Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 10/12/2019 Last Updated: 17/12/2019 In October 2019 I was invited to speak at East Anglia UFO Group. The talk was attended by a man named Rob who between 2017 and 2018 had a number of intriguing UFO encounters, some of which have also been witnessed by others. He had previously spoken with East Anglia UFO Group about these experiences, but with their permission I have now documented these incidents in depth. Black Disc Sighting & Photograph Rob lives on Huntingdon Road in Chatteris. During the summer months he regularly likes to hold BBQs in his back garden. On the 20th August 2017 he invited his next door neighbour Jo and her two children over for one. It was mid-afternoon and at first was grey and overcast but after a while the clouds separated and it got much clearer. Around 6.15pm a hot air balloon appeared in the sky. It got closer and closer and went right overhead. They could even see the pilots waving at them from the basket. They watched as it slowly moved away. About 15 minutes later Rob was standing at the BBQ and Jo was standing behind him. She suddenly asked him “Rob can you see that?” He looked up to see where she was pointing. Off to the East of their location at an angle of about 70 degrees was what appeared to be a flattened disc-shaped object. It was jet black in colour and was rotating constantly like a spinning coin. Rob estimates it was initially about 500 feet up. It was hard to judge exactly how big it was but it looked at least 10 feet across, possibly much bigger. The object was locked in position and completely silent. It was spinning quite rapidly on its axis. Its edges appeared un-defined almost fuzzy, it seemed impossible to focus on the object. Rob responded “Yeah.” Jo asked him “What is it?” He replied “It looks like a black disc spinning. It looks really black, like the blackest thing I’ve ever seen!” They stared at the object for a few minutes. Jo got out her i-Phone and aimed it at the sky. Rob assumed she was trying to video the UFO. She was cross as she could not seem to focus on it. Rob began to weigh up the possibilities out loud. “It’s not a bird, it’s not a plane, it’s not a helicopter. Maybe it’s an optical illusion off the hot air balloon.” At this suggestion Jo laughed and replied “No Rob!” She then dragged him around to the side of the house by his shoulder to her neighbour’s front drive and pointed out the hot air balloon, which was now some distance away from them. They then both ran back round to the garden. The object was still there. They continued to watch it with Jo’s children, barely saying a word to one another. After several minutes it suddenly began to move. It began to ascend vertically very slowly, still spinning at the same speed. Rob ran inside the house and grabbed his binoculars to get a closer look at it. Through these no further details could be observed, it was just black. Even under magnification it seemed impossible to focus on it, the edges were still fuzzy and un-defined. After several minutes the object had ascended to quite a high altitude. It vanished into some wispy cloud and was lost from sight. In total Rob estimates they had been watching it for about 15 minutes, though at the time it felt much faster to him. Jo said to Rob "I'm glad it wasn't just me that saw it!" They all then headed back inside their houses. After a while the reality of what Rob had witnessed began to sink in. He felt really excited and also burst into tears. The following day Rob sent Jo a phone text asking to see the footage she had taken of the object. However she had seemingly only been able to capture a single photograph. Even this was very un-impressive, with the object barely visible: Unfortunately the picture is too low resolution to reveal any additional detail when the object is zoomed in on: Later on he sent Jo a text again talking about the incident. She responded to him saying “It was surreal! I knew it couldn't be the hot air balloon but also knew you were looking for a logical explanation. I was glad for you to see the hot air balloon again to put things in perspective. I wish I could have zoomed in!!” Rob decided it would be a good idea to try and get in touch with the pilots of the hot air balloon to see if they had also observed the UFO. On his way home from work he observed the same balloon being re-inflated, but by the time he had got home and parked it had taken off. Rob assumed he would never be able to find out who the pilots had been. However several weeks later the same balloon turned up on the news. The online article claimed that the balloon had crash landed with the gas still on and no one in the basket (but the pilots were unharmed). Rob seaarched for the ballon online and managed to find the name of one of the pilots, then messaged him on Facebook. He informed him that they had not seen the black disc, and that the crash was un-related to what he and Jo had seen. Despite this, Rob wonders if there are other witnesses yet to come forward due to the fact that it was hovering in a clear sky for quite a period of time. Here is her account. “I'm not sure what made me look up at the point that I did...We (Me, Rob and my two boys) had seen a hot air balloon not too long prior and been enjoying that excitement, however, time had moved on and there was nothing in my peripheral vision at that time. I was stood outside Rob’s back door and next thing I knew I was looking straight at a black minstrel shaped floating thing that appeared to be rocking/slowly seesawing/hovering in mid-air. I asked Rob "Can you see that?" He was able to locate what I was talking about swiftly and then one of us asked my young lads (aged 2 and 4) whether they could see it to. Both said they could and they described it as a black dot. I'm not sure in what order this occurred but Rob was questioning what we were seeing and was almost looking to explain it logically, whereas I felt certain of what I was seeing immediately. I knew 100% it wasn't the hot air balloon we had seen earlier and I remember taking him over to my other neighbours back garden driveway to gain a different perspective. We went back to where we were stood and could still see it and it was still there. Rob dismissed his earlier hot air balloon thoughts and we stood watching some more before I thought it a good idea to try and capture a picture on my phone. It was tiny on my inadequate phone. I zoomed in as much as I could and it looked tiny in comparison to the naked eye. You couldn't see its shape/form, and to anyone else I knew it wouldn't be worth anything. Yet I was pleased to have captured an image all the same! We were a bit blown away as the next thing that happened was that it gradually rose upwards and totally disappeared amidst the clouds that had formed to the right of the houses we were amongst.” As you can see Jo’s recollection of events is extremely similar to Rob’s other than the fact that she described the object as rocking back and forth rather than continuously rotating. This is likely down to individual interpretation of the motion observed. Analysis of the photograph's metadata confirms that it is a genuine un-modified image. Metadata is a wealth of information attached to photographs taken on smartphones or digital cameras. I have a detailed knowledge of how metadata changes when images are modified in editing software. Although there is no reason to assume that the photograph is anything but genuine it is worth checking the metadata to categorically confirm this. Below are three image comparisons obtained from a detailed online metadata viewer. The first on the left is of a control image taken on an iPhone. The second one is of that same image after it has been modified in Paintshop Pro. The third image on the right is of the UFO photograph. On each page I have highlighted significant tags in yellow, and under each explain why they are significant. Basic Image Information - In original iPhone images there is no embedded color profile. This leads to a warning message appear alongside Color Encoding tag. When the image is modified a color profile will then be embedded, usually sRGB. The UFO photograph has no embedded color profile. - In modified iPhone images a thumbnail version of the image is generated, leading to a thumbnail copy appearing under Basic Image Information section. In original images this does not exist. It is not present on the UFO photograph. EXIF, Photoshop, JFIF, File & Composite - On modified iPhone images Compression appears under EXIF tags. In original images this does not exist. It is not present on the UFO photograph. - Original iPhone images have Exif Image Size under EXIF tags. When modified this tag changes to Image Size. On the UFO photograph it is named Exif Image Size. - Modified iPhone images have Resolution tag under EXIF. This is missing from the UFO photograph. - In modified iPhone images a Software tag appears under EXIF detailing the name of the software used to edit the image. This tag does not exist in the UFO photograph. - When iPhone images are modified a thumbnail version of the image is generated which leads to Thumbnail Length and Thumbnail Image EXIF tags appearing. These do not exist in the UFO photograph. - The UFO photograph has Photoshop section with IPTC Digest tag and a Current IPTC Digest tag under the File tags. This is because some iPhones incorporate IPTC related information, a standard which defines the properties, fields, and structure of the metadata to facilitate the handling and access of images. The iPhone model used to take the control image did not have this functionality hence why it is missing. It does not at all mean that the image has been modified in Photoshop. Unfortunately it is possible to alter metadata utilising either a specialist tool built for the purpose or programming code. If this were done, the most well-known and highly regarded tool which would be likely be utilised is Exif Tool. This is able to set the metadata back to how it should be prior to manipulation. However there are Rob does not believe that the object was a balloon or other inflatable as it did not drift at all while stationary in the air. He feels it is likely that an inflatable would have moved position even in low wind conditions. Also surely it would have been ascending from the off, rather than remain stationary for at least ten minutes and then suddenly begin ascending? In addition to this the spinning it was performing was constant and seemed un-naturally fast, and the un-defined edges suggests that it may have been giving off some kind of energy. I have dealt with other cases before where similar observations have been made. I would agree with Rob’s reasoning – I feel there are too many anomalies regarding the appearance and movement of the object for it to have just been a rotating balloon. Black Sphere Sighting During the night of Thursday 5th October 2017 Rob had a dream in which he was standing in a grassy field and walking around a spherical UFO which was floating just off the ground. The following morning he set off for work like usual. Rob works in Huntingdon, 12 miles away from Chatteris. To travel to and from work he drives along the A141. He left work at the usual time of 5.30pm. At around 5.50pm he was travelling North East along the A141 and had just passed the wind farm at Tick Fen. It was a bright and sunny evening. Something suddenly caught his eye in the distance ahead of him off to his left. Glancing to the North, Rob saw what appeared to be a huge black flat circle in the sky! It was to the left of a farm house visible in the distance across the fields. Just as with the spinning disc, it seemed extremely dark with no visible markings. It appeared to be at low altitude but definitely off the ground. The object was massive in size. If it was as distant as it appeared to be it must have been at least 100 feet in diameter, perhaps larger. To the right of the farmhouse Rob could see a bonfire and a tractor. In the field between the road and the farmhouse Rob also observed some people. He wonders to this day whether they could also see the object. Rob exclaimed out loud “That’s not a balloon!” He continued to drive along the road at about 60 mph. He kept glancing back and forth between the UFO and the road. He did not stop as there was no lay-by and there were other cars behind him. However he was aware that there was a lay-by on a bend in the road 1.5 miles ahead. After seeing the spinning black disc Rob had purchased a small camcorder which he had in his jacket pocket. As he drove along continuing to glance at the UFO he fully intended to park up and take a better look and get some video footage of it. However as he approached the bend he glanced again and found that the object had completely vanished from sight. Disappointingly he decided that as it had gone there was nothing left to do but continue his drive home. This is a bizarre sighting due to the massive size of the object seen. It seems odd to me that no other drivers had also observed the UFO and stopped their cars ahead of Rob on the road. Due to how large it was it would surely have been quite obvious to other people in the vicinity from all directions around it. Why were there no reports of the object in the news? Rob observed it for a period of time at different angles as he drove along the road, so it seems clear that it was actually there. Also its appearance did not change, suggesting that it was a sphere rather than a flat circular object. If it was flat then as he drove along he would have seen it get thinner and thinner. It was probably just the colour of it which made it appear flat to Rob. The way in which it suddenly vanished from sight extremely fast despite the fact it was in a clear sky over flat farm fields suggests that it could not have been a spherical hot air balloon. These tend to remain visible for long periods of time due to the slow movement speed, it is very unlikely it would have disappeared into the distance in such a short space of time. Rob informed me that as soon as he saw it, he thought about trying to film it, but there wasn't anywhere safe to stop until he reached the corner bend. He was going too fast to pull over into any of the roads on the left, and he didn't even think about stopping on the A141 as it has soft verges and was not safe to stop on the road. The driver behind him might have seen him looking at it whilst he was driving, but gave no indication that he had. The fact that Rob had a dream about a spherical UFO the night before the incident may just be coincidence. The UFO in his dream was not black in colour, if it had been this may have been more significant. It is interesting that it happened but there is no evidence at present that the dream was in any way related to what was seen. White Lights & Flashes On 7th December 2017 Rob had just arrived home when he noticed a white point of light moving in the sky. He went and stood outside the back door to observe it. It was about 6pm and a very clear evening, with the stars fully visible. The star-like light was moving but changing course as it travelled so was clearly not a satellite. It was directly overhead in the sky. Rob got his camcorder out and tried to film the light but it was too dark. Rob could see Jo in her kitchen next door. He went and knocked on the window and got her to come outside to take a look. He pointed the light out to her. As they continued to watch a second light was also seen travelling on a different trajectory. They also observed brief flashes of light to the South East. Unfortunately the lights were not picked up by the camcorder, only the audio can be heard for a period of 5 minutes and 50 seconds. Below is the transcript of the video: R: Can’t see jack shit! (Walks and knocks on Jo’s kitchen window and she comes outside) R: I’ve just saw another one… J: Eh? R: It was a moving star… J: You’re joking! R: It wasn’t a satellite ‘cause it was wiggling. J: Yeah? R: It’s up here, it was a star and I thought it’s a satellite, look here. See this one here? It’s moving look… J: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. R: If you look it keeps stopping and er moving round, see it? J: Ok. Yeah, I’m watching. R: Can you see it moving? J: Yeah. R: You see there, you see it moving? J: I saw. Yeah, I’m watching. R: You see it moving? J: Yeah! R: That’s not the space station, it’s not a plane ‘cause it’s blinking, and the way it was moving wasn’t straight. J: Ok. R: You see that? J: Yeah! R: You see that? I’m trying to film it, it looks just like a little dot but it’s not a star and it’s not a plane. J: Yeah, yeah, yeah. R: I doubt it’s a helicopter. J: Are you going to get your equipment out? R: I was trying to film it. J: You’ve got that yeah. R: I was trying to film it but it wouldn’t come out. J: Yeah. R: Cause I could see it… J: Well done, yeah. R: I could see it, it’s like a satellite, before that it looked like a satellite. J: Yeah. R: And, oh there’s another one there! J: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. R: And that is wiggling, can you see it? It’s not straight. Can you see this one here? J: Yeah, I can see it, yeah. R: Moving this way. J: It’s going quite fast isn’t it? R: It doesn’t look like it’s going straight to me. J: Oh I saw that! R: And there’s a beep then, did you see that? J: Yeah! R: Oh maybe it’s because I’m pointing. J: Oh don’t! Don’t, you’re making me flip! R: Did you see it beep, that one there, it flashed! J: Yeah. R: Yeah. It could be satellites but that one I don’t think it was a satellite. (Jo’s son appears at the door of their house) S: Hello Rob! R: Hello! Look, there’s a star moving! J: Yeah, yeah, yeah. S: That’s a shooting star! R: Umm it’s not a shooting star. J: Nooo. R: I think it could be a satellite but the one we saw a minute ago it wasn’t even moving straight. S: Wait a minute, I need to go and get my shoes on. J: Cause that flashed twice that one. R: You see that one flash? J: Yeah yeah. R: Yeah that… J: Ooh what’s that doing, it’s coming down. R: Where? J: That…it’s disappearing. That’s disappearing that. S: I just got my shoes on! (Laughing) J: I can barely see it. S: Stomp! Stomp! Stomp! J: It’s so far away. R: When I was driving home I could see a red light, and it wasn’t beeping, it was moving, it’s made maybe let’s say a helicopter, and I was walking back I could see it moving. J: That’s it. R: See you in a bit! Hello Dee Dee. I thought I’d give you a knock… J: Yeah thanks! R: I definitely wasn’t imagining it. J: Yeah. R: I thought that wasn’t a satellite, if it was a satellite it’s one that can move by itself. J: Yeah, yeah. I wouldn’t know but yeah. R: You know that erm it could be a plane, but even planes don’t move like that. J: No. R: And they don’t have beeping lights so I thought I’d give you a knock. J: Yeah thanks. R: See you saw it as well. J: Yeah, yeah. R: Not just me is it? J: Stop being silly (Talking to son) R: See you later! J: See you later. J: Don’t be silly. (Talking to son) R: Ah there we go. There’s another one! There’s another one there! You see that moving as well? I don’t think it’s a satellite as it’s not moving in a straight line. Up there, it was quite faint. I can just see it there. It's err...you can barely see it. J: I can’t see that one yeah. R: Can’t see it now. It was another one though. Yeah I mean if it was a satellite how come we just saw three? J: Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. R: And another one flashed at us. J: Flashed twice. R: Oh I only saw it flash once, it was bright wasn’t it? That could have been the flash of a satellite moving but, yeah. I don’t think satellites wiggle round, they go in a straight line don’t they? J: Yeah, yeah. J: Come in I’m cold (Talking to son) R: See you later! J: See you soon. R: See you soon! It’s Saturday in a couple of days. See you in a bit! (Jo heads back inside. Rob spots her pet cat) R: I’ve got something for you, here you go! I was going to give it to you yesterday. Here you go. (Talking to cat) R: Oh my god, another one, another one! Later in the evening Rob spoke with Jo about the incident via text message. She responded with the following: “Yes, was really interesting and I liked the flashes! The first one happened before the one you saw - I presumed you'd seen it and tbh, it hadn't registered in my brain as unusual - happened so fast it hadn't had time to filter through my thoughts properly I guess” The following day he spoke with her directly. When he went outside he found her chatting with her other neighbour, but she had not mentioned it to him so they discussed it. As the lights did not come out on camera it’s impossible to say whether they were anomalous or not. The lights moving on a straight path and the flashes observed can be explained as satellites. Sometimes these roll and catch the sunlight creating sudden bright flashes. It’s possible that the wavy course the initial light was taking was caused by some kind of atmospheric optical illusion, but I have not come across anything online which would adequately explain this effect. Therefore at least some of the sighting remains anomalous. Red Lights Intercept On the evening of 22nd February 2018 at 6.45pm Rob had returned home and was washing up in the kitchen. He suddenly heard the loud roar of a jet engine coming from outside. It seemed louder than normal so he stepped outside the back door to see if he could spot it. It was a cloudy and cold evening but was quite still. Off to the West of his location he saw a white light in the sky which he assumed was the jet. It appeared to be moving away from him. He then noticed four red lights in the sky between his location and the jet. The lights were clumped together in a rough diamond shape and completely motionless. They were a distinct dark red in shade and very clearly defined. They were at an angle of about 70 degrees and appeared to be at a higher altitude than the jet, perhaps 1000 feet. Rob got the impression that all the red lights were attached to a single object. Intrigued at what it could be he rushed inside and grabbed his camcorder and tripod. When he returned outside the lights were still present but unfortunately his camera could not pick them up. However he then noticed that the jet had changed course. He watched as it turned in the sky performing a wide arc until it was heading directly for the red lights, slowly ascending as it went! As it got to within half a mile of where they were situated they suddenly all vanished at once. The jet continued on its course, passing through where the lights had been and moved off into the distance. Rob wondered if the red lights had been attached to a craft and whether the jet had been sent to intercept this craft. He went back indoors and sent a text message to his mother telling her about what he had just witnessed. Rob has informed me that at some point during the sighting he ran back inside and got his camcorder and tripod and tried to film the lights. However he has checked his camcorder and can find no recorded footage of the event, so it looks like he either didn’t start it properly or it was accidentally deleted on a later date. It is hard to say whether Rob was correct in his assumptions. It does not appear that the lights were Chinese lanterns. They were red in colour rather than an amber orange. They maintained their position and did not drift, and they all vanished at the same moment as the jet appeared to be approaching their location. If the lights were on a helicopter it would have been possible to hear the rotor blades and there would have been no reason for them to suddenly disappear. It remains an intriguing sighting. Conclusions Rob has had some interesting UFO sightings. It is intriguing that they all occurred within the space of less than a year. This may be significant, or could just be a coincidence. The similarities between his first two sightings are also clear. Both objects were jet black in colour, although their shape appears to have been different. We will likely never know if the two incidents were related in any way. His later sightings of unusual lights in the sky are less impressive, but still have some very unusual aspects to them which are hard to explain. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 18/06/2020 Last Modified: 25/06/2020 Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Sighting Details It was the afternoon of 17th February 2014, between 1-5pm. Julia was at the office studio where she works in Risør, Norway. Her work colleague David was also present. It was a slightly overcast day but was very still. Julia suddenly noticed a strange object in the distance out of the office window. To the South South West she saw what appeared to be a brightly glowing white coloured cigar-shaped object. It seemed to be at least 2 km from her location and at high altitude, at least as high as an aeroplane would fly at. The UFO was shining brightly, possibly due to sunlight reflecting off its surface. It appeared to be much larger than a passenger aircraft. It was moving to the left across the sky on a level course at roughly the same speed as a helicopter would fly at. Julia immediately grabbed hold of her iPAD and leaned out of the window to take some photographs of the object. She managed to take 4 photographs over the space of 60-90 seconds before the object vanished behind the peak of Risør Peninsula. Strangely when looking back at the event later on she did not recall having seen the object from the office window. She remembered being outside the building and observing it. It was only when she checked the angle of the photographs taken that she realised they had been taken from the window. The Photographs The four original photographs which Julia took: Photograph of a passing aeroplane for comparison: Zoomed view of the UFO. The object is behind the tree, the way in which it appears to be in front of some of the branches is down to colour bleed out: Zoomed view of the UFO with edge find: When analyzing the metadata behind these images it is clear that they have been opened and saved in Windows Photo Viewer. Unfortunately this has changed a lot of the data. However there are still some observations worth pointing out. Below are a number of images which show a comparison of the metadata of three different photographs as displayed in an comprehensive online metadata viewer. The photo on the left is a control image taken on an iPad Mini. The middle photo is the same image after it has been intentionally modified in Paintshop Pro. On the right is Julia's first photograph. Important points have been highlighted. Below each image I will discuss these highlighted points. Basic Image Information - Original and intentionally modified iPad Mini images generally have very little Basic Image Information as you can see. The additional tags seen on the UFO photograph are going to be down to particular settings of Julia's device. - When an iPad Mini image is modified the size of it changes as the editing software has better compression than the original camera software. Obviously we don't know what size the UFO photos are supposed to be, so this cannot be used to verify authenticity. - Original iPad Mini images do not have a color profile embedded within them. Once they are manipulated a color profile will then be set, usually sRGB. The UFO photograph has no embedded color profile. EXIF 1/2 & Photoshop - The Software tag in the UFO photograph indicates it was opened and saved in Windows Photo Viewer. This is not an editing tool. - Original iPad Mini images have an EXIF Image Size tag. When the photo is modified this changes to Image Size. The UFO Photograph has Exif Image Size tag and no Image Size tag. - The Photoshop tag IPTC Digest in the original control image shows up on some iPad Mini versions. It is related to image standard information and does not mean that the image has been saved in Photoshop. This tag may have existed in the original UFO photograph but then vanished when it was opened and saved in Windows Photo Viewer. EXIF 2/2 & MakerNotes - MakerNotes tags sometimes appear on original iPad Mini images. They are related to the camera software and so if any exist they will vanish after the image is modified. The UFO photograph has these tags intact. JFIF & File - Like File Size in the Basic File Information, File Size in the File tags also reduces in the same way. Composite & ICC Profile - Composite tags are copies of other existing tags for convenience. Because the UFO photograph has lots of additional EXIF tags it will therefore also have lots of Composite tags. This does not suggest modification. - ICC Profile tags are related to editing software and so do not appear on original iPad Mini photographs. There are none of these tags on the UFO photograph. Although some of the metadata taga are missing because it was saved in Windows Photo Viewer, there are enough other changes to suggest that the UFO photo has not been manipulated in any way. It is possible to purposely modify metadata. The most straightforward and logical way to do this would be to use a specially built tool. The most widely used and detailed tool avaialble for this is known as Exif Tool. While it is possible to modify most of the tags using this, there are particular tags which cannot be changed. Once the Exif Image Size tag changes to Image Size, it cannot be changed back again. While it may be possible with raw code, I have not had this confirmed by anyone, and it stands to reason that if Exif Tool cannot do this then the same issue will occur with code. I believe the metadata behind the UFO photographs proves beyond reasonable doubt that they have not been manipulated in any way. Sighting Analysis The most logical mundane explanation is that the object in the photographs was an aeroplane reflecting the sunlight making it appear brighter and larger than usual. That said, the photograph of the aeroplane Julia sent me for comparison was taken from the same location in the same lighting conditions, and the differences are very easy to see. Julia also says that she has often observed planes from the window and they have never appeared like the photographed object. Also the sound of their engines has been audible, whereas the UFO made no sound at all. That said, it may be that any noise was lost due to how far away the object was. It is clear that the object was not any kind of blimp or balloon, and it was moving too slowly to be a daytime meteorite. It is unlikely that the fact the witness initially felt she had been outside when she observed the object, and later realized she had actually been in her office, has anything to do with the UFO. This was probably just down to how excited the witness was at the time of the incident, what she was looking at became of paramount importance. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2020

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 27/04/2014 Introduction In March 2014 I gave a talk in Birmingham about UFOs and contact. One of the ladies named Sandra who came to see my lecture found what I had to say very interesting indeed, and could relate to certain things I covered. She decided to get in touch with me afterwards via E-Mail to inform me about what had happened to her. This report covers her various experiences in depth. Metallic Probe When she was young Sandra used to live with her grandparents, parents and sister on Belchers Lane in Bordersley Green, Birmingham. Numerous times in her childhood Sandra was visited during the night by a metallic oval-shaped object which hovered outside the room where she, her sister and parents slept. The first time this occurred she was either 4 or 5 years old. She thinks it was around 9 o’clock. Her and her sister had gone to bed but her parents were still up. Her sister was afraid of the dark, so used to leave the curtains open, allowing some light into the room from the nearby streetlight outside. She glanced over at the bedroom window and noticed a strange object. Through the glass she could see a metallic grey coloured oval-shaped device hovering in the air. It looked no bigger than 10 inches across. It appeared to be split into two halves, the lower half was a darker shade of grey. Across the middle of the object was a central band with a row of 5-6 dark round holes. These reminded her of eyes and she felt it was watching her. Witness drawing of the oval-shaped device: The object was motionless in the air. Sandra was un-nerved by it but not terrified. She felt that she observed it for about 5 minutes. During this time she lay very still and quiet as she thought if she called out for her sister or parents it would hear her. She closed her eyes and waited hoping it would go away. After a short while she felt that it had gone away. She opened her eyes and sure enough it was no longer there outside the window. She kept the incident to herself and did not tell her family about it. After the incident Sandra asked her parents to close the curtains at night, although sometimes her father would forget. One night about a year later she was again lying down in bed. She looked over at the window. Her father had forgotten to close the curtains on this occasion. Outside she once again saw the object. It was almost identical to before, but this time appeared to have a short aerial of some kind sticking out of the upper left side of it. She watched the object make a small turn to the left. Oval-shaped device with aerial: Sandra thought to herself “Oh no, not again!” She again felt that she had to remain very still and if she did it would not notice her. She tightly shut her eyes not daring to look at it any longer. After a while of lying there she slightly opened her eyes again and looked. The object had departed. In the following years she thinks she saw the object on at least another couple of occasions. The last time she saw it was when she was 9-10 years old. By now she was now living in a house on Templefield Street in Small Heath. It again took place when she was lying in bed. However this time when she saw it she was less frightened and more curious of it. The object was hovering at window height just outside. It seemed to telepathically tell her to keep still. She remembers lying as still as possible but rather than being frightened she felt strangely calm about the situation. She just remembers closing her eyes and waiting. Firstly it was a real and solid, not just her imagination or a recurring dream. And secondly she is convinced that it was some kind of observational device which was watching her. Humming Sound Ever since her mid-20s Sandra has occasionally heard a low humming sound which seems to completely fill her surroundings. Over the years she has heard it at several different locations, so is certain that it is not down to nearby electrical equipment. She believes she has heard the noise about 10-15 times so far. The length of time it continues for varies but sometimes it has continued for over an hour. On the times she has actually remained in the location and heard the sound stop it has done so quite abruptly. When it has occurred she has tried moving to different places and even asked other family members if they can also hear it, and they have informed her that they cannot. Due to the fact that it has occurred so often, cannot be heard by others and does not seem to be directly related to other unusual phenomena it is likely that the noises have a medical explanation rather than being related to contact. Glowing UFO Sighting At around 8.15pm in early August 2012 Sandra was on her way home from work on Church Road, Gorleston in Great Yarmouth. It was a warm sunny evening and still light in the sky due to the time of year. As she approached the junction with Shrublands Way she suddenly felt compelled to look up into the sky. When she did she saw a glowing white light with a short trail fly overhead and away into the distance in the direction of Crab Lane. It looked similar to a shooting star, but was odd because it was still daylight in the sky. Witness drawing of the UFO: The object was moving so fast that it was lost from sight within 2-3 seconds. She continued her walk home and later on informed her sons about what she had seen. Conclusion Some of Sandra’s experiences could of course have had mundane explanations. The UFO sighting that she had in 2012 could have easily been a daylight meteorite, and I believe this is most likely what it was. However the metallic “probe” sightings she had through her childhood are much harder to explain. They do not appear to have just been down to a recurring nightmare, and the fact that Sandra saw the object at numerous addresses proves that it could not have been down to an odd reflection in the window of the bedroom. Could it have been some kind of radio controlled model? On the second occasion, Sandra did see what appeared to be an aerial of some kind sticking out of one side of the object at a diagonal angle. But if it was a model then why did Sandra see it at two different addresses in different areas of Birmingham? I find it extremely unlikely that her family were doing it on purpose as a repeated prank on her from an early age. Also surely some means of propulsion would have been visible, such as a rotor blade on the top. While the military have recently developed drones which are spherical in shape and have the rotor blades hidden within them, don’t forget that these incidents happened quite a number of years ago when Sandra was young. The small size of the object suggests that it was indeed an observational device of some kind, perhaps similar to the silver and black spheres which are often reported by people. I feel this is enough cause to suspect that Sandra may have experienced contact, hence why this report has been placed under the Contactee Cases section of the site. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2014

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: George Gregg Release Date: 08/07/2014 Last Updated: 24/06/2020 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used There were two sightings witnessed by two people, Ann and Frank. The first sighting occured around Enville, which is a small village in Staffordshire on the A458 between Stourbridge and Bridgenorth. The second sighting occured at a lay-by on the A458 between the two villages, Four Ashes and Six Ashes further on towards Bridgenorth. There was a 10-15 minute time difference between the sightings. Sighting One: Enville Cricket & Football Club, 7.30-7.40pm Two witnesses one male the other female were conversing at the back of the pavilion / clubhouse of Enville Cricket & Football Club, Enville, Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY7 5HA . Map indicating the location of Enville Cricket & Football Club: Photograph of the clubhouse: They noticed a bright light in the field at the back of the pavilion. The field apparently is used for horses. They were perplexed by the light and debated about its nature. They considered that it may be a helicopter looking for someone lost. The light was like a bright light, like a spotlight. There was no noise. It was above the tree line. Photograph of the pavilion: They had no idea what it was. However the pair decided there was little to be done so they decided to leave and drive along the A458 towards Bridgenorth. Sighting Two: Lay-by A458 to Bridgenorth, 7.45pm About 4-5 minutes up the road, about 2-3 miles from Enville, (7.45pm) they noticed a bright light following them on the other side of the hedge. Initially they wondered if it was a comet, but it had no tail. They pulled their car in to a large lay-by (Approx WV15 6EQ), on the left, nearby a small village called Six Ashes. About half a mile further away there is an Italian restaurant on the crossroads called the Six Ashes Inn. They are looking across into a field, with the road between them and the hedge. It’s a dark but clear night and they see a large orange light (no flash) approaching them over the field on their left. The object as it came near seemed to split into three lights (or the three lights looked like one because of the distance it was away). Then it became apparent the three lights were near the corners of a black triangle (approximately equilateral). The black part of the triangle was blacker than the sky. It pulled to a halt about 150 yards away. It was completely noiseless. It was about the size of a medium sized dinner plate held at arm’s length. The craft then changed direction towards the right, but keeping its triangular base facing the witnesses. Witness drawing of the triangular UFO with notes: It drifted slowly across almost at walking pace and then after reaching their extreme right, roughly past the gate in the hedge, it shot off toward Wordsley and in the space of five seconds had vanished over the horizon. During this time the witnesses were aware that no traffic had passed them despite it being normally a very busy road. Not long after they saw the UFO, a plane flew over the spot that the triangle shaped object had been hovering. However the plane was higher. It appeared to be an old plane, like a Spitfire, it seemed like it had curved wingtips and a flashing light on its tail. Neither witness was a believer in UFOs before this incident but felt like the phenomena was like something out of a movie. It seemed unreal. Air Traffic Control E-Mail Ann and Frank were perplexed by their sighting and the next day they wrote an email to the air traffic controller at Halfpenny Green Airport. They replied saying that “the airport had been open for flying on the 11th Feb with fixed wing aircraft flying locally and in the circuit until 8.00pm. The flashing lights, it was suggested, could have been one of their aircraft. The lights which aircraft are required to display are set in law (The Air Navigation Order). Lights in a triangular arrangement would not be normal.” The air traffic controller advised them to contact the British UFO Research Association (BUFORA). The two witnesses found that their thoughts about the triangular UFO seemed to drift into the back of their minds until a growing compulsion to report it to someone came over them. It was this that led to them attending one of BUFOG’s meetings, where they initially informed me of the incident. Sighting Analysis Ann and Frank, professional people in their late thirties, appeared to me to be of average intelligence, rational and of an even temperament. The motive for making up the story is highly improbable especially as they provided documentary evidence i.e. E-mail exchange with the air traffic controller. The triangular craft does not seem to be a kite, balloon or a Chinese lantern. The likelihood of the witnesses being the victim of a hoax is also unlikely as the experience occurred in a remote location. A hoaxer would get poor traction for a hoax in this location. Also the phenomena took place over 2-3 miles. This would be difficult to set up as a hoax. The other possibility is that this areal phenomenon was a military vehicle or, as the witness wondered, a helicopter. I investigated the possibility of a helicopter and near Halfpenny Green Airport I found a factory that manufactures helicopters. Parked outside was a black helicopter. Photograph of the helicopter at the factory: However a helicopter, which may explain the initial sighting of a light above the trees in Enville, certainly does not explain the second part of the sighting. Also I’m unaware of a military aircraft that can move from walking pace to vanishing over the horizon in 5 seconds without leaving at least a sonic boom. Conclusion:  This object is both real and an unknown. However it fits with many other sightings of triangular structured craft of a similar nature. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Last Updated: 24/06/2020 Sighting Details On the evening of 4th May 2014 Camilla was working in her flat on Barrier Point Road, central London. At 8.35pm she got up from her desk to stretch her legs and looked out of the window which overlooks Barrier Point Park. It was a dry and relatively clear evening with only sparse clouds. Due to the time of year the sun was just setting, but it was not fully dark and the stars were not yet visible in the sky. Almost immediately her attention was suddenly drawn to three lights in the sky to the North East-East. She initially thought the lights were over the park, but soon realized they were further away, possibly over City Airport. Two of the lights were a crimson/magenta colour and were extremely bright. The third light was green in colour. At least one of the lights was pulsating, although Camilla cannot recall exactly which. The three lights were in a triangular formation with one another. They appeared to be attached to a single object, but were too distant to make out anything but the lights. Initially they were stationary, but soon began making short but extremely rapid manoeuvres in the sky, both left and right, and up and down. When they started making these movements Camilla realized that the lights could not be from any normal aircraft or helicopter. The object would travel for at least a couple of hundred metres before stopping dead in the sky. At first it appeared to be surveying something, perhaps the airport, as this is what it seemed to be over. It then began to move for longer distances of around 500 metres, using the same darting manoeuvres, and began to move away from the airport area heading further to the North East. Camilla was transfixed by the object, but after a minute decided to grab her Sony Cybershot camera and try to get a photograph of it. As she looked back up and raised the camera she realized that the lights now appeared to be descending and were close to or beyond the electricity tower near to Stansfeld Road. As she removed the camera from her eye and looked back out of the window she found that the lights had vanished. Unfortunately I no longer possess the original photograph sent by the witness, so metadata analysis is not possible. I would usually use this to confirm authenticity of the image. Camilla continued to look out of the window for several minutes in the hope that the lights would reappear. When they did not she decided to stop watching and downloaded the photograph from her camera onto her computer. She had a look on the internet but could not find any other reports of the object she had seen, although did find some other videos showing unexplained green and red lights. Sighting Analysis This is a hard sighting to explain away as something mundane. Due to the fact that the lights were initially seen close to City Airport, some may dismiss this sighting putting it down to a distant aircraft. However I do not believe this to be the case. The lights are not the right colour for normal navigation lights. Aircraft lights are generally a standard bright red colour, yet two of the three lights seen were crimson/magenta in colouration, which can be seen on the photograph. Camilla also wished to highlight that City Airport is closed on Saturday evening, and that the lights seemed far too low in the sky to be an aircraft. The object appeared to be silent, Camilla says that even distant aircraft make noise and she feels she would have been able to hear it. Due to the way in which the object was stopping for periods of time it cannot have been an aeroplane. And the darting movements it was performing sound much too fast to have been a helicopter, either civilian or military. They were also much too fast to be a lit inflatable or radio controlled model. The distance of the object, evident from the photograph, means it must have been quite sizeable. Camilla estimates it was 10-15 metres across but this was hard to judge accurately.The shape of the object was not verified, but due to the positioning of the lights it could possibly have been triangular. It is a shame that Camilla did not get video footage of the lights performing the impressive manoeuvres, something she herself admits. She says that she was so intrigued the lights that it was only after about a minute that she decided to try and get a quick shot of the object. Luckily she managed to capture it in time before it vanished, so at least we have a still shot of it. Obviously this photograph would be very easy to mock up on a computer paint program, but having spoken with Camilla about the sighting I believe she is being genuine about what she saw. This appears to be a real sighting, and the astounding manoeuvres observed suggest an an advanced craft under intelligent control. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2014

Birmingham UFO Group Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 23/06/2014 Sighting Details Leigh is a gardener from Wythall, a village South of Birmingham. On the morning of 8th June he was out gardening at a property close to where Heath Rise meets Wychelm Farm Road. It was a bright sunny day with only a small amount of cloud in the sky. A moderate breeze was blowing. The time was approximately 10.25am. Aerial map showing the sighting location: Leigh had just set up his equipment and begun cutting a hedge. He glanced up and suddenly noticed an object appear from around the side of the neighbouring house. The object was completely spherical and slightly larger than a basketball. It was dark green in colour and was not reflective or metallic in appearance. There were no markings or protrusions on the object at all. The UFO appeared to be about 50 feet away from his location and was just above the rooftops, approximately 40 feet off the ground. Leigh was initially viewing it at an angle of 45 degrees. The sphere was moving directly to the North on a level and straight path. Initially it was moving at around 25mph. Leigh watched the object for about 3-5 seconds, after which it began to gradually increase in speed until it was travelling at around 45 mph. It was soon lost from sight behind other nearby housing. Leigh did not have a camera on him at the time, his mobile phone is a basic one without a camera, and he says even if it did have one he would not have had time to get it out and film the UFO. Sighing Analysis The most obvious question to ask regarding this sighting is “Was it a balloon?” The relatively small size, rounded shape, unusual colour and lack of any clearly intelligent manoeuvres all point towards this as a possible explanation. The reasons why the witness himself feels it was not a balloon are as follows: - The object was completely spherical, most ordinary balloons are more tear drop or light bulb shaped. - Balloons often have either wording on or string attached to them, this had neither. - It’s movement path was far too linear, balloons usually drift as they float on air streams and ascend or descend. However to counteract these arguments it is possible to purchase completely round balloons without wording on, and it is possible that it was caught on a particularly strong air current making it drift horizontally on a straight course. Also the witness did only observe it for around 10 seconds at most, perhaps if the sighting had been longer he would have noticed the object changing course. Let’s assume for a moment that the object was not a balloon. If so what else could it have been? It is possible that the object was not an inflatable but was a spherical military drone. While these are not widely used, it is still a valid possibility. Also this could explain the dark green colour, a colour often used with military hardware. However if it was a drone it is unlikely it would have been silent running, and the witness is quite certain the object he saw was making no sound at all.  Also you would have to question exactly why the military would be flying a drone in a residential area of Wythall in broad daylight. If it was not a balloon or a military drone, there is a chance that it was extra-terrestrial in origin. Un-manned spheres are regularly reported around the world, many of which have been seen to perform incredible manoeuvres similar to other larger craft types. It is widely believed that they are used for monitoring or observational purposes. My personal view is that it was most likely a balloon of some kind, however the idea that it was an ET sphere cannot be ruled out. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2014

We have had in my area of town, many sightings of ufos, orbs, lights for some time. There have been news reports of them too, investigations, yet it has turned up with nothing. Last night, under the cover of darkness, myself and a number of other investigators from the birmingham ufo group (we are the only active uk group that deals with abductees and ufos etc) just do a google search for BUFOG (the person in charge is dave my next door neighbour)! We saw a light flashing, and it got nearer and nearer, as it approached the ground started to shake, i was scared, literally scared i had never felt like this before. Suddenly it started to descend. We ran away, and kept on running for a mile, all the time excpecting it to be behind or above us, but when we got back to the house it was gone. We decided that this could be the biggest story in the history of mankind, and decided to get our video cameras, and to go back out to film it. I brought with my a rocket grenade launcher just in case (i have one still from my time in the army), and yes its licenced, as i, as a high ranking officer am still called up to the army from time to time, so i have not officially retired yet. Anyway, we went back out, and headed back for the spot we had been in earlier, we didnt need to wait long. Almost at once above us, the craft appeared again, it was huge about the size of a large house. It had portholes and a dome on top. Without a second thought i fired the launcher. It hit it, but had no effect at all. I remembered fellow members of the ufo group saying that whilst they are in the air they have a magnetic distortion field around them which protects them. I realised i would have to strike when they landed, and so i did. I waited for it to hover to the ground and as it was about to touch down, i fired... With a huge explosion, that was heard for miles (my wife rung me up from work at the farm 2 miles ago to ask if everything was okay as she heard the blast), the craft came down, and with a smash, hit the group at a 90 degree angle. There it came to rest. No entities came out, nothing. We panicked and run back to the house. A few hours later were mustered up the courage to come back, and the flames/smoke had gone out, and the ufo was still in the same position at a 90 degree angle. The area it is in, is a very rarely used footpath, as the entrance to it is covered in trees, so only the locals whove lived there for many years know about it. We are not sure what to do now, do we ring for help, do we take the risk and try open the portholes? what do we do. I would like to ask for advice, and really want to thank you for reading this. He said that the thing was holding a small silver type pistol with red lights on it, he said that he could not believe his eyes and felt like he was in a dream. He claims that suddenly he was paralysed and could not move an inch or speak. He says that the creature spoke to him at this point telepathically, he claims it said- I show myself to you today, just to prove that we do exist, beware the one you see. He says that the creature then started to jog off and he was no longer frozen, he says he shouted-stop, and gave chase. At this point the thing turned and fired his pistol at the officer, he says that he felt a strong energy beam and it was all around, he claims he stumbled back and then suddenly woke up in his patrol car. He says he checked the time and it was 11-12 am, which he says was about right. He says he then spent 2 hours searching the wood for the thing but found nothing or no trace. He says that a few days later he spoke to someone about his encounter in the force, but was basically ridiculed and told not to report it and forget it and put it down to stress, as he would have a dogs life if he went public. He was off sick for about 2 months and was actually treated for depression and anxiety and took meds, he says he felt ill. mentally ill, but said he just simply recovered 2 moths later. He claims that the photo which I send, turned up miraculously on his phone, he only noticed it 3 days later when going through his phone. My response: The entity photo is quite clearly some sort of statue that has been blurred by camera shake. It looks female (or could be a Buddha), has the right breast area exposed, and the rest of the body covered by some sort of clothing. It is clear that there is camera shake due to the stretched points of light all over the object. On Thursday morning (03-03-2011) I was walking through Cannon Hill Park, Russell Road, Moseley, Birmingham, in the West Midlands where I live. I was on my way to an appointment, the weather was very sunny but chilly, the time was 9-30 am. I was just walking minding my own business when I noticed a very peculiar looking creature lurking near some bushes. The thing was roughly 20 meters away and was just lurking around very close to some bushes, it looked nervous and frightened and worried and was looking around as though it didn't know what to do. I could not believe what I was seeing, I was not scared or frightened, my heart was beating a bit fast and I felt a bit shaky, but more than anything I could just not believe what I was seeing, I looked around to see if anyone else was around but there was no one around. I stood and looked at the thing for roughly 10-15 seconds before I just thought I have to get a photo of this. I got my mobile phone from my pocket and quickly went into the camera, I pointed the camera at the creature and zoomed in fully, I took a shot and then had to wait for 2-3 seconds as the image processed itself and saved itself, I then pressed back and went to take another shot. By this time the creature had turned and was slowly walking off, I took a second shot and again I had to wait 2-3 seconds again, I pressed back and went to take a 3rd photo, but when I looked up the creature was no where to be seen. I stood there glued to the spot for about 1 minute feeling very uneasy about what I had just seen, I remember clearly thinking over and over again I just cant believe what I have just seen. I thought about heading towards the bushes to look and see if I could see the thing, but something told me not to go any where near there, sort of like a voice or gut feeling saying don't go over there, just get away from here. So that is what I did, I just carried on walking through the park on my way. I saw an elderly couple a few minutes after I saw the creature and actually stopped them and told them what had just happened, I even showed them the photos on my phone, they just looked at me like I was crazy and said nothing and just walked off sort of laughing at me in disbelief. The actual creature itself was roughly 4 feet in height, covered in what looked like thick black and grey fur, it had a bald-ish head which looked like a grey colour and there was a lump sticking out across and over the creatures eyes, it had what looked like very pointy ears, I could clearly see a nose and mouth, and the creature had very bright glowing red lights coming from it's eyes which seemed to grow and diminish in size, I could see no neck, it seemed to have its head tucked in its shoulders. I know what I saw sounds ridiculous and I would not believe it myself if I heard the story, but I don't care, I know what I saw and I have photographic evidence, this is not the sort of thing you should see walking through a park in broad daylight. The photos make the creature look greenish, the colour of the thing was actually black and grey, I suspect this is probably just a combination of sunlight reflecting the green grass and surrounding plants onto the creature itself, I'm guessing that distance is probably a factor and also the zoom was locked on full, and the photo is only taken on a cheap mobile phone, I wish I would have had a movie camera with me to show the actual thing walking, it was incredible to witness. If people want to ridicule me, that's OK with me, I know what I saw, it was not something from this planet, I am convinced that what I saw was an Alien creature, what other explanation is there? Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 13/08/2015 Last Updated: 23/06/2020 For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used for some witnesses Investigation Overview I first heard from David Hunt on 6th June 2014 via E-Mail. He had watched my UFO Truth Magazine conference on Youtube and was impressed by it enough to get in touch with me directly. He wanted to find a way to get the information of his experiences out to the public in order to support other people going through similar situations. After briefly talking with him on the phone I soon determined that this was much too large a case to work on remotely. On the 15th June I travelled down to Oxfordshire to meet him at his home in Bicester. We had an initial chat and I briefly met his wife "Janet" and daughters Sacha and Ellie. Soon after my arrival, David’s friend Adam showed up. We then spent the day heading out to various locations where incidents had taken place over the years. I extensively interviewed both David and Adam on these experiences, and took many photographs. In late afternoon we met up with their friend “Howard”, who has also had many contact experiences. In the months following my visit, I spoke with David and his various friends on many occasions via phone, E-Mail and Facebook messenger, and received a recorded audio testimony from his 11 year old daughter Ellie. David and several of his close friends have formed an acoustic rock band named Cosmosis. Their music appears to have been directly influenced by the ETs. This will be discussed later in the report.  In September 2014 they came to Birmingham UFO Group to take part in my talk on UFOs & The Music Industry. They played some live tracks and a video to their song “Hodrien”, named after myself due to my work on their case. On 2nd May 2015 I traveled back down to Bicester to finalize details for the report and watch Cosmosis perform two gigs. I was also able to interview friends Marcus and Luke during my visit. In June 2015 I spoke alongside David at BUFOG about his experiences. I am due to speak alongside him again at UFO Truth Magazine conference in September, and at BUFOG a second time in October. This report covers the experiences which have directly involved David and his family. Many of David’s friends have also had their own experiences while David has not been present, and some even appear to be contactees themselves. In order to keep the size of the report down these experiences have been move to a separate report, the link for which can be found at the end of this report. David and myself during my investigation (May 2015): CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES The Vanishing Man David claims that his parents Derek and Marian only began to have experiences after he had been born, he cannot recall them ever mentioning anything unusual taking place before this time. This may suggest that they only occurred as a result of his presence in their lives. In October 1976 when David was only 1 month old, Derek and Marian owned a newsagents in Balham, central London, and lived above it. In the early hours of the morning they heard noises coming from downstairs. Obviously they assumed it was a burglar. Derek crept down the stairs to see what was going on. In the middle of the shop was a man holding and staring at a can of beans. The man was slender in build and of average height. Upon noticing Derek he ran towards the back of the shop and leapt over the counter. Derek gave chase and caught a glimpse of the man attempting to hide in a cupboard. He ran towards the cupboard, and as he grabbed the door to try and open it, it slammed shut forcefully, so strongly that he let go. Derek was un-nerved by this, so he decided to lean up against the door and keep the man locked inside. He called out for Marian to help and she phoned the police. When they turned up Marian led them through to where his father was still leaning up against the cupboard. They asked him to walk away from the cupboard door, but when they opened it they found it was empty! The police did not seem to be angry or treat Derek like he was mad, they just said “It’s ok, it happens.” Derek was of course extremely confused as to what had taken place. There was nowhere for the man to have escaped to, and he had actually seen him enter the cupboard. Once the police had gone he found the can of beans still lying on the floor of the shop, so knew that it had really occurred. David believes that the man his father saw was a humanoid ET being, although another explanation worth considering is that the man was some kind of ghostly apparition. However the fact that he was staring at the can like he had never seen one before, and the fact he was able to forcefully shut the cupboard tends to suggest he was physically there rather than an apparition. Even though this experience did not involve David directly, he feels it was probably related to his other contact experiences. Unfortunately I am not able to speak to Derek or Marian about this incident. According to David they are closed to the unusual things which have happened to them, and would not wish to discuss them openly with me. However David says that he may be able to get a written statement off his father in due course. If so it will be added to this report. Play Group Disappearance From 3 months old, David lived with his grandparents on Munster Road in Fulham, London. Aerial map of Munster Road: In 1979 when he was 3 years old his grandmother used to regularly take him to a play group organised at a local hall. One day while he was at the group he needed to go to the toilet. The group leader walked with him, pointed out the door then went back into the hall. When David entered the bathroom he remembers finding three men standing there. They were all quite tall and were wearing light blue coloured jumpsuits. He recalls that one of them had blond shoulder length hair. The other two had darker hair. As he looked at them, the blond haired being turned round and stepped towards him. This was the last thing he recalls happening. After finding that he had vanished without trace, the group leader called his grandparents, and a thorough search of the hall began. It was a complete mystery how he could have disappeared, as the hall was surrounded in 12 foot high fences, so there was no way he could have left the area. After not being able to find him they got in touch with the police. David’s next recollection was of being outside and walking along a road. A man soon discovered him and after finding he was there on his own took him to a nearby police station. It was two hours since he had disappeared from the play group. Because of the search which was already well underway, it wasn’t long before he was reunited with his grandparents. David does not remember telling anyone about the men he had seen in the bathroom, he was only young and probably didn’t seem relevant to him at the time. The road David was discovered on was Long Lane in Southwalk. This is approximately 6 miles away and on the other side of the River Thames. Even though David was gone for 2 hours it is inconceivable that at 3 years old he would have been able to walk this distance without being spotted by someone. Aerial map showing Fulham (A), the rough location of the nursery, and Long Lane (B) where David was found: When he was older David would come to understand that the men he encountered were in fact humanoid ETs commonly referred to as Nordics. At 27 years of age he had a daytime flashback to an abduction experience. In this memory he recalled sitting with a number of Nordics and speaking telepathically with them. He did not ask them about the incident at the playgroup specifically, but they suddenly brought up it up in conversation. They informed him that what had happened was accidental - he had been taken but had then been put back at the wrong location. He believes that they told him this to highlight the fact that they are fallible and capable of making mistakes, although they did not specify this. The Garden Man By 1979 David’s parents and sister Tracy (who is five years older than him) had moved to a council house on Richmond Avenue in Hillingdon, London. David continued to live with his grandparents but would regularly go to stay with them for extended periods. Aerial map of Richmond Avenue: David recalls many incidents over the next three years where he would converse with a man at the end of the back garden of his parents house. The garden was very long, and at the end of it were some swings and a see-saw. David would spend a lot of his time playing there. Sometimes when he was sitting on the swings a man would step out from the bushes and stand next to him. David never looked directly at him he would just look towards the house. Despite not looking at him directly, David still has a very good impression of what he looked like. He believes the man was white with dark coloured hair. He was slender in build, and wore a smart dark-coloured knee length raincoat and brimmed hat. The man would engage in long conversations with David. Unfortunately he cannot remember what they talked about during these discussions. After conversing for a while the man would simply step away and back into the bushes. David was never really scared of the man, he was more intrigued by him. David thinks this happened about thirty times over the three year period. He is not sure whether these experiences stopped because the man ceased visiting him, or because he simply stopped playing down the bottom of the garden, and would go out to play instead. David believes that the man was an humanoid ET being, and that when they conversed they would do so telepathically. He says that the garden was fenced in and that the bushes were very overgrown. There would have been no way for a man to get into the garden, nor be physically standing inside the bushes. David feels certain that the man was not a squatter living down the end of the garden. The man was never observed by his parents. Despite David mentioning him to them they never seemed worried, which suggests that they believed David was imagining him. Many years later David spoke with his mother about these incidents. She could still recall him talking about the man down the garden. Could the man really have been imagined? It seems to have occurred on too many occasions for this to be the case. This was not a case of sporadic incidents, it seemed to be repeated regularly over an extended period of time.  As David mentioned the garden had tall fences all around, and the bushes were too dense for someone to have been living in them. While it is not out of the question that the man could have found a way to climb over the fence, would he have really done so on that many occasions without being spotted by anyone? Taking these aspects into consideration, the notion that the man was an ET being cannot be put out of the question. Nothing about the man's appearance suggests he was alien. However there are many cases of ETs masking their true appearance, commonly referred to as a "screen memory". It is certainly possible that this is what took place with these incidents. Soldiers By the time he was six David no longer encountered the man at the end of the garden. However something else entirely different began to occur. Over the next few years David recalls numerous occasions where American soldiers would come out of the bedroom wall during the night and stand around his bed staring right at him. This would only ever occur at his parent’s house in Hillingdon, never at his grandparents in Fulham. During these experiences he would be able to move freely, but would be too scared to do anything so would just lie there. The soldiers wore plain green khaki-coloured uniforms. The shape of the helmets they were wearing was what allowed him to identify them as American. They would never be holding any guns, and would just line up around the bed and stand there with their hands at their sides. He says that he never shouted out for his parents when this occurred due to how frightened he was. He would just lie there without saying a word. Every time he would then simply black out, and his next recollection would be waking up in the morning. He recalls speaking with his parents about these experiences, but says that he was too young to know whether they believed him or not. He thinks they probably just put down the experiences to bad dreams. There are many aspects of these experiences which suggest that David was experiencing visitations, and perhaps un-recollected abductions. During contact experiences of this nature the beings will often use a screen memory to hide their true appearance. This is especially prevalent when the contactee is quite young. They often seem to take on the appearance of something familiar to the individual. David confirmed to me that as a child he had an interest in the armed forces. It is possible that these experiences were visitations by ETs who were taking the form of American soldiers. This was perhaps an attempt to reduce the level of fear, although David found the soldiers terrifying. Other aspects which fit in with other contact experiences are the way in which the soldiers entered the room from a solid wall, then came and stood around the bed. I have dealt with numerous other cases where the beings have stepped out from walls. Also the way in which he involuntarily blacked out during these experiences is commonly reported. It is possible that these visitations led on to abduction experiences, although David has no recollection of anything at present. However there are other possibilities for what took place. There are a number of sleep paralysis incidents on record where the individual has seen soldiers appear in the room and gather around them in much the same way that David has described. Even though David feels that he could move freely during these experiences, could they have been hallucinations caused by hpnogogia? Another possibility is that these incidents were in fact military abductions (MILABs). There have been many experiences reported by contactees where military personnel have been observed working directly alongside ET beings. This is more commonly reported in America, and, as David pointed out, the soldiers seemed to be wearing American uniforms. While I feel that these experiences most likely point towards ET visitations, these other explanations are also worth considering. The Shadow Being The soldiers were not the only thing that David remembers seeing in his room during his childhood. When he was 7 years old he remembers waking up during the night to see a tall dark figure pacing around the room. The figure appeared completely black all over like a silhouette. It was about 7 feet tall and appeared to be covered in hair, almost like a man wearing a gorilla suit. It had broad shoulders and looked very powerful. As soon as David looked at the figure it stopped, and turned around to face him. At this point David realized that this being had no facial features, it was just black. Although the bedroom door was closed there was still enough light in the room to see detail on objects, yet the figure was unnaturally dark. David was understandably frightened, but also excited about what may happen next. The being then spoke to David telepathically. In his mind he got a question – “Do you want to come with me?” David responded by saying “No!” out loud. The figure asked “Why not?” He replied “Because I’m scared.” In an insistent tone the black figure simply said to him “You will come.” It then walked over to the window, sat up on the ledge and then went out through it and was lost from sight. David is certain that the window was closed, so the figure had passed directly through the glass. As will see later on in this report, this was not the only time that David witnessed this terrifying being. Park UFO Landing When David was 7 or 8 years old and at primary school he and his friend Matthew would often go and play at a park off Windsor Avenue in Hillingdon. They nicknamed it the “Elephant Park” due to the big elephant-shaped climbing frame which was there. Aerial map of the park which still exists today: One weekend during the school holidays they were down the park on their own and sitting on the swings.  Looking up into the sky David suddenly noticed a very peculiar object approaching from their left over the rooftops. It looked like a long silver coloured cylinder split into sections. At one end were what appeared to be lots of circular dishes and aerials similar to the British Telecom tower.  It was about 30 feet long and around 10 feet across. The object was spinning as it approached the park. It then began to descend and landed on the grass about 100-150 feet away from them. David says that it didn’t quite touch the ground, it hovered a short distance above it. The men were white and were wearing pilot uniforms including brown leather flight jackets and sunglasses. They were smiling at them. One of the men then motioned his hand beckoning them over. The boys approached the two men. The man nearest to them asked them if they wanted to go for a ride. David wasn’t bothered by the men or their strange craft at all, and was happy to go along with them. However Matthew appeared really frightened and didn’t want to go. Upon realising this David decided to stay too. The men seemed fine with their decision. They told them to stand back. They then walked back onto the strange cylindrical object and watched it take off. It started to rotate on its axis then lifted off and flew away out of sight. The boys were quite confused by what had just happened. In the days following the incident Matthew seemed colder with David and in the end stopped speaking with him all together. It was clear that he was unsettled by what had happened, and almost seem to blame him. Soon afterwards David moved away from the area so no longer saw Matthew. Years later when he was around 14 years old, David happened to meet up with Matthew again. They decided to head down to the same park where the incident had taken place. This jogged their memories of what had happened and they began to discuss it. David asked Matthew “What happened that day? Why did you blame me?” Matthew responded saying “Dave why the fuck would you want to go with those guys in that helicopter?” It was only now that David discovered that Matthew did not recall the incident in the same way he did. Instead of see a strange cylindrical object, Matthew said that he had seen a silver helicopter land. However his recollection of the two men was the same. Both boys agreed that there was something not right about the whole experience. Looking back on what happened David believes that the pilots were actually ETs using a screen memory to hide their true appearance. It also seems likely that they also masked the appearance of their craft, hence why Matthew saw it as a helicopter. For whatever reason David either saw past this and could see the craft’s true appearance, or saw an entirely different constructed image. I have investigated and heard about other cases where extremely similar events to this has taken place. In some of these cases the individual involved has able to break past the screen memory using regressive hypnosis. Unfortunately David has not kept in touch with Matthew so I am unable to speak with him about the incident. Figure at the Window One evening in 1985 Derek and Marian came round to visit David at his grandparent’s house in Fulham. They left the flat at around 9pm to get back in their car, as it was time for David to go to bed. They turned round and looked back at David in the open doorway of the flat to wave him off. All of a sudden Derek came running back to the block of flats with a concerned look on his face. He ran straight past David and went into his bedroom seemingly searching the room for something. He soon came back out and explained to David’s grandparents what had happened. David overheard the conversation. Derek said that as he had looked back at the flat and waved he had seen a silhouetted figure standing in David’s bedroom looking out of the window. This figure had waved back at him from inside the flat in a very child-like way. David says there have been a number of incidents throughout his life where his Nordic contacts have waved at him in this fashion, some of which are mentioned later in this report. David believes that the figure that his father saw in the window was one of these beings who was watching over him during his time at the flat. A Witnessed Abduction Later in 1985 David moved to Hillingdon to live with his parents and older sister on a full time basis. He and his sister shared a bedroom. They would often leave the curtains open at night, and David remembers regularly staring out of the window while dropping off to sleep. One night his sister was awoken by an unexplained light. She looked up to find bright white light flooding into the room from outside of the window. Within this light she saw David floating horizontally. Only his legs were visible, his top half was already through the window. She watched for a moment as he continued to move through the window out of sight. Jumping up out of bed she ran over to the window to see what was going on. It was now that she realized the window was closed, meaning that David had passed through the solid glass! A moment later there was a massive flash of dazzling white light. Tracey was shocked backwards off her feet by the strength of it. David says this is the last thing she recalls taking place. David does not remember Tracey speaking with him about it in the morning. He says that it is likely that she just put it down to a strange dream. At the time he had no idea he was taken on that night. Many years later Tracey spoke with him about what had happened and what she recalled seeing. David wonders if the reason he used to often stare out of the bedroom window at night was because he was subconsciously aware of being taken through it on more than one occasion. Crowded Room In the months following the observed abduction of her brother, Tracey herself began to have experiences. On numerous occasions she would wake up in the night to find the room busy with figures. On these occasions she would also be paralyzed and unable to shout out. David believes that this happened to her on at least ten occasions while living at that house. She did not discuss these incidents with him at the time, he only found out about them years later. David informs me that Tracey has had contact experiences ever since. The last incident she informed him about occurred in late 2013. David feels that his sister has not accepted her experiences in the same open way that he has, and is therefore more fearful of them. It is common for multiple members of a family to experience contact and this certainly appears to be happening with this case. I have not yet been able to speak with Tracy. David is going to attempt to get some written statements off her about her experiences. Light Beyond The Door After a while Tracy moved into a separate bedroom on the other side of the landing. David continued to have experiences in the room. There were numerous occasions where he would wake up in the night with the dreadful feeling that something was about to take place. He would sit up in bed and look over at the door. Coming from behind the door on the landing would be a ghostly white glowing light, different to the colour of the normal landing light. He would then hear the door pressing inwards like someone leaning against it. To David’s recollection this happened on many occasions. He would always be too frightened to shout out, and never told Tracy or his parents about it. Nor would he ever get out of bed and try opening the door to see what was there, he would just drop off and wake in the morning like normal. In late 2010 David was at Tracy’s 40th birthday party when he overheard her talking about experiencing exactly the same thing when she was younger. It became clear that she too had been waking in the night and experiencing the same thing that David had, and just like him had never talked about it with anyone at the time! When David informed her of this she appeared quite frightened. This led on to them talking about other things Tracy had experienced over the years, some of which are mentioned later in this report. It is possible that these incidents led on to abduction experiences which neither David nor Tracy can remember. David says that it occurred around 20 times in the four years he was living at the house. Motorway Abduction By 1988 David’s grandparents had moved to Folkestone on the South East coast. He and his parents would regularly drive to visit them. They would drive along the M25 motorway around the Southern outskirts of London, head along the M26 and then finally the M20. One late afternoon they were on their way home from Folkestone. Derek was driving, Marian was in the passenger seat, with David sitting behind her. It was a clear day, not particularly sunny but still pleasant. There were a few other vehicles on the road, but it was relatively quiet. They were travelling about 70 mph along the motorway. What he recalls seeing was an F16 jet fighter. He was interested in military aircraft as a child so was able to recognise it. Photograph of the M26 in the direction the car was heading: Photograph of an F16 jet fighter: The jet was only about 500 feet behind the car, and at an altitude of no more than 200 feet. It was at an angle of about 35 degrees in the sky. It was close enough for him to see details such as the cockpit. It appeared to be pacing the car keeping the same distance and height. David informed his parents saying “There’s a jet following the car!” Derek responded saying that there couldn’t be as jets can’t fly that slowly. David continued to insist that he could see a jet and that it was keeping pace with the car. This went on for between 5-10 minutes. David was facing towards his parents trying to convince his parents the jet was there when suddenly the entire car was enveloped in darkness. Immediately there was no feeling of movement, it was like they had been removed from their environment entirely. Strangely it remained light inside the car even though there was only darkness visible through all the windows. David remembers retaining consciousness but feeling odd like he was beginning to slip away. He recalls looking at his parents who were both slumped back in their seats and looked like they were unconscious. Panicking, he shouted at them to try and wake them up. He had no idea what was going on but was scared of losing them. After several seconds, David then had the sense of something approaching the left side of the car, although he could not actually see anything outside. His last memory was of the left back door of the car opening. After this there is nothing. He assumes they must have continued their drive and got home safely but this is where his recollection of the event ends. In 2009 David was having a discussion with Derek about his contact experiences. Marian was also present but did not join in with the conversation. David was trying to convince him that his experiences were really taking place. While chatting David brought up the incident with the darkness around the car. As he recounted the experience to Derek, David watched the look on his face change. It was a moment of realisation. Derek exclaimed “Oh shit, I remember the car going black!” David responded saying “Yeah, we were taken off the motorway dad!” Just like David, Derek had no further recollection of what happened after this point. He could not remember anything approaching the car or opening the door, however this is not surprising as he and Marian appeared to have been unconscious at this time. David says that from that point onward his father treated his experiences more seriously. He says he will try to get a written statement off his father about this. If it had just been David who remembered this incident then perhaps one could argue that the jet really had been a normal aircraft, and that perhaps the darkness was the car entering a tunnel. However this would not account for everything else that David remembered, nor for how the jet was able to fly slowly enough to keep pace with the car. The fact that Derek also recalled this occurring puts the idea that it was a tunnel out of the question. It seems likely that the jet that was following the car was actually an ET craft, and that a screen memory is responsible for what David saw. From the evidence available it seems probable that David and both his parents were abducted from the vehicle, the memories of which were blocked out from their minds. The Shadow Being Returns At the age of 17 David was no longer living with his parents, and they had moved to a house in Bicester. David would regularly visit them. Whenever he did he would sleep in the second bedroom, which was quite small in size. One night while stopping over there he awoke and could immediately sense that something was about to happen. He sat up in bed looking around the darkened room. David would always close his bedroom door at night. As he watched, the same dark figure he had seen ten years previously entered the room walking straight through the solid door! David was absolutely terrified of the being, especially as he recognised it from before. Once again it seemed to want him to go somewhere with it. It simply asked “Are you coming?” Just like the first time David replied “No!” in an insistent tone. The figure said “You will.” And with that it turned and walked back through the bedroom door. The fact that the figure came back a second time ten years later is fascinating. Was this just coincidence or was this period between the two incidents significant in some way? David is not able to ascertain whether it was exactly ten years to the day, but suspects that it may have been. Some of what he has described – waking up in the night with a feeling of unease, seeing a dark shadowy form in the room – could fit in with sleep paralysis. However it is clear that on both occasions he was not paralyzed. He actually sat up in bed and felt completely awake. And the figure was inviting him to go with him which in theory would have involved physically getting up out of bed had he agreed to its request. I have investigated other contact cases where extremely similar beings have been reported. David has never seen the figure again. He believes this is because it was directly linked with the fear of his experiences. By his mid-twenties he was coming to terms with what was happening to him, and he feels that this is why he did experience any further visits from it. ADULT EXPERIENCES Dual Sleep Paralysis By the late 1990’s David had met and married Janet and moved into a house with her on St Annes Close in Bicester. Aerial map of St Annes Close: One night an unusual incident took place where they both experienced sleep paralysis at the same time. David went up to bed about 10.30pm, while Janet remained downstairs on the sofa. He lay down and was about to drop off when he suddenly realised he could not move. He then felt a presence enter the bedroom but could not lift his head to look round the room. This seemed to continue for a couple of minutes, after which the feeling lifted and he was able to sit up in bed. He got up and went downstairs to tell Janet what had happened. When he entered the lounge he found her sitting on the sofa looking concerned. He asked her if she was alright. She informed him that she had been lying down on the sofa when suddenly she found she couldn’t move. It felt like there had been someone standing there in the room behind her head. She could not look round and was understandably quite frightened. David could barely believe what had happened. They had seemingly both experienced sleep paralysis at the same time! David says that they had recently been watching a TV programme with psychologist Chris French on discussing sleep paralysis. Could this have somehow set them up to experience it on the same evening? While this is of course a possibility, it feels unlikely given the fact that neither he nor Janet had experienced it before. Looking back, David wonders whether this incident was contact related. New Forest UFO Video One summer around this period of his life David’s parents had gone on holiday to a chalet near Milford-By-Sea at the South edge of the New Forest. While they were away David’s grandfather suffered a heart attack. He survived it but had to spend some time in hospital to recover. David and Tracy tried getting in touch with their parents to inform them about what had happened, but they had turned their mobile phones off. So they decided to travel down in Tracy’s car to inform them directly and find out if they wanted to come back home. When they arrived at the chalet they discovered that their parents had gone out for a walk. They had to wait at the car park for them to return. While waiting they looked up into the sky and suddenly noticed something strange approaching their location. It appeared to be a glowing orange disc-shaped object. David estimates it was at an altitude of about 1500-2000 feet and was at least 50 feet across. It appeared to be travelling about 50 mph on a straight and level course. Tracy happened to have a video camera in the boot of the car. She got it out and started to film the UFO. When the object was out over the sea in the distance something very unusual took place. It suddenly seemed to bend from the middle forming a downward boomerang, almost as if it had altered its shape. They continued to watch it until it was nothing more than an orange dot in the distance and then vanished from sight. The whole video was about 17 minutes long, it was quite an extensive sighting. He then got in touch with an Oxford-based UFO group who are still active today. He informed them about the video and asked if they were interested in seeing it. They arranged for David and a friend to take the tape to them so they could watch it. David was a little un-nerved by the people he met with. They initially sat and watched the video in its entirety. They then began asking him lots of questions. They appeared very sceptical of both him and of the authenticity of the video. After getting a little freaked out by everything David decided he wanted to leave. He was about to ask for the tape back when one of the men suddenly said to him “Oh I’ve recorded over your tape by accident.” Confused David replied “That’s a bit mental isn’t it?” The man responded saying “Yeah I thought I was rewinding it, but I rewinded it and then pressed record by mistake. It’s been recorded over!” Unfortunately David had not made any copies of the footage so it was lost. He had no choice but to walk away empty handed. The whole thing felt very suspicious to him, and he had the distinct sense that there was something wrong. Perhaps this was nothing more than an unfortunate mistake. But David feels that the men were not who they claimed to be and may have deleted the video footage on purpose. There is of course no way to confirm this either way. Signs of Surveillance The deletion of the UFO footage is not the only suspicious thing which occurred around this period. At the time he was working as a bouncer at the Bullingdon Arms in Oxford (Now known as The Bullingdon). Recent photograph of The Bullingdon: One night he was on his way to work driving along St Annes Close. He drove past a bus stop with a man standing at it. He happened to glance in the rear view mirror. The man at the bus stop appeared to lean round and quickly snap a photograph of him with a camera! David immediately stopped the car. The man turned back around and continued to stand at the bus stop. There was something odd about the whole situation so David decided to drop it rather than reverse the car and question the man. Two days later David was standing on Oxford High Street. Two men approached from behind him until they were to the side of him. Then the further of the two lifted up a camera and took a picture of him past the other man. Both men then immediately walked off. It was extremely clear to David what had just happened and he was quite un-nerved by the situation. The following week David was sitting in the kitchen. He got up and happened to look out of the window. Opposite the house on the far side of the road he saw a parked brand new looking Saab with a man sitting in the driver’s seat. The man appeared to be watching the house. He was wearing a suit and tie and looked quite strong. As David watched, the man stepped out of the car and began to take photographs of the house. The kitchen window had a net curtain across it so David felt that the man could not see him. But after a minute the man dropped the camera and stared directly at David. It was as if he knew that David was watching him but didn’t care. In the following weeks numerous people informed him that his phone was making strange clicking sounds. David began to suspect that his phone calls were being tapped. Then an incident took place which appeared to confirm his suspicions.  One afternoon he spoke with a friend on the phone about the unusual experiences he had been having. Later on he was in the kitchen cooking when the phone started to ring. He picked it up but put it on his shoulder so he could continue cooking the dinner. It was Janet’s mother. She asked whether Janet was in. David informed her that she was not, to which she replied “OK then” and hung up. As David was cooking he did not immediately put the phone down. A few seconds went by, then he heard a man’s voice on the phone say “He didn’t say anything that time.” David asked “Excuse me?” There was a strange noise and the line went dead. David believes that someone was listening in to his phone calls to hear about his contact experiences, and that on this occasion they had assumed that David had ended the call. David did not get the phone line checked by anyone as he felt that he had nothing to hide anyway. A few months later there was a week where David and his family would go out and would come home to find the front door of the house open. It happened on three separate occasions within a single week. The latch on the door seemed fine so they did not think this explained what was happening. Every time it occurred they would check to see if anything had been stolen, but nothing ever seemed to be missing. After these incidents things seemed to quieten down, although there would be further incidents suggesting surveillance later in his life. These are covered later in the report. Information Downloads Around the same as the possible surveillance David had a number of experiences where he felt like he was receiving information directly into his mind. It would tend to happen when he was in a relaxed state of mind such as lying in bed, doing housework on his own, or even playing his drums. The information would come as sudden quick bursts of thought about deep concepts. One night he suddenly got up out of bed overwhelmed by thoughts about why the sphere is the most important shape in the universe. On another occasion he suddenly seemed to receive in depth information on how imagination works. Sometimes he would remember the information afterwards, other times it would be incoherent and he would understand it at the time but then later on not recall what he had thought about. It always felt like it was coming in from outside rather than just his mind daydreaming. He would sometimes see advanced geometric shapes or visions in addition to receiving concepts. On one occasion he had a vision of flying up into space from the planet’s surface. He then looked down and saw what looked like glowing white UFOs hovering everywhere in the atmosphere. These information downloads seemed to continue for about 18 months leading up to his "trigger experience". Paranormal Activity David and Janet experienced paranormal activity in their home for a number of years. There were numerous incidents where objects vanished and then later reappeared under unusual circumstances. On one occasion all three TV remote controls had gone missing one at a time. David was in the house alone and decided to vacuum everywhere. The house was completely clear and there was still no sign of the remote controls. But he went back into the living room and found all three remotes lined up in front of the television! On another occasion a bank note vanished from his pocket, and then weeks later he found it just sitting on the table. He was certain it was the same note as it was folded in the same way. Their first daughter Ellie was born in April 2000. They set up a baby monitor to listen to her after dark. On a number of occasions they heard strange whispering like sounds coming from the monitor. Sometimes Ellie would seem to respond to these sounds. Whenever they went upstairs to check there would be nothing there which could account for the noises. One day David’s work colleague John was visiting and David told him about what had been going on. While they talked there was a rustling sound on the monitor. John lifted it to his ear to have a listen. At that precice moment there was a sudden extremely loud shout through the monitor! They rushed upstairs as fast as their legs would carry them but there was no-one there. The timing of what had taken place was very unsettling, and David was certain that the noise had not been caused by interference, as they had heard this on other occasions and knew what it sounded like. Another experience involved a shadowy being in their own bedroom. One night David awoke to find a dark figure leaning over him. The figure appeared to be tucking in his side of the duvet cover. David assumed he was just having a dream and dropped back off to sleep. In the morning he awoke and found that it was very hard to move. The duvet seemed tighter than usual. When he checked he found that it was tucked in all the way along his side of the bed. Janet’s side of the bed was untucked like normal. At this moment he recalled what he had seen in the night. He exclaimed to Janet “Oh no! I saw someone last night tucking the duvet in!” Later on in his life his contacts informed him that all this paranormal activity was a side effect of him waking up to what was happening. He was informed that it was similar to pressure building up, and when the pressure is released it manifests as poltergeist-like activity. This may well explain why many contactees experience paranormal activity in their proximity. Family Abduction David’s “trigger” experience occurred in June 2000 when he was 24 years old, 9 weeks after Ellie was born. Back then he used to enjoy boxing. He had been in a match and had unfortunately cracked a rib. He was unaware of this at the time so had carried on training, but it became clear to him that the pain was not going away. Two weeks after the fight he decided he needed to get it checked out. He arranged for an X-Ray to be taken at Banbury. Janet drove him and Ellie to Banbury so he could get checked out. It was a clear and sunny day. On the way back at around 3pm they reached Ayhno. Janet was driving, while David was on the back seat next to Ellie who was asleep at the time in her car seat. They drove through the village and continued on the B4100 road which leads between Ayhno and Bicester. It was usually quite a busy road but at that time there were no other vehicles around. As Janet was driving she was the first to see this. She exclaimed “Oh my god! Look at that!” David looked out of the front window and could also see the craft. It appeared to be about 20 feet in diameter. The shape was a flattened disc, like two plates stuck together. It was metallic silver in colour and was reflecting the sunlight. There were no markings or lights on the object. It was at most 100 feet off the ground, and they were viewing it at an angle of about 30 degrees. Upon seeing the craft Janet slowed the car a little, down to about 40 mph. The UFO began to pace their vehicle, keeping the same position and height ahead of them. A moment later David began to feel unusual, he felt giddy and like he was beginning to pass out. The next thing he became aware of he was no longer in the car. He found himself standing on one side of a darkened dome-shaped area, which he assumed was aboard the UFO he and Janet had been observing. The curved walls and floor were metallic silver in colour. The floor appeared to be made out of metal plating split into joined sections. Around the edges of the room, at least on the far side from where he was standing were panels covered in dials, buttons and glowing lights. Above these panels were several long rectangular windows. The light in the room appeared to be coming from these windows; David does not recall seeing any other light sources inside the room itself. Although he did not actually turn round and look, he was sure it was dark behind him and that the only windows were on the far side. Through the windows he could see blue sky, suggesting that the craft was still in the atmosphere above the cloud layer. It reminded him of being in a darkened loft with the only light coming in from a window in the roof. David felt very groggy and dazed, almost like he had been drugged. His vision felt hazy, and his movements felt sluggish. He also sensed that he was being made to feel like everything was ok. There were no audible sounds in the room. He could not tell whether it was warm or cold, everything felt a little numb. To his left was Janet. She was standing but slumped and appeared to be in a trance. To her left was Ellie, still sitting in her car seat and fast asleep. All three of them were still clothed. Due to the fact that only he was aware of what was taking place, David sensed that this was something to do with him. Standing about 10 feet in front of them were five Nordic beings. It appeared to David like they had been waiting for him to arrive. Four of them appeared to be male, and the fifth looked female. All the beings had white skin and were wearing electric blue long sleeved jumpsuits, which reminded him of David Bowie from the 1960s. David is sure that there were belts around the waist but cannot be certain. He says that if they had been single piece suits he would have remembered this. He does not recall seeing any insignia's on them. The suits the beings were wearing were skin tight and followed the contours of their bodies. The hands were exposed. David believes they were wearing footwear but again cannot be certain as he did not look directly at this. This being looked very similar to himself in terms of facial features. However had very pale shoulder length hair, which appeared somewhere between white and blond. His irises were bright blue and also seemed to be a bit wider than normal human eyes. Also his skin looked more perfect and smooth, giving him almost the appearance of being moulded out of plasticine. He had a beard similar to David’s, although it looked neater and more defined and was the same pale blond colour. The female of the group had brown shoulder length hair with a straight fringe. She looked quite attractive, with brown eyes, brown eyebrows and a small nose. She had a slender waits and good figure. David did not look at her directly. He says that he almost felt embarrassed to look at her. The other three males all had dark hair, two with brown hair and one with black hair. They again looked attractive, almost perfect. They all had individual features rather than looking identical to one another. The central being was intensely staring at David, and he was transfixed by him. It was like his awareness of everything else around him was lulled. He felt like he was the one that it was ok to connect with and that he should pay full attention to him and not worry about what else was going on around him. About ten seconds went by, then the being stepped about four feet closer to David while the others remained further back. This seemed to increase the feeling of being controlled even more. David then began to hear a telepathic communication in his mind. The voice he heard was male and similar but a little different to his own. He knew that it was external, coming in from the being in front of him. The being first welcomed him, and said that this meeting with him was most interesting. He went on to explain that he and David were one and the same. He said that David would get comfortable with this in the future, and that it would be hard to accept immediately. The Nordic went on to explain that this was not the first time David had been taken, but it was the first time he was being allowed to consciously experience it. He said to David that it wasn’t particularly ideal what had happened, the way in which David had been woken up wasn’t exactly what they had wanted, but that it had to happen. He said that they were concerned about whether David was going to be able to handle what was happening. However part of the program David was involved in meant that he had to be woken up there and then. They were hoping that he would have naturally woken up but he had not, so they were forced to open his mind up to what was taking place. He went on to tell David that he had lived an unconscious life up to this point. But now he needed to wake up, and that they were going to mentor him through his spiritual development. The being said that David would be taught about unification, about the nature of reality.  He said that there was a huge program going on which David could not comprehend. This program involved many people and many different races, and there was a huge awakening going on all over the planet. He said that the old paradigm of everyone living separate compartmentalised lives was over, and that David would watch it unfold in a linear fashion. He explained that humans were going to wake up to the fact that we are not alone and that we are part of a huge community. This awakening would occur gradually, it would not be brought about by the ETs revealing themselves worldwide. The being said that this would occur through lots of people waking up to their alien self. So that when they do reveal themselves to the world we will already have accepted their reality. He then informed David that he was not human. He said that his physical body was human, but that he had some very interesting biological elements, which is why they had chosen his particular blood line. The last thing the being said to David was that he would never be alone, that they would always be there with him, and that he now had an important journey to begin. The communication seemed to go on for about 20 minutes. At the time David did not really understand much of what he was told, it was brand new concepts to him. During the communication with the being David says he was not in a normal state of mind. He said he was “in a state of complete awareness. He was a bit groggy but super conscious at the same time.” For this reason he did not feel the need to ask the being any questions, he was just listening and soaking up the information he was being given. This is the last thing that he recalls aboard the craft. The next thing he became aware of was being back in the car. It was a little further down the road, still moving, with Janet still at the wheel. Ellie was back alongside him still asleep in her chair. At first he had no recollection of what had happened. Confused by what had just happened, the first thing Janet said was “That ship’s disappeared!” David looked out of the window staring into the sky. As he did the memories of what had taken place started to come back. Amazed by what he was remembering he said to Janet “We were on board that ship!” Even more puzzled Janet just said “What?” David glanced at the clock in the car. It now said 3.42pm. He knew that when they had left Ayhno it had been approximately 3pm, so about 40 minutes had gone by. He said to Janet “Look at the time!” Janet now also checked the clock. Upon realising the time difference she exclaimed “No fucking way!” David simply responded with “Yeah!” At that moment it was just starting to come back to him and his mind was a jumble of information. They then sat in shocked silence as they continued to drive home. During this time the details of what had taken place continued to come back to him in vivid sudden flashbacks. They got back home and David recounted his memories of the experience to Janet. It was clear that she had no recollection of the abduction at all. This is not really surprising, as she had appeared to be in a trance aboard the craft. The last thing she remembered was seeing the UFO hovering ahead of them in the air. Then it had seemed to blink out and she suddenly found that the car was 100 yards further along the road. Up until that point David had always believed that there was something to the UFO subject, and that it would be great to see one with his own eyes. Now that this experience had happened David had the urge to tell everyone about it. However he soon discovered that many of those he told didn’t really seem to believe him. He soon stopped telling people about the abduction side of the experience, and just mentioned seeing the craft itself. However the negative reactions continued, he says that he even lost some friends over it. Back then he led a very different life. Some of his friends at the time could simply not accept what David was telling them and how it was affecting him, and sadly decided to stop speaking with him as a result. In the end Janet suggested that they should keep quiet about the incident and no longer mention it to people. In the weeks following the incident David found he was suffering from panic attacks related to what had taken place. These were happening both during the day and while he was lying in bed. David did not really know why he felt as he knew that the beings he had met did not mean him any harm, nor were they frightening in appearance. He knew that there was nothing to be afraid of, yet when the attacks took place he was terrified.  He could not understand why he should be afraid of these other people. But he felt like they may well come back, and if they did he would not be able to handle it. Janet was not getting these panic attacks. However David could sense that she didn’t want to get involved. It seemed that it was all too much for her to cope with. She accepted what had happened, but David sensed that she was troubled by the fact that the beings had spoken to him but had left her in a trance. She was scared that she was not in control of her own life. This led to her not wanting anything more to do with it. Unfortunately this means I am not able to speak with Janet directly regarding the incident. Awakening In the months following the abduction David went through an “awakening” regarding the UFO subject. Up until this point he was never really a big reader, but he now began to read books on the UFO and contact subject. He kept coming across opportunities to obtain more of these books. As an example, two weeks after the abduction incident he and Janet went to a car boot sale. On one of the stalls a particular book caught David’s eye. The book was “Preparing For Contact: A Metamorphosis Of Consciousness” by Lyssa Royal. It deals with the multi-dimensional, psychological and spiritual aspects of the subject. When David asked how much it was, the lady selling it responded saying “Oh that’s not mine!” Strangely she could not remember actually owning the book and had no idea where it had come from. "Preparing For Contact" book cover: David built up a collection of over 400 books on Ufology, but in more recent years he has given them all away to friends and family. He senses when someone could benefit from reading them and passes them on, with no intention of receiving them back. As the year went by David went through some major life changes. He became a vegetarian and lost 6 stone in weight. He decided that he did not have the heart for boxing any more so gave it up. He became more and more interested in spiritual concepts and less interested in his worldly possessions. As a result of this his personality changed in many ways. He became much more compassionate towards other people and the environment. He began to seek a deeper understanding of the world around him. David is not the only contactee to go through these changes. This is a known side effect of experiencing contact, and something that has been reported many times before. Sister’s Dream Later in 2000 David’s sister Tracy happened to purchase a property next door on St Annes Close, which she remained at for two years. This meant that they had many more opportunities to talk about experiences with one another. One day in late spring Tracey came round for a chat. She informed him she had had a very strange dream during the night. She said that in the dream she was lying in bed and then heard movement in the bedroom. She opened her eyes to find a number of beings standing near to her. For whatever reason, she refused to look directly at them. They got her up out of the bed and walked her out of the room onto the landing. Out on the landing it was very dark. All of a sudden she felt her perception change and realised she was no longer on the landing. She found herself in a corridor with metallic silver walls. A door opened up which led through to a glowing white room with a large oval-shaped window in the far wall. And standing next to the window was David. While describing the dream Tracey looked confused. She said “It was weird. It was like you, but it was like it wasn’t you. You were wearing this blue uniform. You had light hair, and it was almost shoulder length, and you had a beard.” (at the time David had a shaved head and no beard) “You welcomed me, and it was like you, but you seemed to know loads of stuff! It’s like you were all knowing, and you seemed totally comfortable with the fact that you were on this space ship. I went over to the window with you. We were looking out of the window and we were above a crop field, about 20 feet above the ground, and there was a big circle underneath us in the crop, and a little circle coming off the big circle.” Tracey ended by saying “I can’t get over it, because it was like you but as if you were an alien.” It was immediately clear to David that Tracey was describing his key Nordic contact rather than himself. At the time he had not openly informed his sister of his contact experiences. This was one of the instances which led up to him finally discussing everything in depth with her, but at this time he kept what he knew to himself. He was quite worried about how his sister would deal with everything. Either the following day, or the day after that, Tracey came round again. She seemed very excited about something.  She informed David that she had been checking online and found that on the same night she had had the dream a crop circle had been found down in Wiltshire that was the same shape as what she had dreamt! She was certain of this because the article mentioned the specific date the crop formation had appeared. David did not have internet access in his home at the time so never got to see the photograph which Tracey was referring to. It seems probable that what Tracy was describing was an abduction experience rather than just a dream, and that she had met with the same beings that David has interacted with on numerous occasions. If so then what can be made of the crop formation? It is a known fact that many of the formations, especially in the Wiltshire area, are the work of hoaxers. Could it have just been a coincidence that the formation seen on the news soon after her dream matched in its shape? Or is it possible that the formation was genuine, and that the UFO she was aboard was over Wiltshire and had actually created it? David says that Tracey has reported having dreams about himself and ETs on numerous occasions. He believes that these may well be other contact experiences, but ones which Tracy is interpreting as dreams. The Woman in Orange On another occasion David and Tracey had had a disagreement, and were not in the best of moods with each other. During the night Tracey woke to find a woman standing in her room at the base of the bed. The lady was wearing an orange coloured skin-tight jumpsuit. She had dark shoulder length hair and her facial features were very human. She had an angry expression on her face and was staring right at Tracey with folded arms. The woman then put out one arm and pointed directly at Tracey. A moment later she vanished from view. Tracey was concerned about what had happened because of the fact that she and David had been arguing, and the woman who appeared in her room looked angry with her. She settled back down to sleep, but in the morning informed David of what she had seen. Disc UFO Photograph One day in early 2002 David took a photograph of his daughter Ellie in the front room of their house on his iPhone 4. Ellie was about 18 months old at the time. Behind her was a ceiling to floor window. When he got the photo developed he was amazed to see what appeared to be a dark oval-shaped domed disc in the sky visible through the window through the thin curtains. It was positioned almost directly over Ellie’s head. David had not seen anything with his naked eye when he took the photo. Original photograph with the object ringed: Zoomed view of the UFO: Zoomed view with fixed contrast: Zoomed view with edge find: As you can see the shape of the object certainly looks similar to a “classic” domed-disc craft. Unfortunately the image has been opened and saved in Windows Photo Viewer. While this does not suggest that the image was manipulated, nor would I have any reason to be concerned that it is, this has unfortunately changed some of the metadata, the data which sits behind the image which I often check to confirm authenticity. That said there are still a number of important observations which can be made. Below are a series of images comparing the metadata of three different photographs using an online metadata viewer. On the left is the metadata of an un-modified control iPhone picture. In the middle is the same photograph intentionally modified in Paintshop Pro to show the metadata changes which occur. On the right in the UFO photograph. On each image I have highlighted important points, and under each the reason for the highlights. Basic Image Information - When the image is modified the size generally reduces as the editing software has a better compression than the original camera software. While it's impossible to say what size the UFO photo should be it is large enough to not cause concern. - On un-modified images no colour profile is set. When the picture is modified this gets embedded. There is no colour profile set on the UFO photo. XMP - XMP tags are missing from original images. However they are on the UFO photograph because it was opened and saved in Windows Photo Viewer. EXIF - There are usually very few EXIF tags on iPhone images. Most of the EXIF tags in the UFO photograph have been added by saving it in Windows Photo Viewer. - EXIF Image Size tag changes to Image Size tag when the image is modified. The UFO photo has EXIF Image Size and no Image Size here. JFIF, File & Composite - Related to the File Size in Basic Image Info, the File Size tag reduces when the image is modified. ICC Profile - ICC Profile tags are related to editing software and so do not appear on original images but are added when they get modified. There are no ICC Profile tags on the UFO photograph. While it is possible to amend metadata after modifying a photograph, the most likely way of doing this would be to use a software tool. The most comprehensive tool available for this is known as Exif Tool. While it is possible to set back most of the tags, it is incapable of completely changing them back. Exif Tool cannot change Exif Image Size back once it has been replaced with Image Size on manipulation of the image. While it might be feasible to do this using programming code, nobody has been able to conclusively confirm this, and it is likely that if Exif Tool cannot do this then neither can raw code. Therefore I feel there is compelling evidence in the metadata that the photograph has not been modified. Unfortunately no three dimensional detail can be seen on it even after enhancement, possibly due to the distance, lighting, picture quality and fact that the object is being viewed through a thin white coloured curtain. It is impossible to say for definite whether it is a large object at a distance or something small closer to the lens, for example some debris falling outside of the window. It does not look like the right shape to be a passing bird, and the even blurring around the edges of the object suggests it is stationary rather than moving. The fact that this is an analogue photograph rather than digital means that possible digital manipulation of the image can be disregarded. As both David and his family have had many contact experiences throughout their lives, which have included other UFO encounters, there is certainly a possibility that this photograph shows a genuine craft hovering in the vicinity of the property. Cemetery Visitation That same year David used to work as a gardener for the cemetery of St Edburg’s church on Church Lane, Bicester. Aerial map of St Edburg’s church: One late morning he was weeding the pathway that leads from the gate to the church door. He suddenly heard a telepathic message in his head which said “We love you.” David immediately looked up. At the end of the pathway near to the gate were a man and a woman staring straight at him. They were white and had blond coloured hair with good looking facial features. They looked completely human. They were both wearing normal clothing, which was mostly in different shades of white. David looked back at them, trying to establish whether or not it was them who had spoken to him in his mind. Photograph of the church showing the end of the pathway: A moment later the couple both lifted their hands and began to wave in the same manner he has seen his contacts do on numerous occasions. They then turned and walked back through the gate. At the time David was just coming to terms with his contact experiences so was still a little un-nerved by the situation. He did not follow after the couple, but felt certain that this was a visitation. These particular beings were not familiar to him, and he has not seen them in any of his other experiences. Psychic Experiments Around this time in David’s life he and his friend Trish began to try out a series of experiments to determine whether or not they possessed psychic abilities. Back then David was going through a period of his life where he wanted to find out as much as he could about what he was experiencing. His friend is very interested in the concepts of energy and awareness. So on numerous occasions they tried different tests out to see if they were psychic and if so to what level. David says that it was astounding how naturally this seemed to work for him. A couple of instances particularly stand out. On one occasion they attempted mind reading. David told Trish to think of somewhere at random. He would then close his eyes and try to determine where she was thinking of. When he did this the first thing which he felt was that he was outside. He asked her “Are you outside?” to which she confirmed that she was. He felt he was in a field and that there was a breeze. Then he suddenly realised he was surrounded by tall standing stones, but he didn’t recognise the location. His only reference point for this was Stonehenge, so he said to her “It’s like Stonehenge”. Trish informed him that she was at the Rollright Stones. David is certain they had not been discussing stone circles so there was no way he would have been influenced to say this. Photograph of the Rollright Stones, Oxfordshire: On another occasion David found that he was able to move Trish’s head by placing his hands near her but not touching her. He got her to sit down, relax and close her eyes. He then walked round behind her and placed his hands about 4 inches from her head out of her sight range. Without saying anything he rolled his hands to the left. Trish’s head followed this movement even though she should not have been able to feel anything. He tried this numerous times, getting her head to turn and tilt backwards and forwards. They both found this fascinating. Next he got her to stand up and he found he could push her from behind or the side without touching her. Trish confirmed that she could feel the sensation of pressure and would just go with it. When they reversed the experiment and Trish tried the same thing on David it didn’t really work. David says that in one of his later communications with his contacts, they warned him off doing this type of thing. He was told that these things were tricks, and that many people are capable of performing similar feats. The ability to do such things is unrelated to level of spiritual awareness, so these experiments were not helping him evolve spiritually in any way. Entity Interaction By the summer of 2002 the family had moved into a small rental house on Roman Way in Bicester. While living at this address a series of unusual incidents occurred. Aerial map of Roman Way: The main bedroom of the house was so small that it was not possible to open and close the door past the double bed, so it used to be kept open all the time. One night David and Janet were lying in bed when suddenly David felt really heavy and felt the sensation of paralysis. He was only able to move his eyes. Looking over at the doorway to the landing he saw a shadowy form walk up the stairs and pass across the open door. He then heard the girl’s bedroom door physically being opened. The shadowy form entered the room out of sight. Immediately David heard Sacha say “Oh no, not you again!” in a friendly jokey manner. After this he blacked out. The next thing he became aware of it was morning time. After getting up he informed Janet about what had happened. It was now that he discovered that she too had been paralysed at the same time, and had also seen the shadowy form and heard Sacha speak! This startled David and brought home the reality of what had taken place. They did not speak with Sacha about it as she was quite young and they didn’t want to upset her. If only David had experienced this incident then I would certainly suggest sleep paralysis as an explanation. This often occurs just as people are about to drop off to sleep. It is possible during sleep paralysis to experience visions of shadowy moving forms. However the likelihood that both he and Janet experienced this at the same time, and also saw and heard the same things while under paralysis is extremely low. Also there is a level of physical reality to the experience due to the fact that David said he could hear the bedroom door being opened and then Sacha reacting to the being entering the room. While sleep paralysis cannot entirely be ruled out as an explanation, I feel there is also the possibility that Sacha experienced a visitation by an ET being, and that David and Janet were “shut down” while this took place. Unidentified Blood About two days after the dual paralysis incident, David went into the girl’s room to wake them up. When he looked over at Ellie’s bed he was shocked by what he was greeted with. Ellie was lying in a very strange manner with her arms straight down by her side, almost like she was dead. And there was dried blood splattered all across her face. It was in long streaks almost like it had been splashed on her. David first assumed she had had a nose bleed in the night and rolled over into it. But there was no blood around or inside her nose, and the pillow she was lying on was completely clean. Panicking David hurriedly woke her up. This made her worried too as she had no idea what was going on. She went to the bathroom and washed the blood off her face. There was no adequate explanation for where it had come from, to all intents and purposes it looked like someone else’s blood. Although Ellie had soon forgotten about what happened, David still dwells on what took place. Ellie’s Dreams Around this same time period Ellie also began to experience very specific recurring dreams which she would share with her parents. In these dreams she said that she would fly to the moon. Once there she would go and sit in classes which took place in underground rooms. In the dreams she saw herself and her parents as pterodactyls. Ellie mentioned these particular dreams in her recorded testimony: “I was in year two and when I went to sleep I remember flying off to the moon as a pterodactyl. That's how I saw it, as a pterodactyl. Wings like green, with wings flying. And when I got there I had a family, I had brothers and sisters, I had friends, I had a mum and dad. We used to fly around the moon and dance. I know it was the moon. It looked like a moon face. What we would do is fly around the moon, and we went back and had dinner. There was like a little house, and my mum and dad used to stay in the kitchen. I went to this school with all the others, and I used to sit in a class in the classroom, we used to have lessons…flying lessons. I don't remember anything about UFOs as such but I remember the pterodactyl. When I was younger I used to associate things with other things. I used to tell all my friends at school that I was a pterodactyl. And they all used to make fun of me for it obviously. I remember show and tell, I used to tell the teacher I was a pterodactyl who goes to the moon.” David and Janet became quite concerned by the regularity of these dreams. They went on for about three months and after that she stopped speaking about them. It is unknown whether these dreams were anything to do with contact, but it is interesting that they took place around the same time as other unexplained incidents in the house. These are not the only unusual dreams that Ellie has had. She has also had other recurring dreams involving craft and featuring David. Below is another statement from her recorded testimony: “I used to remember being on this big round silver platform but I could see it had glass walls and I could see out of it, see Earth, I couldn't see stars but I knew I was in space, well that's my interpretation of it, and dad was always with me but he didn't speak, he used to just stand there, but I seemed to know what he was thinking, what he was talking about, that sort of thing. I saw other people too. They looked human...almost. They were practically human. They weren't human but they looked human. But I always remembered it as a dream.” It is possible that these dreams were flashbacks to one or more contact experiences, and the being that she met with was not David but in fact his key Nordic contact. This would explain why she appeared to be able to talk telepathically with him. The other beings could well have been other humanoid ETs or even hybrids. Hide and Seek One day in 2002 David was playing hide and seek with Ellie and Sacha. Janet was out at the time. The girls went upstairs to hide in the bedroom while David counted downstairs. He went up to look for them. He couldn’t find them so decided to check back downstairs. He suddenly heard the girls calling out loudly from above him. Heading to the bottom of the staircase he decided to bring the game to a close by offering them some cake. A moment later the girls came downstairs looking extremely troubled. They then told him that they had heard the airing cupboard door open and seen their bedroom door handle moving. Until David had called out they thought it was just him messing around. Ellie mentioned the incident in her recorded testimony: “What happened was dad was chasing us and taking the piss, so me and Sacha found a place to hide ourselves in. And we thought he faked going downstairs 'cause we heard him walk down, we thought he was pretending to get us to come out. And then I heard the airing cupboard next to our room, I heard the airing cupboard open, and the handle of our door started going up and down and I screamed "Dad stop it!" and the airing cupboard door closed. And dad shouted when we were screaming to him, and he was downstairs, he was down there and he came to the bottom of the stairs. And he said "Do you want any cake girls?" And we were like "What?" ‘Cause we thought he was the one who'd got in the airing cupboard. It was while mum was at work or something in the holidays. And we came out of our room and came down and dad went up, and I remember him saying something about all the clothes in the airing cupboard were all messed up. It was very creepy.” As mentioned previously in this report, the family experienced what appeared to be paranormal activity within the house on numerous occasions. What else could explain what had taken place? Even if the girls had heard creaking of the house and thought it was the airing cupboard door opening, this cannot account for the fact that they saw the bedroom door handle actually moving. Nor does it explain why the clothing in the cupboard appeared to have been moved around. Grey & Foot Marking While there were numerous incidents at Roman Way involving his daughters, there were others involving David on a more direct level. One night Janet had gone out to Bicester with her brother and his wife, leaving David at home with the girls.  His daughters had gone up to bed and he was lying on the sofa in the living room watching TV. He then began to feel what he described as a “shift in reality”. David says he has felt this on numerous occasions. As it happened he saw something in his peripheral vision. Standing in the open doorway leading to the kitchen was a Grey being. It was quite tall in height, between 5-6 feet, and unclothed. It had a large head, almond shaped black eyes and pale grey coloured skin. This was the last thing that David remembers, he blacked out and can’t recall what happened next. Witness drawing of the Grey in the doorway: David woke up in the same position, and felt wrong in some way, a bit shaken. He woke up roughly 20 minutes before his wife came home, so must have been unconscious for about 4-5 hours. He had a pain in the back of his head, and his feet were also hurting. He took off his socks to check them out. On the base of his right foot he was shocked to find an intricate pattern of circles and curved lines. It immediately reminded him of a crop formation. The lines which made up the pattern were red and inflamed. It looked like someone had stamped the shape into the base of his foot. Witness drawing of the marking on his right foot: When Janet, her brother and sister arrived home it was clear to them that David was not his usual self. They informed him that he looked really pale, and asked him whether he was alright. The whole situation felt uncomfortable and it wasn’t long before Janet’s brother and sister left. David showed Janet the marking and explained that he had no idea where it had come from. The marking on his foot took several days to heal and disappear. Initially it was very painful to stand on. After a while it went purple like bruising, and David found he could walk on it again. David has thought about the possibilities for where the marking came from. He wondered if he had perhaps kicked out at something in his sleep, or got up and trod on one of his daughters toys. However there was nothing in the vicinity which could account for the strange shapes, nor was he prone to sleep walking. Also surely if he had trodden on something or kicked something so hard that it damaged his foot he would have immediately woken up with the pain. The fact that the last thing he saw prior to finding the marking was a Grey in his proximity suggests that it was contact-related. Perhaps he was abducted and the marking was an after effect of a particular instrument being used on him. Or perhaps something was done to him in the living room directly. Unidentified Van Another incident happened at Roman Way which David believes may have been linked with surveillance.  The house was quite small with no front garden, just a public footpath. David used to park his car right outside the front of the house. One day he and Janet went out in the car. When they returned they found a transit van parked in their space. It was parked right up across the pavement, with the back of it facing directly into the living room window! The back of the van had two mirrored windows, and it was impossible to see what was inside of it. David went back outside to have a better look at the van. There were things about it that just felt wrong. It looked absolutely brand new and hardly used. It clearly didn’t look like a typical workman’s van. On the side of the van was the words “Astral Windows”. There was no contact number or website. The next day the van was still there, parked right up against the window. Both David and Janet were a little bothered by it. At first they wanted to know why it was parked there. Janet checked the internet for a company called Astral Windows but could not find anything. After a while they found the proximity of the van’s mirrored windows to be quite disconcerting, and so closed the curtains. The van remained there for two further days. Then when David came back home he found it had gone. David has numerous thoughts about what took place. He wonders if the van may have been surveillance related and that there was a camera inside it set up to film his living room. Another theory, given the wording on the van, is that there was a more esoteric explanation. A Warning Around his period of his life, David had a friend who we shall name Mark. David informs me that Mark’s father worked at RAF High Wycombe and held a high ranking position. David would sometimes meet up with Mark in Bicester for a drink. On one occasion Mark informed David that his father had warned him off speaking with him. While Mark was speaking with his father about UFOs, apparently he had told him that David was dangerous and that he should no longer meet up with him. He told him that it wasn’t a joke and that he should not be hanging around with someone who says that they are experiencing contact. David does not know whether Mark’s father had an issue with him personally (they had never met so there was no reason to), or perhaps knew something about contact due to his high position within the military. Wide Eyed Being & His Craft One Sunday evening in late 2002 David decided to walk to the off licence at the bottom of Market Square and get a few cans of beer. He said goodbye to Tracy and left the house. He took the normal route around the outskirts of town. On the way he noticed that a few of the street lights were starting to flicker when he walked past them, as has happened on other occasions. Aerial map of Market Square (The off licence no longer exists): After getting the beer from the shop he decided to take a different route home and walk through the centre of town instead of retrace his steps. As he walked along the high street he noticed a man on the other side of the road walking the same direction as him. He continued along the road. The man crossed over and slowly came nearer until they were walking side by side. They reached the corner at the top of the street. David turned to look at the man. He had white skin, dark hair slightly Hispanic features, and was wearing a beige coloured overcoat. But the man’s eyes were not right. They looked too large for his head. The man looked directly at him. At this point David felt an extremely strong connection, a sense of overwhelming familiarity, almost like this man was his brother. He realised that this man was an ET being. Witness drawing of the humanoid being’s face: The being began to speak with him telepathically, saying “Can you come with me Dave?” David completely trusted this being and just replied “Yes”. They walked along a couple of roads until they reached a large open plan car park. In the corner of the car park near to the bottle banks David could see a landed silver coloured saucer-shaped craft. It was standing on three legs and had steps coming down from an open doorway down to the ground. There were other people around but they did not seem to be able to see the craft at all. When David looked directly at it, it felt like it was really far away, almost like it was there but not there at the same time. He finds this feeling extremely hard to put into words. Witness drawing of the landed craft in the car park: The being led him towards the craft. As they got nearer he noticed that there was some kind of energy field around the craft. They got nearer and stepped into this field. Immediately it was like the craft was fully solid and present. However when he glanced round and looked at the car park it now seemed to be really distant. It was like the energy field around the craft caused it to exist in on a different level of reality to the surroundings. The being led him up the steps into the craft. Inside it was quite dark and compact. There was enough space for at most four people. There was a control panel covered in buttons, and a number of windows around the edge. Then the being asked him “What do you want to do?” Puzzled by this question David said “What? Can we go up into space?” Immediately he felt the craft lifting off and they shot upwards out of the atmosphere. David could not grasp the reality of what was taking place, it was too much to take in. He turned to the being and asked “So I know you do I?” To this the being gave a very cryptic answer. He said “We’ve been sharing the same dream for a long long time.” The next thing David became aware of he was waking up in his bed and it was the following morning. David could barely fathom what had happened. He had no recollection of walking back to his house and getting into bed. It was like his normal waking life had ended up seamlessly into a dream. However it had not felt like a dream at all, it was extremely vivid and he could remember every little detail. On seeing him awake,Janet turned to him and said “What happened to you last night? You didn’t come home from the shop.” David did not tell her about what had happened as he was still trying to understand it himself. After getting up he looked around the house but could find no sign of the cans of beer he had bought from the shop. This bizarre incident could be easily brushed off as an unusual dream. However if this were the case then why did David not remember walking back home and going to bed? He did not consume any of the beer he had bought so alcohol is not related to what took place. He has not had this happen on any other occasions, and there is no sign of it being related to a medical condition. If he had come back home then Janet would surely have seen him? The fact that she mentioned he had not come home from the shop suggests that he had gone somewhere and that something out of the ordinary took place. Neighbour’s UFO Sighting Towards the end of 2002 David and his family had moved again to a house on Market End Way. One day in 2003 he heard a knock on the front door. When he answered it he discovered it was his next door neighbour Scott (the drummer from heavy metal band A Trust Unclean), who appeared to be quite excited. Scott explained that he had just witnessed a UFO hovering over the house! He had been on his way back from the shops and was walking up Buckingham Road when he looked up into the sky. There within 100 feet of the roof of David’s house he saw what looked like a gun metal grey coloured saucer-shaped object. At first he thought it was a particularly dark grey cloud but as he continued to look at it he realised it was a solid structured object hovering in the air. He observed it for a couple of minutes as he walked along the road. David’s drawing of the UFO that Scott described seeing above the roof of his house: At the end of the road Scott had to walk down two short streets in order to reach Market End Way. This meant briefly losing sight of the UFO. When he got onto Market End Way he looked back above the house but the object was no longer present. As far as David is aware he did not return to Buckingham Road to see if it reappeared, he immediately headed to his house to let him know what he had just seen. There is of course the possibility that what Scott had witnessed was some kind of inflatable object or model, however given the fact that it was positioned over David’s house there is also the possibility that it was an ET craft. TV Images One night an extremely unusual incident involving the TV took place. David found himself walking downstairs into the living room. Due to the fact it was after dark he immediately assumed that he was dreaming. He entered the room he sat down on the sofa. He then realised that the television was on. It appeared to be showing many moving images one after the other extremely fast, almost like it was changing channels continuously. Many of the images were so fast that it was hard to see what they were, but David recalls seeing people marching, two children sitting together, various scenery and other symbolic things. Strangely although this was happening David did not react in a normal manner. He did not get up and go and check the TV or try switching it off. He just sat there and watched the images. This went on for several minutes. Then he began to see the image of a woman’s face superimposed over the other changing images. She was white, with curly brown-blonde coloured hair. She had very large blue eyes and strangely her mouth appeared too large for her face, almost like the picture was distorted. She was staring right at David with a very peculiar expression. David finds it hard to describe this expression, but it has haunted him ever since and makes his hair stand on end when he thinks too much about it. The woman’s face stared at him for about ten seconds. Then suddenly the TV switched off and he found himself in darkness. At this moment he realised he was not dreaming but was actually sitting in the living room! Upon realising this, the absurdness of the situation began to sink in. He knew it had actually taken place as he was not lying down on the sofa like he had just woken up from a dream. And instead of going straight to sleep afterwards he got up off the sofa and went to get a drink and have a cigarette. In the end he did go back upstairs and went to bed. This is a very odd experience, and could possibly have been another “information download”. Could the images David saw on the TV have been shown to him on purpose? David says there were far more images displayed than the number of TV channels they had, tending to suggest that it was not merely a fault with the television. The face which appeared at the close of the experience is another fascinating aspect. Who was this woman? Certainly it was no-one David had seen before or since. Why appear to David without saying anything to him? Was this being the source of what was happening? As you can see there are many unanswered questions regarding this incident. UFO Landing & Line of Beings In the summer of 2004 an extremely unusual experience took place. David was on his way back to the house with his friend Ricky. It was about 10pm and was a clear night. Due to the time of year the sun had not fully set so the stars were not yet present in the sky. They were driving along Charbridge Lane on the South East edge of Bicester. After driving around the roundabout where Peregrine Way joins Charbridge Lane, David suddenly became aware of a bright object up in the sky out of the right side windows. It was behind them off to the right of the car to the South of their location. It appeared to be between 500-1000 feet high and about 200 feet away from the road. It was hard to estimate the size but it looked large, and was definitely a glowing object in the atmosphere rather than something distant out in space. Ricky was especially fascinated by the object as up until this point he had never seen a UFO. The object was moving almost parallel to the road. Rather than travelling on a straight course the object was undulating in dipped arcs and also slowly descending as it moved. Between each arc it would briefly stop moving. It was travelling a little faster than the car, David estimates between 60-100 mph, so slowly came up alongside them and then continued onward a short distance ahead. Witness drawing of the glowing UFO and its movement path: They continued to drive, talking about the object saying to each other “Wow this is a really good sighting here!” By the time they had travelled round the next island where Gavray Drive meets Charbridge Lane, the object was very low indeed. They knew by this time that this object was coming down and was going to land in the fields off to the right of the road. The witnesses were previously familiar with this area of land, and refer to as the “Ghost Fields”. A short distance on from the island they pulled in at the side of the road. Opposite them was a stile that led on to a public footpath through the trees. They got one final look at the object just before it disappeared behind the tree line. At this point it could only have been 100 feet in the air at most. They both knew this was an opportunity to possibly observe an actual UFO on the ground. David asked Ricky “How brave are you feeling? Come on Rick, we’ve stopped the car here, there’s a footpath into those fields, let’s go.” David informs me that Ricky is a relatively brave guy. He agreed to leave the car and go to look for the landed object. They crossed over the stile and began walking down the footpath, which was rather overgrown and strewn with debris. Continuing along the path they entered the corner of the field which lies directly alongside the road. As they did, they both expected to see the landed object right there in front of them. Everything was very quiet and un-nerving. Photograph of the footpath. David claims that it used to be more overgrown than it is today: David says that back in 2004 the field was covered in crop rather than grass. They began to walk along the Western edge of the field. Across the far side of the field they could see the other hedgerow with clumps of trees. As they got to about 2/3 of the way along the field they began to see a glowing white light emanating from behind this hedgerow. It was immediately obvious that the object had come down in the next field across from them. The witnesses decided to stop and light up a cigarette. They were quite un-nerved by this point and hesitant to get any closer to the object. David felt sure that this was not his usual Nordic contacts. He says that whenever he has had contact with the Nordics he is aware when they are going to appear, like an innate psychic sense. On this occasion he did not have this sense, so instinctively knew that this was something else. He knew that this was nothing to do with him, and that they were just in the right place at the right time. The light was seen behind the trees in the distance on the right: The witnesses stood still and watched the light. They expected to observe the UFO take off again, but this did not happen. They decided between one another that they would wait for 10 minutes and see if anything occured, and if not they would approach the trees for a closer look. All of a sudden a line of figures appeared from out of the trees and vegetation. David believes there were at least 12, perhaps more. They appeared to be male and were wearing white suits that covered them entirely, similar to biological hazard suits. The suits had visors for the figures to see through. The beings were between 5-6 feet tall, typical adult height. They were walking shoulder to shoulder but were not uniformly arranged, some were closer to each other than others. What David found particularly strange was that the vegetation looked quite thick across the far side of the field and yet these figures had all appeared at once in a long line. It seemed impossible that they would be able to maintain this formation, almost like they were ghostly and had literally walked through the vegetation rather than stepped around it. David’s drawing of the line of beings: The figures started walking across the field heading in a Western direction towards the road, almost as if they were looking for something on the ground. The witnesses didn’t really know what to do. After about 30 seconds Ricky lifted his hand and pointed at them. Seemingly reacting to this, one of the figures stopped and turned towards them. At this moment David had a vision of the beings face right up next to his. It was as though the being had instantly moved to within inches of his face. Through the visor David could see that this figure was humanoid in its features. It looked like a man, about 40 years old, with brown hair and eyebrows. His eyes had dark irises and were staring intensely at him. However his skin appeared to be a pale blue colour, and looked more leather-like than human skin, almost like a model. It reminded him of an Action Man doll. David says that it is possible the blue colouration could have been from the visor rather than the man’s face, it was hard to say either way for sure. David’s drawing of the face of the being close up: David then heard a very clear and direct message inside his mind – “Fuck off!” At this he felt utter dread in the pit of his stomach. He immediately turned and ran, not even thinking about Ricky. It was only when he reached the stile at the edge of the road that he realised Ricky was right there just behind him. Both men jumped over the stile, ran over the road and got back into the car. Immediately afterwards a police car happened to drive past. David thought to himself “They’ve got no idea what is going on in the field within hundreds of feet of them”. He turned to Ricky and said “Sorry mate about running.” He then proceeded to tell Ricky what he had seen and heard in his mind. At this moment Ricky informed him that he had experienced almost exactly the same thing! Just like David he had seen the being turn and look at them, then had seen it right up next to his face staring at him. However the message that he heard in his mind was “Fuck off, go away!” He then had an overwhelming sense of uneasiness, and had then turned and ran, not caring about whether David was there with him or not. The witnesses decided not to remain in the area any longer so continued their drive home. As they drove they discussed what had taken place, including what the beings may have been. The general appearance of them was that they had been human. However the psychic vision and telepathic message, skin tone and texture, and the way in which the beings had emerged from the vegetation suggested otherwise. Neither of the witnesses returned to the incident location afterwards, so we have no way of knowing how long the UFO remained at the location for, or whether there were any ground markings left behind. Unfortunately the field is so overgrown and boggy now that it was not possible to walk to the estimated location where the UFO seemed to have landed. It is unlikely that after 10 years there would have been anything to see anyway. The below photo shows how close we did manage to get before giving up: The whole incident felt extremely surreal to both witnesses. While out at the field with me as part of the investigation David tried to sum up how he felt about what took place: “It was all too crazy. We weren’t ready for it, we weren’t in control.  But it was quite an experience. Because what happened was so objective, so random. It was clearly nothing personally to do with us. It just took place. And we ran away. We ran away! With my own contacts there’s always been a lot of love and security based around it. They go to great lengths to make you feel secure in their presence. So it’s different, this was not that. For some reason we were allowed to see this clip of their lives, and that happened here.” When we visited the field David had not been there for many years. I asked him how he felt about being back there: “It looks very different to be honest with you, to how it did that night, but...not weird or anything. To be fair I personally now know a lot more than I did then, so I am more comfortable with what happened. I acted in a very human way. If it happened now I’d probably try to send a message back to him and tell him we were going to stay!” In June 2015 Ricky provided some written statements about experiences he had been present for. Regarding this incident he said the following: "Me and Dave were driving back home from a place called Brill Hill one night. We entered Bicester and were driving past a place the locals call the Ghost Fields and we were looking around, and in the sky was a big glowing orb falling slowly from the sky side to side like a leaf would fall. It looked like it was landing a couple of fields over from the road so we decide to stop and investigate. We got out of the car and jumped over a fence that had a sort of walkway into the field through some trees. We entered one field and looked around and could see the orb was in the next field over, but the trees and bushes were far to dense to make it through to it, we stood and just watched for a while. I started to have a strange feeling and as I looked into a different field next to us I said to Dave "This feels weird, it's like we are in a farmers field and there should be some cows around or something." Within a second there was about 50 cows or more in the field next to us. We were feeling a bit tripped out from this and just chilled for a little while, then decided to go through the sort of walkway back towards the car. On the way there was a gate that you could view the whole field where the cows had appeared but there wasn't any cows anymore. Instead I looked across the field and saw about 9 humanoid beings about 30-40 yards away in some kind of white suits walking across the field in single line. I pointed it out to Dave and we watched them for a minute then one of them turned and looked at us. I felt like he was right in front of my face and then as clear as anything I heard a voice in my head saying "Fuck off, go away!" I turned to run away back through the trees and towards the car. At the same moment Dave did the same thing. We made our way and jumped over the fence and got back to the car. I asked Dave why he ran and he said he had a voice say to him "Fuck off" as well, exactly the same way I did. We then got in the car and drove home." As you can see Ricky's testimony largely matches what David described. The only real difference is that David did not mention the appearance of the cows in the field prior to them seeing the line of beings. I quizzed him about this and he says he cannot recollect this happening, but it was dark so perhaps did not notice them. (Continued in Part 2) Copyright Dave Hodrien 2020

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 24/10/2016 For anonymity reasons pseudonyms have been used Maria first got in contact with me via E-Mail in June 2016 asking for my thoughts and advice on a number of experiences she has had over the last few years. These experiences have many fascinating aspects and involve contact with both beings and craft, as well as other paranormal events. Learning Telepathy In 2013 Maria lived on Ferber Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado, with her mother Helen, stepfather Tom and sister Ella. One night in 2013 she was getting ready for bed. At her home she had a room in the basement with windows that let in light from outside. Maria has a fear of the dark, so as with most nights she left the TV and her Playstation on to provide a low source of light (as the home screen would just be white). She changed into her night clothes, lay down in bed and tried to settle down, but was feeling quite awake so knew it would take a while to sleep. Before dropping off she happened to look round the room and immediately saw a shadowy figure standing over by the far wall. It was about 5 feet tall, slender, with long thin arms and legs and an elongated oval-shaped head. No facial features were visible. The outline of the being was slightly blurred and it was semi-transparent. Maria interpreted this as some kind of cloaking device which it was using. Aerial map of Ferber Drive: Maria immediately felt that this being was an ET. She had had an interest in the UFO subject for many years. She knew that the being was not a ghost, and sensed that it was from very far away. She was initially shocked at the presence of the being, but then more curious. As she watched, the being walked across the room and came and stood alongside of the bed no further than 2 feet from her. Despite the situation she then instantly dropped off to sleep against her will. The next thing she became aware of she found herself in a place surrounded in glowing white light. In front of her about 7-8 feet stood the being she had seen in her room. However she was now able to see it fully. It was an unclothed Grey with green-brown coloured skin. In proportion to its head size its eyes were large and completely black. It had two small holes for a nose and a small line for a mouth. The Grey then began to speak to her telepathically. She knew this because its mouth did not move but she heard a female voice inside her head. It told her that it was her sister. Maria seemed to accept this like this was completely fine. It then said that it wanted to teach her anything she would like to know. Maria has had a fascination with telekinesis for many years, but for reasons unknown to her asked if it could teach her telepathy. In response to this the being showed her how to project her thoughts utilising the mind link that existed between her and it. It also taught her how to open her mind to hear the thoughts of others. It did warn her that she would have to be careful as others would be able to hear what she was thinking. This is all she remembered taking place when she awoke in the morning at 10am. Her recollection felt more vivid and real than a dream usually would. A little while after this experience Maria was out walking with her family while listening to loud music on her headphones. Suddenly she heard Tom call out for her, even though the music was too loud to be able to have heard him. At the same time she had a mental image of Ella in her mind. Her sister was further ahead on the path so she shouted out and asked her to slow down, then asked Tom what he wanted. He informed her that he hadn’t called her, but was about to, and that he was going to ask her to get her sister to slow down. It was as if she had had a premonition of what he was going to do! Soon after that she was in class sitting near to her best friend Amanda. Her friend was getting angry at people in the class being rude. In her mind, Maria told her to calm down, not attempting to direct her thoughts just thinking it. She looked over and noticed that Amanda now looked shocked and confused. Later on Maria asked her why she had looked that way. She said she had heard Maria’s voice in her mind telling her to calm down! After this they experimented to see if she could repeat what had happened. But this time Amanda left the room. Maria tried to send her a message. Amanda confirmed that again she had heard her but less clearly. This time she heard the word “Oh!” in her mind very faintly. Maria says that it has happened on other occasions since, sometimes with Amanda, sometimes with other friends. In 2015 Helen also confirmed that she had heard Maria’s voice in her mind. Maria was at school waiting to be picked up by her. When she arrived she informed her that she had heard her asking when she would get there and to hurry. These examples do suggest that Maria can sometimes project messages to other people, sometimes intentionally, sometimes not. Many contactees report possessing psychic abilities of one form or another. Perhaps the Grey she met with really did grant her this ability in the way that she remembers. Flesh Eater A number of weeks after her meeting with the Grey, Maria had a disturbing experience which she initially put down to a bad dream. She recalled waking up in the night and walking out of her bedroom. A Grey being approached her. It looked different to the being she had met previously. It was only about three foot high and was unclothed, had mottled brown and green-grey coloured skin. It was slender but could see muscle on its arms. Its head was almost round in shape with large black eyes and a wide jaw filled with small sharp teeth. The being told Maria that it was dying and that it need to eat some of her to live. She wanted to help the being so asked it whether this would hurt, how much it was going to eat and how fast it would take to heal. It replied “Well let me ask you this. Do you like your food?” It then lurched for her and bit her on her left hand. Maria grabbed the being’s head and began to hit it against the tiled floor. It was still attempting to attack her so she hit its head on the side of the coffee table. She blinked and noticed that the colour when she closed her eyes was blue instead of black. Intrigued she closed her eyes for longer. She was amazed to see lines of words she could not understand moving by very fast. Occasionally particular words would slow down for a brief moment and she would be able to read them. The only word she remembers seeing was “shakinah” or something similar. She awoke in bed and immediately remembered what had happened. She initially put it down to a dream, but when she checked her hand she could see what appeared to be teeth marks on it. However the markings did not look fresh, they were more like small scars. These scars are still visible today. There are 8 of them, some of which are almost 1cm in length. Maria feels sure that she had not injured her hand on the previous day. Soon afterwards she showed the scars to her best friend Amanda and told her what happened. She was concerned but could see that she was coping. Maria says that in July 2016 she finally told her parents about the incident. Tom seemed surprised and shocked by her revelations. Floating Across Room A couple of months later in 2013 Maria went to bed around midnight. She was lying in bed trying to get to sleep. She was finding this difficult as she could see shadowy forms moving around her room which she interpreted as intelligent and evil entities. She got the sense that they were waiting for something to happen. It was not the first time she had seen them in her room so did not feel the need to run away. Somehow she managed to drop off to sleep. During the night she abruptly woke up. She sensed that she had not been asleep for long. She watched as her blanket moved off her seemingly of its own accord. For some reason she was not frightened and remained very calm. She could move her head but is not sure whether her body was paralyzed or not. However she thinks not as she did unintentionally move her arm a bit. Maria then rose a foot off the bed. She says this felt like a force pushing her upward rather than pulling her. She then tilted forward until she was in a standing position alongside the bed but still floating in the air. She was then moved across the bedroom towards the closed door. When she reached it she slowly descended back down onto the concrete floor. When she touched the floor she was surprised to find that it wasn’t its usual cold temperature. She turned and looked around the bedroom and noticed that the TV was now off, even though she had dropped off to sleep with it on. At night she hangs blankets up over the windows as makeshift curtains. She could see a blinding white light coming into the room through these blankets, it was so bright that it was as if they were not there at all. She turned back around and tried to open the door by turning the knob, but for some reason it would not open. She pulled and pulled but no matter how hard she tried it would not move. It was like something was forcing it closed. She gave up and let go, and at this moment once more lifted up into the air several inches. She was turned around in the air and now noticed that the light was gone. Her body moved towards the bed, rotated into a lying down position, and then slowly descended back down onto the bed. The blanket then moved back onto her by itself. Against her will, she rolled over and dropped off to sleep. In the morning when she awoke she noticed that the TV was still off as she had seen during the night. She assumed the incident must have been a dream and soon put what had happened to the back of her mind. About a week went by, then her sister brought it up in conversation. She said that at about 1am she had heard Maria pulling on the door trying to get it open. Helen overheard their conversation and then informed Maria that she had heard her too! Her room is directly above where Maria sleeps. She informed her that after the noises stopped she then had a strong urge to go and check on her and Ella. She got out of bed and went downstairs. She first checked on Ella and found her asleep in her room. She then came and checked on Maria. She said that she noticed the TV was off, but that Maria appeared to be fast asleep like normal. Ghost Experiences Maria claims to have had encounters and communication with ghostly apparitions on numerous occasions. A long time before her family moved into the house on Ferber Drive, it had burnt to the ground and been rebuilt. Apparently two children died in the fire, a boy and his little sister. Maria says that she met with both of them while she lived at the house. The boy informed her of what had happened. They had been playing in the basement when the fire broke out and unfortunately when they tried to get out the stairs were already aflame. They tried the windows but there were heavy grates across them. He and his sister huddled in the corner until the house capsized on top of them. During the summer of 2012 Maria says that the little girl would appear in front of the door to her room night after night. The girl asked her to help her. Maria asked how she could help but the girl never responded. Also in the same property was another ghost which she named the “woman in the white dress”. Maria was the first to see her. She moved her belongings upstairs to share the room with her baby sister. Every night while in that room the door would open of its own accord. One night Helen stepped onto the hallway and noticed the door was open. She walked down the hall and firmly closed it. She then turned and started to walk back up the hall, but then remembered she had forgotten something. Turning back round she was surprised to see that the door was once again open. One night Maria awoke to find the door open like usual. She looked over at the baby’s crib and saw a lady dressed in a white nightgown, which looked like it was from the 19th century. This lady approached the crib. She looked into it, looked back up, and then walked through the wall. Maria believes that this lady was protecting the baby from darker entities. She feels that she must have lost her own baby. Tapping On 4th March 2014 Maria and her family moved to Texas. For 4 months they initially stayed with relatives close Canyon Lake on Scenic Drive. Maria and two of her sisters stayed at her great uncle’s house. One night she began to hear an intermittent tapping noise on the window right behind her head. It sounded like a nail tapping on it but when she turned and looked she could not see anything there. The window led to the inside of a covered porch, so the sound could not have been made by the wind or by vegetation knocking against it. She could think of no explanation for the noise, which deeply unsettled her. It continued for about 10 minutes before stopping. It would always be irregular and last for about the same length of time, but seemed to alter depending on which window she was sitting nearest. She also noted that whenever she left the TV on when she dropped off to sleep, she would awake to find it switched off. It is possible that these events were completely unrelated to the landed craft she had stepped aboard. Maybe the tapping was caused by something mundane, perhaps an echo from something else or temperature changes in the glass. And perhaps she would switch the TV off herself unknowingly during the night in her sleep. However one evening in May 2014 an incident which occurred which suggested otherwise. While living with their relatives, Maria’s parents were staying at her cousin’s house just along the road from where she was. Her mother, step father, cousin and her cousin’s husband were standing outside smoking at around 9pm. They looked down towards her great uncle’s house and saw a figure walk from the porch of the house around to the side. Her mother thought it must be one of her sisters trying to sneak out to go and meet up with one of her other cousins. She started to walk over to confront them but then saw her other cousins at their own porch. At this moment she realised the figure was not a family member. Deeply concerned, her relatives grabbed torches, bats and guns to defend themselves with and walked over to the house to look for the figure. They checked all around the property but couldn’t find anything. Craft Landing On the following night after the figure had been seen, Maria was up late watching a movie. Again like most nights she heard the tapping sounds for a short while which un-nerved her. She settled down to sleep around 2am. During the night (Maria believes between 3-4am) she suddenly awoke and felt the urge to walk to the tall grass covered field that lies alongside the yard of the property. It was like she was under control of some kind. She got out of bed in her nightgown, unlocked her door, walked barefoot out of the back door, across the yard and into the field. There waiting for her in the field about 30 feet away from her was a disc-shaped craft hovering about a foot off the ground. It was a dull metallic colour with no visible windows or lights. In the side of it was a six foot tall and two foot wide rounded-rectangular shaped doorway with glowing white light coming from within. The section of hull that would usually fill the doorway came down from the door to the ground to form a platform up into the craft. Alongside the doorway on the platform stood two Grey beings. They looked different to those she had seen in previous experiences. They were unclothed and had tan-yellow coloured skin. Their faces had large black eyes which “seemed to project intellect and kindness, yet also a little sadness”. Maria does not know why she felt this way when looking at them. She walked towards the craft and stopped about 10 feet away from it. One of the beings walked up to her and stopped about 3 feet away. It extended its hand towards her and she put her hand in its. It led her towards the craft and up the platform towards the door. Before stepping inside Maria turned round and looked back at the darkened field. She thought about her family and that she may never come back. In response to this thought, the Grey holding her hand telepathically told her that she would be back before she knew it. It slightly tugged at her hand to gesture for her to continue walking. She stepped into the glowing doorway. As she stepped inside she found that she was now in darkness. She looked behind her and realised the door had now closed. This was all she could remember taking place, she has no memory of what else happened aboard the craft. She awoke at 10am and recalled what had happened in the night. She also noted that her feet were a little sore, although not visibly marked. In addition to this she also found that her bedroom door was unlocked, even though she knew she had locked it before going to sleep. However she tried telling herself it must have been a dream. She did not tell her family about it, as she thought they too would just put it down to a dream, and if not would worry about it. It should be noted that part of this recollection only came about when discussing it with me. Up until then she had not recalled the being leading her back aboard the craft, only that it approached her. When thinking back to contact experiences it is common for those involved to remember additional details, especially if some of the memories have been seemingly blocked out. Sometimes merely talking about things can trigger recollections of entire experiences. Due to the fact that this incident occurred the following night after the figure was seen around the outside of the house, it could well be that the two are related. And as the figure was seen at the porch close to the window to Maria’s room, the tapping noises may also be related. It is hard to say for definite either way. Eye Pains About a month after the landing incident Maria’s family purchased a house on Shadow Lake Drive, San Antonio. One night she settled down to bed about 11pm. For several days she had been hearing strange noises coming from outside. Suddenly she heard a high pitched whistle sound, and then what sounded like something jumping over the six foot high fence into the yard right outside the window. She then saw two beings standing in her room. Like the Grey in her previous experience they appeared shadowy and semi-transparent like moving silhouettes. However they were at least 1 foot taller than before and their heads were not so elongated. Aerial map of Shadow Lake Drive: Suddenly one of the beings was standing right alongside her. It placed its hand onto her chest and then telepathically spoke to her, saying something she did not understand. At this moment she blacked out. When she awoke around 10am she felt that her left eye was sore. Whenever she looked in a direction it would send a shooting pain into her head. The following night she was lying awake at around 1am when she suddenly saw what appeared to be a glowing red light. It appeared that the light was emanating from inside of the eye which was causing pain! Her vision went all red for 2 seconds like she was looking through a camera lens. After this the red light went off but her vision was still a little blurred like she was looking through glass. She then felt like there was a presence inside her looking out through her own eyes. It then felt like it was beginning to look through her memories. This was all she could remember happening, so must have blacked out and fell asleep. She did not speak to her GP about what had happened as she felt they would not be able to find anything. A few days later her right eye started to hurt, this time even more than last time. That night she expected to see a red light switch on in that eye too, but instead felt an external force which was trying to make her drop off to sleep. She fought against it but in the end did drop off. Abduction Recollection On 21st June 2016 Maria had another flashback to an abduction, no doubt triggered by the fact that I had been speaking with her about her experiences. She recalled lying down on a black table in a circular black room. She was unable to move and felt like she was being held down by invisible straps. Alongside her stood a tan-yellow coloured Grey holding a metallic operation tool of some kind in its hand. The central part of the tool looked like a big syringe but it appeared to have other functions too. The being looked at her and then gently but firmly grabbed hold of her arm. It then injected her with something using the tool. She began to feel the heat of it spreading through her body. This was all she could remember of this experience. Conclusions Maria has had a variety of experiences, many of which are commonly reported by contactees. She has witnessed Greys and landed craft on numerous occasions so clearly seems to be experiencing contact. She has also indicated that she may possess psychic abilities, which is something commonly mentioned by contactees. However it should also be noted that she has had an interest in the UFO subject for a number of years prior to these experiences, and some of the incidents, particularly the flesh-eating being, have dream-like aspects to them. In this subject it is always good to remain subjective, while being open minded enough to accept that contact is a very real phenomenon. That said there have sometimes been other witnesses who have confirmed aspects of her experiences, or physical elements to them such as the markings on her hand. Maria has informed me that she will do some drawings and send a photograph of the markings, and that I may be able to get a statement off her best friend, so keep an eye out for updates to this report. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 16/05/2020 Sighting Details On a late morning in the early summer of 1996 Rachael Coney was visiting her father-in-law on a dairy farm he worked on near to Atherstone, Warwickshire. It was a very pleasant, still and sunny day. She was standing outside with him she suddenly had the urge to look up. When she did so she noticed a metallic silver coloured sphere overhead. It appeared to be at very high altitude and was reflecting the sunlight. It was hard to accurately judge its distance or size but if it was as high as it appeared to be it would have been quite large. The object was travelling along on a straight course moving left across the sky. Rachael tried to get the attention of her father-in-law but he was too busy working and did not look up. She watched it for about 5 seconds. Suddenly it shot up vertically and disappeared within a second! The speed of movement seemed extremely rapid and deliberate, and she was convinced it was under intelligent control. Racheal also believes that it drew her attention to it and this is why she had looked up and seen it in the first place. Rachael wonders if there were other witnesses of the same object due to the fact it was seen on a clear day with very little cloud in the sky. Sighting Analysis I have investigated quite a number of silver sphere sightings over the years. Although some of these incidents can of course be attributed to drifting silver coloured balloons, in other instances they are harder to explain. The sudden sharp movement of this object and apparent large size both suggest that it was something more unusual than a balloon or other inflatable. While it is possible for inflatables to be buffeted around by air currents, this would usually be localised, it is very unlikely that this would cause the object to accelerate massively in a vertical direction and be lost from sight. It was also clearly not a normal aircraft or helicopter due to its appearance. The object remains unexplained, though there is definitely the possibility it was making controlled and deliberate manoeuvres, and was therefore under intelligent control. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 06/01/2019 In this day and age, many people have camera-enabled mobile phones to hand when they witness UFOs. Despite this, the number of videos/photographs captured remains quite low. This is because in most cases the object is sighted for too short a period of time, is too distant, is moving too fast or because the individual is so transfixed by the sighting that they forget to start the camera in the first place. However sometimes footage is captured by the witness which supports their statement. This is one such case. Sighting Details On 23rd December 2018 Michael was visiting his friends Trish and Barbara on Fieldhead Close, Pontefract. They were sitting in the dining room having a late lunch. The room has a large South facing window. It was a very grey day outside, cold and still, with complete cloud cover. Every so often seagulls would swoop past the window. Aerial map of Fieldhead Close: At 2.37pm Michael noticed out of the corner of his eye what he initially thought were two gulls. Glancing towards the window, he watched as one of the birds quickly flew out of sight like usual. However the second one remained. He quickly realised that it was something else entirely. The object was situated towards the South East in the direction of Darrington, and was heading towards the house. It appeared to be at an altitude of approximately 1300-1500 feet. There was some kind of movement around the edges of the object, which is why it had initially appeared to be a bird. Michael leant forward to have a better look. He pointed the object out to Trish and Barbara exclaiming “What’s that up there?” The ladies also began to watch the object. Trish responded “I don’t know, what is that?” Barbara asked “Is that a helicopter?” Michael got up and approached the window. At this point he noted that the object was circular in shape. He could see it silhouetted against the sky. Confused by what he was looking at he exclaimed “That’s a sphere!” The ladies agreed, replying “Yeah it is!”. However the object then began to change and began to look more flattened in shape. Michael quickly realised that the object was a smooth disc which was constantly rotating on two axis. It also appeared to be very large in size. Michael estimated that it was approximately 100 metres across (the length of a football field). It was no more than 3 miles away from them but was definitely moving in their direction. After watching the object for about a minute, Michael opened the patio door and stepped outside. He then got out his Nokia 8110 camera phone and began to record the object. As it got closer to within a mile of the house, it began to turn. As it turned it began to reflect the light differently and he realised it was metallic in colour. Witness drawing of the UFO: The object continued to turn on a smooth arc until it was heading South towards Carleton. Michael filmed it until he felt it could not longer be seen by the camera. He, Trish and Barbara then continued to watch it until it had vanished from sight into the distance still performing the same rotating motion. In total the sighting had lasted for about 3 minutes. Aerial map showing the estimated path of the UFO: Later in the day Michael checked on the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire radar tracking website www.donnyradar.co.uk to see if the object had been recorded. However the site only shows live tracking, it does not allow you to view tracking information from a previous date or time. In early January I contacted Trish and Barbara via phone to discuss the sighting. Below are their statements. Trish: “It was a very grey sky. The object was like a cylinder or round thing. It wasn’t anything like anything we would normally see. We are used to seeing helicopters and planes in the sky, this was quite different. It was clearly under control rather than drifting. I’m not sure if it was rotating or not. I watched it for about a minute before returning to my dinner.” Barbara: “It was quite a way off and looked and moved funny. It definitely wasn’t a helicopter, plane or bird. It didn’t move like a helicopter and had no lights on it. One minute it was round and then it looked more like a cylinder. It appeared like it was rotating. It didn’t look like what a balloon would do. It looked like it was under control rather than drifting. It remained in our sight for quite a while. I watched it for about 2-3 minutes, maybe longer.” Video Analysis Below is the 1 minute 48 second long video which Michael filmed of the UFO: At various points through the footage you can hear him speaking with Trish. The transcript for this is as follows: T: I don't know. T: In't one of them drones is it Michael? M: No...What is that? Don't...I'm not sure if it's picking it up. M: It's about there, so we should get that there. M: Don't think it's picking it up. Unfortunately, as you can see from the footage, the object is too distant to be clearly picked up by the camera. It is definitely something, but sadly due to the quality of the phone camera and the distance of the UFO not much detail can be made out. Below is the best still of the object that I can obtain, a zoomed image of it, and a zoomed highlighted image of it. The still is taken from Michael’s first attempt to zoom in on the object with his camera at 25 seconds into the footage. I believe the dark patch to the lower right of the object is just caused by pixellation. Despite the low sharpness it is possible to make out light catching the edge of the object, suggesting the shape of a curved disc as Michael described. This also suggests that the object has a reflective surface which would fit with the metallic description given. Sighting Analysis This is an interesting sighting with lots of aspects worth discussing. Due to the fact there were multiple witnesses and the video recording it is clear that there was definitely an object of some kind present in the sky. It was clearly not a normal aeroplane, helicopter or drone of any kind. It could not have been a meteorite because of the length of the sighting and turn it performed. And with its unusual rotation motion and daylight flight over populated areas it is unlikely that it was some kind of secret military aircraft. Although the object appeared black throughout most of the sighting, Michael feels sure that the object was metallic silver in colour due to the way it caught the light as it turned, as indicated by the still from the video footage. He has been employed as a welder so is familiar with how metal appears in different lighting conditions. If it was indeed a mundane object, the most likely explanation would be a large inflatable or balloon. However there are a number of points which suggest this was not the case. It could not have been a solar airship, as these are cylindrical not disc-shaped. Michael has previously served as a Royal Marine for a number of years and is familiar with identifying aircraft at distance. When I suggested that the object may have been an inflatable drifting on air currents, Michael said that the rotation and turn that it performed were far too smooth and continuous to have been caused by drift. He certainly believes the object was under intelligent control. He is also convinced that the object was at least a hundred metres in size, which would put a novelty balloon and most advertisement inflatables out of the question. Although it is possible to mis-judge distance and therefore size of objects in the sky, due to Michael’s military background I feel the chance of this is greatly reduced. It is a shame that the camera was unable to capture a more clearly defined image of the UFO. However if it was as large as it appeared to be and was under direct control then I feel this could well be a genuine sighting of an advanced craft, perhaps of extra-terrestrial origin. Due to the length of the sighting it is possible that other people may have also witnessed the object who are yet to come forward. I will keep you informed of any further developments. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 22/05/2020 Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Sighting Details Early on the afternoon of 6th May 2020, Simon was having a BBQ with his partner Nicky and family Frank, Tim and Emma in the garden of his house on Bean Road, Dudley. It was a very clear, warm and sunny day. He was getting a bag of coals when he happened to glance to the East in the direction of Birmingham. He noticed a reflective object at very high altitude which was catching the sun’s rays and shining brightly. It was definitely present but due to the distance was only sometimes visible. The object appeared to be above Birmingham city centre. It seemed to be moving very slowly in a Northern direction. Simon pointed it out to his family and then began attempting to record the object on his mobile phone camera. His partner also tried recording it on her phone. Unfortunately due to the distance he was finding it very hard to see the object on the footage, but could see it twinkling with his naked eye. While he tried zooming in Nicky mentioned that she could see two objects instead of one, however Simon was unable to see this. Later while filming Emma said she could see the object spinning, again something Simon could not see himself. After a while he stopped filming as it was obvious his camera was not picking it up. After watching it for a further few minutes, the object flashed and vanished, but when it reappeared a moment later it was much further across to the left in the sky, almost like it had moved a couple of miles Northward in a brief moment! It then flashed one more time and vanished permanently. Simon pointed out that about half an hour later an aeroplane flew over at a lower altitude than the object had been at, but travelling on the same course from South to North. Video Footage Unfortunately Simon has not been able to correctly send me either of the pieces of video footage he and his partner shot. Currently when he tries to upload his video off his phone, only the audio works. He is the process of working out how to send me a working version, however he does not believe the object has been captured on it. He is in the process of obtaining the other video for me, which he believes may show it at one point. Below is a transcript of the audio of his video footage. It’s worth pointing out that the witnesses were having a few drinks at the time, which has led to an over-reaction to what was being observed in some regards. However it’s obvious that there was something present in the sky. S: I'm just gonna carry on. F: That's what we thought. S: I don't know how to zoom in, how do you bloody zoom in on this? Did you see it then Nicky? N: Yeah. S: It just went really bright. There we are, it's there again now right above the chimney tops. N: How big is...oh yes! I can see it now. E: Oh I can, yeah. N: Is it an aeroplane? S: No it's not an aeroplane baby. E: Where's it gone? N: It's gone. S: I can tell you now, it's not an aeroplane man. N: It's back there again look look look! E: Oh there it is! S: Oh look now it's even brighter. F: Where? N: There' right on top of them chimneys. S: Above the chimneys. N: It's fading away again now. S: There it is! See it? F: No. S: Do you see it right above the chimneys. Not a foot above the chimneys. E: Right on top of them two chimneys there. S: How you doing Tim? We're just filming a UFO above the house. It's miles away, if you get back here you might be able to see it, it’s right up there. E: It's a little white star type thing Tim. S: But it just flashes on and off. T: No can't see nothing. E: I couldn't at first but I did see it. T: Right. S: We've all seen it now apart from you Frank but your eyesight's shit. Here we are, there it is again! T: Where? S: It moved! N: Where? S: There it is again just to the left of the chimney tops. Just to the left of the chimneys. N: I can see but I don't know how to zoom in. I'm recording. F: Where? S: Ssh go and sit down Frank. F: No I can see a flying saucer. T: Where, where can you see a flying saucer? E: Where? S: Where can you see a flying saucer? You're just drunk. Sit...sit down Frank. E: Sit down. S: There it is again! Look! E: Oh god yeah! S: See? E: Oh shit yeah! S: See N: Is it an aeroplane Emma? E: No. I can see it! S: It's glowing, it's glowing bright and then going dark isn’t it? Here you are, it's going bright again look. It's going bright again now. Just blinked! F: I see something! S: Yeah. You see it Frank? N: You see it Frank? S: That's a god damn UFO that is! E: Sure it ain't a satellite? S: No, positive. F: It's a BO7. S: Satellites move across the sky, that's just hovering. E: That's staying still. S: That's just hovering mate. N: It's back! It's not an aeroplane as it wouldn't have just one light. E: No it wouldn't. It would have two on the ends wouldn't it? One on the back. S: God how do you zoom in on this? N: Here hold this a minute, I'll show you Simon, show me. S: I've done it! N: You've done it? I know how to zoom in on mine. S: I've done it. E: How do you zoom in on mine Nik do you know? Do you know? S: Right. E: How do you zoom in, I think you touch the screen don't you? N: Yeah bring the screen in I think. S: No, bring it out. E: Out? S: Pinch your fingers, bring 'em out. F: Don't you use the screen? S: Frank will you be quiet please? F: Don't you think it's fairies you can see? S: Frank! F: What? S: Will you sit down and be quiet please? I'm going to put this on the internet. You know what I mean? F: You took a photo of the fairies! E and N: (Laughing) N: Such a septic in' he babe? S: Yeah you're right, he is septic. M: He's septic in' he babe? S: Yeah absolutely septic. N: Septic. Septic. S: Well. N: Whatever, there's something there. We've all seen it now, can't say we're lying! E: I've seen something spinning. S: Spinning? N: I dropped my beer down me! E: I saw it go down that I did, with the light on. S: Yeah? E: Yeah when I seen it. N: She's got better eyesight than us babe. S: You've got better eyesight than me. N: She's got really good distance eyesight. S: When was that, when I was recording it? N: Yeah. S: Right. Sighting Analysis It’s clear that there was something present in the sky which was probably metallic or white in colour causing it to reflect the sunlight. It seemed to be moving too slowly to be a distant aircraft. It would be easy to dismiss this sighting as a reflective inflatable of some kind, but this would not explain the most unusual aspect of the incident – how the object seemingly jumped position in the sky in a matter of moments. If the object really had performed this manoeuvre this would surely mean it was something out of the ordinary? But there is another possibility. Maybe there were two objects in the sky, one of which was angled in a way that wasn’t reflecting light until towards the end of the sighting. And by pure coincidence the initial object stopped reflecting just before the second object did. While this seems improbable it can still not be put out of the question. I have checked online to see if I could find any possible explanation for what was seen but have so far not found anything. As with many distant UFO sightings it is hard to comment further on what was observed, and it therefore currently remains unexplained.
