Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Last Updated: 04/09/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Introduction Jessica lives with her husband Graham and son Martin in the small town of Whitwell in Derbyshire. For many years she has experienced stunning ET-related incidents involving abductions, craft sightings, visitations and paranormal activity. Some of these incidents have also been experienced by Martin, her partners and friends and her parents who are now deceased. Her story is very impressive, and after speaking with her in depth on numerous occasions I see no reason for it to not be genuine. This report covers many, though not all of her experiences. I am sure you will find it absolutely fascinating. The Investigation Jessica first got in contact with me via E-Mail on 6th August 2010. Over the next month I discussed hers and her family’s experiences in great depth via E-Mail and phone. Jessica expressed a great interest in being hypnotically regressed as she had a number of UFO / ET related incidents involving hours of missing time, and she wished to see if she could remember anything about what took place. On Saturday 18th September, I and hypnotherapist Rob Tudge who assists BUFOG with cases involving contact drove up to Whitwell to meet with Jessica, her son and husband. I began by covering all her experiences in depth, and also interviewing Martin about his involvement in them. Jessica and Graham then took us out in the car to a number of nearby locations where some of their experiences had taken place. You can see the photographs taken during this throughout the report. Once we returned to the house Rob then regressed Jessica, focusing on one of her most impressive contact experiences which featured three hours of missing time and the abduction of not only herself, but of Martin and a friend as well. The regression went extremely well, and many other memories were retrieved. You can read the full transcript of this regression later in the report. Since our visit, I have remained in regular contact with Jessica, and both she and Martin have had further experiences. In December 2010 I gave a lecture about the case at a BUFOG meeting. The Orange Sphere The earliest ET-related incident that Jessica can currently remember took place in the summer of 1984/85 when she was 21 years old. At the time she shared a house with her partner Matthew at Unstone Green, Sheffield. One evening she was sitting out in the back garden on her own enjoying the sunset. Matthew was in the house watching TV. It was a very pleasant evening, warm and with a relatively clear sky. Aerial map of Unstone Green: Suddenly Jessica heard a strange buzzing/humming sound coming from near to her. She looked up and was shocked to see a large glowing orange object. It was spherical in shape, but had some strange glowing light towards the base, almost like it was on fire. She finds it very hard to describe this precisely, but it looked different to flames. There was what looked like vapour coming from the base. The glow coming from the main body of the object was constant and the same brightness all over the surface. The UFO was about 50 feet up, and just beyond the base of her garden, about 200 feet from her position. It was very large in size, Jessica estimates it was about four times the size of a hot air balloon. Witness drawing of the UFO: The object was making erratic movements back and forth, almost as if it was in distress. It was also slowly descending. Jessica looked round through the kitchen window, and noticed that the light in the kitchen had started to flicker. Jessica called for Matthew to come and see. When he came outside he told her that the TV was suffering from interference. Jessica pointed out the object to her partner. They assumed that the electrical activity must be related. They continued to watch the object for about 5 minutes, during which it slowly descended until it was lost from sight behind some trees near to their property. The couple walked through the house and out onto the road. A number of other people had also been watching the UFO and were standing out on the street pointing and talking. Jessica continued to watch in the direction where the object had apparently come down, but it did not reappear. She was too frightened to go and check to see if the object had landed. She does not know if anyone went to check around the area where it appeared to have descended. It was not easy to reach; otherwise Matthew may have gone and had a look. The following day, Jessica went round to visit her mother and informed her about what she had seen. A few days later her mum rang up and told her that the UFO had been in the Gazette newspaper, and that there had been numerous sightings of it from Sheffield, Umpston and Bromsfield. Sadly Jessica cannot remember which newspaper it was, and did not keep the article. Jessica’s husband Graham, who did not know her at the time, was one of these other witnesses. Back then Graham lived at Bolsover, about 7 miles away from Unstone Green. It was between 10.30-11pm at night and he had just returned home after being out to visit friends. He happened to look up into the sky and noticed an glowing orange spherical-shaped object. It looked to be about 2000 feet up. It was moving rapidly across the sky. Then suddenly it halted. It remained stationary for a short while and then began moving again, before once again stopping. It continued this for the 5 minutes that Graham watched it. Contact Begins It is possible that Jessica has experienced contact from an early age. Perhaps the sighting of the orange spherical UFO close to her house was there for her, we will probably never know for sure. However, the first definite contact experience that Jessica can remember took place in 1989 when she was 26 years old. She had now split up from Matthew, and moved into a house on Cordwell Avenue, Newbold, Chesterfield. Aerial map of Cordwell Avenue: The evening began just like any other. Jessica was in the living room relaxing and watching TV. It was between 9-9.30pm, and she was sitting up on the sofa wide awake. Her son Martin was very young at the time and was upstairs asleep in his cot. Suddenly Jessica heard a strange humming noise in her ears. There was a bright white flash of light, and she found that she could not move at all, her body was completely paralyzed in a sitting position. Not only this, there was now two Grey beings standing in front of her! One was a couple of feet away from her, the other was further back across the lounge. Both the Greys looked identical. They were about 4 feet high, and appeared to be naked. They had a light grey coloured skin. Their bodies were slender, with long thin arms and legs. They had long thin fingers, she cannot remember if there were four or three fingers on each hand. Their heads were large in comparison to the body, and were the shape of an upside-down pear. They had large almond-shaped eyes which were completely black all over, although she says that sometimes glints of colour could be seen in them. She finds this aspect very hard to explain. The eyes did not blink at all. The beings had small noses, and their mouths were just a thin slit. Witness drawing of the nearest Grey being: Understandably Jessica was very frightened and did not know what was taking place. She tried to scream but nothing came out. She had not looked into the UFO subject at all and had no idea what these strange creatures were. She assumed they must be demons. The Greys were standing quite still. The nearest one was looking at her up and down. She was mesmerized by the large black eyes of the being. Despite being scared, for some reason its eyes had a calming effect on her. She felt that the nearest Grey was reading her mind. This seemed to go on for about 10 minutes. As far as she remembers, on this first contact incident the beings did not speak to her, nor did they reach out for her. Suddenly she heard a strange clicking and buzzing noise. The Greys vanished and she realised she could move again. She looked over at the clock and realised it was now 10.30pm, so up to an hour had gone by which she could not account for! Jessica was terrified by what had just happened. She felt a bit sick, and needed to get out of the house and be around other people. She jumped to her feet and ran out onto the road. To her surprise, a number of her neighbours were outside on the pavement and staring up into the sky. Her friend Karen had been on her way round to see her, and was amongst them. As soon as Karen saw Jessica, she ran up to her. Before Jessica could speak, Karen informed her that there had just been a UFO hovering over her house! The object was dome-shaped and quite large in size (Jessica doesn’t remember any other details she may have heard about the UFO). A moment before Jessica came outside; it had apparently shot straight up vertically into the sky and was lost from sight! Jessica explained what had just happened to her. She and Karen realised the two incidents must have been linked, but didn’t really know what to make of everything. None of the other people out on the street approached them, and they decided to go back inside. Jessica was extremely confused and shaken up by what had taken place. Men In Black In the days following Jessica’s first contact experience, her friend Karen stayed at her house to keep her company and comfort her. Two days after the incident, in the middle of the day there was a knock at the door. Karen went to see who it was. She opened the door and was greeted by two men in dark suits. One of them was wearing sunglasses, the other not. Behind the men, a large black car was parked. They informed Karen that they knew about the incident with the UFO, and asked to speak to Jessica directly. Karen asked the men who they were, and they refused to answer her, they insisted on speaking only to Jessica. Karen was a little disturbed by the men, so she informed them that Jessica was not in and that she was babysitting for her. Without leaving any contact details, the men turned, walked back to their car and drove away. Karen went and told Jessica about what had happened. After this initial visitation, the men continued to return to the house and knock on the door roughly three times a week. Jessica used to glance at them out of the window, and never answered the door to them. They would always wait a short while before departing. The men reminded her of two gangsters from the mafia. The men would not just come to the door. They would also follow Jessica when she left the house. She was not aware of this until a neighbour pointed it out to her. On a number of occasions she spotted them in their car parked near to the house a bit further along the road. They would just sit in the car and wait. They were not always the same men, but there were always two of them. When she visited the local pub the phone would go and someone would ask for her, but when she was handed the phone the person on the line would put the phone down. Activity such as this took place for about six months. Jessica thought about going to the police but never did as she felt she did not have enough evidence, and also thought the police would not believe her. In the end she had enough and decided to move house in Whitwell to get away from the area. Two weeks after she had moved, Karen informed her over the phone that the dome-shaped UFO had been seen again by someone and that it had been in the newspaper. I feel that the men who came to Jessica’s door were probably from one of the agencies involved with the study of the ETs and ongoing cover up. If they were someone else such people from a particular UFO group or journalists they would almost certainly have let Karen know who they were and would have left contact details. Also they would not have remained in the area or continued to keep watch over her. If they were who they appeared to be, then this suggests that not only was Jessica’s experience real, but that certain individuals were aware of this fact. They may possibly have wanted to speak with her to find out information about the ETs, or perhaps they wanted to intimidate her so she would not tell others about what had happened. Son’s Protection One day before she had moved house and was still living at Newbold, an unusual incident occurred. While she was using the toilet somehow Martin got out of his playpen. She heard him get out and ran to find him, but she was too late and he was just toppling from the top of the staircase. However as he did, an invisible force of some kind lifted him up into the air and put him back down at Jessica’s feet. She was certain that something had protected him from harm and that she had not just imagined what took place. At the time she did not really understand what happened, but looking back at it Jessica feels that her son was protected by the ETs who she/him were in contact with. Protection is not something which occurs all the time, but there are other contact cases where similar incidents have taken place. It suggests a positive link between the ETs and the individuals they make contact with. The Message & Howden Moor Abduction In mid March 1997, Jessica unfortunately suffered an ectopic pregnancy for the second time. She went to the hospital and was informed by the doctors that both her fallopian tubes were damaged and she would no longer be able to bear children. Within a week she was dismissed from the hospital and allowed to return home. Later that evening she was alone in bed recovering from her operation and having a drink of coffee. Suddenly she felt really calm, almost like she had been sedated. Even though she could not see anything, she felt something touching her hand and stroking her face. She then heard a voice directly inside her head. The voice was softly spoken and very calming. It said to her “Don’t be upset, everything’s going to be alright, we can help you”. The voice then went on to give her a particular location – a road near to Stocksbridge on Howden Moor, South Yorkshire (Unfortunately as it happened so long ago she cannot remember the exact road name). She was told to visit this location on a particular date and time. The date she was given was several days later, 24th March, and the time she was given was evening time after 6.30pm. She was not told the reason why she should do this. Everything then returned to normal and the presence in the room left. Jessica informed Steve, her partner at the time, about the message she had been given. When the date Jessica had been given came round, she and Steve discussed whether or not to go to the location the voice had mentioned. Steve felt that she had probably dreamed it, but Jessica insisted that she had been awake and that they drive out to the location out of curiosity. They headed out in the car, with Steve driving, Jessica in the passenger seat and Martin in the back. Aerial map of Howden Moor: When they arrived at the location it was already getting dark due to the time of year. They found themselves on a road with moorland to either side. There were very few cars on the road, and they could not see anyone else around. Steve parked the car in a lay by. They sat there a while talking. At first nothing out of the ordinary happened. Then suddenly the car began to shake, and they could hear tapping noises going all of the way around the outside. It felt like the car was going to be lifted up into the air. Jessica also saw that a mist had formed all around the car. It was not very thick, the surroundings could still be seen through it, but it was certainly noticeable. She and Steve tried the handles on the doors but for some reason could not open them, as if something did not want them to leave the car. This continued for anything up to 5 minutes, although Jessica says it may have felt longer than it actually was because of the situation. During this time she and Steve became more and more concerned and puzzled by what was happening. Then suddenly the mist seemed to fade away and they found they could open the car doors. Steve was frightened and did not want to get out, but Jessica stepped outside and took a look around, searching for a reason behind what had taken place. Looking up into the sky she saw what looked like a triangular-shaped craft. It looked dark navy in colour and had a very smooth surface. There were small coloured lights all around the edges of its base. The lights appeared brighter at the three corners, the ones in between seemed dimmer. They were pink, blue and red in colour. Jessica is not aware of what happened next. She believes she was taken by the craft and has had the memories of what took place removed. Witness sketch of the UFO: The next thing she became aware of, she was standing out on the moorland. Looking around she realised the car and road were not in sight. She felt dazed like she was in a trance. She noticed a lot of activity going on. Within a couple of hundred metres of her position were quite a few people wearing both military and police uniforms. They were holding torches and appeared to be looking for something. In the sky overhead she saw a number of helicopters with search lights on. At first she assumed that they were looking for her. However after watching for a short while she realised they were probably not, and also appeared not to have noticed her. Jessica did not approach the people as she was worried about their motives and what they were up to. She began to search around the nearby area for the road. Luckily she soon found it and got back to the car. She found Steve and Martin were sitting there, and like her appeared to be in a trance-like state. She got back in the car but because of how she was feeling did not speak to them, nor them to her. Jessica is unaware of how long they sat there for, but believes it was a while. When they came round and began to feel less dazed, they saw a number of military personnel a short distance in front of the car. Steve was interested to find out what was going on, so he got out of the car and began to walk towards them. Jessica also got out so she could hear what was being said, but she stayed back by the car. The personnel turned Steve away, telling him he could not drive further down the road and they needed to leave the area. He returned to the car and they decided it would be best to comply with their wishes. Steve turned the car around and they began to drive back home. On route, Jessica believes that she was abducted a second time, and this time possibly Steve and Martin were taken too. They were still all in a dazed state-of-mind so her memories of what happened are fragmented, but she remembers them all coming round to find themselves sitting in the car at the side of the road. They checked the clock in the car and were shocked to see it was now past 3.30am. It was obvious that quite a lot of time had gone by which could not be accounted for. They continued the rest of the drive home, but for some reason did not discuss what had happened with each other in much depth. The following day Jessica read a newspaper article which stated that something unusual had taken place on Howden Moor which had been witnessed by quite a number of people. There had apparently been lots of witnesses to low flying aircraft, a formation of jets, a glowing orange flash of light, plumes of smoke and loud noises like explosions. Jessica could see from the article that the military were covering up what happened, and believes the incident was in some way related to the craft she had seen and what had taken place. Because of the military involvement, she did not tell many people about what happened as she was worried she might get in trouble if she did. To Jessica's knowledge, after the newspaper article there was nothing else said about the incident and she never heard of it again. However in looking for information about the incident online, I came across a very detailed report on the case written by David Clarke and Martin Jeffrey, who had extensively looked into the incident over a period of two years. It turned out that several of the witnesses claimed to have seen a triangular-shaped UFO! After reports of low flying aircraft, a loud explosion, orange flash of light and plumes of smoke started coming in, various groups of individuals including the police force began a thorough search of the moorland, believing that an aircraft may have crashed. It is likely that the people and helicopters Jessica saw while up on the moor were one of these search parties. Apparently nothing was ever found which would indicate that something had crashed however a couple of sonic booms were recorded. These recordings, combined with the sheer weight of testimonial evidence caused many to question the MOD’s claims that no military operation had taken place. In the end the matter was taken up in parliament, at which point the MOD were forced to admit that there had in fact been an operation, although they would not state the reasons behind it. Could it be that the triangular craft which was seemingly there to abduct Jessica was the reason behind this massive incident? It is very interesting that numerous witnesses stated they had seen such a craft on the night, although the report does state that some of these sightings were probably misidentification of a V-shaped formation of jets. Perhaps the craft was detected by the military, who subsequently sent up jets to intercept it. Could this have been the cause of the sonic booms which were heard? And what can be made of the bright orange flash of light which lit up the moorland? Was the craft brought down and then the incident covered up? Did the UFO shoot down a jet that was chasing after it? The lack of signs of a crash does tend to point away from this explanation. Some individuals claimed that the craft or jet could have come down in Howden reservoir; however there were no oil slicks or floating debris found which would indicate this had happened. I contacted David Clarke to ask for his permission to use the excerpts from his report displayed below. David asked me to make it clear that his considered view is that the Howden Moor incident had nothing to do with a UFO, and can therefore have no connection with ET abductions. He also feels that Jessica knew more about the Howden Moor incident than she is letting on, and finds it suspicious that she would remember the specific date 13 years on. He also says that no military ground personnel were involved at any stage, and that if they were present they would certainly have been mentioned by the police, fire fighters or mountain rescue workers who assisted throughout the incident. These are valid points considering the fact that David thoroughly investigated the case from start to finish, but perhaps the presence of military personnel was covered up, or maybe they were kept separate from the other investigative forces and were not seen. So although some may feel this puts Jessica’s statement into question regarding what took place on the moor, I do not believe it invalidates it. Graham remembers Jessica speaking to him about what happened on numerous occasions. Martin also remembers being out in the car, though his details are not clear as he was young at the time. So there is more than just Jessica's testimony to go on. The Howden Moor incident is absolutely massive, and outside the scope of this report, so I thoroughly advise reading David and Martin’s report, which can be found at the following address: http://www.uk-ufo.org/condign/casehowd.htm As I wish to focus on the possibility that a triangular craft was involved, below are excerpts from the report on the incident mentioning UFO activity and such a craft: “7.40pm Sighting in police log from a Bryan Haslam of Keighley, West Yorkshire, who had seen an object in the sky while travelling from Sheffield station. He was in the Barnsley area when he saw “a triangle shaped object with lights all around it hovering...” The police log of the incident reads: “[caller] does not think it was a plane. Thinks we are wasting our time.” “A radio journalist from Hallam FM reported hearing “a loud humming noise” from above his car while comet-watching on the Peak District moors. This lasted 2-3 seconds, faded away and then returned, at one point “resembling a bird flapping its wings.” Despite pointing a torch skywards he was unable to see anything above him.” “Emma Maidenhead [pseudonym] at Dronfield heard two jet aircraft pass over her home just before 10pm, and went upstairs to the bedroom where she heard “a low humming noise.” Then she saw what she described as a triangle fly across the street.” “Martin Jeffrey: “I saw a triangle with the corners cut off. There were two pink lights on the front and I saw blue lights all around it. The triangle was a wide as the street; it was really bright and just above the rooftops. It flew pretty slow heading for the moors.” Max Burns describes the object Emma saw as a “huge triangular object, 2-300ft across” and said it passed over her house at a height of 200ft. He said it had pink/cerise lights around the front and “an almost blinding electric blue light underneath.” The UFO made a humming noise like an “like wet power lines/electrical substation.” She claimed the UFO lit up the whole street as bright as day. Less than a minute before this object disappeared towards the moors two more jet aircraft screamed overhead.” “Mr Grayson is described as having watched a huge triangular shaped UFO hovering silently for 15 minutes between 11.30 and 11.45 [while the search was on-going] at an altitude of 200ft, before it moved off while being shadowed by an “unmarked helicopter”. He is described as saying the object was “not of this world.” When asked in September 1998 if he had seen a triangular UFO Mr Grayson said unequivocally: “No I did not, and I have never claimed I had seen a triangular UFO.” “Claims have been made that a UFO was tracked on radar at 9.55 pm that night by the Royal Signals based at RAF Linton-upon-Ouse in North Yorkshire. The claim, made by Max Burns, is based upon information allegedly supplied by an un-named radar operator who was a school friend of a fellow DJ in Sheffield. Burns claimed this school friend had excitedly called up his colleague on the morning of March 25 and told him he had “tracked a UFO on his radar screen at 9.55 for a ten minute period the previous night, at the end of which the UFO had “shot off the screen.” When pushed for more information this mysterious radar operator allegedly said: “I am not allowed to discuss it and if I do I will be in breach of my national security oath.” This turnaround was claimed to be a direct result of the military authorities imposing a wall of silence around the case.” It is particularly interesting to note that some of the people who claim to have seen the triangular craft mention pink and blue lights on it, the same colours that Jessica described. Jessica feels certain that the ETs had communicated with her by telepathy and asked her to drive out to the location at that specific date and time. The reason behind this is not known, if the ETs wanted to abduct her, why not just take her from her own home as they had done previously? Perhaps she was meant to bear witness to something or be there for another as yet unknown reason. It is possible to speculate about many aspects, but as to what happened to Jessica and her family on that night we only have testimonial evidence to go on. Flying Triangle Abduction It was late 1997, 6-8 months after the incident on Howden Moor. Jessica had now split up from Steve and moved to a house on Baker Road, Creswell. She shared this house with her son Martin and house mate Mark. On the evening of the incident, her friend Paula was round to visit. Jessica and Paula decided they would walk to the nearby Co-Op to buy some food supplies. They set off from the house with Martin about 7.30-8.00pm. It was a clear still evening with only patchy cloud in the sky. Due to the time of year it was already dark, and the stars could be seen through the gaps between the clouds. The Co-Op was only five minutes walk from the house. They were heading along Dover Road, with the shop in sight at the T-junction ahead of them. As they were walking past the Old Comrades Social Club, suddenly Paula exclaimed “What’s the fuck’s that?” She pointed up into the sky. Jessica and Martin both looked up to where she was pointing. Hovering in the air a short distance above a building ahead of them off to the right was a black triangular-shaped craft. It had small coloured lights all along the edges of the underside which were red, pink, blue and purple colours. The lights appeared to be flashing then flickering in sequence. The triangle was equilateral. The craft was seen hovering above the building on the right: Due to the angle they were viewing it from it was hard to see anything other than the underside of the craft, but it wasn’t completely flat. The main body of the craft was a shiny dark navy colour. It was at least 30 feet in diameter, and was hovering still and was silent. Jessica could see it was quite similar to the craft she had seen several months previously, but was not identical. She looked down at Martin and then at Paula. Both of them were staring up at the craft transfixed by it. She looked back up at the craft. Suddenly there was a bright white flash. The next thing Jessica became aware of was of putting the key in the front door of her house. She turned the key and opened the door. Mark came to the hall way and asked where they had been for so long. Jessica replied they had just gone to get the shopping. So Mark asked where the shopping bags were. Jessica looked down and realised there were no shopping bags. She was highly confused as to what had taken place. Checking the clock she realised the time was now after 11.30pm. Three hours had gone by which neither she, Paula or Martin could account for. Jessica felt very tired and giddy, almost drained of energy. She soon found out that Paula and Martin also felt the same way. They discussed what had taken place but could not remember anything after looking up at the craft. An hour later she began to feel sick. Both her and Martin had nosebleeds. Paula decided to stop over at the house, and all three of them went to bed. In the middle of the night Jessica woke up and was sick. The following day, Paula was worried as she had started to bleed. Jessica asked if she had been pregnant and was having a miscarriage, to which Paula replied “I’m not pregnant!” She decided to go to the hospital to be examined. The doctors had checked her and found nothing which could account for the bleeding. It soon ceased, so they allowed her to return home. Her daughter rang Jessica to inform her everything was ok. Another two days went by and then the nightmares began. In these nightmares, which recurred over numerous days, Jessica saw herself lying down on a hard table of some kind. She was in a large open room, which had an adjoining corridor on one side. She felt cold and believes that she was unclothed. She was paralyzed. Around her were five or six Greys staring down at her. She could feel one of them stroking her head through her hair. She also felt one of them lifting up her legs. Above her was some kind of bright blue-white light. In the dreams she would shout at the beings in her mind saying “Give me back my baby!” She remembered the beings speaking to her using telepathy – their mouths did not move. She felt they were trying to comfort her, but when she awoke she couldn’t remember the words they were saying. As well as the Grey beings around her, she remembers seeing human-looking figures in the room as well. She became afraid of the dark in her room at night. A few days later, Paula came round to visit again. She told Jessica that she was having nightmares. Jessica asked her what of, and Paula said she kept having a dream of lying down on a table in a “hospital” and seeing creatures with big eyes looking at her. Jessica informed her that she too was getting similar nightmares. She did not tell Paula of her previous contact experiences with these beings, and that she was quite used to seeing them on a regular basis. To Jessica’s knowledge, Martin was not getting these nightmares nor seemed particularly upset by what had taken place. However about a week later she had a knock on the door. When she answered it she found it was her son’s teacher. She had come round to visit specially. She showed Jessica a number of drawings Martin had been doing. He had drawn pictures of Greys and of the triangular craft, about 20 in total. The only difference was that some of the Grey’s had bits of red in their eyes rather than being just black. He had also drawn pictures of a different kind of being that Jessica did not remember seeing – this being looked more lizard-like, with red and black coloured skin and spikes coming up from its shoulders. The teacher asked Jessica if she knew of a reason why he would be doing these drawings of “evil aliens”. Jessica decided not to tell the teacher about what had taken place, and informed her that she knew nothing about the drawings or why he would have drawn them. She kept hold of the drawings, but sadly they were lost when the family moved to their current address in Whitwell. However Martin drew me an example of how his drawings of the Greys looked: Jessica spoke with Martin and he did not seem frightened by what had happened, but was clearly remembering aspects of the experience in the same way that Jessica and Paula were in their dreams. It is likely the other type of being that Martin saw was a Reptilian. These are usually reported as having dark green coloured scaly skin, however they have been seen in a variety of colours. While Jessica did not recollect seeing these beings on this occassion she has since witnessed them in further abduction experiences. Drawing of one of the Reptilian beings witnessed by both Jessica and her son: Ever since the incident Jessica has suffered from anxiety and occasional panic attacks. She went to see a psychiatrist, but they could not determine the reason behind these episodes. She did not tell them about what had happened as she felt they would not believe her. Because they started after the flying triangle abduction incident, it is likely that this was the cause, even though she has experienced contact since her mid 20s. There were also other noticeable after effects. Jessica gained a fear of elevators, a fear she had not had earlier in her life. This fear continues to this day. It is common with contactees, and probably occurred because the feeling of being lifted up reminds her of being taken up into the craft. The entrance to the Meadow Hall supermarket in Sheffield also makes her feel very anxious. It has a large domed roof covered in white strip lighting. It is likely that this reminds her of something she has seen aboard the craft, such as the room she was taken to with the lights shining down from above. Up until our visit, this was all Jessica remembered about the incident. We decided this would be the most important incident to return to in the regression, especially due to the numerous people involved and several confirmed hours of missing time. When Jessica was regressed she remembered many fascinating details about what took place during this missing time. Regression Transcript Jessica’s regression was performed by Rob Tudge, a hypnotherapist who has assisted me with a number of cases involving contact. Rob is very experienced in regressing contactees, and assisted UFO Research Midlands (UFORM) for over ten years. The regression took place in Jessica’s bedroom. It went very well indeed and lasted 1 hours 14 minutes. We decided it would be best to focus on the flying triangle abduction incident described in the previous section. Below is the full transcript of the regression. It is interspersed with various drawings Jessica has done to illustrate certain aspects of what she remembers. After the transcript I give my views on what was revealed in it. Note that Rob was aware of what Jessica remembered about the experience beforehand, and we even visited the location where it took place earlier in the day. Towards the end of the regression he tried to get in touch with Jessica’s “higher self”, this is a technique that has been used by other hypnotherapists before and can sometimes reveal further details. R: So just breathe for me. Just breathe in, nice deep breath. And out again. And in, and as you exhale relax the muscles of your neck and across your back. Good girl. And again, relax the muscles across your back and your neck. And again. Keep going, that’s it, nice deep breaths. And the next time you breathe out I want you to relax the muscles across your forehead please. That’s fine. And when you breathe out I want you to relax all those tiny muscles around your eyes. And the next time you breathe out I want you to relax your jaw muscles. Just let go. And if your jaw wants to drop open that’s ok. And continue to breathe evenly and deeply. And the next time you exhale allow all the tension to go from your neck and your shoulders. Allow all the tension to leave your upper arms and your lower arms and your hands, as you exhale. Just breathe out and let all that pent up tension leave you. Just let it go, you don’t need it. Good. Just continue to breathe easily and deeply. And as you breathe out relax the muscles of your upper back. And your lower back. And your tummy. And your thighs. Just allow those muscles to let go completely. Any tension in your knees, in your calves, allow it to leave you as you breathe out. Breathing in calm, breathing out tension. That’s very good. And finally allow the muscles of your feet just to relax, and let go. And if there’s any remaining tension anywhere in your system now’s the time to just let it go. And now notice how much heavier your head feels against the pillow, how heavy your arms feel at your side, how comfortable you are. That’s good, that’s right Jessica. As I said before you’re in complete control. I want you to imagine you’re at the top of ten steps. And at the bottom of the steps you see a huge wooden door. In a moment or two you’re going to be going down the steps, but before you do so I’ll ask you to imagine a huge bubble of white around you. If you were to stretch out your arms to your left and your right you couldn’t touch the inside of the bubble. It’s above your head and below your feet, but you can’t see the lower half of it. So that’s your bubble of protection. And I want you to imagine little roots, little tendrils coming out from your heels, making their way down and down into the subsoil. And these little tendrils make their way into the bedrock. So that is your earth. You are connected to the earth. So you are protected and literally grounded. And you’ll be able to move without any let or hindrance within your bubble, and even with these little tendrils, these little roots following you. So you’re protected and grounded. And I want you to take your first step down into peace and tranquillity. And the second step down. Calm, comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease. And step number three. And four. Step number five, half way down now, towards the huge wooden door. Step number six. Seven. Eight. Almost there now. Nine, ten. You’re there. In front of you, you have that huge wooden door. You’re protected and grounded. In a moment I’m going to ask you to go through the door, before you do I’ll tell you what’s on the other side. It’s just a room. A neutrally coloured room. So open the door and step through into that room please. Close the door behind you. Ok, that’s good. So you’re inside this room, protected and grounded, and very shortly I’m going to be speaking to your subconscious mind. And I’m going to be speaking to your subconscious mind as if I’m speaking to another person. And I don’t want you to think about my questions nor consider the answers, just give them as quickly as they come. Very shortly your subconscious mind will present itself as a shape, a colour, a picture or a symbol. I’m going to count to three, snap my fingers, and your subconscious mind will present itself. One, two, three. Tell me what you have. C: Triangle. R: A triangle. Thank you subconscious mind for presenting in that way. Subconcious mind, would it be appropriate in safety and comfort to the incident that happened at Creswell. C: Yes. R: Thank you subconscious mind. Just relax and breathe evenly and deeply. So I’m going to ask you to go back to the the incident at Creswell. Imagine two hours before the incident took place. Describe what’s going on. Who’s with you there? C: Mark. R: Mhmm. C: Martin. R: Yes. C: Paula. R: Ok. C: Just people. R: Alright, so just people, Paula and Martin. What are you doing? C: Just talking. R: Just talking, ok. Is everybody together in one room? C: Martin’s not. C: She’s just still looking. R: Ok, the three of you are just looking. C: Saying “It’s not moving”. R: It’s not moving, it’s stationary. How high is it? C: Not much higher than the chimney. R: So there’s this black triangle, not very high, with lights yes? C: Yeah. R: What are the lights doing? C: They’re not really flashing, just... R: They’re not, not really flashing? C: Flickering. R: Not really flashing. But there are lights there, you can see them, and it’s black. Is there anything else you can see on the underside of this black triangle? Is it smooth? Is it rough? Has it got any marks on it? What can you see underneath? C: Just a few...like round circle thing in the middle R: Ok. That’s fine. Just looking at it the three of you? Are there any other people looking up at this thing? C: Mmm. R: Where are the other people standing? C: Near that shop. R: Near the shop mhmm. Are they clearly looking at the same thing? C: Yeah. Looking up. R: Ok. So you’re just looking at it. C: Mmm. R: What happens next? What happens next? C: I look...I look back up. R: You look back up yes. And what happens next? C: I can see them. R: Underneath. Underneath the triangle is that correct? C: Yep. R: So can you see the underneath of the triangle as you approach the thing that’s opened? What’s the surface that you’re looking at, tell me about the surface. C: It’s opened up in the middle underneath. R: It’s opened up in the middle just underneath of it, I see. C: I can see it now. You’re totally protected and grounded, I won’t let anyone hurt you do you understand? You’re totally protected and grounded. C: (Crying) They carried me towards them to see the lights. R: They carried you to see the lights, is that right? C: (Nods) R: Ok. Ok, this is just a memory, you’re just telling me about a memory. You’re perfectly safe, we will not let them hurt you, do you understand? This is just a memory. C: (Starts moving right arm) R: What’s happening to your arm? C: They’re picking me up. R: They’re taking your arms? Your arms? C: (Crying) R: I’m going to say freeze. Freeze. Freeze, they’ve gone to black and white, they’ve gone to black and white, everything’s quite still, everything’s quite still, you’re perfectly safe, the picture’s just frozen. You’re perfectly safe, it’s a picture you can see in black and white. What I want you to do now is just float your consciousness out of your body. Just allow it to rise and look down on the same scene. Just allow your consciousness to rise out of your body, and look back at yourself and tell me what you see in black and white. Look back at the scene, it’s in black and white and it’s stationary, and tell me what you see, now it’s frozen. You’re perfectly safe. You’re just looking at the scene. It’s in black and white, everything’s stationary, stopped, standing still, immobile. Just tell me what you see. Tell me what you see. C: Just dark. R: It’s gone dark again? C: No. It’s still there now. R: It’s ok, it’s ok. You’re perfectly safe, we’re just looking back. You’re looking back on the scene. There’s nothing moving, you’re just looking back at a black and white picture at present. Tell me what you see in this black and white picture. Just breathe, good girl, good girl, just breathe. Tell me what you see in the picture before you. Good girl, that’s fine, take as long as you need. That’s good. That’s fine. Tell me what you see in the picture, the black and white picture that’s in front of you. C: There’s...like a ball, glowing. R: There’s a ball glowing. Bring the colours back. Everything’s stationary, bring the colour back in. What colour is the glowing ball? C: White. R: White, good girl. And where is it, in relation to Jessica, because you’re separated, you’re looking back at this scene. Where is it? C: In front of me. R: It’s in front of Jessica. What do you think that white ball is doing? C: It protects me. R: It protects you. What else can you see that is around Jessica? Can you see anything around her? Is there still darkness, is it just the glowing ball, you tell me what you see, before we get things to move again. You’re just looking down on the scene, there’s nothing moving, we’ve froze the scene. Colours have come back, there’s a white ball glowing, just in front of Jessica, you can see that as you look down. What else is going on? C: Can see another light. R: Another light? Uh-huh, good. R: Quite a few, uh-huh. What are they doing? C: Looking at me. R: They’re looking. You’re detached. You’re looking down on this scene. Your consciousness has floated out of your body, you’re just looking back at Jessica. You’re perfectly safe, you’re protected and grounded, you’re just observing this, this is a memory you are observing, do you understand? Observing a memory, and they’re just looking at you. Things are moving slowly, very slowly, so you can describe to me exactly what’s happening. What’s going on now? Are they still in the same place or have they moved? C: They’re still there. R: They’re still there. Is Jessica standing up or lying down at present? C: Lying down. R: Lying down, ok. And there are quite a few of them round her. C: (Nods) R: Are they treating her with respect? Can you see that? Is she being treated with respect, because that’s very important. C: Don’t know. R: You don’t know. C: The ceiling. R: You can just see what’s going on? C: Ceiling. R: Did you say Jessica’s feeling sick? C: No ceiling... R: Oh, the ceiling is important? The ceiling. What’s happening on that ceiling? C: There’s a light. R: There’s a light up there. And what is it doing? Is it special? C: It’s like...a laser coming down on my body. R: A laser...a laser coming down? C: A light. R: A laser light comes down. Where does it touch Jessica? C: Down there (Gestures to lower abdomen) R: Down there, ok. That’s good, you’re just observing this, it’s just a memory you’re looking at. A laser light comes down, down below, is that correct? What colour is the laser light, can you see? C: Don’t know. (Crying) R: Is she in pain? Or is it upsetting to look at? C: (Shakes head) R: She’s not in pain. Good, she’s being looked after. That’s excellent, ok. She’s being treated with respect, yes? But there is a laser light, on her lower abdomen, is that correct? C: Yeah. (Nods head) R: And what colour is the laser light, can you tell... C: (Shakes head) R: You can’t tell me. C: It’s just...just...don’t know, it’s not white. R: It’s not white, ok, that’s fine. And those that are there, they’re just standing round watching this happen? C: Mmm. (Nods head) R: And how long does this go on for? Little while? C: (Nods head) R: Jessica’s not in any pain? C: (Shakes head) R: Excellent, that’s good. You’re just observing a memory, Jessica’s not in any pain at all, or discomfort, you’re just watching this lazer light on Jessica’s lower abdomen. These beings that you can see from up here, when you floated out of Jessica’s body, are they all the same? C: (Nods head) R: They’re identical. C: Mmm. R: What’s happening now? What’s happening now? Tell me what’s happening now. C: Don’t know. R: You can see something happening but you don’t know what it is, is that correct? C: (Nods head) R: Do you not recognise what’s happening now? What are they doing? You’re just observing, you’re completely safe, you’re protected and grounded, and Jessica is not in any discomfort whatsoever. You’re looking at a memory. That’s it, just breathe and tell me what you see happening now. Tell me what’s happening, what’s different? C: (Distressed) R: Just breathe, just breathe, and tell me what’s happening now. What are they doing? What’s happening to Jessica can you tell me. She’s very upset, tell me why. C: (Crying) R: Just breathe, just breathe, freeze, black and white. Just freeze, just black and white, no sound, no movement. You’re looking down on this scene from high up, there’s some beings round the table, Jessica is laid down, there is a laser light on her lower abdomen. It’s just black and white, there’s no movement. There was something else happened, you tell me what was that something else. Perfectly safe, Jessica is experiencing no discomfort, and you’re protected and grounded in complete and utter safety. Just tell me what’s been going on, in addition to the lazer light. Is it that you don’t understand what else went on, or you’re not permitted to tell me? C: It’s... (Crying) R: Ok, that’s ok, tell me what you want to tell me. C: It’s... R: That’s ok, just breathe and tell me what you want to tell me. Just breathe and tell me what you want to tell me. That’s a good girl. C: It’s took something from me. R: They’ve taken something, they took something from Jessica yes? C: Mmm. R: Ok, ok. Just breathe and relax, now you’ve seen that. Ok, they took something from you. Breathe in, relax, ok, ok. Do you want to tell me what it is they took from Jessica? Could you see what they took from Jessica? R: They’re just looking, you can’t see them doing...they’re just looking, is that correct? C: Don’t know what they’re doing. R: You don’t know what they’re doing, but they’re doing something? C: Mhmm. R: Are they close to Jessica? C: Some. R: Some are. Ok. You’re watching this in colour, moving on slowly. So there are some who look like us, and they’re standing around Jessica. Even if you don’t understand it, just tell me what you see happening there from your position up high, in complete safety, tell me what you see. C: Don’t know, it’s just a room. R: Just a room. Just tell me, you’re just looking at a memory, they can’t hurt you. I promise you, you’re absolutely safe and secure. Tell me what you see, the other things. C: They’re got babies in them, but not fully born. (Distressed) R: Babies in them. C: Foetus...some of them. (Crying) R: That’s ok, ok. Let’s move on, that’s disturbing to you, let’s move on to the next thing that you see. Move onto the next thing that you see. You’re in a position of safety, high above Jessica. No-one knows where her consciousness is, it’s in the room just looking back at her body, you’re in the room just looking back at Jessica’s body. It’s just lying there, suffering no discomfort and you’re just observing her. What happens next? C: Can still see that. R: You can still see that? Ok. Can Jessica see that, from where she is? C: (Nods head) R: Yes. C: Mmm. R: Is she moving, is she being moved? C: (Shakes head) R: No? She’s just there? C: (Nods head) R: And she can see the things in the tubes? C: (Nods head) R: Uh-huh, in the glass things. C: Yep. R: What colour are the things in the glass things? Can’t tell? C: Looks clear. R: It’s clear, ok. C: Like jam. R: Clear and like jam, that’s good, that’s fine. Does Jessica stay where she is or does she get moved? C: Stays. R: Still there in the same spot? C: (Nods head) R: Ok. What happens next? R: It’s always a blessing and a privilege to interact with children, to bring something to their lives, to take something of them with you, that’s always a blessing. That’s a gift. C: Mhmm. R: A marvellous gift. You’re looking down as Jessica’s detached consciousness, watching Jessica hold the hands of these children, and they’re smiling, Jessica is smiling and crying at the same time. What happens next? Tell me what happens next, if you can. Can you tell me what happens next? Is it that Jessica doesn’t want the children to go, is that what it is, she wants to keep hold of them? C: It’s changed into some kind of human, I don’t know... R: It’s changed into the shape of a human, is that correct? C: But not with skin. R: Ok. C: Just all colourful. (Gesturing hands in front of face) R: Is it beautiful to see? C: Mmm. R: Is the human looking back at you? C: (Nods head) It’s just like all his body’s (inaudible) (Gesturing up and down with hands) R: You can see inside his body, is that correct? C: (Shakes head) R: No? C: No...it’s... Higher self, what’s being done to Jessica at present, and why do they keep taking her? C: To go and see them. R: To go and see them. Why is it so important to go and see them for her? Higher self, can we ask that Jessica be allowed progress in all parts of her life? C: Ok. R: Higher self can we ask that Jessica can be inspired, inspired to progress, have have better regard for herself, or self confidence? C: Mhmm. R: Can she be unafraid? C: Mmm. Jessica I’ll ask you to speak to speak to your higher self, thank your higher self for all the work it’s done this afternoon to help you. C: Mmm. R: And I’ll ask you to thank your subconscious mind from the bottom of your heart for helping with this important work this afternoon, and you can do that now. Thankyou. And I’m going to ask you to come through that huge wooden door and stand at the bottom of those ten steps when you’re ready, and close the door behind you, and tell me when you’ve done that. C: Mmm. R: Thankyou, ok. You’re going to come up the stairs nice and slowly, ten to nine and eight, seven, six, half way back now, and bringing all those thoughts and feelings with you, five, four, three and two and one. You’re back. You are home, safe, secure. And when you’re ready and not before, come back to this room, revived, refreshed and wide awake. Don’t rush, take your time please, as long as you need. Regression Analysis As you can see, Jessica’s regression went extremely well, and she remembered many details about the experience that she had not previously known. Many of the things she spoke of are common with abductions and have been mentioned before by contactees. Jessica had not looked into contact experiences prior to the regression, so these similarities to other experiences are very impressive and are good evidence that the incident really took place. Under regression, Jessica remembered Greys actually coming down into the road in front of her, Paula and Martin. She then remembers floating up towards the craft, where upon a hatch opens in its base with white light inside. This is how contact experiences often begin, with a visitation by ETs who then accompany the contactee as they are taken up into the ship. The fact that there were other people over by the Co-Op also looking up at the craft at the time means that they may well have actually witnessed Jessica, Paula and Martin being taken up into the craft. These memories were probably subsequently removed from their minds and they too experienced missing time, though it is very unlikely we will ever know for sure. Jessica does not mention Paula or Martin at all throughout her regression. It is almost certain that they too were abducted, due the after effects they suffered, the nightmares and the drawings that Martin drew at school (see earlier). However they were probably taken to a different room on the ship to where Jessica was taken. Once aboard the craft, she found herself surrounded by Greys who were holding her arms. After the regression she informed me she was paralyzed and floating in the air between them. In the regression Jessica mentioned that they “took her to see the lights”. If this and what she described from her nightmares are looked at together, we can presume that the lights she was speaking of were those above the hard table she was laid down upon, and that she was led down the corridor into the room. At this point she became quite distressed for the first time, and Rob had to temporarily pause the memories she was re-experiencing. After continuing, the first thing Jessica speaks of is a glowing white orb hovering in front of her. At first I thought she may be referring to the bubble of protection that Rob had got her to envisage around herself. Indeed when Rob asked what the orb was there for she informed him that “it protects her”. However she mentioned the orb again later in the regression, and it certainly seemed to be a valid part of her experience. Many contactees have reported seeing glowing orbs of light during their experiences aboard craft, and also around their homes. The one that Jessica experienced seemed to be a living ET entity (see later). Next Jessica described a machine coming down from above and shining a laser/light onto her lower abdomen. Under regression she could not describe the colour but afterwards informed me it was a pale brown coloured light. This machine then extracted a foetus from her. Jessica became very distressed at this point, and it is not known if the laser actually cut into her or if the foetus was somehow removed from her without breaking the skin. This experience has been described by female contactees before, and certainly means that Jessica is part of the ongoing hybrid breeding program, one of the known agendas of the ETs. They often appear to use females as a carrier for hybrid embryo’s, created from a mix of their own and the mothers DNA. After the foetus reaches a certain stage of development the contactee is then re-abducted and the foetus removed. It then is placed in a clear cylinder filled with liquid of some kind, where it continues to develop into a hybrid baby. After talking about the laser, Jessica describes seeing these cylinders, some of which seemed to contain human babies, others hybrids or small Greys. The cylinders appeared to be filled with a clear gel-like substance. Just as in her dream, Jessica then describes seeing human-like beings as well as the Greys around her. The humanoids appear to be assisting the Greys with their work, although Jessica was not able to determine which group was in charge. It is possible that these humanoids were Nordics, another species commonly reported by contactees. In a number of cases these beings have been seen to stand watch while the Greys perform the work. Some believe that the Greys have even been bio-engineered by the Nordics to work for them, however the Greys certainly possess intelligence and appear to have their own agendas. The next event that Jessica describes took us by surprise as this was the first time she had mentioned it at all. She remembered a number of “strange looking children” who entered the room and approached her. They stood around her and took turns in holding her hands. At this point of her experience, Jessica was noticeably happy. These children were hybrids – half Grey, half human. During the regression she did not sense any familiarity with them, but afterwards she felt that they must have been her own offspring. Similar things have happened in many other cases – the Greys often bring the hybrid to their human mother. This is sometimes done when the hybrid is just a baby, or other times when they are infants. Some contactees have even met with adult hybrid beings aboard craft. This It is more than likely done as a bonding exercise, they seem very interested in our emotions as a species and do not seem to express emotions as outwardly as we do. After describing the hybrid children, Jessica then spoke more of the glowing orb of light. This apparently transformed into a being. It had a human-like shape but appeared to be made up of light of numerous colours. Jessica commented on how beautiful this being appeared numerous times. This was the last thing she described from the experience, as with many contact cases Jessica did not remember how she left the craft. Rob brought her forward to the first conscious memory she had following the experience – putting the key in the door of her house. He then went on to attempt to speak to Jessica’s “higher self”. In some cases this can even allow the hypnotherapist to apparently converse directly with the beings the individual is in contact with, however I do not feel that this took place here. She did inform us that she was being taken to “go and see them” and to help her learn things, but she did not provide answers in much depth. Most questions she was asked she just nodded in agreement to. I felt that although this section of the regression was interesting, it did not provide us with much more information we had not already heard. Going forward it would be great to regress Jessica on some of her other contact experiences. I am certain she has many other memories of her experiences which she cannot consciously remember at present. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to do so. Ongoing Contact Since the flying triangle abduction in 1997, Jessica has had many other contact experiences, especially since moving to her current address in Whitwell. In recent years they have occurred on roughly a monthly basis. Most of her experiences are very similar to her initial contact experience. They can happen any time either day or night. She is usually either sitting somewhere or lying in bed, but on a couple of occasions has even been standing up. The incidents are usually preceded by strange electrical activity around the house – lights flicker, electrical equipment turns on and off of its own accord, the TV changes channel by itself or displays interference. This activity has been seen by her husband and son, although they have never actually witnessed Jessica being taken, this tends to happen when she is alone. Sometimes Jessica’s experiences are preceeded by white flashes of light that appear to come from other rooms in the house. She can often sense a presence around her, or feels that something is about to take place. Jessica’s contact experiences usually start in the same way, she hears strange noises such as buzzing and clicking, sees a bright white flash of light and then finds she is paralyzed, with one or more Greys standing in front of her. Sometimes the beings actually reach out and grab hold of her hands, other times they just seem to stare at her. On a number of occasions she has began to physically lift up into the air. One time when she was lying down she actually floated right up to the ceiling and was staring directly up at it. Jessica is certain that sometimes the Greys have spoke to her using telepathy and that she has responded to them. However she can never remember what they have said after the experience. During most of her experiences she cannot remember going anywhere else, she just remains paralyzed with the beings in front of her for a time and then suddenly they are gone and she can move again. However on the times she has checked the clock, she has found that between 45-90 minutes has gone by which she cannot account for. She feels certain that during these experiences she is taken somewhere else, but the memories have been blocked out. Sometimes she cannot remember any of the experience at all, she just realises she has had missing time. She rarely tries to fight against the experiences from taking place. She feels she has no control over them and that if they want to take her they will do so. It has happened so many times that she is used to it and just accepts it when it happens. Shadow Being When I interviewed Jessica’s son Martin, he informed me that although he had never witnessed his mum being taken or missing from the house, he once saw a dark shadowy figure move past his open bedroom door heading in the direction of Jessica’s room. Martin’s drawing of the shadow being: Apparitions such as this have often been witnessed by contactees, and certainly appear related to their experiences. He shrugged the incident off as his imagination, but the following day Jessica informed him she had had an experience after the time the figure was seen. The Portal In 2006 Jessica was living with Martin in a house on Cobden Road, Chesterfield. One day something very unusual took place. Jessica was in the kitchen when she suddenly noticed something strange out of the corner of her eye. At first she thought it was some kind of reflection coming through the kitchen window. It looked like something translucent spiralling round in the air. Aerial map of Cobden Road: She called for Martin who came through to the kitchen and also saw it. They stood there for a couple of minutes wondering what it was. Jessica felt that it may be some kind of portal. She was thinking about touching it or throwing something into it, but didn’t dare as she was scared something might happen, so instead her and Martin ran out of the kitchen. Later on she checked and it was no longer there. Witness drawing of the “portal”: This was a truly bizarre anomaly. The fact that it was witnessed by Martin as well as Jessica shows that it was not just her imagination, whatever it was it certainly appeared to be present. Considering the fact that both Jessica and Martin are contactees, it seems likely that it was in some way linked with their experiences. Perhaps it was some kind of doorway through which something was trying to come through. Or could it have been an energy field of some kind? There is also the possibility that it was something else paranormal but not linked with ET contact, such as a ghostly apparition. Psychic Gifts Jessica has had premonitions of future events on quite a number of occasions. When these premonitions take place, she not only sees a vision of what is going to take place but also actually experiences emotions like she is really there. As a recent example, on the morning of 2nd June 2010 Jessica had a premonition of the Derrick Bird shootings in Cumbria five hours before they took place. She has also had visions of other disasters such as the Concorde crash. In this vision she saw burning bodies falling to the ground. A day later the crash occurred. The premonitions take place at random and she has no control over them. She sees what is going to happen but has no clue as to where and when, sometimes not even to whom. They do not always occur right before the actual event, sometimes they can be a while before. Sometimes Jessica never finds out whether what she has seen has actually taken place. They are not always of massive disasters; they can sometimes be of things which affect her or the people around her. On one occasion she predicted that someone her husband knew was going to die and that it would be something to do with their chest / heart. Graham informed me that one of his friends had a bad chest and was always coughing. He spoke with him and asked him if he was feeling alright and he said he was fine. About a week later he rang him up, and when he answered he told Graham that another of their friends had caught influenza, it had gone to their chest and they had died. Jessica also sometimes sees apparitions of people who have passed on. On one occasion she saw a woman standing behind her husband. She described her to him and he informed her it was his ex-girlfriend who had died of cancer. Jessica had never met her or seen a photograph of her. On another occasion she saw her own mother standing in the lounge behind one of the sofas. She looked younger than she had been when she died. Jessica was able to converse with her, and her mum informed her not to worry and that she was always there and watching over her. Jessica even tried to touch her and her hand passed through. She was not frightened on this occasion, though she is sometimes scared of the apparitions because she does not know who they are. Sometimes Jessica senses emotions of people she is in close proximity to, even people she does not know. She finds it hard going to places where there are crowds such as supermarkets because of the emotions that she gets bombarded with. These incidents certainly suggest that Jessica has heightened senses and certain psychic abilities. Many contactees seem to possess abilities such as these, and it is likely that it directly related to her contact experiences. Whether it is a “gift” that is given on purpose by the ETs, or just a side effect of contact is not really known, but the amount of times it is mentioned cannot be ignored. Electrical Activity Another strange phenomena which sometimes occurs in Jessica’s presence is that when she gets angry electrical equipment can be affected or even break completely. This was verified by her husband and son who have seen this occur numerous times. Jessica has apparently made lightbulbs flicker or blow, and caused the kettle to stop working more than once. A number of years ago they went to the Robin Hood Experience in Nottingham, and the rides kept on starting of their own accord and breaking in Jessica’s proximity. In the end she was actually asked to leave because of it! Martin is scared of her touching his Playstation in case it breaks, and he has asked her not to touch it. Another Orange Sphere On Sunday 29th August 2010, Graham went out to Whitwell Social Club to meet up with some friends. It was a clear and dry evening with patchy cloud in the sky. Photograph of Whitwell Social Club: Mid-evening he went outside to the car park for a cigarette. He looked up towards the North and noticed a glowing orange orb of light. It looked extremely similar to the object he had seen back in 1984/85. It was hovering completely still in the sky, quite close to a tall chimney in the area. It was a constant brightness, had well defined edges and did not flicker at all. Photograph of the sighting location with the orange sphere added to it: Graham watched the orange orb for about 30-40 seconds. Then suddenly it massively accelerated and shot away to the East. This acceleration was instant and there was no advanced warning it was going to take place. The UFO was only visible for a second before it was lost from sight. This is a fascinating sighting, and due to the movement patterns observed, the object cannot have been a Chinese lantern. Lanterns are usually responsible for orange orbs of light seen after dark, however they cannot travel extremely fast, and tend to slowly drift in still weather conditions rather than hover completely still. The manoeuvre the object performed also means it could not have been a conventional aircraft or helicopter, some sort of radio controlled model, an LED balloon or other lit inflatable. The fact that it remained hovering for a while means it cannot have been a meteorite. The Triangle Returns In the early hours of 9th September 2010, only a few days before Rob and I drove up to interview and regress Jessica, the flying triangle from her previous experiences was seen again in close proximity to the house. It was witnessed by both her and Martin. Jessica was up late and sitting in the lounge. Just before 3am, the TV suddenly came on and then went back off by itself. She went into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee and put the kettle on. When she walked near to it, it started making strange electrical noises which sounded a bit like radio interference. She became very un-nerved and decided to ring her friend who works night shift. While on the phone she walked back into the lounge and then started to feel the familiar feeling of a presence around her. She sometimes gets this just prior to experiencing contact. Suddenly Jessica saw a white flash of light from outside of the window. Her friend asked her to check out of the window. Initially she was too scared and refused, but in the end she did take a look. A short distance from the house hovering no more than 100 feet in the sky was a black triangular-shaped craft. It looked the same as the one which had taken her at Cresswell, with the blue, purple, red and pink coloured lights on its underside. She told her friend that it was outside (Jessica has told her friend previously about her contact experiences). View from the window where the craft was situated: Jessica was frightened, so she ran into her son’s bedroom and woke him up. This shocked him quite a bit and he jumped up not knowing what was going on. She took him to the window and showed him the craft outside. Amazingly he saw it but wasn’t that bothered by its presence and just went back to bed! This isn’t as ridiculous as it may sound. I spoke directly to Martin on the 12th and he informed me that he felt it was not going to do anything. It was far enough away from the house to not be bothered by it. He remembered it from 1997 so it was nothing new to him. He tried photographing it on his mobile but sadly an orange street light close to the window meant it did not come out on the photo. Martin was so tired all he cared about was getting enough sleep before morning, so he then headed back to bed. Jessica wanted to go outside and either photograph or video the UFO, but she was too frightened. She spoke with her friend and was advised to stay inside the house. Unlike Martin, Jessica could not go to sleep knowing that the craft was in the area. She kept checking out of the window and looking at it. It gradually got closer to the property but kept remaining stationary in the sky for long periods of time. After about two hours had passed, she looked outside and could no longer see the craft, it appeared to have left the area. She remained on the phone to her friend till 6am. A short while later Graham got up to go to work and wondered why the window was wide open with the net pulled back. Jessica explained to him what had happened. This is a fascinating incident, and I feel that the craft was more than likely in the vicinity to abduct Jessica or Martin again, but for whatever reason did not. Jessica experienced some of the signs that contact was imminent but she is sure that she did not experience paralysis or missing time. Perhaps contact was interrupted because of the fact she rang her friend or woke up her son. It is amazing it happened so close before mine and Rob’s visit, this is probably just coincidence. After speaking with both Jessica and Martin about the incident I am certain that it took place as discussed. Abduction Video? On 27th September Jessica E-Mailed me to say she had found an unusual video clip recorded on her mobile phone. The clip was apparently recorded at 6.08pm on the 9th September, the evening after the triangle UFO had been seen hovering near to the house. Jessica could not remember recording the video, and was not aware that any contact experience had taken place on that date. The video only lasts for several seconds. It has been filmed in the living room apparently from one of the couches. It is facing the TV. There is some strange interference which is causing the video footage too wobble in an unusual way, both up and down as well as side to side. Also interference can be seen on the TV screen. Three quarters of the way through the clip, there is a pronounced click noise and the TV channel changes. There is then another noise that sounds like something being put down or dropped, and the angle of the camera moves slightly up. Jessica informs me that the click noise is very similar to what she hears when she undergoes a contact experience and finds she is paralyzed. Below is the video clip: The footage is quite intriguing. Obviously something like this could be easily faked, but there would be no real reason for Jessica to hoax this video clip, she is not gaining anything from it at all. I asked Jessica to create two new videos for me at the same location using the same mobile phone. She had no issue with doing this for me and sent them straight through via E-Mail. When she did so I could see that the name of the original video was in the same format as the two new ones. In the first video I asked her to hold the phone still. This video is shown below: In the second video I asked her to deliberately move the phone and shake it back and forth. This video turned out as below: At first glance, the original video appears to have unusual distortion throughout, with the screen moving both up and down, and left and right. However towards the end of the camera shaking footage you can see that a similar effect is visible. This means that the "distortion" seen in the original could just be down to an unsteady hold on the phone. Although the clicking sound at the end of the footage reminded Jessica of the noise she sometimes hears just before a contact experience, the same sound can be heard on the other videos, so it is just the sound of the video being stopped on the phone, nothing more. After careful analysis by both myself and video expert Winston Keech, there appears to be nothing else out of the ordinary on the footage. Could this really be a video taken by Jessica directly before or after she had a contact experience, one which was then wiped from her memory? Although this video cannot be put forward as hard proof, it is interesting none the less. Daytime Abduction On Saturday 9th October 2010 it seems that Jessica was once again taken. This was the first time she had been taken since our visit. I was wondering for a time whether our visit and regression would change or even cease her contact experiences; however this does not seem to be the case. Around 2pm Jessica decided to head out into Whitwell to a cash machine near a local shop. She went on her own as Graham was busy on the Playstation. She never made it to the cash point, and did not return home. Graham thought she was out seeing a friend so got on with his day like usual. Martin was worried and tried phoning her but it said her phone was off. Later he found Jessica’s phone at the bottom of the stairs, which is odd in itself because Jessica was convinced that she had had it on her when she left the house. Perhaps it had fallen out though - this is probably what happened regarding this aspect of the incident. Martin felt sure that the reason she had not returned was because she had been taken again. The next thing Jessica became aware of, she was walking through a park near to her house, feeling very disoriented. She checked her watch and it said it was 3.30pm. This was clearly incorrect, as it was starting to get dark so was evening time. She felt tired and sick, similar to how she always feels after experiencing contact. She had no idea why she was at her current location, so walked back home. When she got back she informed Graham and Martin about what had happened. She checked the clock, it was around 7.35pm. This meant her watch was running 4 hours slow, though it was still ticking like normal. This was strange as she had been missing for 5 and a half hours. She felt very tired so went to sleep without having any food. Later she got up and had a snack, but still felt sleepy. She slept for most of the following day. By Sunday evening she was no longer feeling sick or tired. However soon after she started to get flashbacks and dreams to what had taken place during the missing time. Again she saw Greys, but this time there were two types, the one’s she had seen before, and other ones which looked taller and more stockily built. These different Greys were wearing tight black clothing covering them right up to the base of the chin. She remembered seeing the glowing being and rounded room again like in the regression, but this time she was not lying down on a table but was standing freely. She remembers looking up and seeing strange symbols on the ceiling of the room. She describes them as being like backward S shapes close together. Witness drawing of the new type of Grey being: On Monday morning, Graham noticed two sore looking marks on Jessica’s back. They did not look particularly artificial, so Jessica did not take a photograph of them. By later that day the markings had seemingly disappeared. I have asked her to take a photo of any other markings she gets going forward. It is possible that these markings were something to do with her abduction, but far from a definite. Jessica wonders why with this incident she did not remember anything that had taken place. Usually she remembers seeing warning signs and feeling a presence, then gets paralyzed and sees the Grey beings in front of her for a time. It felt to her that her experience had changed in some way. This was also the longest amount of missing time she has yet experienced. She feels that she is no longer being used for the breeding program, but she does not know where this feeling has come from. She just wishes she knew more about what they wanted from her and why they have taken her for so many years. Once again this is a very interesting incident, and I feel sure that Jessica was abducted on this occasion, seemingly for quite some time. It appears that she was taken outside in daylight hours, this is quite unusual as most of the time contact takes place at night time. The fact her watch was four hours slow after the experience but that it was still working fine suggests that for Jessica time either stopped completely or slowed down dramatically. Or perhaps the craft or the abduction experience caused it to temporarily stop working. Bedroom Visitation On the morning of Wednesday 20th October it appears that both Jessica and Martin were probably taken from their home. It was between 9.30-10am. Graham had already left the house. Jessica was sitting on the settee in the living room reading a newspaper, while Martin was having a lie in after a late night. Suddenly Jessica heard noises that sounded like something speaking in an unidentifiable language. The noises came from behind the settee but definitely sounded like they were in the room. Before she could turn around she then felt the familiar feeling of floating, and knew that a contact experience was imminent. This was the last thing she remembered taking place. Martin was lying in his bed asleep. Suddenly he heard Jessica shouting from the door of his bedroom “Mart look up!” She then followed this with “Don’t take him! Leave him alone!” Then suddenly the covers of his bed were pulled downwards forcibly, exposing him. He was lying face down at the time, but when this happened he rolled over to see what was happening. In front of him in the room was a tall Grey being, about 5.5 feet in height. It appeared to be unclothed and other than the height difference looked similar to the Greys he had seen at Creswell, with the pale grey coloured skin and large slanted black eyes. Martin’s drawing of the Grey in his bedroom (In reality it was facing towards him not away): The Grey was staring down at him. Behind it he could see Jessica standing in his bedroom doorway. The being then reached out towards him with its long slender arm. He did not remember anything else taking place. At 11am he suddenly jumped up out of bed with a start. He felt dazed, almost like he was in a trance. He remembered what had happened, but assumed that it had just been a dream. He thought nothing more of it, and got ready to go to work. He did not speak with Jessica before leaving the house. Jessica is not sure what time she awoke but she feels it was probably at a similar time to Martin. She found herself kneeling on the living room floor in front of the settee. She too felt strange. An hour later she began to feel sick and her legs were shaky. She was certain that a contact experience had taken place, but could not remember any of the details. She did not remember going to Martin’s room and shouting at the Grey. At work Martin still felt unusual and dazed, and was actually told off for not working hard enough. However he did not come home till the evening. When he did, he heard Jessica speaking on the phone to a friend, telling them about what had happened. At this point Martin understood that it had not been a dream and that both he and his mum had probably been abducted. Once she was off the phone he told her about what he could remember. In the days following the incident, Martin left his light on at night and was worried that the Grey was going to return. He also rearranged his bedroom, something Jessica informed me he would rarely do. While Martin did not recall anything else, Jessica began to have flashbacks both during her sleep and while she was awake. In these flashbacks she saw herself standing in a barren landscape made of orange-coloured rock, with tall rounded boulders higher than her. Surrounding her was a number of the taller Greys in black clothing, who she had originally seen on 9th October. She also remembered being in a cave of some kind. Contactees often report seeing visions of barren rocky landscapes. This does not necessarily mean they have actually been taken to and stood on an alien world, they may just be shown visions of where the ETs they are in contact with have come from. Or perhaps it is somewhere else entirely, a planet they feel is important for some reason or even the future of our own planet. Witness drawing of the orange rocky planet: As with many of her experiences, Jessica cannot remember anything else and it appears that memories have been removed. At some point going forward we may arrange for another regression to see if she can remember further details. Conclusion As Jessica’s and Martin’s experiences appear to be ongoing, I am sure this is far from the end of the story. This is truly one of the most impressive contact cases I have yet investigated, and I would like to thank them both for their openness and honesty in sharing this information with me, and in turn giving me the opportunity to share it with you. I certainly believe Jessica to be a genuine repeat contactee. She has nothing to gain from sharing the details of her experiences with me, she is not seeking attention or after money. I believe that she has been in contact with the Greys since her 20’s, possibly earlier. From what she remembered during the regression, she also seems to be part of the hybrid breeding program. Her part in the Howden Moor incident is fascinating and suggests that, just as other witnesses believed, a triangular UFO was involved and there may well have been a military cover up. It is also clear that Martin may well have been taken on a number of occasions. Due to the probability that Jessica and Martin will have further contact experiences, there remains the ongoing possibility they may be able to one day capture some hard evidence such as photographs or video footage of the beings. I am excited by this prospect, and await the time when this may become a reality. Whether or not this ever occurs, any further experiences which Jessica or Martin decide to share with me will be added to this report, so keep an eye out. I hope that through speaking with me in depth about her experiences, and being regressed by Rob, Jessica has come to understand what is happening to her in more clarity. Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 23/08/2012 In early July 2012 a crop formation appeared in a wheat field close to the village of Corley in Warwickshire, England. Spanning nearly 150 feet across it is regarded as one of the largest and most impressive crop formations to appear in the UK in 2012. The formation was a circle containing a symmetrical star-like pattern made up of diamonds and triangles. Many of the formations which turn up in fields each summer tend to be situated around Wiltshire. However the relatively close proximity of this formation to Birmingham meant that I, my father, brother and friend couldn’t resist going and taking a look at it directly! We did not visit the formation until 23rd August, so were pleased to find that it was still present in the field and had not been harvested. We parked up on Tamworth Road which leads into Corley. The formation was immediately quite visible from the road side. A well trodden footpath led directly down between the fields so it was quite easy to get close to the formation before actually having to make our way through the crop. On the way we came across a strange clump of off-white coloured fibres. At initial glance it almost looked like a dead sheep, and due to the situation an animal mutilation immediately sprang to mind! However it turned out to be little more than a large lump of discarded insulation. A couple of minutes later and we reached the edge of the formation. Some people report feeling unusual energies when they enter such formations. I have to admit there was none of that, though it was quite impressive to look at even at ground level. The wheat was neatly flattened in flowing paths between the areas of crop left standing. I don’t pretend to be an expert on this particular area of Ufology, but I am aware of many of the unusual aspects which have been detected inside some formations. Looking closely at the crop there was no sign of any heat damage to the nodes, it just appeared they were bent sharply at ground level. We explored the formation and got some photos at the centre. My friend Chris attempted to take some EMP readings using a mobile phone sensor app, to mixed results. To be fair even if there had been detectable readings the app was probably far too inaccurate to pick them up. After about 20 mins we decided to take our leave before the farmer turned up with a shotgun! My overall impression was that the formation was probably man-made. It’s no secret that there are very extensive crop circle making groups using advanced techniques. I’m sure they love nothing more than hearing researchers provide viewpoints and theorise on the meaning behind their hard work. Don’t take this statement to mean that I don’t believe there is anything in the crop formation phenomenon. I have seen some very interesting evidence pointing towards a much more unusual explanation in certain specific cases. Whatever the explanation, it was fascinating to check out a formation up close and I can certainly recommend that you do the same if you get a chance. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 14/08/2012 On the evening of Saturday 28th July 2012, BUFOG organised a UFO sky watch at Cannock Chase. It was a great evening (click here for the official review). While no UFOs were seen while on the watch, two of the attendees Dave and Rob did see something unusual while on their way back home! Sighting Details It was around 1.30am when the witnesses stopped for a cigarette roughly a mile and a half away from Dave’s house. They parked at the edge of the A34 by the entrance to the Monkey Forest Park on the Trentham Estate. The weather was relatively clear and still, with only partial cloud cover. Aerial map of the sighting location: As they were looking into the sky, they suddenly noticed a bright white light appear to the North. The light appeared to be a couple of miles from their position. It stayed lit for several seconds and then gradually started to fade in brightness. But just before it disappeared a second white light appeared very quickly to the left of it, then both lights vanished. Both the witnesses saw the lights, and because of what they had attended earlier were quite spooked by what they had seen. From this picture it is clear to see the distance between the lights: About two minutes later an aeroplane appeared above them out of the clouds. It is not out of the question that this could have been responsible for the lights seen, however the lights had not appeared to be moving in their direction. Also they had appeared too far spaced apart to have both been due to the plane. Whether this was the explanation for the lights, it was still exciting to have seen something. Sighting Analysis Even though the aeroplane could have been the cause of the lights, this is still an interesting sighting. Usually when viewing aircraft after dark it is possible to see other navigation lights such as red and blue, and the flashing strobes at the wing tips. That said, sometimes at a distance these other lights can get masked. Also when a plane is travelling in your direction it sometimes appears that it is hovering completely still until it gets closer and the angle starts to change. As there was partial cloud cover, the plane could have gone behind the cloud, causing the visible lights to vanish. That said, in looking at the photographs with lights drawn on top provided by Dave, it is clear that they were too far spaced apart to have both been caused by the plane. Even if one of the lights was on each wingtip, the plane would still have had to have been quite close to their position, at which point it would have clearly been seen. Therefore, while the plane could explain one of the lights, it cannot really explain both. While this may have been the explanation for what was seen, there are still some mysterious aspects to this incident. On Saturday 28th July 2012 BUFOG returned to Cannock Chase for another sky watch, at the same location as the previous one back in September 2011. The evening was a great success, despite the fact we saw no UFOs (at least over the Chase anyway). So you’re no doubt wondering “How can a UFO sky watch be a success without any UFOs?” Well read on to find out... The initial meeting point for the sky watch was the bar at The Barns, a hotel complex on Cock Sparrow Lane. My brother and I arrived there around 8pm and soon met up with BUFOG members Tom and Paul. Soon we were joined by other members Terry, Adam and his family, and other attendees of the sky watch Dave, Rob, Kevin and Gary. We soon discovered that Paul had very kindly brought with him some disposable BBQs and food for everyone to share. Things were looking up! After chatting about UFOs for a couple of hours over a drink, and discussing each other’s interesting experiences, we headed off for the sky watch location off Broadhurst Green Road. We left the bar in a convoy and within five minutes drive arrived at the lay by at the base of the hill where the sky watch was due to take place. Everyone was in high spirits, and the weather was also pretty clear. It was a still night with only partial cloud cover, giving a clear view of a large proportion of the sky. The moon was also clearly visible. The mood of a sky watch is entirely dependent on the weather so I was pleased to see it was behaving itself. Adam’s family had decided to walk from the bar so he remained behind for them while the rest of us headed off along the path leading up the slope. It was pretty dark but most of us had brought torches to light our way. Good thing too ‘cause at one point there was a giant heap of horse manure in the middle of the path! The area was a lot more overgrown than it had been the previous year, with lots of short pine trees alongside the path and tall heaps of timber. We made our way up to the top of the hill to give us the best view of the surrounding area.The chosen location was alongside some trees so there wasn’t a full 360 degree view of the sky but we still had a good view of a large proportion of it. We set down our bags and stared up at the stars overhead, while Paul busied himself setting up the BBQs. It wasn’t long before someone spotted a satellite crossing the night sky, the first of many that would be seen. Initially not everyone could see where we were looking at. Fortunately Terry had brought with him what had to be the most powerful laser light I’ve ever seen! This thing made a clearly visible bright green beam which headed up into the sky for what seemed like miles. I’m pretty sure it actually bounced off the satellite he pointed it at. Either way, there was absolutely no question where it was in the sky! Several shooting stars were also seen throughout the watch, although every time I was looking the wrong direction and missed them. We busied ourselves chatting about many different aspects of the UFO subject. The banter is half the fun of a sky watch, and I was happy with how friendly and talkative everyone was. Soon enough the food was ready – kebab sticks and chicken drummers all round. Top quality food from Paul, the BBQ king of the evening! We continued to watch the sky for anything out of the ordinary, but the only aerial craft seen were occasional high altitude plane on their flight paths. At one point I caught a glimpse of a pale floaty looking thing down by the trees at the edge of the wooded area we were standing near to. Was this an other-worldly entity making its presence known to us? Or was it merely Kevin’s coat hung on a nearby branch? I’ll leave it you to decide... Some of the crew decided to head off by about 11.30pm, with others leaving later. But I, my brother, Kevin and Paul remained at the location till about 2am. It was a very pleasant night and we had no real reason to leave. When there was just the four of us things were much quieter, and every little sound from the undergrowth could be heard. At one point several of us caught a glimpse of something white amongst the nearby bushes. We shone a torch over and couldn't make anything out, but I'm sure it was an animal of some kind. However we did find a fascinating sign in the undergrowth, as shown below (and not in any way doctored on Paintshop). Eventually we decided to call it a night and headed back down to the cars. There was one more discovery to be made before proceedings drew to a close. At the edge of the lay by we discovered a cardboard box filled with some unusual junk. There were number filled ledgers, fishing magazines, letters and even a DVD of the old sit-com “On The Buses”. Very random stuff to have been fly tipped I'm sure you’ll agree! After reading about the merits of carp fishing for a short while, we got back in the car and headed for home. UFO sky watches are as much about socialising with a group of like minded people as they are actually spotting unusual aerial objects. So despite the fact we didn’t see anything over the Chase everyone left feeling that the night had been a great success. I hinted towards the start of this report that UFOs were seen at some point in proceedings. Well while we didn’t see any UFOs while at the sky watch location, I was informed my Dave and Rob that as they arrived back home they saw some unusual lights in the sky. So it seems our friends may have made an appearance after all! You can have a read of the official case report on this incident here. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Last Updated: 21/07/2012 Introduction Some people never get to see what they can describe as a UFO their entire life. Many others have one, maybe two, sightings of something unusual that they remember for many years. However this report covers fourteen UFO incidents that have been witnessed by Kevin and Vera Byng, and their nephew Michael. With many of these incidents other witnesses have also been present. After their early sightings the family, especially Kevin, became interested in the UFO subject. Over the years he has looked into it in great depth, and has continued to see things he could not explain. Kevin has worked as a delivery driver for the army, the Air Corps and the RAF, and he knows exactly what normal aircraft and helicopters look like at all times of the day and night. He is certain that the things him, Vera and Michael have witnessed cannot be explained by conventional means. As you will see, a number of the objects they have witnessed appear to perform intelligent manoeuvres and move at incredible speed. When I went to interview the family about their sightings on 13th January 2009, I found that Kevin had already logged all the incidents for his own personal interest. He had drawn many pictures and created overhead maps to keep a detailed reminder of the various unusual objects they had witnessed over the years. Many of these drawings and maps are used in this report. In October 2009 Michael had a stunning sighting of a clearly defined disc-shaped craft. On 18th October I interviewed Michael about the incident, and took some photographs of the sighting location. This sighting was also accompanied by some highly unusual sounds, that were heard not only by Michael, but by two other people that he knows (And possibly others yet to come forward). In early March 2010, Kevin once again contacted me with details of another sighting of a white daylight orb which possibly followed an aircraft. Each sighting will now be looked at in detail. August 1963 – Cleobury Mortimer - Green Fireball During the first week of August 1963 back when Kevin was only 13 years old, the family were staying at a caravan they owned on a site to the North West of the village of Cleobury Mortimer in Shropshire. The site was built on three different levels, and the family’s caravan was on the middle of these levels. At the bottom of the site was a stream behind a fence, and beyond this a line of trees and then fields. The site was surrounded by hills, and at its west end was a road that led to the village. Kevin cannot remember the exact date when the sighting occurred, but it was a very clear night. He woke up in the early hours of the morning to see a bright green glow behind the curtains of his bedroom in the caravan, which faced to the North. He looked outside and saw over the tree line what he could only describe as a green fireball moving from East to West. He watched it for about 5 seconds before it vanished behind one of the hills. He continued to look out of the window a while but did not see the object again. The most interesting thing about this sighting is the colour of the object. If it was white, yellow or orange in colour it would be possible to assume that what was seen was a meteorite. However these do not usually appear bright green. Perhaps it was space debris of an unusual make up. But the object looked like it was on a relatively level path, not descending through the atmosphere. There was no sound during or after the sighting, and if something had crash landed it would surely have caused a loud explosion or been reported by the media soon afterwards. To this day, Kevin finds the sighting hard to explain, and does not know whether it was a natural phenomenon or something else entirely. June 1964 – Warley, Birmingham - Grey Circular UFO Formation At the time of this incident, Kevin was 14 years old, and at secondary school. He had just arrived home on Elizabeth Crescent. He had a part time job at the local butchers after school, and needed to come home to change his clothes each day before setting out again. It was 4 pm when he arrived at his house, and he walked round to the back door to let himself in. It was a bright sunny afternoon with light cloud cover and a medium breeze. He happened to glance up into the sky. Through a break in the clouds he saw five round objects travelling in a northern direction just above the cloud layer. They were a dull silver-grey colour and were flying in a rough V formation. At first he took them to be hot air balloons. He went indoors but then realised that they couldn’t be as they were travelling in the opposite direction to the clouds. He quickly went outside again but the objects had vanished. He ran around to the front of the house but did not see them again. Could the objects have been a small flock of birds reflecting the sunlight? This is certainly a possibility, but Kevin says that the objects looked bigger and too defined, and appeared to be round in shape. If they were not birds then they appear to have been flying in formation, so we can assume that they were intelligently controlled and not randomly drifting objects. Also the fact that they were flying against the wind means that they must have been powered. It remains an intriguing case. September 1973 – Penhale Point - Orange Orb Photograph Kevin joined the army back in 1970. After his training was complete, he was posted to a military port at Marchwood, opposite Southampton docks. In September 1973 he was taking part in an exercise at Penhale Point in Devon, 4-5 miles South West of Newquay. During one of the night exercises, Kevin was driving a truck along a track that follows the cliff edge. He had been sent to collect a platoon of soldiers and return them to camp. As it was under simulated battle conditions he only had the side lights of the truck on. He had with him a small Kodak 125 “point and click” camera to get some pictures of his comrades. It was around 2 o’clock in the morning. As he drove along the track he noticed to the west, quite a distance out over the sea, a dull orange ball of light. He stopped the truck to get out and try to photograph the object. The night was overcast and the stars could not be seen. There was a slight breeze and it was quite cool. Because of the basic model of his camera, he didn’t expect anything to come out, but when he got the film developed he was pleased to see that he had managed to capture the object. He could not judge how far out to sea the object was so it was hard for him to estimate its size as there was nothing to compare it too. It gave off a steady dull orange glow. It was moving in a northerly direction at about 50-60 mph. He watched the object until it disappeared beyond Ligger Point. After this he got back in the truck and continued his drive. At the time he did not report the object to anyone as he thought that people higher in command may have thought he was a bit crazy for seeing the object. He has no idea what it was, but is certain that it wasn’t an aircraft or helicopter. Neither was it the light off a ship, it was much too high in the sky for it to have been this. Chinese lanterns can appear as orange orbs of light in the sky, however it seems very unlikely that it was one of these. These were not readily available back in 1973. Also the object was seen quite far out to sea and appeared to be flying on a level path. It certainly sounds as if it was either a glowing airborne object of some kind, or a light attached to such an object. Camera specs: Kodak 125 “point and click” Late 1979 – Quinton, Birmingham - Pink Orb Kevin got married to Vera in 1978 and moved into a bedsit on Gillott Road, Edgbaston. On an evening in the latter half of 1979 they had gone out to a cinema in the Quinton area. It was an overcast night but there was no wind. After the cinema they caught the bus home. The route followed Hagley Road and their stop was on a disused railway bridge. They got off the bus at around 10.30pm, along with another middle aged couple. To the north they saw a large glowing ball of pink light with a darker purple centre. Comparing it to the surrounding buildings, Kevin estimates that it was about 20 foot across. It was moving southward just above the trees from the direction of Birmingham centre. Both they and the other couple saw the object. The ball of light was moving at around 40-50 mph. As they watched it suddenly turned a pale white colour, and then climbed at about 60 degrees into the sky before disappearing from sight. None of the witnesses had any idea as to what the object could have been. It certainly seemed to have performed intelligently controlled movements. But the colour of the light emanating from the object, its apparent shape, and the manoeuvres it performed all seem to suggest it was not a conventional aircraft. It is also unlikely to have been caused by earth lights, as these do not generally appear over built up areas. Could the object have been some kind of remote controlled model? If so, then it does seem to be of quite a large size. For one reason or another, the object does not seem to fit in with most explanations and will therefore probably remain a mystery. August 1984 – Weston-Super-Mare - Saucer UFO Photograph In the summer of 1984, Kevin and Vera decided to make a day trip to Weston-Super-Mare. It was a warm day with some cloud cover, but was also quite breezy. They were walking around the resort enjoying their day out, and were approaching the pier. It was not overly crowded but there were other people around the area. Suddenly Vera saw an object up in the sky out to sea. She pointed at it and said “Look at that!” At first Kevin thought she was pointing at the small island named Steep Holm which lies about 6-7 miles off the coast, but then he saw the object she was actually pointing at. The object was dark in colour and a classic flying saucer shape. It was moving northwards at about 50 mph, and appeared to be about half way between the pier and the island. Kevin quickly raised his camera and took the below photograph. Camera specs: Olympus OM 10 28-80mm lens Manual adapter Shutter speed 250 No fitted filter 200 ASA Kodak Colour Film The object was only visible for a few seconds before it had disappeared out of sight. Kevin is unsure if anyone other than him and Vera saw the object, but nobody appeared to be staring or pointing at it. The shape of the object certainly fits in with it being a flying saucer. Kevin estimates that it was about 15 foot wide. When he got the photo developed, he thought that maybe he could have photographed a seagull in flight. However it seems unlikely as they saw the object with their own eyes and he took the photo in the direction that the object was sighted. It’s movement appeared to be powered rather than something just drifting in the wind like a balloon. This may well be a genuine sighting and photograph of a craft of unknown origin. August 2002 – Winson Green, Birmingham - Glowing Saucer UFO Back in 2002 Vera used to work at City Hospital in the centre of Birmingham. One morning in August she was outside having an early cigarette with two work colleagues. They would often meet first thing to relax a few minutes before work began. City Hospital covers quite a large area with many different buildings designated smoking area was next to the Eye Centre along the East edge of the hospital. South of them lay a derelict building, that used to be part of the hospital but was no longer in use. There were many rumours of the old building being haunted. It was about 6.15am when suddenly Vera noticed a highly unusual object in the sky above the derelict building. She immediately pointed it out to her colleagues. It was a classic flying saucer shaped object with flashing coloured lights around the rim. Vera described it’s shape as a “similar to a top hat”. The entire object appeared to be glowing. The witnesses all stood transfixed watching the object for several minutes. It remained stationary, hovering in the sky. Suddenly it vanished without trace, as if it had just “switched off”. They were all extremely puzzled by what they had seen. They finished their cigarettes and was wondering if they could afford the time to have a second smoke. Looking at their watches they found that all three of their watches had stopped at precisely 6.15am, the time they had first sighted the unusual object in the sky! They were both amazed and very spooked out by this, so quickly headed back inside. Out of all the sightings witnessed over the years by the family, this is one of the most perplexing. The fact that three completely independent watches all stopped at exactly the same time certainly seems to suggest that the UFO was the cause. As far as Vera is aware there was no other nearby equipment which could have done this. Therefore this is stunning evidence pointing towards it being a genuine sighting rather than simple misidentification. There is a lot of documented evidence that UFOs can cause electrical or magnetic interference in their local area. For example, many people have reported that their car radio has stopped working, or electrical equipment (camera, phone etc) has inexplicably turned off. Also the appearance of the object, its shape, luminescence and flashing coloured lights also puts many alternative explanations out of the question, making this a fascinating sighting. September 2002 – Smethwick - White Glowing UFO It was 5.30am on 11th September 2002, and Vera was waiting on Montague Road to be picked up by her work colleagues. She would do this every morning as this was her regular way of getting to work at City Hospital. The morning light had just started to come up and it was very quiet. She randomly looked up into the sky, and when she did she spotted a glowing white light which appeared to be very high up. It was moving slowly in a North Westerly direction. She watched for a number of seconds and then suddenly the light stopped moving. It remained still for a short while and then moved round in a semi circular path to its right. It then stopped again, before moving in a semi circular path again but to its left. It stopped a third time then began moving again. After a few more seconds it suddenly increased rapidly in altitude and completely vanished. Vera could not explain the light she had seen at all. Most rational explanations can be discounted because of the unusual movement patterns. Planes cannot suddenly stop and hover motionless for a time. If it was a helicopter then she would have surely heard the noise, but she says it was completely silent. The whole sighting lasted a couple of minutes. November 2003 – Stonnal - Glowing Cigar UFO It was about 6pm on a clear November evening. Kevin was out on a food delivery to a Total garage situated on the Chester Road in the area of Stonnal. He made the delivery, and walked back outside to his lorry. As he reached it he looked in the direction of Birmingham. Due to the time of year it was already very dark. He saw what looked like a long glowing white cigar shaped object. As he stared at it he could also make out lights of various colours rotating around its centre. These lights were red, blue, green, yellow and possibly other colours. Kevin estimates that the object was about five miles away and was very large indeed, at least four times the size of a plane. The object was following the Birmingham airport flight line. As he watched, a normal aircraft passed close to but in front of the object, and then the object appeared to begin following the plane slowly across the skyline. He could hear the noise of the aircraft, but the UFO was completely silent. He watched it for at least 30 seconds, but he had a time limit for his next delivery so he had to continue on his journey. He got back into his cab, and when he looked back the object had vanished but he could still see the plane in the distance. There was no-one else around at the time except for someone manning the garage who would not have been allowed to leave their post. This sighting is quite stunning and has many aspects that cannot be explained. Kevin is very good at judging distance of aircraft so it is unlikely it was a small object close to him. The object seemed much too large to be a lit up balloon of some kind, or a remote controlled model. Some of the lights he could see slowly rotating around it were of a colour not seen in normal aircraft warning lights. Also the fact that he could hear the other aircraft as it flew alongside the object shows that it was completely silent. It performed controlled manoeuvres, an appeared to be following the aircraft. All these facts make it a very interesting case. August 2004 – Smethwick, Birmingham - Flying Triangle This sighting occurred in the local vicinity of Kevin and Vera’s current house on Edith Road, Smethwick. It was the night of 8th August 2004 and Kevin decided to take the dog for a walk. As it was a very hot and humid night, Vera decided to keep the front door of the house open to cool down the living room while Kevin was out. It was a very clear and still night. Kevin took his usual route which lead around his local neighbourhood in the area of Cape Hill. It was about 00.45am and he was about 2/3 of the way down Florence Road walking towards Montague Road. The dog stopped to mark his territory and Kevin turned round momentarily. As he turned back he noticed three bright white lights in a triangular formation moving in a southerly direction. The lights were not flashing at all and were totally silent. The lights were of equal distance to one another. Kevin could make out no connecting body between them. He assumed it was completely black in colour, as he could see that the object was blocking out the stars in between the lights. The object looked like it was 150 foot in the air. and quite large, about 100 foot in length. Kevin watched it for about 5 seconds before it disappeared behind some housing to his right, heading in the direction of his own house. He hurried home to see if he could see it from his own road. The object had disappeared but his wife was standing on the doorstep looking puzzled. When he asked her about what had happened she explained that looking outside the front of the house to their parked car she had seen a bright white lights shining down on the roof of it. She assumed it was someone messing about with a torch so went outside to check. At this moment the lights vanished, and she saw nothing which could have been responsible for them. Night photograph of witness location in direction he saw the UFO: Both Kevin and his wife are familiar with normal aircraft as they often see them taking off and landing at Birmingham airport. The ones which fly overhead are quite loud, but whatever Kevin saw on that night was totally silent. He is certain it was not a conventional aircraft or helicopter of any kind. This incident is certainly one of Kevin’s most impressive sightings. It seems to be of a classic Flying Triangle (FT). Craft very similar to this have been reported many times from all over the world – very large, triangular, black, and silent, with lights underneath at each corner. Some people assume that these are top secret military craft. However there is lots of evidence to suggest otherwise. Firstly, if they are supposed to be secret, why would the military fly these craft over populated cities? There have been a number of incidents where they have been seen to perform incredible manoeuvres in the blink of an eye, sometimes when aircraft have entered their proximity. Also there have been a number of reports of alien entities seen in the vicinity of these craft. It is impressive that Vera saw white lights on top of the car outside shortly after Kevin sighted the object heading in the direction of the property, it seems reasonable to assume that these lights were from the same object. It seems likely that there may have been other witnesses to this incident that have yet to come forward. November 2004 - Cheltenham - Red Glowing UFO Kevin currently works as a delivery driver, delivering food to shops and service stations. His route begins in Bromsgrove and covers Tewkesbury, villages in the Cotswolds and Cheltenham. On the evening of 3rd November 2004, he had finished his deliveries and was driving along the A4109 towards the M5 motorway. It was already dark, and the sky was overcast. As he passed through Uckington, just before reaching the M5, he noticed a red, slightly pulsing light just below the tree-line to his left. He thought at first that it was following the road at a constant height, but as he was in a moving vehicle he assumed that it was fixed and this movement was an illusion. He decided that the light must be a marker light on top of an electricity pylon, as there is a nearby airport at Gloucester. However the following night when he drove the same route there was no red light present, and he has never seen it since. Kevin feels it cannot have been an aircraft or helicopter as it was much too low, he estimates around 15 feet in the air. Also there were no other lights visible, just the single red light. He cannot say for certain whether or not the light was in motion, however if it was stationary there is not many explanations which would fit with what was observed. There were other vehicles on the road at the time, but Kevin is unsure if anyone else saw the light. It remains an interesting incident, and one which Kevin wishes he had an answer for. November 2005 – Leckhampton - White Glowing UFO With Smoke Trail On Wednesday 2nd November 2005, Kevin was once again out on a food delivery in South Cheltenham. It was about 4.30pm and the sun was setting, and both a clear and still evening. As he was driving down one road towards two mini roundabouts, he saw a very bright white light in the sky over a nearby row of shops. As it was stationary he assumed it must be Venus. Suddenly the object started to move slowly, leaving behind a white smoky tail. Then without warning it shot off to the right of Kevin’s vision in the blink of an eye. He estimates it must have accelerated to at least 300mph in under a second. Kevin said that the speed it shot off at was unbelievable. He was not aware whether or not anyone else spotted the object. The object could not have been a meteorite as when he first saw it, the object was stationary. If it was coming towards him and just appeared stationary then it would not have turned 90 degrees. There are a number of reported UFOs which have been seen to leave behind a trail of smoke in their wake, could this be a similar type of craft? As the object was apparently at quite a distance, it is hard to say whether it had a natural or un-natural explanation, but certain aspects seem to suggest the later. 2007 – Smethwick, Birmingham - Green Fireball From outside Kevin and Vera’s house it is possible to see Birmingham centre and the GPO Tower in the distance. After dark the red lights on the top of it are clearly visible. It was about 11-11.30pm at night, and quite cloudy. Kevin and Michael were outside the front door having a chat. They were looking East towards Birmingham when suddenly they noticed something very strange. To the left of the GPO Tower they saw what looked like a green fireball with a long tail descending vertically through the cloud. It travelled downwards until they lost sight of it due to the buildings in the distance. Witness drawing showing viewpoint, object in distance and GPO Tower: Several days later there was an article in the Sandwell and Great Barr Chronicle newspaper about the object, as other people had also seen it. However the newspaper passed it off as laser lights from a Broad Street club. The witnesses both knew this could not be the case. They are used to seeing the laser lights from the club in question. From their position the lights always appear to the right of the tower not to the left. Also there is never any beams seen, it is just possible to make out green patches of light on the cloud layer. I asked whether the “tail” seen behind the object could have been a laser light being displayed through fog, but they explained that although there were some clouds that evening, it was relatively clear with certainly no fog. Due to these reasons the laser light explanation is not sufficient. Photograph of sighting location pointing in direction they saw the UFO: One possibility is that the object was space debris of an unusual make-up which was burning green as it fell through the atmosphere. However meteorites and space debris generally appear white, yellow or orange when they burns up. It is certainly an unusual sighting and one that certainly occurred, the question is, what was it that was seen? Could it have been a similar object to what was seen back in 1963 at Cleobury Mortimer campsite? September/October 2008 – Smethwick, Birmingham - White Glowing UFO It was approximately 10.30pm on a very clear night in the autumn of 2008. Kevin’s nephew Michael had come round to visit. Both witnesses were standing on the pavement opposite their house on Edith Road in Smethwick having a chat. The stars were out overhead and it was quite still. Looking towards the North West they noticed a single white moving light in the sky. It was moving quite fast in their direction. Kevin estimates it was about as fast as a fighter jet. It was almost overhead when suddenly it flared up extremely bright. The witnesses describe it as like “an explosion of white light”. It looked as if the object had got about ten times as large and was about ten times as bright. It only flared like this for a second before it returned to how it originally looked and continued across the sky until it was out of sight behind some trees. The witnesses only saw the object for less than a minute. Photograph of sighting location pointing in direction the UFO appeared from: This is an intriguing case. Is it possible that Kevin and Michael saw a satellite travelling across the night sky that caught the sun’s rays for a moment? When this was suggested Kevin said that it looked like it was moving too fast for a satellite, and also that the “flare up” effect that was witnessed seemed much too impressive to just be reflective light. The object was too fast to be a conventional aircraft or helicopter, but also too slow to be a meteorite. As previously mentioned, Kevin’s house lies below the flight path from Birmingham Airport, and also because of his experience working in the military, he can easily recognise known aircraft at night time. Both he and Michael are adamant that this was something different and could not be easily explained. 9th October 2009 - Smethwick, Birmingham - Dark Grey Saucer UFO Early on the morning of Friday 9th October 2009, Michael was awoken by some very unusual sounds. The noises sounded like a jet engine starting up, accompanied with other strange creaking and bangs. As he listened they seemed to randomly change in volume, so would occassionally die down before becoming loud again, although never to the point that he could not hear them at all. He wondered what could be making the sounds, and was sure that they were coming from outside of the house. This was confirmed to him when he went to the bathroom and closed the window. When he did so the noises became quieter. He re-opened the window and it was louder again. He went back into his bedroom and looked out of the window. It was still quite dark but the morning light was just starting to come up to the East. Most of the sky was covered in cloud, though to the East this cloud parted and became clearer. He noticed that his father’s car was not on the drive, which meant that he had left for work and the time was at least 5.45am, though Michael did not check the exact time. Michael lives on Market Gardens, a cul-de-sac which resides next to Smethwick Hall Park. The park has large areas of grass with a childrens play area near the middle. A row of trees partially blocks the view from Michaels window, but he can still make out a large proportion of the park. When he looked out he could see a couple walking along the path which crosses the park. To his bemusement they did not appear to be reacting to the strange noises at all, it was almost as if they couldn’t hear them. This seemed very odd to Michael as the sounds were quite loud and appeared to be coming from the North across the far side of the park. He soon lost sight of the couple due to the lack of light. Smethwick Hall Park: Michael lay down but the noises continued and he was fascinated by what they may be. He propped himself up and again looked out of the window. It was now that he noticed a glowing constant white light to the North North East. The light was a short distance above the tree tops on the far side of the park, but looked like it was further away, about half a mile from his position. Michael estimates it was about 300 feet high. It was moving at a moderate speed, perhaps 50mph, on a level course in an Easterly direction. It kept the same altitude throughout, even though the area is on a slight slope. Michael was intrigued by the light, and watched it as it moved across the sky, occasionally obscured by the row of trees along his road. View of the park from Michaels window: As the light got to roughly level with his position, it reached the part of the sky that was beginning to be brightened by the morning sun. It was now that the object became clearer and he finally got to see it in more detail. He was absolutely astounded by what he saw. The object was a “classic” curved saucer shape and metallic dark grey in colour, and he was immediately convinced that he waas looking at a craft of some kind. On the top of the object was a rectangular shaped protrusion, and on this upper section was a white rotating light. It was rotating roughly every few seconds in an anti-clockwise direction. There was no visible beam coming out from it but it reminded Michael of a lighthouse. As it was rotating the light would alternately become dim then bright again. This was the only light visible on the object, but up until this point the white light had appeared a constant brightness, which is a puzzling aspect of the sighting. Michael estimates the object was at least 50 feet wide if it was as far away as it appeared to be. Witness drawing of UFO: Drawing done by Kevin based on Michael’s description: Amazed by what he was witnessing, Michael continued to watch the object for a further 8 seconds until it was lost from view behind trees to the North East East. During this time he did not think to get a camera and try to photograph the object, but even if he had it would have disappeared before he had the chance. Once it had vanished from view he continued to hear the unusual sounds for a further 20 minutes or so. After this time the noises began to get quieter and he decided to go back to sleep for a couple of hours. When he woke back up the noises could no longer be heard at all. Soon after he got up, he told his brother John what he had seen and heard, but his brother had not been woken up at all. When he informed her of what Michael had seen and heard, she told him that she too had heard the noise about 4.00-4.30am. On the following evening Michael found out that his Uncle Russell had also heard the noise for a short while about 5.00-5.15am while feeding his baby son. Russell too lives only a few streets away. It is very likely that other people in the area also heard the noise but it is unknown if anyone else saw the object as well, so further witnesses have come forward. This is a fascinating sighting and one which has many interesting aspects. The object appeared to be powered rather than drifting. It was large in size and maintained a level flight path and constant speed for the duration of the sighting. Michael says it definitely appeared to have mass to it and be a solid object, he assumes that from underneath it would have appeared disc shaped, but he only saw it from a side on view. The revolving light on the top is another aspect which points towaerds it being an unusual craft of some kind, rather than an inflatable or balloon. The object seemed too large to be a remote controlled model, and if it was a hoax surely it would have been flown at a time of day where a lot more people would have witnessed it, rather than very early in the morning when most people would be asleep? It was quite clearly not a conventional aircraft of any kind, and other possibilities such as a meteorite or satellite can of course be completely ruled out. If it was a top secret military-owned craft, it seems very unlikely they would fly it across a highly populated city. If this was a genuine sighting of an extraterrestial craft, we can only speculate as to the function of the revolving white light. Perhaps it was scanning the area as it flew over it. Or could it have been a warning beacon to indicate its presence in the area? One of the biggest questions regarding the case is of course whether or not the object was making the unusual sounds. It seems a very strange coincedence that these noises would be heard around the same time as the object was sighted, and appeared to be coming from the direction it was seen in. But in some ways the sounds appeared completely independent. They could be heard a while before, and a good 20 minutes after the object was no longer visible. If they were coming from the object, surely they would have been loudest as it passed Michaels position and then slowly faded away? But this was not the case, they appeared to get louder and quieter randomly for the duration, it was only 20 minutes after the sighting that they started to fade. Of course this theory assumes that the object was moving on the same flight path before and after it was visible to Michael. Perhaps it was stationary just out of sight prior to the sighting, and again stopped out of sight for a further 20 minutes before departing. If this scenario happened then the sounds could have quite feasibly come from the object. If the sounds did not come from the object what else could explain them? Michael mentioned that they sounded a bit like industrial machinery or a demolitions crew, but why would they have been working at this time of morning, surely that would be classed as noise pollution? If it was an ongoing building project in the nearby area, then why have the noises not been heard on other mornings too? Michael said the sounds were completely bizarre and like nothing he had ever heard before. At this time we cannot say for certain where they came from and whether they were linked with the UFO sighting or not. If you have any further information on the sighting or the strange sounds heard, please get in contact with BUFOG. 5th March 2010 - Smethwick, Birmingham - White Orb On Friday 5th March 2010, Kevin was in his house. It was 2.50pm in the afternoon when he decided to let the dog out into the back yard. It was a dry and sunny day with only a few clouds in the sky. As he stood in the doorway waiting for the dog to come in, his attention was drawn to an aircraft in the sky lit up in the sunlight. It was a twin turbo prop aircraft and was flying to the South. Kevin estimates it was 2-3 miles away and flyng at an altitude of around 1000 feet. As he watched, the aircraft passed under a small cloud. As it did, a small, brilliant white round object descended out of the cloud to the rear of the plane at 45 degrees. It then turned and appeared to follow the object for a moment, gaining on it. Just before it reached the tail of the aircraft it then climbed and disappeared back into the cloud. The whole incident took place over about five seconds, and the aircraft made no manouvres which would indicate anyone on board had seen the object. Initially Kevin thought it may have been a bird, until he realised it was much too big and too high to be so. It’s movement pattern and speed suggest it was under intelligent control rather than simply a balloon or other object drifiting in the air. It was moving slightly faster than the aircraft, so must have been travelling at hundreds of miles an hour. It looked nothing like any conventional aircraft or helicopter. Photograph taken 5 mins after sighting in correct direction, onto which Kevin has drawn the UFO, the path it took and the plane: This is another interesting sighting by a reliable witness who is experienced in indentifying aerial objects. Due to the various reasons described above, most possible explanations can be discounted. It certainly appears that the UFO was interested in the plane and was observing it.. I would also suggest that it could have been knowingly using the cloud as cover until the plane had approached the area. This sighting is remeniscent of the “Foo Fighter” sightings back in the Second World War, where glowing orbs of light were seen to follow aircraft, sometimes for quitea distance. Could Kevin have seen a similar object, perhaps a scout craft of some kind? We will probably never know for sure, but for now this sighting remains unexplained. 12th March 2010 - Smethwick, Birmingham - White Glowing UFOs It was 9.20pm on the evening of Sunday 14th March. Michael was round visiting Kevin at his house on Edith Road, Smethwick. Kevin’s son has a pet snake, which had decided to relieve itself while on Michael’s legs! He decided he would go home and change, and return the following evening. It was a clear evening, so him and Kevin stepped out onto the road chatting for a few minutes. Michael noticed some lights in the sky to the South East, in the direction of Birmingham airport. They appeared to be about 10 miles away. There were four whitish-yellow coloured lights which appeared to be stationary. Kevin has created a number of drawings overlaid on a darkened photograph of the sighting location including notes to show the movement pattern of the lights. The whole sighting lasted for between 20-25 minutes. Michael thought the objects looked similar to how the craft he saw earlier in the year looked at a distance. Initially the pair thought that the lights must be aircraft landing or taking off from the airport. However aircraft cannot remain stationary, and the movement patterns observed were far too unusual for the lights to have been simply aircraft. But could the lights have been helicopters? These can display movement patterns similar to what was observed. However Kevin is aware that the air ambulance only have one helicopter, as do the police of the area. He feels that if there had been a big operation going on with numerous helicopters, then surely something would have been in the news about it. Civilian helicopters do not fly at night, and it is hard to fathom why the military would fly helicopters over Birmingham after dark. Also the flashing strobe light on the tail of each helicopter would have been visible, but what Kevin and Michael saw was individual constantly bright glowing lights. If they were helicopters, this would not explain how one by one they suddenly faded and vanished, they would have had their lights on constantly and would have been seen moving away from the area. The following evening when Michael went round Kevin’s house again, they stood outside and watched to see if similar lights appeared, but all they saw were normal aircraft coming in to land. The lights coming from them looked more yellowish than the lights they had seen the night before, and also vanished and reappeared as the aircraft turned in their approach. They always came in from the same direction, moved faster and came in at a shallow angle. Because of this, they were able to rule out normal aircraft as an explanation for the lights. It is also very unlikely that the objects were Chinese lanterns or internally lit balloons. Lanterns are more of a fiery orange colour, and usually flicker. They also tend to drift in a similar direction due to air currents, yet the lights seen moved in completely different directions to one another and stopped for periods of time. These movements looked like they were controlled, rather than simply being caused by random drifting. For now the lights remain a mystery. Kevin will contact me if he sees them appear a second time. 9th July 2012 - Smethwick, Birmingham - Dark Grey Disc UFO Around 10.10pm on the evening of 9th July 2012, Kevin let his dog out into the back garden. Due to the time of year it was still quite light in the sky. There was full cloud cover and a slight wind blowing. Kevin happened to glance up into the sky, and noticed a large disc shaped object over the neighbouring house. It was quite high up but underneath the cloud layer. Kevin estimates it was about 1000-1500 feet. The object was gun metal grey in colour and had no visible markings or lighting on it. The edge was clearly defined and it appeared to be a solid. It was moving to the North at a slow speed, around 15-20 mph. Initially Kevin assumed it was some rubbish drifting in the wind, but soon realised that it was much too large to be this. It appeared to be around 30-40 feet in diameter. It was also moving on a deliberate straight path. Suddenly the object changed course and began to move in a North Easterly direction. After several seconds Kevin ran inside to grab his camera. He also called his wife and son to come and see. They returned outside, and saw that the object was just about to move out of sight over next doors kitchen roof. At this moment he realised that his camera was out of batteries. His son ran back inside to grab his camera, but sadly by the time he had returned the object was too far away to capture properly. Kevin ran down the garden to get a better view and watched the object continue into the distance to the North East. The witnesses were quite sure they had seen something unusual. The object was clearly not a conventional aircraft of any kind, yet was moving on a controlled course despite the wind. It was also completely silent. If it had been a large balloon/inflatable of some kind, it would surely have drifted more randomly or changed angle/perceived shape, yet it maintained this throughout. Conclusion Kevin and his family have experienced many unusual things over the years. I am convinced that they have seen the UFOs mentioned throughout this report. They seem very honest, open and, no pun intended, down to earth. They do not feel that there is an overall reason behind these sightings, and that they are personal to them. They believe that they have just been in the right place at the right time. Kevin feels that the reason he has had so many sightings is because he covers a wide area due to his delivery job, and he often travels at night so has to remain very alert at all times. He believes that he has experienced advanced aircraft which are not simply top secret military craft. And to sum it up in his own words, “if we’re not building then someone else must be.” The family has assured me that they will keep in touch about any further sightings they may have, so this report may well be updated in the future with new incidents. Birmingham UFO Group report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 11/07/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Introduction In late April 2012 I was contacted via E-Mail by a lady from London. She informed me that she had experienced some strange and vivid dreams which she would like to understand. She also mentioned that she was seeking answers to what had happened and would be interested in being hypnotically regressed. I got back to the lady, who in this report I will refer to as Selene, and soon afterwards we met up on Skype to discuss her experiences. As well as her various dreams, she also spoke of a number of drawings she had done which she felt had meaning behind them and were linked with these dreams. This report includes copies of these drawings and Selene’s own interpretation of what they could mean, as well as details of her numerous fascinating experiences. Beginnings Between 2008 - 2010 Selene suffered from depression. Eventually she recovered from this, and in April 2011 she began to think about what the next stage in her life would be. However she could not think of anything the world had to offer which she wanted to concentrate on. She felt that she just wanted to leave and broke down crying as a result. While she was crying a very clear and direct thought came to her mind - “Wait one year.” It felt to her that this thought had interrupted her other thoughts, like it had been projected directly into her brain. She wondered why she had thought this, and what it could mean. As it was 2011 she started looking on the internet about the year 2012 seeking answers. She immediately came across the movie 2012. After watching the movie she read more into the Mayan 2012 prophecies and intrigued by this, continued to read. This lead onto her finding out about governmental conspiracies, and then Reptilian aliens. She read some cases in which they had reportedly materialised out of thin air. The fact that these beings could appear whenever and wherever they chose frightened her, and she felt quite vulnerable. For a while she was not able to sleep well, despite the fact that at this point she had little reason to believe that they would interact with her in any way. Out Of Body Experience & Grey Visions In 2011 Selene lived in Winchester. One night between 1-2am Selene was lying down on her bed watching TV. She was naked and lying face up with her head on the pillow. Alongside her was a towel she had dried herself with. She felt very tired but didn’t want to go to sleep. She looked out of the window for a short while. She began to feel sleepy and closed her eyes. But when she did she found that she could still see. She opened her eyes and there was just darkness. Closing her eyes again she found that once more she could see! Selene was frightened that she had somehow damaged her eyes due to staying awake too long. She then felt a tickling sensation on her forehead and also within her head. She began to shake her head to attempt to stop this sensation. It seemed to work and she felt that everything was fine. She then decided to get up to go and make a cup of coffee. She sat up on the bed and looked over at the TV. She felt completely normal, other than the fact she was tired. Her hair was still wet so she glanced round to pick up her towel off the bed. When she looked she saw her body still lying down on the bed. This was strange enough, but to top that, her body on the bed was lying down on its front, even though she had felt she was lying face up, right until she sat up off the bed. Her face was to the side and she could see that her eyes were closed. Selene could not understand what was happening. It was almost like she had instantly fallen asleep but was still conscious and had come out of her physical body. After staring at herself a while she came to the conclusion that she must have died. She felt that she had died and  that soon it would be time to go elsewhere. She stood up in the room and looked out of the window. It was a calm and clear moonlit night. She felt that her father was going to come for her. When he didn’t show up she then felt maybe that she would see light come for her so she could pass over. But she then thought that she didn’t know how to call for anyone, so maybe she would be stuck there. This made her nervous and desperate. She heard noises of someone moving around in the kitchen. She decided to go downstairs and see if she could call somebody from there. She was about to grab the door handle but then she got frightened that her hand would go right through it. She felt that maybe she would be trapped in the room forever. She wanted to fly away but found that she could not. With nothing else to do, she sat on the bed alongside her body and tried to calm down. She was too frightened to see what would happen if she touched her body. She started to feel sad that nobody had come for her. Selene remained in that position for a number of hours, watching the early morning television shows. After a long while she began to feel very tired. She wanted to lie down on the bed. She stood up at the side of the bed and wondered how she would lie down with her body there. She lay down and did not feel her body at all, it was like she had re-entered it. She again looked out of the window and could see it was now almost morning time. She closed her eyes and felt herself dropping off to sleep. Suddenly she once again opened her eyes. For a brief moment she saw a short white being standing by the wardrobe alongside the base of the bed. The figure had the stature of a child. Its face was an off-white colour. It had a large oversized cranium coming down to a thin chin, and large completely black eyes. It was hairless. Selene cannot remember seeing a nose or mouth. The being appeared to be wearing a black or very dark coloured skin tight suit. This seemed to cover the rest of its body, or at least this is what Selene remembers. It is clear from her description that this being was a Grey, although Selene did not realise this at the time as she had only read about Reptilians on the net not Greys. The figure was only visible for a brief second before it vanished. Selene felt that it was just a vision from a dream she had been having. She then heard a noise that sounded like someone hitting her on the head with a hammer. She felt like she needed to breathe, like she had dived down very deep underwater and needed to take a breath. She felt a little shocked and disoriented. Her whole body was in pain as if she had been doing extensive exercise. For a few seconds she didn’t realise who she was or where she was. Then she remembered looking down at her body and feeling that she had just died. She got up and looked back at the bed but there was nothing there, to her relief she was back inside her body. She checked the clock and found it was now 7am, the time she usually wakes up at. She began to get ready for work. For the rest of the day she felt very tired. In the evening she had a look on the internet to try and find out what had happened to her. It was here that she learned about out-of-body experiences and near death experiences. She felt that she must have had an out-of-body experience. She did not think much about the small being she had briefly glimpsed as she assumed this had just been a dream. The following day Selene was off work. She was reading some horrific stories about cattle mutilations online. She thought to herself, wondering why the ETs were doing this against people’s will. Immediately a vision of the face of a being appeared in her mind. This being had an elongated white coloured head which appeared smooth and shiny. Like the short being it had very large black eyes, and a long thin neck. It reminded her of the mask from the “Scream” horror movie series. She could not see the rest of the being but sensed that it was tall. The being responded to her in her mind, saying that they don’t do anything against our will and never will. Due to what she had read about abductions and animal mutilations she didn’t believe it. The vision lasted for about 5-6 seconds before fading from her mind. Looking back on the incident, Selene feels that it was an ET speaking to her directly. She also believes that it was a type of Grey, although she didn’t interpret it as this at the time. Within the week following the experience, Selene glimpsed visions of the short Grey on two further occasions. Both times it was standing in the same place in her bedroom and was only seen for the briefest of moments. The interesting thing about OOBs is that while they initially do not appear to have much to do with ET contact, many contactees have reported having these in addition to their contact experiences so there appears to be a link between the two. Some researchers even speculate that OOBs are the explanation for abductions, however there are many aspects that do not fit with this explanation, aspects which are usually ignored completely by these individuals. It is very interesting that Selene briefly had a vision of a Grey in her bedroom just as she woke up from her out-of-body experience, and then also on two other occasions within the following days, and also had a vision of a different being soon afterwards. This certainly suggests that the experience was not a normal OOB and could have in some way been related to a contact experience, or perhaps somehow triggered memories of a previous experience. This was not to be the last time she would see the small Grey (see below). Dreams - Overview Selene has had a number of very vivid dreams which appear linked to contact. Some could well be actual experiences she has had which have then been blocked out from her conscious mind. Often experiences of this type will later on come back to the individual in this manner. She has not had any noticeable physical side effects from any of the dreams after she has woken so if any of them are of real events it is likely that they have happened in the past. Some of the dreams she has had are unlikely to be of actual events, but could well be visions of the future or metaphorically linked to her experiences. It should be noted that Selene had looked more into the UFO subject prior to having these dreams, and did know what Greys looked like. However she informed me that had barely looked into the contact aspect, and had no knowledge of their possible agendas. Selene mentioned that these felt far more real and different to any other dreams she has remembered. This is common with contact cases, real experiences can often feel like very vivid dreams. However as there are no physical aspects, you may feel that they were nothing more than her imagination brought on by her research into the subject. Either way they are worth noting. Abduction Dream This was the first dream that Selene had which appeared clearly linked with contact. It took place in late October or early November 2011. At the start of the dream she found herself in a room with white walls, ceiling and floor. She appeared to be grown up rather than a child, but could not tell whether she was younger in the dream than she actually was. She was sitting up on a white smooth plastic-like rectangular table, with her legs dangling off one side. Her legs were bare, and Selene feels that she may have been naked. She could not tell if there was anything under the table, it was quite high and she felt that it may have been free floating. There was a door in one of the walls of the room, again white in colour. There was also a window through which she could see that she was high up in the air. It was light outside. She could see houses, areas of grass and a river down below. The room she was in appeared to be at normal temperature, it was neither overly hot or cold. She felt like the surroundings and this being were very familiar to her, like she had been here on previous occasions. She was not frightened of the Grey at all and instead felt a connection with it. Due to her research into the subject she recognised it as an ET, although she felt that it may have been a robot rather than a biological being. The Grey was standing still and not blinking. It spoke to her in her mind, asking her to do something. She cannot remember what it said, but she remembers that her response was “Yes I’ll do it, because that is for a good thing.” She does not remember whether she said this out loud or spoke telepathically using her mind. Witness drawing of the Grey’s face and the view from the window: Suddenly she heard a loud female scream coming from outside of the room to her right. It sounded like someone was getting murdered. She wanted to find out who was screaming and why, so she got down off the table. There was an open doorway at one edge of the room. She walked across the room away from the Grey, and stepped through into a corridor. There were lots of open doorways leading off this corridor. A door to her right led through to a very similar room to the one she had been in. Stepping backwards out of this door was a very frightened lady. She appeared to be English. She was quite obese in size and had very short and thin hair. Her cheeks were red, probably from the screaming. She was wearing a black shirt and beige coloured short trousers. Her lower legs were exposed and covered in red dots like she had just shaved them. She was not wearing any socks or shoes. Immediately Selene had an image appear in her mind of this woman sitting on the sofa eating chips and watching TV just after she had shaved her legs. She has no idea whether this was simply a thought or an actual psychic vision. Looking through into the other room she saw it was very similar to the one she had initially come from. Again there was a white coloured table. Either side of the table was a Grey. However these beings looked very different to the one she had been speaking with previously. They had blue-grey coloured skin and were both much taller and more slender in build. Selene sensed that they were very wise and also actually alive rather than robotic. She looked at one of the Greys and asked it what was happening. But both of the beings remained still and continued to watch the frightened lady. It appeared that they were waiting to see what she did next. Witness drawing of the two blue-grey coloured Greys: The lady raised her hands to her face and continued to scream loudly. She was staring at the two Greys and slowly backing away from them. Selene moved to give her space to walk past. The lady then turned towards Selene momentarily before looking back at the Greys. She did not appear to have seen Selene, possibly because of how panic stricken she was. Selene thought to herself “She even hasn’t noticed that I’m human”. Looking back at the dream Selene finds it odd that she had this thought. Rather than try to get the lady’s attention, Selene decided to let her calm down first. Another being then emerged from a doorway beyond where the lady was standing. This being was immediately familiar to Selene – it was the small Grey she had seen in her room several times following her out-of-body experience! The Grey had an injection needle like instrument in its hand. As soon as Selene noticed this she realised that this being would take control of the situation. She did not fear for the woman’s safety, she just felt that the best thing for her would be for her to calm down and get her normal senses back. The Grey she had initially been speaking with was still there but had moved to a different position in the room. When it noticed Selene it looked at her. She spoke with it, saying “She’s not ready yet, I want you to send her back.” This is where the dream ended, though Selene feels certain that they did send the woman back home and didn’t do what they had planned to do. After the dream ended she continued to sleep as normal until morning. When she awoke, Selene felt like it was still continuing for several seconds before she realised where she was. She clearly remembered what had taken place and decided to write it down due to how vivid it had felt. She also realised that in the dream she had acted differently to how she normally would. Selene says if she saw an ET she would be frightened, yet in the dream she appeared to be comfortable with them. This experience clearly fits very closely with an abduction experience.  There are many details which closely match other cases I have both directly investigated and heard about over the years. If this dream was a memory of an actual experience, it appears that Selene was abducted at the same time as another lady. With shades of what happened to Travis Walton during his abduction in 1975, this lady appeared to have woken up unintentionally. Even though Selene has no memory of the ETs actually taking her, the fact that she began sitting on the smooth table aboard the craft suggests that she had been abducted. It appears that Selene was familiar with her surroundings and comfortable with both the situation and the Greys. This suggests that this was far from the first time she had been taken. There are numerous points which suggest a high level of trust between her and the ETs. More often than not, the contactee is paralysed during their abduction experience. This is probably done to prevent them from attacking the ETs, hurting themselves or reacting precisely how the other lady reacted. The fact that Selene was able to move freely, and was even freely allowed to leave the room and walk around the craft suggests that the ETs trusted her and were not bothered by her decision to do this. Usually the ETs will not even speak with the contactee, or will just say a few words to calm them down. However they appeared fine with conversing with Selene. Towards the end of the experience, Selene actually asked them to do something, and although she does not actually remember them acting on her request, she feels that they did and that she had intervened with their original plans. This may suggest a deeper connection with the beings than many contactees seem to have. Near Future Events Dream Approximately a week after her initial dream, Selene had another dream linked with contact. She once again found herself aboard a craft, though this one was completely different to before. Unlike the previous dream, this craft was out in space. Selene feels that it may have been a mother-ship of some kind. She was standing in a large open area, which she believes was the front of the craft. The walls were white in colour, and the ceiling was very high. In front of her was a table above which was a holographic representation of planets including our solar system. Surrounding this were many distant stars that looked like pin-pricks of light. The planets in the hologram looked completely solid, they were not semi-transparent. They were moving slowly on their orbits. On the other side of the table was a human-looking woman. She was about 170-175cm in height and in good shape. She had short blonde-coloured hair. Selene cannot remember too much detail about her other facial features. On the far side of the area, at what Selene believed to be the forward facing edge, was a long window which looked out to the stars. The woman began to speak, referring to the holographic display. When she did so she spoke to Selene telepathically, her lips did not move. The voice in Selene’s mind sounded calm and gentle. The woman said “Mercury will see the Sun as the first. When Venus will see the Sun, it will go further away, and when Earth will see the Sun, it will go much further away”. As she said this, the Earth in the holographic display moved and entered what appeared to be a different planetary system shown above it. As it did so all the surrounding stars also changed. Selene had the impression that this was not only a different place in space but maybe a different universe entirely. The new system that the Earth moved into appeared to have over 16 planets, and the Earth was the 5th closest to the new Sun. Selene reached up and tried to touch the hologram. She was excited to find that she could actually feel the planets in her hands like they were solid and physical. The lady began to speak again. Selene cannot fully remember what she said but from what she remembers she stated that she had a task to do, but something needed to take place first. After this, the Earth would be in a different universe and then she would need to perform this task. She also mentioned a coming war. Then the woman took a step backwards away from the table, and pointed towards the long window. Selene walked up to the window and looked out into space to see what the woman was pointing at. She saw fleets made up of what appeared to be hundreds of craft. All these craft looked the same, and were all a dull yellow non-metallic looking colour. She believed they were warships, although there were no visible weapons on them. The woman said to her “You see, everyone is waiting.” Selene was shocked and could feel her heart beat. She exclaimed “Why?!” This is where Selene’s dream ended. However when she woke up she was left with the feeling that her and the lady had continued discussing what was to come. The lady had told her that there were multiple species. Some were good, some had bad intentions and others were un-decided. These un-decided species had the choice to either help us or join the species with bad intentions. However they had decided to help us. The lady said there would be a war and that we should prepare for it. The lady that Selene saw in this dream was more than likely a Nordic. It is clear that she wasn’t human as she spoke to Selene telepathically. The Nordics (sometimes referred to as the Pleidians) look extremely human-like but are almost always described as having blonde-coloured hair. They have been reported by lots of contactees, including many I have directly investigated. The hologram which Selene describes, with its unusual physical properties, is very reminiscent of what was seen in the recent Ridley Scott movie "Prometheus". However it should be noted that Selene discussed this with me before the movie was released at the cinema, so it is very unlikely that she got the idea for it from this. Obviously there have been numerous other movies before which have shown similar things e.g. "Mission To Mars", though to be fair you could say that about most things. Selene feels that what she was shown was events which would take place in Earths near future, though there was nothing which directly indicated when or where she was. Could Selene have really been shown things which are going to take place – a coming intergalactic war and the moving of our entire planet to a new point in space or even a new dimension? And if so, for what purpose? For what reason would she be shown such things? At present we cannot say for sure. However if what Selene dreamed about is actually real, the implications are absolutely massive. Meeting Discussion Dream Again within a week of the hologram dream, Selene had another similar dream. She felt that she was on the same craft as her previous dream but within a different area. She found herself in a hallway-like area with a window positioned on either side. At either end of this hallway was an open door leading off to other areas. Selene was aware that one of these doorways led off to the area at the front of the ship which she had been in during her previous dream. The other doorway led to a meeting room at the centre of the craft. In the dream, Selene was aware that she was close to the Earth, and would be able to view both it and the Sun from the window of the craft. In her own words Selene says “They try to keep the craft in view of the Sun and Earth so people (humans) on the craft can see it, so they will not feel too far away from home”. She was standing near to one of the two windows so she decided to look outside. But she saw nothing but darkness. She walked across to the other side of the hallway and looked out, expecting to see them. When she looked she could see the Sun, but the Earth was not where it should be. Another thing that Selene knew was that there was a meeting between different beings taking place in the central area leading off from the hallway. She was waiting until this meeting came to a close. However she grew tired of waiting on her own, and was also curious to discover what the ETs were discussing. She was angry that they would not let her be a part of the meeting, and couldn’t understand why she had to be excluded. She walked into the meeting room. The circle of beings were made up of was a human male who looked like an Indian, the lady with blonde hair she had seen in her previous dream, a tall blue-grey coloured Grey, some shorter Greys, and a tall blue coloured humanoid wearing golden and blue coloured robes. Selene felt that this being was the most hierarchically important. There was one more figure in this circle. It was another her. A wiser version of herself. Rather than a clone, Selene believes that this was her subconscious or her soul, a part of her which had been separated from her physical body. From what she understands, this is the part of her which the ETs directly interact with. Selene went and stood next to her other self. Her other self was discussing what she would do next with the rest of the circle. Selene had the impression that they wanted her to be there so that she could remember it. This was where the dream ended. Unlike her two previous dreams, this one actually felt like a dream rather than something more vivid and real. However she does believe that it was more than just her imagination and the ETs were trying to tell her something through it. UFO Sighting After experiencing the above mentioned dreams, Selene believed that they were both significant and contact related. She wanted to see a UFO as she felt that this would confirm this was the case. She thought to herself that she would not purposely go looking to see one; if she was undergoing contact then they would come to her. She also told herself that she would not accept an unidentified light in the sky as a genuine sighting; she would only be convinced if she saw a proper structured object. It was between 4-5pm on a day in late November 2011. Due to the time of year it was already dark. It was cloudy and cold, with light rain. Selene was on her way home from the nursery where she works. She was walking along a road in Hainault, London. There were a couple of other ladies nearby. She happened to look up into the sky to her left. It was now that she saw a strange object hovering 10-20 metres over the tops of the houses on the opposite side of the road. The object was disc shaped, with a wider band around its middle. This had a number of multi-coloured lights around it – red, green, yellow, blue and white. The lights were flashing in a circular pattern continuously. The main body of the object was a dull metallic colour. The object was hovering completely motionless. Selene stared at the object for a couple of minutes. It continued to hover in the sky. She thought to herself “Thanks, I got the message, my dreams are true. Now you can go.”  But the UFO remained. Selene decided to continue walking. She glanced back and the object was still visible. After a short while she looked again. She could see that the object had now moved higher in the sky and further away from her. As it had now clearly moved she decided to stay and watch it to see what it would do next. For a time it was still. Then it began ascending in a zig-zag pattern. Shortly after this it vanished without trace, not into the distance, it was just gone. Selene was convinced that the object had been an ET craft and that they had appeared on purpose to prove to her that she was experiencing contact. Sadly she did not have a camera on her at the time so could not film the UFO. Nor did she tell either of the women who were walking nearby. She felt that they probably didn’t want to see it and she would look stupid if she pointed it out to them. Later on she told her mother about the sighting, and her mum informed her that she had also seen two UFOs that same week! Distraction Dream In this dream, which took place soon after the UFO sighting, Selene found herself standing in a school classroom. There were lots of desks, a blackboard and many windows through which bright sunlight poured. She sensed another person standing alongside her to her left. She looked round and saw that it was her other self from her previous dream. Her other self appeared to be waiting for someone. Then a blue-grey coloured Grey came into view. It was around the same height as her, and appeared younger than the ones she had seen in her other dreams. Selene was aware that the Grey wanted to take away her other self. But her other self said “She doesn’t sleep yet.” The Grey moved its hand up and then Selene began to hear a buzzing noise. Even though she was interested in what the Grey and her other self were doing, she felt obsessed to look for the source of the buzzing sound, it drew her like a magnet. She began to search round the classroom. Suddenly she saw a bee but in reverse colours, mostly black but with yellow stripes. Her other self said to the Grey “She sees it as the bee with opposite colours.” The bee flew around the room and then landed to her right. As it did, a huge sunflower sprouted up from where it sat. Selene felt that the Grey was showing her child-like visions to distract her so that it could take away her other self. She felt that where they were going to she could not follow. She didn’t want to lose sight of them but felt compelled to look at the bee. And when she looked back they were both gone. At that precise moment the bee also vanished and she forgot all about it, she just remembered that she had been searching for something. This dream is certainly metaphorical. It is very unlikely that Selene found herself in this situation and actually physically experienced it as she remembered. However it may well be symbolic, and could suggest that a part of her, perhaps her sub-conscious is linked with the beings, yet her physical body is not. This is what Selene herself feels is the meaning behind this particular dream. Meeting Her Son In late 2011 Selene had a fascinating vision, one which had a lasting effect on her. It happened without warning during the day time. She was on her way to the nursery. Suddenly she saw a male being standing in front of her. He was very tall and was wearing a long dark coloured coat. He had long pale blond/white coloured hair and large completely black eyes, similar to the eyes of the Greys she had seen on previous occasions. However his other features looked completely human. The man then took Selene to a different place. She found herself standing in front of some kind of transparent wall. Through this wall she could see a place covered in lush green vegetation. The sun was shining brightly and it looked beautiful and calm. She turned to look at the tall being. He pointed towards the wall and Selene knew that he was inviting her to step through it. When she did so, her body changed and she found that she now was now one of his race. She was taller and had blonde coloured hair. She was wearing a long pale beige/white coloured coat. She entered a building with a dome made from white coloured stone. Inside the dome she sat down in a circle with other beings. All of them looked similar to her and were wearing the same garments. She watched as they made a drink out of some long green leaves. They handed a cup of this drink to her. She tried it but didn’t like it as it tasted quite bitter. They were talking amongst themselves and also with her, though she cannot remember exactly what was being said. Her next memory was of leaving this strange place. The male being was there near to her. There was also a five year old boy there. Even though he was clearly not human she recognised him as her own son. She knew that she had to leave and return to Earth. She wanted him to come with her but he told her that he could not go. She hugged him and then stepped back through the transparent wall. As she did she once again became human. She then found herself back on Earth walking towards the nursery. But she could still see the male being, although he was standing further away from her. She asked him why she could not take her son with her. He said that he would not survive on Earth so had to remain where he was. The vision of the male being then faded away. Selene felt deeply saddened. It felt to her that her own son had been taken away from her. This feeling remained with her for several weeks and was quite overbearing. During this time she had to keep telling herself over and over that she did not have a son. Drawings Occasionally contactees find that as a result of having contact experiences they suddenly become very artistic, which sometimes is completely unlike them. The art pieces they create appear to be linked with their experiences. They often contain symbols, complex geometrical shapes or recognisable images such as ET faces. Earlier in her life Selene had been an artist. But she had not drawn for many years. However in early 2012 she began feeling the urge to draw pictures again. She believes that these pictures have come as a result of her contact experiences. In the past she would always think of what she was going to draw. However these recent pictures she has drawn have been drawn completely abstract. She has not been aware of what she is drawing and has just let her hand move. When she has drawn these pictures, Selene has felt like there is a female being to her right side guding her hand. It felt like she has stepped aside and let this being control her hand movements, although she has never physically seen anyone there by her. Sometimes she has been given an explanation for what she has drawn, other times she has sensed that the drawing is done to assist in her remembering something from her past. Below are each of the drawings she has done including Selene’s own interpretation of what they may show. “I think that picture on the right represents balanced energy, while the picture on the left side represents unbalanced energy. The spiral above represents a galaxy or something similar. Something is falling from the galaxy.” “I’m not sure what this is. The spiral in the centre represents something (don’t know what), and the spiral on the left represents how we see it or perceive it. The spiral below it represents some kind of imbalance. The helix on the top represent DNA that is trapped in something (I think some kind of energy). The triangles on the top right corner both represent some kind of electrical towers that send or receive signals. Under them is some land with a tower on. I’ve feel I’ve been told by somebody that this picture is to remind me of something, but I don’t remember anything. The rest is very strange to me.” “This is again something to do with DNA. She (the being that was drawing it through me) tried to show me how the DNA looks. There are different frequencies of DNA strands. The other frequency than we do not currently have is, or will be, inside of the present one. On the right side there is some kind of device or machine that is sending something on Earth to stop or promote DNA growth. The little device or machine is doing opposite. I have no idea what the little thing in front of the first described machine is.” “This is the same machine as on the previous picture. DNA needs something to grow or access something, and this device is preventing it from doing so.” “I don’t know what this is. I don’t know if it has some sense or meaning.” Drawings - Analysis These pictures are very interesting indeed, especially as Selene feels that they have been drawn by the ETs working through her rather than thought up by herself. It is clear that many of the pictures show DNA helixes. While the rest of the images are open to interpretation, they could well be themed around energy balances and DNA manipulating devices as Selene believes they are. This fits in with the commonly held belief that the ETs are involved with an ongoing genetic program, mixing our genes with their own and possibly manipulating our development as a species. The final picture seems to show the same electrical towers which Selene has drawn on the second picture. On the right appears to be DNA strands again, perhaps entering something. The upper part of the picture could well show star constellations and possibly a sun or planet in the top right corner. It should also be noted that the base of the 3rd drawing looks somewhat similar to Solsbury Hill, an Iron Age hill fort situated near Batheaston in Somerset, England. Although this is probably just coincidence, it is still worth mentioning. Photograph of Solsbury Hill: Psychic Abilities As with many other contactees, Selene has informed me that she has high intuition and can often sense emotions of people near to her. She can sense what they are feeling. She believes she has had this ability since childhood but has only accepted it as fact in recent years. When she was young she often used to forget people’s names and faces. People used to think she was arrogant. But in reality she just saw them differently. She was more interested in who they were as a person, their personality and emotions. It rarely happens randomly, usually Selene will actively think about how the person is feeling or the emotions will become apparent after she has spent a period of time with them. However occasionally she senses emotions but does not know from who they are coming from. Sometimes Selene will get a visual representation of the cause of the person’s emotions within her head. This may be something recent or something which has happened to them many years ago. Because of her ability, Selene does not like crowds of people and tends to avoid them. There have been a number of occasions where Selene has had confirmation that her ability is real. She has surprised people by telling them how they are feeling. She has informed people of the real reason for their emotional state, and they have been frightened by how she has known this information. Because of these experiences she tends to keep these thoughts to herself more often than not. In over half the contact cases I have investigated, the individuals involved have described having psychic or sixth sense abilities, usually without me having to ask them directly. This is far too regular to be just coincidence, and I am convinced that there is a link between ET contact and these abilities. The real reason for this link is not yet fully understood. Conclusion This is certainly a very interesting case. Because Selene has looked into contact prior to her numerous vivid dreams it is impossible to rule out the possibility that some of what she has seen has not been down to her own imagination. However in addition to these dreams she has had many other contact-related experiences. She has had daytime flashbacks of beings and other worlds, one of the ways that these experiences can often come to light. She has had an impressive UFO sighting which appeared to be in response to a request. She has drawn numerous pieces of art which seem to be linked to her experiences. She has also mentioned other things such as her psychic ability which are often reported by contactees. All of this points to a compelling case for contact. Selene is seeking answers to what has taken place, and has decided to proceed with a hypnotic regression. We plan to go ahead with this in the coming months. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 25/06/2012 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used In many cases of ET contact, it is generally just one individual who undergoes the experiences, with other family members only indirectly affected. However sometimes numerous people can all be directly involved. These cases can be particularly convincing due to multiple accounts of the same incident. This report covers a fascinating experience involving a mother, her son and daughter, as well as an earlier ET visitation experienced by the mother at a young age. Glowing Orb In 1987 Mark, his sister Carol and mother Deidre lived in a RAF officers house which was part of an estate on Muscovey Close, Lyneham, Wiltshire. Mark’s father was RAF air crew so was away from home a lot of the time. Mark was between 13-14 years old, Carol was around 18-19 and Deidre between 36 and 37. He felt that the time was between 1-2am but he did not check the clock. He had gone to bed around 10pm that evening, and felt that he had been asleep for at least a few hours. Outside it a typical still and quiet night. The noise he could hear was a continuous high pitched ringing which seemed to fill the entire house. It seemed to be coming from the back of the house. He had never heard anything like it before and was frightened as to what could be causing it. He was confused and wanted to know what it was, so he jumped out of bed and went through to his mother’s room. He found that she was still asleep, so he woke her up to ask her what the strange sound was. Deidre was just as confused as Mark as to what the sound was. Less than a minute later, Carol also came into the room, again un-nerved by the strange noise. They huddled up on the bed and continued to listen. The noise seemed to slowly be getting louder and louder. A couple of minutes went by, then suddenly without warning a glowing orb of light appeared in the room. It was over to the left of them near to the door. The orb was about 4 feet off the floor and was glowing a bright white, with green shimmering around the edges. It was quite small in size, about the size of an apple. It did not look like a solid object, more like a ball of energy. It was quite clear in the semi-dark room, but was not so bright that it illuminated the surroundings. The orb moved to the right slowly, about a foot every few seconds. As it moved the sound also changed, and it was clear that the noise was resonating from this object. It continued on this straight course across to the right side of the room, by which time it had moved about 15 feet. And then...nothing. Everyone woke up the following morning like normal, and had completely forgotten about the incident. This extremely strange event which had frightened them all during the night had been completely wiped from their minds. Details of the experience would not return for several of years. These details came back to Mark initially, and later to his sister and mother. He doesn’t really know how this happened; there was no sudden flashback or revelation. The memories of what had taken place came back to him but at first felt to him like a unusual dream. However the more he thought about it, the more he felt that it was not a dream and may have actually taken place. He also had a strange feeling that he wasn’t supposed to or allowed to talk about what had happened with anyone. Not long after, Mark was out on a bike ride with his mother. Despite the strong feeling that he wasn’t supposed to talk about the incident, he decided to bring it up in conversation. He recalls feeling the same sense of fear that he had felt on the night itself as he went over the details of what he remembered. To his surprise his mum remembered exactly the same thing. Just like him she had no memory of anything taking place after seeing the glowing orb. She too felt that for some reason she was not supposed to talk about it. Mark felt pleased that his mother had confirmed the incident was real, but was also a sense of fear about what had occurred. A while after the bike ride, Deidre mentioned the incident to Carol. She too had remembered what had happened, and reacted by exclaiming “Oh my god, I thought that was a dream!” Just like Mark and Deidre she could not remember anything else which happened that night. The family did not speak of the incident again until several years later when they were all together somewhere. Mark says this was due to the fact that it felt uncomfortable to talk about it, as well as the fact that there was nothing really any of them could say about it which hadn’t already been discussed. It has remained a mystery ever since. Glowing Orb - Conversation Transcript It was Mark who got in touch with BUFOG about the experience. After speaking with him via E-Mail, I asked him to ask his sister and mother if I could speak with them about what happened. Below is the conversation Mark had with his sister, which he gratefully transcribed for me: M: Morning Carol, don't know if you remember when living in Muscovy seeing that strange light that time? Always confused me to what it was and why I can't remember talking about it the next day and not remembering anything for about two years. Anyway I E-mailed this bloke on a paranormal / UFO website just to ask if anyone else ever had the same experience. I got talking to him and he said he could get some woman he works with to hypnotise me and see if I can remember any more at no cost, so think it would be interesting and worth a go. I spoke to mum about it and she remembers it too but in a slightly different way and is happy to speak to him about it, Anyway this bloke asked if he could E-Mail you and get a statement of what you remember if anything and if you’re interested in finding out anymore. C: Yes I can remember it, but only bits and pieces, mostly I remember a light going across the room, and I didn't remember anything until about 10 years later when mum, you or Simon mentioned it! Was Simon there? I would be happy to give a statement but it's not much my E-Mail address is ***************. Oooh how interesting! M: No was just me you and mum. Cool I'll pass it on. It's just something that's bugged me for years and what I always found strange was the not remembering about it for so long after, as if you witnessed something like that the next day you would surely talk about it and remember. C: I know! That's what I find weird too; I can't remember how old I was? Also when it was brought up I remember thinking that we shouldn't be talking about it! But I don't think that now. M: Yeah that's how I felt for a long time, but not bothered about it now. C: How old were you? M: I think I was about thirteen or fourteen and around sixteen or seventeen when it started to come back to me. C: Ah that makes me twenty! I think it was before I had Sal. But I could have been pregnant. M:  Yeah was think it was about a year before Sal was born. But I'm a bit vague but Justin had moved out so I think it was around that time. Glowing Orb – Mother’s Statement On 22nd April 2012 I got in touch with Deidre about the incident over the phone. Below is the statement that she gave about the experience. As with the rest of the report, the names mentioned have been changed: “It was a long time ago, and it certainly was very odd what happened. I was talking about it to Carol, my daughter and she can remember it quite clearly, but there are things that Mark and I remember that she doesn’t remember. As I remember it, Mark must have been about thirteen, fourteen at the time, and my husband was in the Air Force, and he was away as he always was, and I was in my own in bed. I didn’t wake up to any noise or anything, I just remember waking up to Mark. He said “Mum!” and came into my bedroom, and as he came running in he got into my bed, I saw this light sort of following him, I didn’t know what it was at first, and then my daughter came in as well, and they both just jumped into bed really quietly, and the light as I recall moved across the bedroom, and it was orb-like, sort of tennis ball sized I suppose, and there was a whining with it, and it just went from one side to the other. Now I can’t honestly say what happened to the light. I just remember it going across the room, and I do remember saying to the kids, ‘cause they got into the bed, and I remember saying “Don’t look at it!” I just said “Don’t look at it!” I don’t know why I said this, I think it was the whine and I can remember being frightened actually, and there was no way I would have got out of bed and sort of looked at it, and I often wonder why. And it just went slowly across the room into the corner and I don’t remember after that, and we certainly never talked about it. And it was years, years later, that Mark and I were going for a walk, we had our bikes actually, we were biking up a hill, and he said “You know, there’s something I want to talk to you about.” As soon as he mentioned it I remembered it, and I said “Ooh yeah!” And I’d definitely forgotten but I never thought about it. And then a while after that I saw my daughter Carol and I said “Do you remember?” and she said “Yes I do remember it”. She said “I was really frightened”.  I said “Well we all were, we all got in my bed and honestly I couldn’t tell you anything more about it. The glow of the orb, and the whine, it was like a light, to me it was a light colour like a white light but Carol said to me that she remembered it with a line through it and she said it had a pinky colour to her. And I said no I didn’t see anything that colour. So it’s really a most peculiar thing. I just sort of shrugged my shoulders about it.” Glowing Orb – Sister’s Statement I received Carol’s statement via E-Mail on 25th April 2012. It read as follows: “I was woken by something; I don't know what because I can't remember the noise, although I feel there was one. I went into my mother's bedroom and my brother Mark also came in. My father was away at the time so it was just me, Mark and my mum. I don't remember any of us talking to each other, just getting into my mum’s bed and all cuddling up together and us all being very frightened. Then a light came into my mum’s bedroom, it was approximately 2 feet above the bed and moved across the room from right to left, disappearing through the wall. The size of the light was about a tennis ball size, it may have been slightly bigger and was glowing white and I feel it had a red line running through it, coming out of each end about a foot. At this point I think there was a high pitched humming noise. I can't remember anything else until we talked about it years and years later, not even waking up the next day thinking it was a dream! It wasn't until my mum remarked “Do you remember that strange thing that happened to me, you and Mark years ago?” that I got very upset and had a feeling of panic and saying we shouldn't be talking about it! My feelings of what it was? I don't know, I am inclined to believe it was a poltergeist.” Glowing Orb – Analysis This incident is truly fascinating, and has numerous aspects which fit in with ET contact. It clearly took place as it was experienced by three witnesses, so could not have been a dream or visual & audible hallucination of some kind. What could the glowing orb of light have been? A natural explanation for such a sight could be ball lightning, which are rare but do exist. However these only occur during stormy weather. The weather was clear at the time of the experience. Also ball lightning is completely silent, it is just an electrical charge that builds up in the air. It does not make the loud whining sound which was heard. Therefore I believe this explanation can be put out of the question. Many contactees have reported seeing these orbs around their home, and they do seem to have a link with contact. It is possible that they are a manifestation of some kind, or possess intelligence and are used for monitoring purposes. The way in which the family experienced missing time, and also completely forgot about the experience immediately after it had taken place have both been reported before in many ET contact and UFO sighting cases. There has to be a definite reason why this occurred. Even if one person were to forget about such an experience, the chance that all three witnesses would forget is inconceivable considering how unusual and frightening it was. Also even when the details did come back to them years later, none of them had any recollection as to what happened next – where the orb went, how they returned to their beds. If the two children were frightened they would surely have remained in the room with their mother and slept alongside her. Yet when they woke up in the morning they were all back in their own beds. What occurred here is commonly referred to as a memory block. This is something which I and many others believe to be a genuine part of contact experiences, and probably initiated by the ETs themselves so that the individuals will not recall what has happened to them. There are many different theories as to why they would do this, but I feel it is probably done to prevent any long term trauma that the experience may cause. Another aspect that is common with these so called memory blocks is that the individual feels that they are not allowed to or should not discuss the experience with anyone else. This suggests that the ETs do not want them to share the details of what has happened to them. Considering the fact that these beings are working in covert and are not currently engaging with the human race openly, this makes perfect sense. All three witnesses in this case experienced these feelings, although they now feel more open to talk about what happened after so many years. Mark has decided to be regressed to see if any further details about this experience come to light. This will be arranged within the coming months, and I will update this report with any findings after it has taken place. It would be great if Carol could be independently regressed, but at present this is not something she wishes to proceed with. Deidre has stated that she has gone for hypnosis before but she could not be hypnotised. She says that because of this it is unlikely to work and for this reason does not wish to go ahead with one at this time. Grey Visitation The glowing orb incident was not the first experience that Deidre had ever had. When I rang her up to ask about what took place at Lyneham, she recounted a visitation from a Grey, and possible abduction which occurred when she was young. Earlier in her life she lived over in Kenya on a farm. One day in 1957 when she was just 5 years old, she went to check on the chickens. They were kept in a round hutch along a path which lead through the bush from the main farm buildings. Off to the left side of the path was a large field of maize. This was very high, about 6-7 feet tall. It was also very dense. Deidre walked along past this field of maize. When she had almost reached the chicken’s hutch, she suddenly had the distinct feeling that something was watching her. She looked up and to her left, and saw the face of a Grey staring directly at her. Obviously at the time she had no idea what it was, however later on when she was older she saw pictures of Greys and realised that what she had seen looked the same. The Grey had large black eyes and very pale skin, nearly white in colour. Its head was sticking out above the crop, and was swaying back and forth. Deidre could not see the body of the being as the maize was too dense. However the crop was very tall so unless the being was over 7 feet in height, it appears to have been floating. This could explain the swaying motion observed. The being was clearly observing her. Deidre was of course un-nerved by the strange creature looking at her. She crouched down and began drawing in the dirt. She felt that if she ignored the being and didn’t look at it, it would go away. She did this for a short while without anything happening. In the end she decided to look up to see if it was still there. This was the last thing that she remembers doing. Just like the glowing orb experience, Deidre then had a period of missing time. As she was so young she finds it difficult to say what her next clear memory was. She certainly doesn’t remember walking back to the house. However she does have a very strange memory that she feels may be related. She remembers being inside her home next to a rolled up decorated rug in the living room. She was bending down and rubbing the ends of her fingers on the rug again and again until the ends of them were red and sore. She has no idea why she was doing this, and while she is not certain about when this occurred, she believes it was directly after seeing the Grey in the field. Grey Visitation – Analysis If this incident took place as Deidre remembers, then it is clear that she is a contactee. Whether she has had other experiences prior to the glowing orb which have been blocked out of her mind is unknown at present. However there is certainly the possibility that the two incidents we do know about are connected despite the fact that they occurred in different countries and many years apart. After speaking with her in depth, I do not believe that Deidre is fabricating this experience at all. At the time she did not know that the strange figure she saw peering at her was an ET, she only found this out when she was older when she saw a drawing of a Grey somewhere and recognised its features. Just as with the glowing orb incident, Deidre has a period of missing time surrounding the experience. This suggests that she may have been abducted after seeing the Grey in the field. Perhaps its ship was nearby and she was taken on board, at present we can only speculate. Another interesting aspect is what she was doing directly after the experience – rubbing her fingers on a rug again and again. Could something have been on her fingers that she was determined to remove, something which was causing irritation? As mentioned earlier,. Deidre has already turned down hypnotic regression due to the fact that she has tried hypnosis before and it didn’t work on her. Therefore it is unlikely she will ever find out what happened during the missing time and how she got back to her house. Conclusion This case is on-going, and until Mark has been regressed it would be unwise to draw many conclusions. However there are many aspects of the glowing orb incident which fit with ET contact, and I would not be at all surprised to find out that it was related. Also the incident which happened in Kenya certainly sounds like a definite visitation, as it is very unlikely she would have seen/heard about Greys or the contact subject when she was only five. As there was also missing time with this incident it appears that this visitation may have been followed by an abduction experience, although she has no memories of this at present. Birmingham UFO Group Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 13/05/2012 Introduction Soufian lives in a town called Helden in the Netherlands. He first got in touch with BUFOG in late March 2012. He has experienced many unusual things over the years, most of which began in his teens. These experiences have included visitations by beings, abductions, psychic abilities, unusual vivid dreams and other strange phenomena. After looking into the ET contact subject, Soufian realised the extent to which his experiences fitted with it. He decided to purchase and read Awakening – the excellent book on contact by Australian ET contact specialist Mary Rodwell, and found that he could relate to a lot of what was mentioned. After initially getting in touch with Mary, he then came across BUFOG due to my own investigation into the subject. Over many E-Mails he has provided some excellent information on his experiences, as well as many drawings which are scattered throughout this report. Morocco Being Visitation In June 2004 when Soufian was 19 years old he went with his family on holiday to their house in Al Aâroui, Nador, Morocco. The house is big enough for Soufian to have his own bedroom.  His two sisters shared a second bedroom, and in the third were his parents and younger brother. The incident happened in the second week of their stay. It was particularly hot weather, too hot to lie on the bed close to the wall. Soufian had laid his mattress down on the floor and was sleeping on it close to the open doorway of the room. The windows were also left open to cool down the room as much as possible.  Soufian and his family went to sleep about 10.30-11.00pm. At some point in the night Soufian began to experience what he put down at the time to a nightmare. He was lying down on the mattress with his eyes open. He was not sure what time of night it was. The room was quite dark but was partially lit by moonlight coming in through the open shutters. He looked through the doorway of his room over to the door of his parents bedroom. There standing in the doorway was a strange being, which was looking right at him. The being was around 1.5 metres in height. It was humanoid in shape. It appeared to be unclothed. Its body appeared to be covered in a light brown coloured silky fur. This fur extended right down over its hands. No fingers were visible. The creature had large rounded black coloured eyes which Soufian describes as “lifeless and without a soul”. It had very small nostrils and its nose was not very pronounced. Its mouth was open, exposing pointed pale-white coloured teeth. No ears were visible from the front. Strangely although he had a clear view of the creature, Soufian does not remember seeing any feet. Witness drawing of the being: 📷 After a moment the being began to move towards Soufian. It appeared to be floating a short distance above the floor. Its arms and legs hung down and did not sway back and forth. Soufian began to panic as the being got closer to him. Then one at a time, the windows in the room began to slam shut extremely violently. At this moment Soufian jumped up off the mattress and ran through into the bathroom, locking the door behind him. As he did so he felt that the being was chasing after him. Although it had felt like a bad dream, he was now definitely awake and very frightened. He was shocked by what had happened and very upset. He did not call out to the others in the house as he didn’t think they’d believe him so there was no point. After this time he cautiously made his way back to the bedroom. The being was nowhere to be seen, but Soufian could see that the shutters were almost closed, whereas when he had gone to sleep they were definitely open. He lay down on the mattress again but was still frightened and could not sleep for a long while. In the end he finally dropped off. In the morning without saying anything to her, Soufian’s mother stated that she had heard him shouting out during the night. She assumed that this was a bad dream which is why she did not get up and go through to his room. Soufian did not tell her about what had happened. After a while he too put it down to a dream, despite the way in which the shutters were now nearly closed. However now looking back at the experience he believes that this was an ET visitation. This is certainly an interesting experience. Could Soufian have really been visited by an ET during that night? The being had certain characteristics that fit in with one of the most commonly reported species, the Greys; The slender body, the large black coloured eyes, small nose and short height. However there are other characteristics which are very unusual and do not fit with it being a Grey. The fact that it was covered in a silky fur is very unusual. Although fur-covered beings have been described before they are quite rare. The sharp pointed teeth again are un-common, and give the creature a very animalistic presence. It appeared to float towards him rather than walk. This combined with the slamming windows suggests that the being possessed telekinetic powers, which in turn means it was unlikely to have been a wild animal of some kind. What are we to make of the slamming window shutters? Why would the being have done this in the first place? This seems a very odd thing to do. Could the being have been trying to frighten Soufian or display its power to him? The fact the shutters were nearly closed when Soufian re-entered his bedroom does suggest that something took place and that the experience was more than just a bad dream. What the being wanted with him is unknown at present. It is unlikely that anything else occurred due to the fact that he got up and ran through into the bathroom. There is no indication of any missing time surrounding this experience. Pale Skinned Female At some point in 2010 Soufian experienced another visitation which this time included a painful operation-like procedure. He was at his home in Helden. He went to sleep as normal. In the middle of then night, Soufian began to have a strange dream. In this dream he saw himself lying down in bed. There was a tall and slender female humanoid figure standing alongside the bed, about 1 metre away. The lady was wearing light coloured robes She had pale grey coloured skin and long pale blonde/white hair which hung down to her shoulders. She looked very healthy, with smooth skin. For some reason Soufian does not remember her facial features. Her arms and lower legs were exposed, and other than the skin tone looked human. Painting which reminds the witness of the female being he saw: 📷 Soufian stared at this scene for a couple of seconds. Then without warning the figure was closer and appeared to have her hands down inside of his lower chest. He immediately felt excruciating pain, like the lady was moving his lower ribs back and forth and crushing down on them. From his current viewpoint he could not see whether or not his chest was actually opened up, but he feels that it wasn’t and that the hands of this being had somehow entered his skin. He watched himself struggling against what was taking place, but he felt that he was paralyzed and trapped. The intense pain continued. He tried shouting out but could not scream, there was just complete silence. This procedure seemed to go on for a very long time, possibly a couple of hours, although Soufian says that it could have been less but felt so long due to the pain. Then all of a sudden it was over. The lady vanished and he awoke with a shock. However despite the traumatic experience he had just undergone, Soufian soon drifted back off to sleep. In the morning he lay in bed remembering what had taken place. He could feel that his lower ribs were aching. At first he was frightened to check, but after about half an hour he looked over his body for any markings or cuts. There was nothing. He got up and went into work like normal. The aching pain in his ribs continued for several hours before finally dispersing. However his ribs continued to feel sensitive for at least another day. With this particular experience I am torn two ways. Some of the aspects of what was experienced do fit in with sleep paralysis, a fact which Soufian is aware of and does not deny. During sleep paralysis the individual finds that they cannot move no matter how hard they try. They try to call out and nothing happens. Sometimes during sleep paralysis can include visions of either shadowy moving forms in the room or specific figures. These figures will sometimes climb on top of the individual, pushing down on their chest or attempt to choke them. Because of the feeling of being held down, the brain comes up with a reason to explain why this is happening. This is of course similar to the crushing sensations that Soufian felt during the experience. Also Soufian felt that he was asleep at the time. The fact that he was looking down at the experience rather than actually seeing it with his own eyes tends to back this up. However with all of the above said, I find  Soufian’s description of the being very interesting. In sleep paralysis experiences, people can imagine all sorts of horrible figures, such as a witches or demons. However the being that Soufian described has many characteristics which fit in with it being a Nordic or hybrid. The being was beautiful and very healthy looking. She had long pale blonde hair and was wearing flowing robes. All of these are commonly described. The lady’s skin tone was a pale grey colour. Nordics usually are either described as having pale flesh coloured skin or tanned skin. However the ET race known as the Greys are usually described as having a pale grey coloured skin. One of the known ET agendas which crops up time and time again in contact cases is the hybrid breeding program. Often the ETs mix their own DNA, or mix theirs with human DNA to create cross breeds. The reason behind this is not fully understood yet, although there are numerous theories. Could this being have been a Grey-Nordic hybrid or a Grey-Human hybrid? If so this suggests that his experience actually took place. The fact that his ribs ached for several hours the following day is another factor which seems to suggest that something real occurred. Orange Sphere Late evening in November 2010 Soufian was in his bedroom at his home on Van Wisstraat, Helden. It was between 9.30-10.00pm. He looked out of his bedroom window. It was a very clear night outside and the stars were fully visible. He decided to go up to the attic to get a better look at them from the attic window. Photograph of the attic window: 📷 He opened the window and peered out. He first looked down to see if anyone was around but it was quiet. He then looked back up. As he did so he was astounded to see a glowing sphere to the upper left of his vision, several feet away from his face. It was about the size of a football, and was glowing orange with a black core. The glow coming from it was constantly bright. He stood there completely still staring at it. He felt completely calm by the situation. Despite the fact it was only 12 degrees centigrade outside he did not feel cold at all, a fact which he finds odd looking back at the experience. He was fascinated by the object. After around 10 minutes he decided to look away a moment. When he looked back it had completely vanished. Despite this, he was absolutely convinced that the object had been real and not just an optical illusion or light reflection. He did not tell anyone about what he had seen as he felt that they would not believe him. There are a number of possible explanations which could be given for such an experience, but many of them do not stand up to the facts. It could not have been a nearby Chinese lantern as these have a definite shape to them, a shape which is only blurred at a distance. Also we must take into account the fact that it didn’t move at all for a period of 10 minutes, a lantern would definitely have drifted during this time. There are no orange lights in the vicinity of Soufian’s house which could account for the orb. On the opposite side of the road are some normal yellow street lights, however these are down low below the height of the attic. The orb could not have been a reflection from a light inside the house, as Soufian had turned off all the lights in the attic to get a better view of the stars. It is extremely unlikely to have been ball lighting, as this is not orange in colour, and also only appears during stormy weather when the air is electrically charged. Also again it would not have remained motionless for 10 minutes. It cannot be put out of the question that it was some kind of optical illusion. The fact that it vanished when Soufian looked away then back could support this theory. However Soufian has not had any other sightings of similar objects so why would this have occurred on this particular occasion? Contactees often report seeing glowing orbs of light in their proximity around their home. These sometimes appear to be under intelligent control and could be observational devices, or may even be a manifestation of energy. Therefore this experience does fit in with one of the common aspects of contact and certainly should not be ruled out. Related Dreams Soufian has often had very vivid dreams, some of which have featured elements that could be related to contact. Often memories of experiences may come back in the form of dreams rather than as conscious memories. Sometimes these dreams may be clear recollections of events, other times aspects of the experience may come back in a metaphorical sense. In March 2011 Soufian had a bizarre dream. In this dream, he opened the front door of his house to take a look at the neighbourhood. It was early afternoon of a bright sunny day. Nobody else was around, but coming down from the sky onto the road were numerous red beams of light, which reminded him of lasers. He looked up into the sky and realised that these beams were the base of a strange glowing red grid that stretched up as far as he could see. This is where the dream ended. While this dream does not seem to have much to do with contact, numerous people have spoken before of an invisible energy grid surrounding the Earth put into place by the ETs. Could Soufian have been shown this grid via this particular dream or was it just his imagination? In the autumn of 2011 Soufian had a dream in which he viewed sights elsewhere in space. The dream began with a vision of flying very fast through the air, watching the landscape rush by below him. After a while his view suddenly changed, and he found himself in space with stars all around him. He did not see his own body it was more like a vision. He was close to a orange-brown coloured planet which he assumed was Mars. He looked down in awe at the surface of the planet. Artist’s impression of Mars which Soufian says is very similar to what he saw in the dream: 📷 Again after a number of minutes his view shifted again and he found himself viewing the inside of a space craft or space station. There was a hallway with metallic flooring. The floor was split into hexagons like a honeycomb. Alongside this hallway were large computer-like machines covered in buttons. These machines were behind metal fencing and pillars. There were some boxes stacked on the floor, and off to the left was a path leading somewhere. He watched two people walk along the hallway, a man and a lady.  They were wearing tight fitting suits which were dark green and black in colour. The figures turned, and Soufian could see that the man was himself at a slightly younger age. The lady started speaking to his other self, but he was too far away to hear what was being said. Both of them appeared happy and were smiling. He remembered everything which he had just dreamed.  It had felt far more real than a normal dream would, like actual memories of a real experience. Soufian believes that the dream was real, and that the male figure he saw in the dream was another version of him elsewhere in the universe or in a different dimension. Could this vision have been of actual events, or was it nothing more than a dream? It is very hard to say for sure. It is entirely possible for Soufian to have dreamt up these things, anyone can have a dream of flying in space and exploring craft. Other than the fact that he was out in space there is nothing directly linking this with ET contact. He did not see any ET beings during the dream, the figures appeared human. ETs almost always talk telepathically, yet the woman he saw spoke using her mouth like normal. If we assume for a moment that the dream was of a real experience, who was this other self he saw? Could it have been a dream of a prior experience and it was actually him? Perhaps it was a clone which had been made from his DNA. Or maybe it was as Soufian believes – another him existing elsewhere. On 5th January 2012 Soufian had a dream about a UFO. He found himself walking along a path by the edge of the sea after dark. To his left was the open sea. Some cargo boats were floating near the shore. To his right an area of grass and a small forest. There was a bench at the edge of the path with an old woman on. A younger girl was standing alongside the bench. He went and sat down next to them and started talking with them. He does not recall what he said but was trying to make something clear to them. They looked up and saw eight circular red coloured lights in the sky above them. It was quite large in size and cigar-shaped, with short rounded wings at each end. There were a number of symbols on its side. It flew diagonally down towards the sea. When it was above the boats near the shore it suddenly tipped over upside-down. Then it descended into the water behind the boats. Soufian expected there to be an explosion but there was not even the sound of a splash. This is where the dream ended. He was in his bedroom during the night, standing among at least 10 small children. Soufian wondered what they were doing in his room. He noticed that the children were all staring across to one side of the room. At first he thought they were watching the TV. But he glanced round and at this moment saw a strange creature standing in his closet. It had a dark shadowy form, and appeared to have no arms or legs. The creature had black eyes with grey around the edges. No other facial features were visible. It stood there staring for a few seconds then moved sideways and vanished into the wall. He could hear his sister calling for him to hurry. They ran outside the house and there were cars waiting to pick them all up. His sister was in one of the cars. At this moment he woke up.  While it is unlikely that this dream actually took place, it perhaps has elements brought on by prior contact experiences. His description of the strange creature is interesting as is the presence of many other children. It should be noted that while these dreams appear to have elements related to UFOs or ETs, Soufian has informed me of many other dreams which are unusual but not directly related so they have not been included in this report. Obviously it is important to differentiate these dreams from things which have happened to Soufian while he has been awake, or at least felt that he has. It is entirely possible that they are nothing more than vivid dreams, something which anyone is capable of experiencing. Premonitions Soufian has informed me that on numerous occasions he has seemingly had premonitions of events before they have taken place. These visions come to him in the form of dreams which look like watching a black and white movie. Sometimes Soufian’s premonitions are about people he knows, other times they seem to be completely random. Psychic abilities such as this are often reported by contactees, and may well be either a side effect of contact, or the reason the ETs are interested in them in the first place. In mid 2011 a Turkish woman and her husband used to live on his road. One night Soufian had a dream or vision in which the woman had died. He saw her friends and family all dressed in black with sad expressions on their faces, and a black funeral car. When describing how it felt to experience this vision, Soufian says it was like “looking through a viewing hole” at the scene. When he woke up he wondered whether he should do anything, like perhaps go and tell the lady’s husband what he had dreamed. But he felt that he would not believe him. Two days later the lady died and Soufian’s premonition came true. The lady’s grand-daughter came to the house and spoke with his mother. She informed her that her grandmother had died of a heart attack Soufian realised that he had known about the incident prior to it taking place. He still feels guilty about it and wonders if he could have done anything to stop it from happening. He has not told anyone else about what happened. His family is Muslim and he says that they would not believe him or would say it was down to the devil. Abduction Memories In January 2012 Soufian appears to have undergone an abduction experience. He went off to sleep like any other night. At some point during the night he opened his eyes and found himself elsewhere. There was darkness everywhere, and he found that he was paralysed from the neck downward. He craned his neck round and could see that he was lying on a smooth surfaced metallic table. The edges of it curved up a bit and he could see a band of metal around the edge. Most of the surroundings were completely dark, but there was a faint yellow glow coming from behind his head. Also either floating or hanging about 2 metres above him was a frame of some kind made from glowing yellow tubes/pipes. These tubes were self illuminated but not extremely bright. They were around 1.2-1.4 metres in height. They had a slender build with long skinny necks. They had large over-sized heads with completely black almond-shaped eyes, two small nostrils, and a slit like mouth. No ears were discernible and their noses were not pronounced. The beings were wearing black coloured long sleeved robes which covered their bodies and legs, though their hands were exposed. All of the beings were staring right at him. Their eyes were emotionless yet he sensed intelligence from them. Looking back at the incident he is puzzled why he was not panicking. This feeling of calmness has been described by many contactees and UFO witnesses, and appears to be a regular aspect of these experiences. He recognised the beings around him as Greys. He looked around trying to establish where he was, looking for something familiar, but there was only darkness. He did this for about 15-20 seconds. After this he has no memories of what happened next. His next conscious memory was of waking up the following morning. He remembered the above details and immediately began writing them down. Also for some unknown reason he felt he had to touch the base of his spine above his pelvis. Soufian has no idea whether the incident happened during that night or whether it was memories of an earlier experience, but he feels certain that it really took place. Vision Of Grey One morning in February 2012 Soufian awoke earlier than usual, at around 5am. The room was quite dark but the shutters on the window were not fully closed, allowing some light into the room. As Soufian slowly opened his eyes he realised there was Grey standing in his bedroom. It was across the room from him standing still. It was unclothed and slender, with pale grey coloured smooth skin. The being turned its head and looked directly at Soufian. At this point he noticed that its eyes were not completely black, it appeared to have irises. Soufian felt a great sense of sadness from the being, and it had a slightly saddened expression on its face. Unlike the Greys he had seen previously in his abduction experience, this one seemed to convey emotion. He was not frightened of the Grey, and wanted to help it with whatever was causing it this sadness. Soufian immediately got up out of bed and wrote down the details of what had happened. As with his other experiences he kept what he had seen to himself. Soon it was normal morning time and he got ready for work like usual. It is unclear what this experience may have involved. Perhaps it was an actual visitation. Shadow Being Roughly one week after the vision of the Grey in his bedroom, Soufian had another experience in which something else was briefly seen. It was about 8am and Soufian had just woken up. He walked along the landing to the bathroom to have a wash. As he walked he glanced to the right into the open doorway of his parents room. For a brief moment he was greeted by the sight of a strange shadowy form standing over by the window inside the room. It was about 1.7 metres in height, a little shorter than himself. The shape had no discernable humanoid shape it was just a shadow-like form. It was only present for a second before it faded away. Contactees have often spoken of seeing strange moving shadow-like forms around their house. These are commonly referred to as shadow beings, and are one of the many mysterious aspects of the paranormal. There is a chance that this is what Soufian saw. However as it was only briefly visible and did not move at all, there is also the possibility that it was just a temporary optical illusion, perhaps caused by his sleepy eyes becoming accustomed to the morning light. Or perhaps a brief shadow caused by something outside. Night Time Experiences Soufian regularly hears unusual buzzing or beeping sounds when he is just about to drop off to sleep. It occurs between 1-2 times a week. He is usually dozing and about to enter deep sleep when it occurs. Usually he hears a buzzing sound which lasts for between 2-20 seconds. Sometimes the noise is accompanied with a vision of white light coming towards him in his mind, or vibrations felt throughout his body. Occasionally he also hears a loud continual beep noise which can last up to 2 minutes. Some of the strange dreams that Soufian has had have begun with this experience. The reason for these sounds and feelings is unclear. Due to their regularity, it is possible they are a medical condition or related to sleep paralysis. However it is a known fact that many contactees have heard such sounds and felt vibrations, often directly before a contact experience. This suggests that the noises are related to contact in some way, and are perhaps a side effect or even scanning by the ETs. However they are also mentioned as side effects of out-of-body experiences. Soufian has often experienced OBEs, otherwise known as astral projection. He informs me that he has the ability to do this at will. The experience usually begins with him leaving his physical body. He then finds himself flying to other places extremely fast. Often if he thinks of a certain place he will travel there, though whether he is actually there or if the OBE takes place just in his mind is open to speculation. At first glance these experiences appear separate and un-related to ET contact. However once again many contactees have reported having OBEs. Other Signs The ET contact phenomena has many varied aspects to it, and there are many signs which can indicate that contact is taking place. Sometimes these can be clearly related to experiences the individual has had, other times they can appear completely un-related. In the extensive notes Soufian has provided, he has mentioned many of these signs, including the following: - Has a fear of the dark, and of rooms without a window covering (curtains/shutters). Contactees often get a phobia of the dark or of having to go to sleep at night as they are aware that this is when they have been taken. - Has irregular sleep patterns. This can again sometimes be linked to night-time contact experiences. - Feels he is constantly being watched by an unseen presence. This is commonly reported by contactees, and may well be down to ongoing observation/monitoring by the ETs. - Unexplained sounds within his home and occasional voices speaking his name. Contactees often experience paranormal activity such as this within their home, and I have heard others mention that they have heard their own name being called. - Feels a strong connection to the stars and moon. Often spoken of by contactees, perhaps this is down to a sense of where the ETs they are in contact with have originated from. - Feels he is here for something specific, but does not yet know what this is. Often reported by contactees, perhaps this is down to whatever purpose they have been taken in the first place for, something they are supposed to do here on Earth within their life time. - Feels different to most other people. Feels in some way different to his family, almost like he has been adopted. This tends to be reported by individuals commonly referred to as “star children”. These are people who have a deeper connection with the ETs and view them as their other family, usually from an early age. While Soufian does express some of these characteristics I do not feel there is enough evidence to say that he is a “star child”. - Drawn to remote places for an unknown reason. Most outside contact experiences take place in remote locations so that there are few if any witnesses. This indicates that Soufian may have been taken while outside at some point. - Has felt energy surges through his body at times. Another unusual physical aspect sometimes described by contactees. - Is sensitive towards many chemicals/drugs. For an unknown reason, contactees often find that they have allergies towards unnatural products. - Has very acute hearing. Contactees often have highly developed senses and report having highly sensitive hearing, smell or sight. It should be noted that these signs on their own are not outright proof that Soufian is a contactee, as many people can experience these things. However they are often reported so should still be taken into consideration. Conclusion As you can see, Soufian has had many interesting experiences, some of which are directly linked with contact, and others which may well be. Although it is unknown if his vivid dreams are related, he certainly appears to be a contactee, something he has until recently had to deal with completely alone. He  feels that his family and friends would not understand what he is going through, a fact that is often sadly proved to be the case. However he has gratefully shared his experiences with me and anyone else who decides to listen and treat them with the seriousness that they deserve. His experiences appear to be ongoing, so it is likely that he will have further contact going forward. If he keeps in touch with BUFOG this report will be updated as necessary. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 10/01/2012 Last Updated: 11/01/2023 Introduction For the last couple of decades one of the more widely reported UFO types has been the Flying Triangle. On 13th December 2011 active West Midlands Police Officer Gary Nock got in touch with BUFOG to report the sighting of one such object, which had been seen by him and his family on the evening of 7th December. Gary had also reported the sighting to the Express and Star newspaper in order to establish whether anyone else had also seen it. On 14th December I drove out to the sighting location to discuss the incident with Gary face-to-face, and also get some location photographs. This report contains both a detailed overview of what took place, and the newspaper article. Sighting Details It was 6.40pm on the 7th December 2011. Gary, his wife, his daughter and her boyfriend Jamie were on their way out to the Badgers Sett pub in Hagley for a meal. It was a very clear and still evening, and due to the time of year it was dark and the stars were already out. The pub is situated on Hagley Causeway. Opposite the pub is the Clent Hills which are made up of grass covered-fields and areas of woodland. As the family approached the pub, Gary noticed some lights out of the front window of the car. The lights were off to the right of the road to the East. They were white in colour and arranged in a line. They were low down, just over the tops of trees at the western end of Hagley Wood. They appeared to be heading in the direction of them and the pub. It was clear that they were attached to a single object, but as it was getting dark it was hard to make this out at first. He pointed the lights out to everyone else in the car. Gary turned into the pub car park and parked. He was intrigued by the white lights and so quickly got out. He asked Jamie to come and take a look. Leaving his wife and daughter at the car, the men walked back to the path that separated the car park from the road. When they looked back over at the field they saw that the object had now changed course and was no longer heading towards them but had turned and was now moving away from them to the South East. It was clear that the object had banked as it was now at a sharp angle, giving a clear view of the lights on its underside. The main body of the object appeared to be black in colour, and was triangular in shape. It was dark but the shape could be made out as it blocked out the stars. Gary noted that unlike a stealth bomber or other known aircraft, the rear of the object was completely straight. On its underside there was a white light at each corner, and in the centre a dimmer red coloured ring of light. This ring appeared to be separated into sections. The object was very large indeed – Gary says that it was at least half the size of a football pitch, if not larger. The object was moving slowly, Gary estimates about 20 mph. There was not much traffic on the road, and Gary noted that it was completely silent. The two witnesses continued to watch the object as it glided smoothly over the field. Then as it got close to a cluster of trees on top of the slope which make up part of Short Wood, it dropped down behind the tree line out of sight. Both witnesses were amazed at what they had seen, and were certain that it had not been a conventional aircraft of any kind. Gary has had an interest in UFOs for many years and so realised that the object fitted in with descriptions of Flying Triangle craft. He was convinced that this is what they had seen. Over the meal they excitedly discussed the object. The following day he decided to contact the local Express & Star newspaper in the hope that someone else would also report seeing the UFO. The newspaper article was printed on the 13th December. Nobody else has yet claimed to have sighted the object on that evening (at least to Gary’s knowledge), however the newspaper made the connection between it and other Flying Triangle sightings which have occurred in the Birmingham area over recent years. It has been suggested that these sightings are all of the same object, which has been given the nickname “the Dudley Dorito” as the shape is similar to that of a Dorito crisp. A mysterious triangular UFO dubbed the ‘Dudley Dorito’ has re-appeared in the region’s skies with the latest sighting reported near to a Midlands beauty spot. Property worker Gary Nock and his family were on the car park of the Badgers Sett pub, Hagley, when they saw the distinctive object flying overhead. The 52-year-old said the UFO, a black triangle with white lights at each end, was flying at low altitude from the direction of Birmingham. He said the object had turned silently in the air and they had eventually lost sight of it as it passed over the Clent Hills. The sighting occurred at around 6.40pm on Wednesday  and Mr Nock immediately looked it up on the internet after returning home. And he said the UFO bore a close resemblance to the “Dudley Dorito” first spotted over the skies of the Black Country a few years ago. Mr Nock said he, his wife Susan, daughter Claire and her boyfriend Jamie Burgoyne had just arrived at the pub to have a meal. “We were just getting out of the car when we saw this object overhead. It was very low in the sky and could easily be seen,” he said. “At first I thought it could have been a jet but no aircraft has those types of lights to my knowledge. “It banked to the one side and made no sound whatsoever which was also strange. It was so low we lost sight of it over the tree line of the Clent Hills. When we got back Jamie and I looked it up on the internet and saw the stories about the Dudley Dorito and what we saw does bear a resemblance to it.” Mr Nock said he believed the craft could be an experimental military plane. “I know about planes but have never seen anything like this. “It does look a little like a B2 stealth plane but that makes a sound this one did not. It is a mystery.” It is the latest in a long list of sightings over the Black Country. The UFO was last seen earlier this year by security officer Glyn Richards while in the back garden of his home in Quarry Bank. It has also been spotted over Tipton, Brierley Hill and Oldbury. Sighting Analysis After meeting with Gary face-to-face to discuss the incident, I am absolutely convinced that this is a genuine sighting of a Flying Triangle craft. Gary appears very trustworthy and was absolutely thrilled at what he had experienced. He has thought about the sighting logically and compared the shape of the object to known triangular military aircraft. The fact that at the time he was an active Police Officer with West Midlands Police Force at the time (now retired) also helps with the authenticity of his testimony. Police tend to be very observant of their surroundings to aid in the collection of evidence, and may well spend extended periods of time outdoors while on patrol. The object that Gary described seeing is a “classic” Flying Triangle craft. The shape, colour and large size match many other sightings. And the lighting configuration and colours is also the most commonly reported, although there are numerous other configurations also described. It is likely that there are many different types of FT, in much the same way that we have many different styles of cars. The segmented ring shape of the red light is not always reported, sometimes just a red light is seen, but there are numerous cases where this exact shape has been described. As well as the appearance of the object, there are a number of other reasons why it was unlikely to be a conventional aircraft. Gary says that it was flying much too close to the ground, between 100-150 feet at most. It was gliding too slowly to be a jet, and was completely silent. At that altitude and distance a normal aircraft would certainly have been audible, especially after dark. It was clearly under control so was not a drifting electronically lit balloon, and was much too big to be a remote controlled model. Although a secret military aircraft cannot be completely put out of the question in this particular case, I know of numerous cases which directly link these craft with extra-terrestrial beings, including some I have directly investigated. There are also cases where these craft have been seen to perform incredible manoeuvres, changing direction instantly, hovering motionless and displaying astounding velocity and acceleration. Also it is very unlikely that a secret military aircraft would be flown in full view over a highly populated area, this does not make any logical sense. The newspaper article puts the incident down to another sighting of the “Dudley Dorito”. While it is possible that a single craft is returning to areas of Birmingham on numerous occasions, I find it more likely that these are separate sightings of different Flying Triangle craft. These objects are seen all around the world, and you can read of many other cases featuring similar objects outside of Birmingham. It should also be noted that the article states that the object flew over the heads of the witnesses, which is incorrect. It initially looked as though it would but then changed course and moved away from their location. Perhaps its occupants were aware they were being observed, or maybe decided that the brightly lit pub would expose them too much. We can only speculate as to why the craft was in the area in the first place. The FT moved away in the direction of Bromsgrove, so it is certainly possible that there were other witnesses who have yet to come forward. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Originally forwarded by Richard Hall Release Date: 22/11/2011 Introduction In October 2003, the three Concorde aircraft landed at Heathrow airport for the last time. This was quite a big event for aviation enthusiasts and was covered live on daytime news. Ewan (name changed for privacy reasons) knew a UFO investigator from Quest International. After the Concorde footage aired on TV, Ewan was contacted by this investigator. The investigator told him that there were a number of unidentified aerial objects in the footage. He sent Ewan the footage for him to take a look at. Ewan spent a day going through this footage and slowing it down. He believed that some of the objects were nothing more than birds. However one particular object puzzled him. It is this object that forms the basis of this report. In February 2011, Ewan finally decided to get in touch with Richard Hall about the video footage, and subsequently it was passed on to me for analysis. Below are my findings. Video Analysis The video is from live TV and shows Concorde landing at Heathrow Airport on 24th October 2003. About 25 seconds into the footage, as the camera tracks the aircraft on its landing path, what appears to be a white cigar or flattened disc shaped object moves across the screen. It seems to be solid with a darker shadowed area at the base which suggests it has a curved surface. It appears to be in the distance behind Concorde rather than flying directly under it. Below is the video footage recorded off live TV. The object can be seen at 24 seconds into the footage: Here is a slowed down video showing the pass of the object: As you can see, interestingly the object appears to be either wobbling or perhaps even spinning as it moves along. In relation to how Concorde appears on the screen it is of course quite small, but certainly appears to be a solid object of some description. It is either white in colour, or could possibly be metallic and brightly reflecting sunlight. Could the flapping of the bird’s wings be responsible for the wobbling effect seen? However to counteract this argument the object appears too defined and smooth edged to be a bird, and it retains its shape for the entire second that it is visible in the footage. If it was a bird we may expect to make out a rough bird shape which would alter in each frame rather than remain identical. Also the object is stationary, as it appears to be, then it is unlikely to be a bird. Unfortunately it is impossible to ascertain whether or not the object is moving because the camera is panning and there is nothing else in the background to compare it against. Other possibilities are that it is another distant aircraft or blimp, or a small lenticular cloud. Perhaps the wobbling motion was caused by camera shake. There is one anomaly within the video. In one frame when the object is about 1/3 of the way across the screen, there are smaller white “objects” seen to the left of it. These are not visible in the frames before or after. It is probable that they are caused by pixilation and nothing more, especially as they appear to be the same width and at the same height, but the video footage is quite clear, and is not at all grainy. This is a possibility worth considering and even though there are other possible mundane explanations it cannot be put out of the question. If it is a craft of some kind, did anyone aboard Concorde actually see it during their descent to the airport? Whatever it is, it certainly appeared to be a solid object rather than just a reflection on the camera lens. I have searched on-line but to my knowledge nobody else spotted the object in the TV footage. Though considering the occasion they probably had their eyes on other aerial objects! Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 18/07/2011 Most UFO sightings reported to BUFOG are of objects seen in the air by witnesses with their feet firmly on the ground. However occasionally we receive details of sightings which have taken place from on board aeroplane flights. It makes perfect sense that if UFOs are flying around our airspace they will sometimes be observed by pilots and passengers. This report covers an interesting sighting that took place over the French Alps in May 2011. It was reported to me via a member of BUFOG (you know who you are), after their friend related the story to them. Many thanks to them for finding out the majority of the information seen within this report. Sighting Details It was 7am on the morning of 10th May 2011. The witness, who we shall call Matthew for the purpose of this report, was on board flight BHX 525. The aircraft had set out from Birmingham International airport an hour earlier, and was now flying over the French Alps. It was a very clear sunny day, with only light cloud visible. Matthew was looking out of the aircraft window at the mountains below. Suddenly he saw a strange object ascending from below off to the left of the plane. The main body of the object was cigar shaped and white in colour. At the back it had what appeared to be a low tail and short fin-like wings sticking out. There was a black smoke vapour trail coming from the back of the object. It appeared to be an unusual craft of some kind. The main fuselage of the craft seemed to be about 30 feet in length and 3-6 feet wide. It was about 500-1000 metres away from the plane, and was rising fast at an extremely rapid speed. As it got close to the plane, the UFO suddenly veered off to the left seemingly to avoid a collision. After about 20 seconds it was lost from sight due to the view from the window. Nobody else seemed to react to it or discuss it afterwards so he assumes not. It is unknown whether the craft was picked up on radar. Sighting Analysis The UFO in this sighting was clearly a controlled craft of some kind. I feel that the most likely explanation for what was seen was some kind of un-manned military drone which was being test flown in the area. The description of the object does fit in with it being one of these pilotless craft. Most military drones are white in colour, as the witness describes. They also tend to have short wings which are often positioned closer to the rear of the craft. Below are a couple of photographs of military drones for comparison: 📷 📷 The witness has drawn short wings and a taller tail right at the rear of the craft, but this could have perhaps been an optical illusion caused by the angle the craft was being viewed from. Also the fact there was a vapour trail coming from it point towards it being man-made rather than extraterrestrial. It was seemingly moving at a fast speed, but did not perform any manoeuvres which would suggest it was something more unusual. The fact that there was what appeared to be black smoke pouring from the rear of the craft suggests that it was perhaps having engine difficulties. Usually aircraft contrails are of course white in colour.
