has been mentioned because of what occurred later on. Daugher’s Nightmares By 1995 Gaynor had a second daughter, “Sophie”. Lucy and Sophie shared a bedroom. They slept on a bunk bed, with Sophie on the bottom bunk and Lucy on the top. Lucy began to inform her mother of nightmares she was having where hands would grab hold of her and float her out of the bedroom window. She would wake up in the middle of the night loudly screaming. On one particular occasion Lucy woke in the night shouting out like usual. Gaynor went through to her room, climbed up onto the top bunk and lay down alongside her to comfort her. As she lay there cuddling her, the dark silhouette of something suddenly looked over the edge of the bunk! Gaynor only saw it for a brief moment, she sat up but there was nothing there. Hybrid Daughter By 2002 Gaynor had moved into her own home with her daughters. One night she dropped off to sleep like normal. She suddenly found herself elsewhere. She recalls walking through a tall rectangular door which swivelled closed behind her. She found herself in a room about 15 feet high. It was quite dark. She was standing on a flattened rounded platform with railings around the edge. Beyond this platform she could see a number of panels with lights and buttons on. There were several Greys present, one close and diagonally ahead of her, one off to the right, and another further back. They were quite tall in height, around 7 foot. They were unclothed, had a slender body frame and blue-grey coloured smooth skin. She cannot recall whether their eyes were fully black or not, but they were large and she was transfixed by them. Looking back at the incident Gaynor says “You would fall into them. If you looked into them you were hooked.” She cannot recall seeing noses, but had thin slits for mouths. For an unknown reason, despite them all looking identical, Gaynor sensed that the being closest to her and the one further away were male, whereas the one off to the right was female. She was not frightened by them and felt that they were friendly. They felt familiar to her like she knew them. Alongside the Grey that Gaynor sensed was female stood a little girl. She looked about 11 years old and was around 3 and a half feet tall. She was wearing a white coloured tunic. She had very pale skin, thin white hair and big blue eyes, and was clearly not fully human. Despite this, Gaynor immediately sensed a connection with her, like she was her own daughter. The Grey closest to her then began to speak with her telepathically. She heard a male sounding voice in her mind. It informed her that this girl was indeed part hers and belonged to her, but would not be able to come with her as she looks too different and would not be accepted on Earth. Gaynor walked over and knelt down in front of the girl. She wanted to get near to her and sensed a great connection with her. The girl did not respond and just stood there staring at her. However, Gaynor sensed that she was grateful to be there with her in that moment. She reached out and held the girl’s hand. After a short while, the Grey nearest to her informed her that the girl had to go. When the female Grey took her away Gaynor was not upset, she understood that the girl could not stay with her. Looking back at this Gaynor is a little puzzled. She informed me “I wasn’t angry at the beings, which is really weird because if anyone touched my kids I’d kill them, I am very protective. It was almost like I was acting more complacent than usual.” This is where her memory of the situation ended. The next thing she knew she was waking up in the morning. The memories of what had taken place felt much more vivid than a normal dream and she interpreted it as a real experience. She was initially very emotional, but settled down after a number of hours. Looking back at what happened, Gaynor feels really grateful that she was able to meet with the girl. She feels at peace with what happened, and ever since the incident has not been frightened. Gaynor says that often feels watched while she is out places. Now and again she reaches out to her in her mind and says hello, just in case she is able to somehow hear her. Conclusions Gaynor has had some fascinating experiences, and is clearly an experiencer as she has vivid recollections of being abducted and meeting with Greys. It is unknown whether the sighting of the disc-shaped UFO is related or not. It did not appear to be there directly for her, but the memories of the sighting were seemingly blocked out for a number of years, which implies a level of direct interaction. It is possible that this initial sighting was what led to her later experiences. It is clear that Gaynor is also part of what is commonly referred to as the “hybrid breeding program”. I have investigated other cases where experiencers have been presented with Grey-Human hybridised babies or children which they view as their own offspring. The exact reason why these hybrids are being created is not fully understood at present, though a number of theories exist, and some experiencers have been given information relating to this. It does appear that her eldest daughter may also have experienced contact. It is common for contact to run through numerous generations of a family blood line. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 13/10/2026 In April 2024 witness Neil Watson got in touch with BUFOG via our website’s sighting report form to inform us of a sighting of a disc-shaped UFO he had in August 2020. When I reached out to him to discuss the incident via phone he mentioned that later in the same year he had another sighting of a glowing orb. This case report covers this second incident. Sighting Details The incident took place on either a Wednesday or Thursday morning. At the time Neil lived on Arkley Road in Yardley. However, he had stopped overnight at a friend’s house in Kitts Green, and the following morning he decided to visit his aunt in Hall Green. He disembarked at the bus stop next to the Swan Shopping Centre in Yardley, then began to walk South along Yardley Road in the direction of Hall Green. Neil cannot recollect seeing any stars, and says that there may have been cloud cover. There were no other pedestrians around. As he walked along he happened to look up into the sky ahead of him. There, seemingly about 500 feet up, was a glowing white orb of light. It seemed to be larger and brighter than a star would appear. Photograph of Yardley Road The object was on a straight course and moving in his direction. Neil immediately stopped walking and started to observe the orb as it approached. Sadly he did not have his smartphone on him, he had left it at home. After about 30 seconds it suddenly completely changed direction and began moving away from him again. He watched it for a further minute until it had vanished from sight into the distance. Neil got the distinct impression that the object had spotted him and this is why it had changed course suddenly. The orb did not reappear so he continued his walk home. Sighting Analysis The glowing orb that Neil observed certainly sounds like it was within the atmosphere rather than out in orbit . The sudden change in direction of the object rules out numerous mundane explanations including a satellite brightly reflecting sunlight, the International Space Station and an aircraft with its landing lights on. A helicopter sounds unlikely too. Even though helicopters can turn round in a stationary position, it would take time for it to have slowed to a halt, then slowly turned and sped back up again. Also there were no other navigation lights seen such as a flashing white strobe, red or green. However, a couple of explanations are more probable. There is the possibility that the object was a drone with white lights, too distant to make out the rotor blades. Of course, you would have to question why someone might be flying a drone that early in the morning. Another possibility is that the object was a white coloured LED balloon drifting on an air current, which suddenly got caught in an opposing current moving in the opposite direction. While neither of these explanations can be confirmed, and there is the possibility that the movement observed was down to intelligent control, they cannot be ruled out. Therefore the actual explanation for the object remains a mystery. As mentioned, later the same year Neil had a daylight sighting of a disc-shaped UFO. Click here to check out the separate report. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 13/10/2026 In April 2024 a 65 year old man by the name of Neil Watson got in touch with me via the BUFOG website to inform me of a disc-shaped UFO which he witnessed in August 2020. He informed me that he was unaware of BUFOG’s existence at the time or he would have got in touch back then. But after finding out about the group he decided to let us know about what happened. Later in the month I contacted him via telephone to discuss the incident. Sighting Details On the 8th August 2020 Neil spent the night at his aunt’s house on Arcot Road, Hall Green, Birmingham. In the morning after he had got dressed he decided to walk down to York News Convenience Store on York Road to buy the morning paper. As it was quite early on a Sunday morning there were not many other pedestrians around. The route back to his aunt’s house led him over a bridge crossing the railway line which passes through Hall Green. At approximately 8.30am as he was walking over the bridge, he happened to glance up into the sky ahead of him. Aerial map of York Road indicating the route Neil walked It was at this moment that he noticed a disc-shaped object hovering motionless in the sky. It seemed to be quite low down, at an elevation of only 10 degrees from his position. Neil estimates it was only about 40 feet off the ground, and seemed to be about 30 feet across. It was metallic silver in colour and was reflecting the morning sunlight. Around the central rim of the object was a number of dark round portholes/windows. There were no other visible markings or lights. It was hovering completely still in the air and did not appear to be making any sound. Neil noticed that there were another couple of walkers on the bridge who had also seen the object and were standing there watching it too. Neil and the other pedestrians continued to stare at the stationary object for several minutes. During this time they did not really talk to one another, everyone was transfixed by the sight of the UFO. Sadly Neil did not have his smartphone with him as he was not expecting to call anyone so had left it in the house. Suddenly without warning the object shot off to the South South East extremely fast! It was gone in a brief moment. Neil was amazed at what he had just witnessed. He did not discuss the sighting with the other pedestrians present, he just continued his walk home. Once he got back a number of minutes later he informed his aunt about what he had witnessed. Not long after he decided to contact the Sunday Mercury newspaper to inform them about the sighting. According to Neil, the reporter on the phone informed him that they had received some other reports of sightings of the same object around Robin Hood Cemetery. This was in the direction that he had seen it depart the area so this made sense geographically. The following Sunday there was an article in the newspaper about the sightings. Neil informed me that he had kept this article, but since the incident has moved house and does not know where he has put it. If he manages to locate it he will send it to me for inclusion in this report. Sighting Analysis This is an interesting sighting with some impressive aspects to it. Obviously we only have Neil’s testimony to go on at present regarding what took place, however he has little reason to fabricate the incident. He was not paid any money for the details which he passed on to the newspaper. The object he saw could not have been an aeroplane as it hovered motionless for a number of minutes. As it was broad daylight the appearance of the object was clear to see, and it does not sound like a helicopter of any kind. In addition to how it looked, the fact that it appeared to be silent, and the extreme flight manoeuvre it performed at the end of the sighting means it cannot have been a helicopter. This manoeuvre also puts out of the question the idea that it was a large inflatable of some kind. It sounds much too large to be a drone, and again the appearance is of course completely different. Based on the object’s appearance and movement capabilities, this certainly sounds like a genuine daylight sighting of a disc-shaped craft, possibly extra-terrestrial in origin. It is unknown if the round circles seen around it were windows or actual holes in the outer surface of this craft. I have attempted to look for the newspaper article about this and the other local sightings online, but have so far been unsuccessful. If Neil is able to track it down I will add it at a later date. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 13/10/2026 On Saturday 20th July 2024 a man got in touch via our website’s sighting report form to inform BUFOG that his wife Jo had experienced a UFO following along after the International Space Station on the Thursday night, and also had another sighting the previous year. I got in touch with her via telephone to discuss both incidents in depth. Late Autumn/Early Winter 2023 – Duplicating White Orb At around 11pm one evening in late Autumn or early Winter 2023 Jo went into the back garden of her house on Chaffinch Drive to watch the ISS pass overhead. She did not have her smartphone on her as she watches the ISS regularly and had no interest in filming it. It was a very clear but cool night. Her husband had already gone to bed as he had to wake up early for work. Aerial map of Chaffinch Drive The ISS always comes from the West, but she briefly looked round to the stars in the East of the sky. When she did she noticed what appeared to be a satellite travelling from the South on a Northern course. It was just a white orb of light moving on a straight course. She watched it for about 6 seconds by which point it was almost over the house. Suddenly the orb appeared to briefly stop. It then seemed to split into two! One of the orbs continued on the same path to the North. The other began heading back to the South on the exact route that it had previously travelled! Jo thought this was a bizarre sighting. She had never seen two satellites at the same time in close proximity and it appeared that one had emerged from the other. She told her husband about what she’d seen the following day. While it is tempting to assume that the object was not a satellite but instead something else, the apparent split of the object is what makes this sighting intriguing. Satellites are not always visible when they cross the sky, but can suddenly appear to appear or disappear. This happens when they rotate into a position where they either start or stop brightly reflecting the sun’s rays. However unlikely it may sound, it is possible that the object was indeed a satellite, and that there was a second satellite travelling the opposite direction which happened to cross paths with it. This could have been at a non-reflective angle but rotated just as it went past the initially observed one, making it look like it had emerged out of it. Perhaps this situation also resulted in an optical illusion that the initial object had halted briefly. I feel that this is most likely what was observed, but obviously this is just a theory. 18/07/2024 – White Orb Following ISS On Thursday 18th July 2024 at 11:39pm she was once again out in the back garden to spot the station. It was a relatively clear and pleasant night with only light cloud and plenty of stars visible. The moon was bright and almost full in the sky. Example close up photograph of the ISS After checking out the moon for a couple of minutes she turned her attention to the stars and waited for the ISS to show itself. Exactly on schedule it appeared to the West, travelling Eastward. However a few seconds later Jo realised that there was a second orb of white light following along after it. This second orb was about the same size but a little dimmer in brightness. It appeared to be out of orbit and trailing the ISS. She watched it for about 10 seconds as it matched the speed and direction of the station. Then suddenly without warning it reversed in direction and shot away like a bullet, disappearing in just a second! Jo could barely believe what she had just seen. She headed back inside and said to her husband “I’ve just seen something weird!” This is a stunning sighting due to the manoeuvre the orb was seen to perform. It is unknown whether it truly was out in orbit following along after the ISS or whether it was actually in the atmosphere but happened to be initially travelling the same speed and direction. The below response from Google AI confirms that the ISS was indeed over the UK at 11:39pm on 18th July: If the orb had not suddenly changed direction and shot away at incredible speed I would have possibly suggested that it may have been a distant aircraft or white coloured LED balloon. However neither of these are capable of performing the instant change in direction and massive increase in velocity observed. The only explanation which cannot be entirely ruled out is that of a drone with white lights, distant enough to be silent and for all the lights to bleed into one. However, the speed of acceleration which Jo reports sounds too quick even for that, with the object disappearing into the distance in just a second. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 13/10/2026 Donna Marie Welham is the administrator of the Facebook community page “Post Apocalyptic, UFO, Cyborg, Bigfoot, Conspiracies, Angels, Cryptids etc”. In September 2024 I heard her mention a UFO sighting she had experienced. I reached out to her to ask for more details. This resulted in a Facebook Messenger video call in which she went over not only the sighting, but also an incident from her childhood involving an unusual being. This report covers the being encounter, to read about Donna’s later UFO sighting click here. Encounter Details In 1982 when she was 9 years old she lived in a bungalow on the rural outskirts of Hayle, Cornwall with her parents, uncle and two older brothers. One night in the early hours of the morning she awoke for an unknown reason. For some reason she felt compelled to get up and go and look out of her bedroom window. When she pulled back the curtains she was shocked to see an unusual being standing quite close to her. It was 8-9 feet in height, was unclothed and covered in brown coloured fur. It had long pointed ears and fiery red eyes. Terrified by the presence of this strange being she ran through into her parent’s room. She told them she had seen something outside. She grabbed a pillowcase and drew a picture of it to show them (Sadly Donna no longer has this pillowcase, she says that many years ago there was a fire and it probably got destroyed in that). She is unsure whether they believed her, but they allowed her to sleep in with them for the night. Looking back at the experience Donna says that it looked similar to the Egyptian jackal god Anubis. She believes that the being wanted to be seen as it was not trying to hide or making any threatening signs or sounds. She says that even now when she goes to close the curtains she has vivid memories of what happened. Encounter Analysis The being which Donna saw is interesting. Obviously it is important to consider that she was only 9 at the time and she had just woken up. Could this have been her imagination perhaps caused by someone standing outside combined with reflections of moonlight/other nearby ground lights? If it was actually present, then it did not look like any of the usual types of being reported in contact experiences. Some may even interpret this experience as evidence that werewolves or skinwalkers exist. It may well have been an unusual cryptid. However, there is also the possibility that this was a screen memory and it was an ET masking its actual appearance. There is the fact that she felt compelled to get up and look out of the window, suggesting an aspect of mind control. A Later Incident? Donna says that her friend Emma had a terrifying experience within months of her encounter with the canine being. At the time Emma was staying in one of the chalets in the sand dunes alongside Hayle Beach with her family. She ran back to the chalet, sensing something chasing after her every step of the way. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 13/10/2026 In September 2024 I reached out to a lady named Donna Marie Welham, who is the administrator of the Facebook community page “Post Apocalyptic, UFO, Cyborg, Bigfoot, Conspiracies, Angels, Cryptids etc”. She had mentioned a UFO sighting she had experienced, and I felt it would be good to get it down on official record. The following month we spoke via video call about the sighting. Donna also mentioned a childhood sighting of a canine-like being, which I have created a separate report for here. Sighting Details One early evening in 2001 Donna’s ex-partner had driven over her house to pick up their son. He was on the front drive when he suddenly shouted “Come and look at this!” Donna headed outside to see what he was making a fuss about. It was a clear, dry and mild evening. Further along the lane around 10 feet above the tree tops she could see two large orange coloured glowing orbs. They were stationary and positioned almost level with one another. She thought to herself “Oh my god, what are these?” AI generated drawing based on witness description After staring at them for almost a minute Donna ran inside and got her father to come and see. He made his way outside. By the time he got out there one of the orbs had apparently disappeared. Donna believes he may have seen the second orb also vanish. He returned inside and suggested that they may have been flares. Donna says that the orbs looked much too large to be flares. She is also familiar with how sky lanterns look and said they appeared different to these too. The incident occurred many years before drones were commercially available, so this can be ruled out as a explanation. Sighting Analysis Sometimes when aeroplanes are flying directly towards/away they can appear to be motionless. However, the objects were observed long enough for this not to have been the case, some movement would likely have been detected. While helicopters can of course hover, they have white, red and green navigation lights, not orange, so again can be ruled out: The incident happened over a decade before drones were commercially available so this too was clearly not what was seen. However, the orbs Donna, her father and ex-partner saw did not perform any advanced manoeuvres, so sky lanterns, other lit inflatables or flares cannot be ruled out, despite Donna stating that they appeared too large for this. Sometimes brightly glowing objects can appear larger than they in fact are, especially after dark with no point of reference. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2024 Last Updated: 10/10/2026 Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used In June 2024 I was contacted via E-Mail by a lady from Birmingham who I shall name “Claire”. She informed me that back in 2021 she saw orbs of light over her home which she claimed frequently returned. She said that she has hours of video footage of these orbs and other unusual activity, and sent a few example videos and photographs for me to analyse. She stated that the videos she has sent were short to keep the file size down, but that she had more extended footage she would be willing to share. She also confirmed that on another occasion she witnessed a pink haze of electro-magnetic energy above the trees at the side of her garden, then a disc-shaped UFO suddenly flew silently and very closely across the roof of her home. In a later E-Mail she stated that she unfortunately did not manage to grab her smartphone in time so has no footage of this incident. She also confirmed that she was not happy to reveal the district of Birmingham the incidents occurred at as it may lead to unwanted attention. Unfortunately, despite me responding with lots of additional questions about the received photos and videos Claire only responded with some basic information regarding what she has managed to capture. I have decided to release the videos and photographs received via this report for interest, with my analysis based on the limited information available. 18th August 2021 – Glow In The Sky The first photograph Jo sent appears to be an after dark shot taken from her home. The file name reveals it was taken on 18th August 2021: This first image doesn’t appear to contain any solid objects, but there is a white glow in the sky which I assume is what Claire is intrigued by and considering out of the ordinary. Below is the extracted metadata from the photograph, with important values highlighted: The Camera Info, Creator Software, Make and Software values confirm that the photo was taken on a BlackBerry Classic smartphone and that it has not been tampered with using image editing software (these values change if it is altered from its original). The CreateDate, DateCreated and DateTimeOriginal confirm that it was indeed taken on 18th August at 9:26pm. The most likely explanation for the glow seen in the photo would be the reflection off some bright ground lights hitting the low cloud layer, for example from a stadium or other large scale event. Unfortunately, as Claire did not provide location details, I cannot check for the presence of a nearby stadium/entertainment venue. However, if it was taken from her house, as it appears to be, then if it was something permanent you’d expect her to be used to seeing this glow in the sky. This suggests that temporary event lighting is more probable. Another possibility is what is known as noctilucent clouds. These are rare cloud formations which appear to glow white. Example photograph of noctilucent clouds However, these cloud formations are usually wispier in shape as the above photograph shows, so light reflection from the ground seems far more probable. 22nd August 2021 – White Orb Four evenings later Claire took another photograph of a white coloured orb: This was again taken on her BlackBerry at 10:41pm, confirmed by the metadata: She also sent a zoomed picture of this orb: As the object appears to be distant and the image is not particularly clear (probably due to the low light conditions) it is impossible to tell what this could be. There is no way to determine its size, how high up or far away it is, and we also have no information regarding its movements or whether there was any sound heard. It may not even be within the atmosphere. The ISS Tracker confirms that at this date and time the International Space Station was over the West coast of South America, so it cannot have been this: However, a bright star or satellite cannot be ruled out. If it is in the atmosphere there are lots of things which it could be, including a distant aircraft, drone, hot air balloon safety light or a white coloured LED balloon. This is a great example of why lots of additional information is necessary when trying to accurately analyse a UFO photograph. 21st November 2021 – Orange Orb At 5:04pm on the evening of 21st November 2021 Claire captured a short video of a light orange orb: She took a second short video of the same object a minute later: Claire also sent me a zoomed still of the orb displayed on the screen of her BlackBerry: The metadata confirms that this zoomed still was taken several days after the sighting using an iPhone 4 smartphone: From the videos it is clear that the object is quite distant, viewed in the sky over the rooves of nearby housing. It appears to be in the atmosphere and either stationary or drifting very slowly (undetectable due to the short length of the footage). The orange colour rules out some explanations such as a star, satellite, ISS or aircraft. The most probable mundane explanation would be a sky lantern. Although these are rarer now due to the fact that they are no longer sold by retailers as they are a fire hazard, they are not illegal and are still occasionally launched. Other explanations could include a drone with orange lights (though they tend to usually have white, green or red lights) or an orange coloured LED balloon. 2024 – Glowing Orb Claire also sent some later footage which appears to show a recording of some footage from her house’s night security camera being played on a monitor/screen: The recording was shot at 6:33pm on 28th June 2024. As it would have been daylight hours at this time it clearly was not recorded on the same date as the incident. It is possible that the incident occurred the previous night but this cannot be confirmed without further correspondence from Claire. It appears to show a glowing orb moving across the sky on a straight and level course at a slow continuous speed until it vanishes out of the side of the frame. It does not As the footage is infra-red it is in black and white, so the actual colour of the orb is unknown. There are no other flashing lights seen so a distant aircraft seems unlikely. A sky lantern or LED balloon drifting on an air current seems more probable. Conclusions Analysing the photos and videos on their own without additional information from the witness to understand how the objects moved or whether other advanced aspects were observed, all of the incidents can be explained as a number of mundane possibilities. While anomalous explanations cannot be ruled out entirely there is no evidence which currently points towards this. The sighting of the disc-shaped object which Claire says flew over the roof of her house sounds more intriguing, but sadly she was unable to capture this on camera. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2026

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2023 Last Updated: 10/10/2026 In January 2023 someone posted a thread in our Facebook community page BUFOG Truthseekers asking people how they initially got interested in UFOs. A man from Middlesex named Robbie responded to report that his interest began with actual experiences involving both craft and beings. I got in touch with him to discuss his experiences further. In 2023 Robbie only provided limited information. In 2026 I successfully reconnected with him and over further Facebook Messenger conversations I was able to learn more about what took place. UFOs In The Storm Robbie informed me that back in 2013 he used to live on Brentvale Avenue in Ealing, London. He claims that on an afternoon in May there was a thunderstorm in the local vicinity. Black clouds covered the sky but there was no rain. He has always enjoyed watching storms so he quickly hurried home from work so he could watch the lightning from his back garden. He could taste the static electricity in the air from the storm, and the hairs on his arms were standing up. His wife was inside the house at the time. Four miles to the South West of Brentvale Avenue lies Heathrow Airport. Robbie says that he was used to seeing distant planes landing and taking off from there. Most prominent was two domed disc-shaped objects, one closer than the other. Robbie says that he was not massively into the subject of UFOs at the time but had looked into it a bit, and immediately believed that he was looking at two non-human craft. The near one was positioned at an angle of about 45 degrees from his position and was no higher than 150 feet up. The other was further away in the distance and at a higher altitude. Just South of Brentvale Avenue is Ealing Hospital. Robbie says that he would regularly see air ambulance helicopters take off or land there so was able to judge the height of aerial objects quite well. The two craft looked identical to each other and were completely silent. They appeared to be at least as wide as a normal two storey house (30 feet). They were silver grey in colour, and had a line of windows running around the lower part of the dome. These windows were dark in colour and initially nothing could be seen in them. The dome was prominent enough that it could be seen even when looking up at a diagonal. Close to the nearest craft was a third object. It looked like a metallic sphere. It was about 15 feet across. Running across its centre both horizontally and vertically were markings that reminded him of a train track with rivets either side, splitting the sphere into four distinct quarters. Initially the sphere was hovering motionless just to the right of the near craft at an altitude of about 110 feet. Suddenly it shifted to a particular point in the sky where there appeared to be numerous lightning flashes within the clouds. A moment later the sphere got struck by a bolt of lightning from the cloud! When it did the windows in the nearby disc lit up bright white, as if the craft had absorbed the electrical energy. Within the glow Robbie watched a Grey being walk into view inside the windows. It had a blue-grey coloured face, black eyes, and appeared to be wearing a grey coloured jumpsuit. The being then looked down and pointed right at him! It took him about 7 seconds to comprehend what he was looking at. At this point he says that he shouted out for his wife to come out and see what was taking place. At this point the two craft and the sphere began lifting up at a diagonal angle away from him. As they began to ascend the sphere once again got struck by lightning and once again the windows of the near craft lit up. By the time his wife had joined him in the garden the more distant craft and the sphere had both vanished into the clouds. The nearer craft was still visible but only just. He pointed it out to his wife saying “Can you see something there?” Unfortunately, the craft was too far away to be identifiable. She just replied “I can see a little dot.” Robbie didn't tell her what he’d just witnessed as he says she’s not interested in the subject and thought she would not have believed him. They both headed back into the house. Robbie sat down, his mind rushing all over the place. Soon afterwards he rang his brother Danny and told him what he had seen. Robbie says that his brother believed him. White Orb Around 9am the following morning Robbie returned outside and stood there staring up at the sky and thinking about what had taken place the previous afternoon. His wife did not think this was odd as she was used to him sky watching. The storm had completely departed. It was a pleasant morning with patchy white clouds and an average temperature. Suddenly almost directly overhead an off-white coloured oval shaped object emerged from one of the clouds so rapidly that it left a perfect circular hole behind it! The object appeared to be about 15 feet in length. It very quickly shot away to the left making a whoosh sound as it went. It was only visible for a couple of seconds due to the speed. The hole remained a short while longer before being filled back in with cloud. Robbie says that he did not expect to see anything else so did not have his smartphone on him at the time. He felt like the object was another craft which had been there intentionally and was observing him. He waited outside a short while to see if it would return but it did not so he went back inside. Once again he did not tell his wife what had occurred. Grey and Reptilian Encounters Robbie has eluded to a number of other experiences he has had, including visitations by both Greys and Reptilians, and an incident where he was walking to work and saw a woman’s eyes briefly change to those of a Reptilian. Unfortunately, he has not provided any additional details on what took place at this time. Conclusions Obviously Robbie has not provided any evidence beyond his testimony at this current time. His claims are quite dramatic and it is entirely up to you if you believe them. He has come across as genuinely sincere in our discussions. It is unfortunate that he has not managed to capture any of these dramatic events on camera. If the incidents occurred the way that Robbie has stated then they certainly point towards genuine contact incidents rather than misidentification of mundane things. The domed disc-shaped objects which were witnessed in the storm were clearly not normal aircraft, helicopters or drones. The sphere that was observed was moving with intent and clearly interacting directly with the craft, seemingly passing gathered electricity to them. I have not investigated any other cases where this specific activity has been reported, though have investigated several other sightings involving spheres and orbs which have taken place during storms. Given the proximity to the previous incident it is probable that the white oval shaped UFO was related. It sounds like it was moving much too rapidly to be a drifting inflatable, and the appearance and sound it made rule out a lot of other mundane possibilities. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2026

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 07/10/2026 Sighting Details At 5:27pm on 23rd August 2026 Garry was staying at Travelodge Maypole Birmingham hotel on Maypole Lane. This caused him to look up. As he did he noticed a distant object to the North East at an elevation of about 30 degrees. It appeared to be hovering motionless, silent, and brightly reflecting the sunlight. He took a couple of photographs: After 45 seconds he noticed it was beginning to slowly move so took a couple more: The object wasn’t coming out particularly clearly so he zoomed in on it and took a further four photographs: To his naked eye the object looked like a reflective sphere, but on the photos it looked more cuboid in shape. A minute and a half later he took another photograph of the object: After this he lost sight of it. But three and a half minutes he once again noticed the object, this time over the trees and suburban housing to the East. It was now reflecting the light less brightly and possible to see that it was silver in colour. Garry got the impression it was about the height a patrol helicopter would fly at (500 feet) and at least 30 feet across. He took a further six photos as it slowly moved away: Then suddenly without warning it vanished from sight. Garry felt sure that it had not disappeared due to the distance it was at, and as you can see from the photos there were no clouds in the sky for it to have been hidden from view behind. Sighting Analysis The plane which caused Garry to look up was AFR88JK, an Air France Airbus 220-300, as shown on Flight Radar: I have no reason to doubt the authenticity of the photographs, but checking the metadata of them proves that they have not been tampered with. Here is the metadata for the 10th photograph Garry took, the clearest shot of the object: The Camera Info, Creator Software, Make, Model, Software and Profile Copyright indicate that the photos were taken on a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone and have not been modified by any image editing software. The Timestamp, CreateDate, ModifyDate, DateTimeOriginal, SubSecCreateDate, SubSecModifyDate and SubSecDateTimeOriginal all confirm that the photograph was taken at the date and time stated by the witness. While it is possible to modify photographic metadata, most people do not even realise it exists let alone how to alter it. In the first couple photos Garry took the object is so far away that it’s extremely hard to see: The third and fourth photos appear to show two objects. It’s possible that the second object was a second similar object which Garry didn’t notice at the time, or potentially a bird. There are no other aircraft in the vicinity which could account for it: The initial zoomed photos do show that the shape of the object is more square or rectangular rather than spherical. It is hard to see much detail due to the bright sunlight reflecting off it. Here is a zoomed view of the third zoomed shot: The same zoomed view with edge find: The photographs to the East are clearer with less sunlight reflection, likely due to the change in angle. Here is a zoomed view from the first photo: Zoomed view with edge find: In the second of these later photos the object almost looks metallic pink in colouration. However, as this colour can only be seen in the one image I think it is likely down to reflection rather than the actual colour: Edge find on the above zoomed image: It is hard to gauge the actual shape of the object, but best estimation would be a vertically positioned rounded rectangle. As it is in the sky with no point of reference it is hard to tell exactly how large it is. The object did not perform any advanced manoeuvres at any point of the sighting. When I spoke with Garry he seemed impressed by how far it had moved across the sky between losing sight of it and then catching sight of it again. However, this was over three minutes, easily enough time for it to have drifted. It does not have the appearance of a normal aeroplane, helicopter or drone. My opinion is that the object was most likely a silver coloured novelty balloon drifting on air currents. The witness likely estimated it to be further away that it in fact was. When it disappeared from view this was probably down to a combination of the distance it had drifted away into combined with it changing angle and not catching the sunlight as brightly as it had done previously.
