Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 09/02/2012 Last Updated: 09/12/2024   This report covers an orange orb sighting experienced by a couple from Coventry on an unknown date. The details were provided by the brother of the male witness, Mr J. Sturch, while discussing some other incidents he directly experienced. Links to reports on these incidents can be found near the end of this report. Only limited details are known at present as I lost contact after receiving the initial details.   Sighting Details   One evening Mr Sturch’s brother was on his way out of the house in Coventry. It was around 8pm. He stepped outside to wait for his fiancée. While he waited he looked up into the night sky. It was now that he noticed a big glowing orange ball of light. The object was completely stationary and silent.   Puzzled by what it could be, he watched the object for several minutes. His fiancée came outside and joined him. He told her to look up and see what he had been watching. She immediately stated that it was probably a helicopter. But he pointed out that there was no noise coming from it. She then said it must be a plane of some kind, but again he thought otherwise due to the colour and fact that it was not moving.   While they continued to watch, a jet approached on the landing path for Coventry airport, which was about 2-3 miles from his house. The jet flew right above the UFO, proving that it was at a lower altitude. It still continued to hover motionless. Then a short while later, it suddenly shot away at an incredible speed! In that moment both witnesses realised they had seen something very unusual indeed.   Aerial map of Coventry Airport Mr Sturch says that his brother is a level-headed guy and would not have made this story up. Usually orange orbs of light seen after dark turn out to be nothing more than Chinese lanterns. However due to the manoeuvres witnessed, this object was clearly not a lantern or LED balloon.   The fact that it hovered motionless for a number of minutes, then instantly accelerated at a very fast speed fits in with many other UFO sightings. It suggests that the object was clearly under control, and that it possessed advanced flight capabilities. Most mundane explanations do not adequately explain what was observed.   Sighting Analysis As there were two witnesses, it was clearly present in the sky. The object could not have been a distant aeroplane as it remained stationary for a number of minutes. It was certainly not a helicopter due to the lack of normal navigation lights, lack of sound, and speed of movement when it began moving. Drones were not commercially available at the time of the sighting. It could not have been a meteorite as these are only seen for a brief moment. It is very unlikely to have been an earth light, as these do not suddenly fly off extremely fast, and are rarely observed over urbanised areas. Therefore, with these alternatives eliminated, I feel that the object was likely to be an advanced craft, possibly of ET origin. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 09/02/2012 Last Updated: 09/12/2024   Introduction   In January 2012 I was contacted by Mr J. Sturch from Shard End in Birmingham. He wished to report three separate incidents which had happened to him and his brother – an encounter with a mysterious being during his childhood, a sighting of a white spherical UFO which he had in August 2011, and a previous sighting by his brother of an orange glowing orb. This report covers the being sighting. Links to the other reports can be found near the end.   Unfortunately the witness did not get back in touch so we only have his initially provided details to go on, hence the lack of certain pieces of information, including specific location of this event.   Encounter Details   This experience occurred around 1981 when Mr Sturch was 9-10 years old and still at junior school. It was bonfire night, 5th November. He and his parents had been round to the neighbour’s house to enjoy a bonfire and fireworks with them. There was a boy named Phillip who lived next door and was the same age. After his parents decided to return home, Phillip came back with him and they went to sit on the back door step to watch other fireworks going off in the neighbourhood.   Example photograph of fireworks display They would often like to play tricks on an older boy who lived in the house that backed onto the house. They used to shine their torches into his bedroom window as they knew he would be in bed by a certain time. They shined the torches down to the base of the back garden, and immediately got the fright of their lives! At the base of the garden was a two metre high standard wooden fence, and raised area with a pile of cut hedging. When they shone the torches, the beams suddenly shone directly onto a large black humanoid figure crouching on top of the fence!   Mr Sturch questions his memory of the exact appearance of this figure. For many years he recalled that it reminded him of Zorro from the TV series. However as he got older and started to look more into the paranormal, he likened the being to the creature out of the movie The Mothman Prophecies, and later the Chupucabras. What he does remember is that the creature was jet black in colour with large red eyes that were staring directly at them. The figure was positioned like it was walking along the top of the fence and had turned to look at them. It was much larger than a cat, and reminded him more of a man crouching down.   Both the boys reeled back with fright so hard that they pushed open the back door directly behind them. They got back up off the kitchen floor and ran through into the living room. There they hysterically told J. Sturch’s parents what they had seen. While Phillip was laughing with shock, he was crying with the fear of what they had just witnessed. His dad got hold of an old pickaxe handle from the closet and ran outside to see whether the creature was still there. He searched all the bushes at the base of the garden but whatever it was had now gone.   His dad came back into the house and asked the boys to come round next door to tell Phillip’s father what they had seen. They did so, and then searched the back garden of Phillip’s house too. After finding nothing, the two fathers then went round several other houses to try and find what the boys had seen, but nobody else had seen anything.   Many years later Mr Sturch bumped into an old acquaintance from an old place of work. He was interested in the paranormal so Mr Sturch decided to tell him about what he had seen. He expected him to laugh it off and say it must have just been a cat or dog. But instead he informed Mr Sturch that his mother had seen something very similar in appearance! He said that one day she was washing the dishes and looked out of the kitchen window at the lawn outside. There on the grass was a large black creature with big red eyes staring right back at her! She was scared and ran out of the kitchen. When she returned the creature had gone. Mr Sturch was happy to hear that someone else had seen what sounded like the same thing. To this day he still wonders about what he saw that evening Encounter Analysis What could the strange creature have been? While it seems unlikely that it was a cat or dog due to the shape, size and red eyes, perhaps it was a big cat such as a black panther which had escaped from somewhere. These are agile and so would be able to walk along the top of a fence, much like domestic cats are often seen to do. Mr Sturch does not put this possibility out of the realms of possibility.   However he does say that it appeared much more humanoid in shape. Bonfire night is only five days after Halloween. If the creature was seen at ground level the possibility that it was someone in a Halloween costume would have been suggested, however it is unlikely that someone wearing a suit would be able to balance on the top of the garden fence.   Maybe the creature really was something out of the ordinary. There are not many ET sighting reports which match, however I have both heard of and directly investigated cases where beings in skin tight black suits have been seen (Click here to go to one such report). Also the description of the creature’s eyes immediately remind me of the Varginha incident in Brazil, where a number of brown coloured Grey-like beings were seen by villagers after a UFO crash and then promptly captured live by the military. These beings apparently had large oval shaped red eyes. There are many reported sightings of ghostly black dogs with red eyes, could this have been the explanation? Whatever it was, it certainly appears to have been unusual, and the fact that it was seen by two witnesses means that it was definitely present and not just their imagination. The story he was told later could well have been another sighting of the same type of being.   Unfortunately Phillip later died in an accident, so we only have Mr Sturch’s testimony to go on. Robbie was in his flat in Rubery. He lives on the first floor so has a good view from the living room window out over Worcestershire to the South. He was sitting on the sofa and staring out of the window.   Aerial map of Rubery Just before 10pm he suddenly noticed an orange glow in the sky. He could see a glowing object hovering above a nearby field to the South West of his location. It appeared to be a sphere, glowing an orange/blue-white colour. It appeared to be at quite low altitude. Robbie quickly ran and grabbed his video camera and began filming the object using its night vision setting.   The object passed over a hedge and descended down into a field. It moved across the field and then started to ascend again, passing over the high street. It then went behind some trees and was lost from sight for several seconds. It then reappeared rising above the trees, before moving towards his location.   It approached and passed over the roof of his flat out of sight, moving in a North Easterly direction. The movement was smooth and swift. In total he had watched the object for several minutes.   Sighting Analysis   Unfortunately the witness failed to send me the video footage to examine. However the appearance of the object and its manoeuvring capabilities both point towards this sighting potentially being of a sky lantern. These tend to have an orange amber glow, although sometimes their brightness means the colour is not always clear, especially at distance. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2011 Last Updated 28/11/2024   On 21st January 2011 BUFOG was contacted by an anonymous individual who reported that he and a number of other witnesses had observed a lit triangular shaped UFO while waiting in traffic caused by a recent car crash. This report covers the incident and follow up investigation. The witness did not get back in touch so we only have the initial details provided by them.   Incident Details   At 11.55pm on Thursday 20th January 2011 the key witness was driving South along Albert Road in Quinton, Birmingham, travelling back home from his mother’s house with three passengers in the car. As they approached the crossroads between Albert Road and Castle Road West they found that an accident had recently occurred ahead of them and the road was blocked off.   They turned the car around, drove back up North, then headed South East along Wolverhampton Road before turning onto and heading West along Castle Road West.   Unfortunately when they reached the crossroads they found that they were once again blocked as the crash had occurred on the crossroads itself. While waiting in the traffic the key witness grabbed his mobile phone and took a short video.   Soon after stopping the recording he and the three passengers in the car observed a large triangular shaped craft travelling in a South East East direction towards Weoley Castle. It had a white light at each corner, and a pulsing red light at the centre of the base.   A short time after the police arrived at the scene of the crash, the craft greatly increased in speed and departed from the area in an instant!   Video Analysis   The key witness provided a short phone recorded video of the car crash from their position in the traffic. The witness believes that this video may have captured the UFO prior to it being spotted by him and the others in the car.   Below is a link the video footage the witness provided:   https://youtube.com/shorts/_5BKCiB5vlo At both 2 and 7 seconds into the video a small orb of light can be made out in the sky at the upper right corner. Below are stills of these two moments, with the orb ringed: However I believe that in both cases the “orb” can be explained as lens flare. The orb at 2 seconds is likely to be a lens flare from a nearby car headlight on the right which can briefly be viewed through the driver side window. It appears only when this light is most visible in the footage when not being shielded by the frame of the windscreen:   The orb at 7 seconds appears at the same moment that one of the blue police lights ahead starts to flash, and then gets brighter and dimmer several times at the same speed as the change in brightness of this light:   Therefore I do not believe the video footage shows the object the key witness described seeing.   Police Contact   I decided to get in touch with West Midlands Police via the net to see if anyone present at the crash reported seeing the same object as the key witness. Below is my message to them which I sent at 6.41pm on 21st January 2011:   Good evening, Not sure what my rights are regarding information from the police but I think this is the right address to send this to - if not please forward. I am the Chairman of the Birmingham UFO Group (BUFOG). We investigate UFO reports from around the Birmingham area as well as further afield. At around 11.55pm on Thursday 20th January I was sent some information via our group's website from an anonymous individual. They informed me that at around 7.30pm there was a bad car accident at the cross over of Castle Rd West and Albert Rd, Quinton, Birmingham. They were nearby and moments later they (and 3 other witnesses) saw a large black triangular shaped craft with white lights and a pulsing red light underneath moving in the direction of Weoley Castle. As the police reached the scene of the crash, the craft apparently accelerated at massive speed and flew away from the area. I am wondering if the police had any calls reporting this object, or if the drivers involved in the crash also saw it (Was this the reason behind the crash in the first place?) I know you probably can't give me contact details of anyone, but has anyone reported this object to you or did any of the police who turned up at the scene of the crash see it? If so please can you send whatever details you are allowed to share? If you wish to forward my details on to anyone so they can get in touch directly then this is absolutely fine. Thanks for any assistance on this matter.   I received an official response from Sandwell Policing Unit at 7:49am on 22nd January 2011:   David, Thank you for the email to West Midlands Police due to data protection police are not able to give you any information reference your email sent on Friday 21 Jan 2011. Thank you Sandwell Local Policing Unit   Incident Conclusions   The object described by the key witness certainly sounds like a “Flying Triangle”, one of the more commonly reported types of craft. I have investigated other cases of objects with identical shape and lighting configurations before, and this lighting does not fit with any known civilian or military aircraft. The majority of aircraft have white, red and green static lights and a white strobing light, as shown by the below diagram:   Unfortunately at this time of my investigative life I did not have access to Flight Radar 24, which could have confirmed whether there were any aircraft with transponders in the vicinity at the time. However the speed at which the object apparently left the area is another fascinating aspect which makes it highly unlikely to have been a normal aircraft.   This incident occurred before drones were commercially available so I do not believe a drone could have been responsible. The fact that the object had numerous lights on which remained in formation with one another even when it shot away suggests it was not a number of LED balloons drifting on an air current.   It is a shame that the video footage the key witness took did not show the object, as footage of it moving across the sky and then suddenly greatly accelerating away would have been fascinating to watch. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 19/11/2024   On the morning of 16th November 2024 I was contacted by a man named Shaun who had been working on a house in Castle Vale, Birmingham. He had just witnessed two black coloured UFOs for a number of minutes. This report goes over the sighting in depth.   Sighting Details   At around 11.28am Shaun was working the rear of a property on a side road of garages off Renfrew Square. It was a dry and mild but cloudy morning, with a strong breeze blowing. A large flock of seagulls situated in the sky visible over a cream-coloured block of flats to the East of his location caught his eye and he looked up at them. He then realised there was a larger object in the centre of the flock.   Initially he thought it was a very large seagull or other bird, but shortly realised it was much too sizeable for this. He also realised there were in fact two objects, identically sized. The objects were positioned one behind the other and heading Eastward away from him in the sky visible above the roof of a nearby block of flats on Turnhouse Road.   They appeared to be curved arrowhead shaped and jet black in colour, with no visible markings. Shaun stated that they looked “rubber-like in appearance and shiny like a diver’s wetsuit.”  They looked to be quite large, Shaun estimates about the size of a single decker bus (approximately 40 feet). They seemed to be a bit higher up than a patrol helicopter would fly at, maybe around 600 feet up.   The objects were not flat but instead had depth to them. They were travelling on a level and straight course at a slow speed, seemingly around 20 mph. As he watched them he realised they were rotating slowly anti-clockwise. But before they rolled right over they started to tip back the other way. This side to side rotation continued, almost as if the objects were trying to right themselves. He walked to the end of the side road to get a better look.   A minute later a lady came out of a house several doors away. He called over to her “Can you see that?”  pointing out the objects. She replied “Yes! What is it? Oh, there’s two of them!”  A moment later she was joined by her son. She pointed the UFOs out to him but he didn’t seem that interested and got into his car. The lady continued to watch for about 30 seconds before also leaving.   After a short while Shaun lost his view of the objects behind the roof of the block of flats due to the angle. He walked along Renfrew Square to the T-junction with Turnhouse Road to see the sky from a different angle and continue watching them.   The objects were not rotating continuously. They would rotate a while, then level out, then start rotating again. This pattern continued for the duration of the sighting, which lasted about 4-5 minutes. Despite having a camera phone on him he sadly was too transfixed by the objects to get it out and start filming them. He informed me it is an older model Motorola and the camera is not particularly good on it, so they may not have been captured very well even if he had tried.   Sighting Analysis   The objects seen in this incident were obviously quite an unusual shape, and were clearly not normal aircraft or drones of any kind. In addition to the odd appearance, I also confirmed on Flight Radar 24 that there were no aircraft with transponders in the vicinity at the time of the sighting: Hand gliders are less curved than the shape drawn by the key witness, and also would not tip from side to side in the manner that was described. These aspects also put hot air balloons out of the question.   However I do wonder if the objects were some two large and black coloured novelty balloons drifting on air currents. The wind at the time of the sighting was facing Eastward, which is the direction the objects were travelling, as confirmed by the below weather screenshot:   Shaun said that the objects looked much too big to be balloons, but did not put this explanation out of the question, as it was hard to tell exactly how far away the objects were, so therefore hard to accurately judge their size.   I have found the two below black balloons online which are a little reminiscent of the shape described and drawn by the witness, though not identical:   However both of these balloon examples are normal sized novelty balloons, it seems extremely unlikely that these particular balloons could be mistaken for something the size of a bus. That said, novelty balloons of some kind does seem to be the most likely explanation at this point in time, although a more unusual explanation cannot be entirely ruled out.   Due to their slow speed it is entirely possible that there were other witnesses who are yet to come forward. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2011 Last Updated: 19/11/2024   Early Memories   Deborah claims to have memories from a very early age, as the following testimony confirms.   “I remember being an infant, not long after I was born, lying on my back in cot with a row of brightly coloured, fuzzy objects strung across above me. Beyond them were the fuzzy figures of people looking in at me. Everything was fuzzy and I felt very disorientated. I was trying to communicate with them, but I could not co-ordinate anything. My mouth would not make the right sounds and my body would not do what I wanted it to do.”   In her childhood Deborah felt that she was somehow different to the rest of her family. This even led to a phase where she would ask her mother on various occasions if she was adopted. At age five she started school but found it very hard to fit in. She could not relate to the other children well, and was told on numerous occasions that she was very mature for her age.   As she got older she realised that she was different in many ways to the other members of her family, and that these early feelings had been correct. This is commonly reported by repeat experiencers, and suggests that their connection with the NHIs (Non Human Intelligences) extends to much more than just contact.   A Visitation   In the autumn of 1960, potentially mid-October, when Deborah was just three years old she experienced a visitation by numerous types of beings. At present this is the only definite contact experience involving beings that she is aware of, though it is possible that she has had more since which have been blocked out of her mind. Back then she lived in a house on Woodward Close in Pershore, Worcestershire with her parent, two sisters and brother.   It was night time and as usual she had been put to bed around 6pm. She shared the bedroom with her older sister, but on this particular night she was staying over at her grandmother’s house, so Deborah was alone in the room.   In the early hours of the morning she remembers sitting up in bed and finding the whole room bathed in a bright white light that appeared to be coming in through the bedroom window. The light was blinding and it seemed to her that the window no longer existed.   Even though she was only three years old Deborah feels that it was between 3.30-4am. One of the main reasons she feels this is that ever since this experience she has regularly woken up at this time, and for much of her life this was accompanied by extreme fear, although in more recent years this feeling of dread has gone away.   A tall male humanoid figure stepped forward out from the light into the room. Immediately her mind was flooded with euphoric feelings – she was completely at ease about the presence of the being and actually felt good. She felt that her body no longer belonged to her. She also became aware that she was completely paralysed like she was in a trance of some kind.   When I asked Deborah about the appearance of this being she said “He was very tall, slim and wearing a long cloak with a hood. He also seemed to be wearing a long tunic down to his feet with some kind of belt around it. The fabric had a sheen to it like silk. Colours were difficult to see because the light was so bright and his silhouette quite dark but there did seem to be a silvery-blue quality to it.”   Initially the figure had his hood up so his facial features were hard to see. But he then reached up and took the hood down. However, Deborah says that it was still difficult to make out his face in great detail.   “His hair seemed to be fair with the light shining through it, but it was short, with a definite curl, more like a Greek statue. His features gave the impression of that European ‘ideal type’. I’m not certain that this is truly what he looked like or if my mind filled in the gap because of his hair. There was something kind of transparent and unreal about it. Also there was something kind of leaden and unanimated about him. He moved his arms to remove the hood and that was it. Otherwise he did not move at all. He almost seemed quite sad, like he didn’t really want to be doing what he was doing.”   As she watched she then saw several much smaller beings run from behind the tall being into the room.   Regarding their description, Deborah says “Monkeys were the nearest thing I’d seen to what they looked like at that point. They were probably about the same size as I was but skinnier and spindlier. They were dark in colour, a dark grey, but they had quite pointy elongated skulls and I’m quite sure they had tails.   They didn’t have fur but they were very bony like a Mexican hairless cat. And their skin was quite tough and textured like a lizard or a tortoises legs. Not as rough and spiked as, say, a crocodiles back but kind of half way between a snake and a tortoises legs. They had very long fingers, small pointy ears, very ugly little faces. They were not in the least bit cute. They had very small mouths, and relatively large black eyes. There was none of appealing, childlike quality of ‘ET’ or the little beings in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. In fact they looked quite vicious, like they could give you a really nasty bite.   As they ran it was more like the way a monkey runs than a human does. A funny hunched over scurrying.”   The short beings jumped up onto the bed around her. One of them on her left was particularly close and she could see it had small needle-like teeth in its mouth. They disappeared behind her and then she saw them touching the side of her face and felt them doing something to the back of her neck, though she could not turn to look at them.   Regarding this procedure Deborah says “It was like an icy coldness all down my back. It started at my neck and then it was like icy cold claws digging in all the way down my spine. I was aware of fingers moving right by my left eye. I was able to roll my eyeballs sideways and see fingers, but whether they were the source of the icy coldness I do not know. It felt more like some kind of cold, metallic instrument. At this point I do not recall any pain.”   At the same time as being in the state of euphoria she was also repulsed by the idea of these small beings interacting with her. The tall being then projected a thought directly into her mind. She sensed that it was from her ‘real’ home and that all would be explained to her if she stayed still and co-operated with what was taking place. Deborah believed what the being told her and trusted that it meant well.   She has no idea how long this went on for or how it ended, this part of the experience is currently blocked out. Nor can she recall the following morning or whether she spoke with any of her family about what happened. She says that even if she did they would have put it down to her imagination or a bed dream.   Life went on as normal after the experience, but part of her still waited for the explanation that never came. She was traumatised by what had taken place for many years.   When she was older she decided to revisit the experience. She asked herself “What if this being was lying? What if they were able to induce a euphoric state in order to manipulate you into compliance with something you would not otherwise accept?” With the acceptance of this possibility, Deborah was able to get past the trauma of the experience and move on with her life.   It is very probable that this experience was a visitation by NHIs. Humanoid beings, often referred to as Nordics, are regularly reported, and are often seen wearing hooded robes.   The shorter beings are much more unusual. They could have been a species very rarely experienced, or could well have been Greys using a screen memory to partially mask their true appearance. Certainly some aspects fit with this, including their short slender body frame and black coloured eyes. Usually when both Nordics and Greys are seen, the Greys are the beings who perform manual tasks while the Nordics stand watch over the proceedings or speak to the experiencer, just as Deborah describes.   The light which filled the room was probably from a craft in the vicinity. The beings then came through the wall into the bedroom. The paralysis during the experience and strange feelings of euphoria have both been commonly described by contactees during many other cases. The short beings appeared to then do something to the back of Deborah’s neck.   Other experiencers have reported having procedures performed on this area. Usually the beings perform this type of procedure actually on board a craft, however there are a number of cases where they have worked on experiencers right where they are located rather than abducted them. It is possible that after this point Deborah was abducted but the memories of this have been lost. We can only speculate what this could have been – perhaps they were checking or putting in an implant.   Deborah has suffered with chronic pain for much of her life which is very reminiscent of the icy coldness she felt down her neck and back during the experience. Her doctor has put this pain down to fibromyalgia, but Deborah is convinced that it is at least partially linked to what took place in her childhood. She says that the pain around her neck and shoulder area has become notably less intense since she released some of the emotional trauma around this experience by discussing it in depth with me during the investigation.   This would be a fascinating experience to explore under hypnotic regression, and I feel that further details may well be revealed from this if it is a route that Deborah decides to take. She informs me that she has been regressed before but not specifically about this incident. Her mind travelled immediately to what happened under hypnosis, but the regressive hypnotherapist she went to see did not believe it was contact related and dismissed the details which came forward as being caused by sleep paralysis, false awakening and possibly a natural screen memory to block something else traumatic which occurred.   I disagree with this explanation. While there are some aspects which would fit sleep paralysis, Deborah was initially unparalysed as she was able to sit up in bed. Also there are many aspects which link this with contact and a genuine visitation experience, I have investigated many other similar cases before. Additionally, Deborah says that she has actually experienced sleep paralysis   Communication with Grandpa   Deborah often used to spend her weekends round her grandparents. When she was six years old her grandfather unfortunately passed away. She went round to keep her grandmother company. While she was there she went out to play in the shed where her grandfather used to often work.   As she played she became aware that his presence was there next to her. Deborah knew that he was not there in the physical sense but still existed in a different form. She had a whole conversation with him just as they had always done. Afterwards she went and told her grandmother but unfortunately she did not believe her and became very angry with her.   Experiencers often seem to possess highly developed senses and psychic abilities, so although this was clearly not ET related it is still relevant indirectly.   Information from Elsewhere?   At seven years old, Deborah watched a program on ancient Egypt. A picture of the great pyramid was shown and the commentator spoke about how old it was. At this moment Deborah felt a strange tingling sensation throughout her body, and was aware that the commentator was incorrect. She knew that the pyramids were much older than what was being stated.   Later in the program the Sphinx was being discussed. Again Deborah felt the tingling sensation and somehow knew that the Sphinx should actually have the head of a lion.   When she was older she read about some Geologists who believed exactly what she had known all those years ago – that the sphinx was much older than had been commonly accepted, and that it may have originally had the head of a lion which was later modified. Does she or the NHIs she is in contact with have a link with ancient Egypt? Had she been granted this knowledge and seeing the TV program about it somehow triggered what she knew? Could her feelings have been down to a premonition of what she would later come to understand? Deborah is certain that at 7 years old she had not read about any theories surrounding the pyramids or sphinx.   This was not the only time that she felt this tingling sensation and received information / words seemingly from an outside source. When she was 11 years old she had to write a poem for her English class. She was sitting on a swing in her back garden after dark and thinking about what to write. As she gazed up at the moon once again she got the same sensation she had experienced when she was seven. Words then started to flow into her mind. She rushed inside the house and wrote them down. There was only two verses but as the poem had to be handed in the next day she decided this would have to do.   When her teacher read the poem he was extremely impressed and gave her an A plus. He actually asked her whether she had written it herself, to which she replied that she had. She was a little disturbed by this incident, so although she had similar things happen on other occasions she never again wrote down anything which came to her in this manner.   The Disappearance   When she was nine Deborah, her family and another family who lived nearby went on a camping holiday to Oxwich, Swansea. The other family had a daughter named Daphne who was the same age as Deborah. The campsite was by the sea, and the girls were allowed down the beach on their own to explore. They found a rock pool which Deborah was fascinated by. Daphne wanted to walk down to the edge of the sea but Deborah was happy and decided to stay by the pool. She remained behind and sat there gazing into the water.   The next thing she became aware of, she was suddenly feeling cold and hungry, and it was no longer sunny but was now overcast. She stood up and went to look for Daphne. She couldn’t see her anywhere so decided to walk back to the campsite. When she arrived she found Daphne back at the tent with her parents. They were not happy with her and wanted to know where she had been. Apparently Daphne had returned to the rock pool to find no-one there, had returned to the campsite, got her parents, and then they had all gone out looking for her.   Deborah was confused by what had happened. As far as she was aware she had only spent a short time at the rock pool. But in fact several hours had gone by which she could not account for. She has never been able to figure out what happened that day.   This is a very interesting incident indeed. Daphne knew where the rock pool was but on her return Deborah was nowhere to be seen. She had seemingly vanished. If she had dropped off to sleep then surely she would have found her there next to the pool? And if we suggest that she was lying down and hidden from view, surely she would have definitely been found when Daphne returned to the pool with her parents? The other mystery is of course the fact that to Deborah only a short amount of time had seemingly taken place. She does not recall dropping off to sleep or waking back up, to her it felt like she had been awake the whole time.   When contact takes place, the majority of the time the memories of the experience are blocked out from the experiencer’s mind. This is probably done to reduce the trauma of what has taken place. To the individual it appears that they have a period of missing time they cannot account for. Could Deborah have been abducted while she remained at the rock pool on her own? Although she does not remember anything unusual taking place at the time, this theory cannot be ruled out.   Healing Touch   At the age of 18, Deborah started training as a nurse. During this time she found that she appeared to possess the ability to heal aches and pains with her hands. When she would lay her hands on people with ailments such as this, the pain would disperse and not come back. She would explore this ability more later in her life, but this was where she first discovered it.   A Meaningful Dream   One night when Deborah was 26 years old she had an extensive and vivid dream, one which has remained with her ever since. In this dream she was standing on the top of a tall column of people, very high up above the clouds. She could see a golden spire in the distance coming up through the cloud layer. She knew this was the destination of everyone in the column but did not know why.   She was aware that this journey had taken a long time, so long that she had forgotten all of her memories of her life on the ground. However suddenly everything changed. She received a message in her mind stating that “The Walker” would like her to come down to the ground to speak with him. She responded stating that she was “The Dreamer” and needed to stay where she was to continue progressing towards the destination.   However The Walker was insistent and kept asking her until she agreed. She curled into a foetal shape and was carefully passed down the column, one person at a time. As she got nearer to the ground, she started to get in more and more pain. Below her was a dense jungle of chaotic colours and sounds. As she was passed down through the canopy she could see a tribe of dancing people around the base of the column.   When she finally reached the ground the pain was almost unendurable. At this point the column of people got down off one another and formed a crowd around her, sheltering her from the chaos. This reduced the pain enough for her to stand up. The crowd parted and a tall and muscular man stepped forth. He had long blond hair, and looked filthy, covered in mud and scars. Initially he had his eyes closed. When he reached her he opened them, they were a stunning sky blue in colour and filled with light.   He reached out to touch her and at this point she realised he was blind. She fell to her knees in emotion, realising he had been carrying the column without ever being able to see. When she looked back up he was gone. The crowd of people built a tent around her. Later on he returned and they made love. In the morning he was gone, but she felt invigorated and full of energy. Everyone re-formed the column and picked her back up into the clouds. But they could now walk so much faster than before.   As they approached the golden spire everyone started singing triumphantly. A golden pyramid with a dome on the top came into view. Everyone got down off each other and began to run up the steps. When they entered the dome they found a jewelled map of the stars on the floor. Everyone knew where to stand. The Walker appeared again but now he was clean of mud and scars, shining in golden light.   As their eyes met the floor started to shake and Deborah realised that the pyramid was actually a craft. It lifted off and ascended skywards, leaving the atmosphere. Once out in orbit it started to disappear, leaving her and everyone else floating in space but reformed as beings of light. All around them they could see other beings flying around in vehicles of various shapes which reminded her of children’s play toys.   The dream ended with these other beings speaking to her and welcoming her to the universe. This is a deep but bizarre dream, and it clearly did not physically take place. However there are some interesting links with contact, including the description of The Walker fitting with that of a Nordic being, and the craft towards the end of the dream. While it is clearly heavily symbolic, it may have aspects which relate to her actual experiences.   The Ball of Light   It was New Years Eve of 1986. Deborah was out with her boyfriend Andy. It was very dark and was a stunning night, with the stars were fully visible overhead. Andy decided to take her out to Cleehill in Shropshire as he said it was the perfect place to star gaze. They drove up to the highest point on the hill. They saw in the New Year, and sat there in silence observing the night sky.   Suddenly Deborah felt myself being drawn forwards very fast. She was still sitting on the hill, but there was also an overwhelming sensation of speeding forwards into the stars. She felt transfixed and could not stop it from happening.   She became aware of a sphere of light ahead of her. It was not solid, but like a ball of very fast moving geometric patterns of light. She thought to herself “Shit! That’s what I’m speeding towards!”  But then she realised she wasn’t speeding towards it – it was speeding towards her!   She then felt something hit her between the eyes which was not painful. She has no idea what happened next. She says there was definitely some missing time here, but not for very long.   Next thing she knew she was crying, but not with fright, rather with the overwhelming sense of relief. When she finally managed to compose herself she looked around at Andy. For a minute they both sat there in silence. Then he exclaimed “What the fuck was that?!” She simply responded with “I don’t know.”   They sat in stunned silence a while before Deborah suggested they should go back home. They stood up and got back into the car. However, when Andy turned the key in the ignition nothing happened. The car appeared to have had its battery drained, which was very strange as a new battery had only been put in the day before.   In the end they had to go down the road to a house they’d previously passed and get some people having a New Year party to come and give them a push. With their help they got the car started and managed to get home. When they arrived they realised the time was now 3am. They could not understand where so much time had gone.     The following morning the car battery was dead again. Deborah says that the garage which had put the new battery in was only next door, so they walked over and asked them to recharge it. But when they tried this it would not even charge back up!   The man at the garage seemed intrigued by this and wanted to discover why it would not charge up. He took the battery apart and found that the metal connectors inside were completely warped and buckled. As the battery was new, and had worked fine before their arrival at the Clee Hills, there was no rational explanation for this.   Telepathy & Healing   Soon after the orb experience at the Clee Hills Deborah was on her own listening to music at night. Suddenly a column of light beamed down onto the top of her head. Her mind “opened up” and a presence descended to connect with her.   She saw an image of the ‘Golden Man’ she had dreamed about when she was 26. She was completely overwhelmed by his presence and collapsed to the floor in tears. Deborah says that the love that came with him was like nothing she had felt before. She started to ask him questions in her mind and received both answers and telepathic visions in response.   This began happening most nights from this point when, only she was alone. She realised that unlike the visitation she experienced when she was three it would only happen with her own consent.   Deborah claims that the nature of the information and visions she received fell into three categories - A deeply personal ‘story’ about a ‘life’ she and the Golden Man had spent together in a far distant time, the true history of humanity on this planet, and detailed technical information about how the universe works energetically.   In response to her asking why she was being given all of this information, the Nordic informed her that there was a massive amount of healing to be done, both personally and for humanity as a whole, that she was a part of this, and that the place she had got to start was with herself.   As a result she was drawn to read any books/articles which corroborated and confirmed what she was receiving. Despite being happy with the experiences and information she was receiving she found it hard to believe that it was actually taking place, and was also confused about what she was supposed to do in her life as a result. She did not consider herself to be a spiritually minded person at that point. She did not tell anyone else about what was occurring as she thought they would not understand and would think she was going mad.   After a while things started to happen while Andy was present. Deborah says “One night I woke up ‘buzzing’ all over. Andy was asleep. I did not want to wake him up so I just lay there on my back. But then something else started to happen. Suddenly it was as if something was shoving me in the solar plexus, pushing down sharply from above me, causing me to jack-knife convulsively and start bouncing about the bed. It did not hurt, there was no pain. But there was absolutely nothing I could do to stop it, indeed the more I tried to stop it the worse it got so I just decided to relax and let it go on. I was not scared. I felt perfectly safe. However, I started bouncing around so vigorously that it woke Andy up, and when he saw what was happening he was very scared indeed. So there I was, bouncing about the bed, trying to calm him down, assuring him that everything was all right and that it would stop when it was ready to stop.   Another time this started to happen when I was standing up. Again Andy was present, but this time the convulsions became so intense that I was bodily picked up off the floor and thrust back into the wall. Again, there was no pain and no injury and no fear on my part. When I asked the ‘golden man’ why this was happening he said that it was happening because the energies trying to open up within me were meeting massive resistance. This made sense to me because I knew I was resisting.”   As a result of these on-going experiences and speaking to others for advice, at the age of 31 Deborah began training at a College of Healing. According to Deborah through this training she learnt to heal people through her hands, although she has no officially documented proof of this ability. She continues to heal people to this day, and is still in contact with the Golden Man, who some refer to as her “spirit guide”.   Conclusions   Deborah has had some very intriguing experiences throughout her life. She has provided some fascinating detailed testimonials of these experiences. Her memories of the visitation early in her life certainly fit with a contact experience, and her many other experiences also have aspects which could be related.   How you feel about her claims of healing people in her later years totally depends on your views on alternative healing methods. I have dealt with a number of other contact cases where similar abilities have been claimed, but it is of course hard to prove without people coming forward and providing medical records, and I am unable to contact these other people in the first place.   If you have any information relating to any of Deborah’s described experiences please get in touch. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 17/04/2023 Last Updated: 14/11/2024 Note: For reasons of anonymity, pseudonyms have been used for some witnesses In late December 2022 I came across a post by a man named Bryn Davies on a contact-related Facebook group. I got in touch with him informing him that I’d be happy to discuss his experiences in more depth. He responded and said that he’d be more than happy to. Over the following months we met via Facebook Messenger numerous times to go over everything. This report documents his varied experiences and includes numerous witness drawings. Humanoid Visitation & Body Marking To his knowledge, Bryn’s experiences began at the age of 20 in 1995. Before this point the only thing he can recall from his childhood was of being afraid of the dark and always sleeping with his light on. However many children have a fear of the dark, so there is no realistic way of linking this with anything that occurred later on. At the time he lived with his parents and younger sister in a house on Lickey Rock, Marlbrook, Bromsgrove. The road runs along the South East of Marlbrook and on the opposite side of the road are a number of open farmer’s fields and areas of woodland which gradually slope upwards. Bryn’s bedroom was at the front of the house, with a long window providing a view of the fields to the South East beyond the opposing houses. Bryn cannot remember the precise month the incident took place but believes it was either spring or summer time. He awoke one morning with a distinct vivid memory of waking up in the night. He recalled sitting up in bed and for an unknown reason pulling open his curtains. It was fully dark outside, but as it was a clear night he could see the house opposite and the fields beyond lit up in moonlight. In the distance near the top of the hill he noticed what appeared to be a brightly glowing white light. The light slowly increased in size. As it got larger he then saw the silhouettes of two humanoid beings standing side by side. The only thing unusual about them was that their body frame was quite slender, and both their arms and legs quite long and thin. Their arms hung down by their sides, and they appeared to be standing still despite the fact that they seemed to be getting closer and closer. He did not recall them reaching the window, but had the distinct impression that they had not only done so but had then actually entered the room. When he thought back to what had taken place he also felt that there something had taken place relating to his right knee. He first noticed that the curtains on his window were half open, despite the fact that he was certain he had closed them fully before going to sleep. When he looked down at his knee he was surprised to see a red marking just above it. It looked almost like a cut about half an inch in length. However when he touched it there was no pain or soreness, and it did not look like an indentation of a sharp object such as one of his fingernails. Not knowing the potential significance of this marking at the time he did not take any photographs of it. However he was a little disturbed by it, especially as it seemed to relate to what he had remembered taking place during the night. He got up, had a shower and went downstairs for breakfast. At the time his sister was away at acting school, but he told his mother about what he remembered, and showed her the marking on his knee. She did not seem particularly concerned, and just asked him if he wanted some cream to put on it. As there was no pain from it he declined this offer and then headed out to work. During the day he recalls also telling his work mate about the incident and showing him the marking. He returned home at 6pm and while chatting about his day his mother asked how the marking was. When he checked his knee he found that it had completely vanished. This is a fascinating incident and one which may well have been a visitation, which could have potentially led on to an abduction experience. Many contact experiences begin with the presence of a glowing white light from which beings emerge, just as is reported here. Due to the fact that the light was getting bigger it created the impression that it was far away and was then getting closer, but this is not necessarily the case. It may instead have been getting larger because it was slowly getting more prevalent. However, if it literally got closer and closer then this implies that the beings were floating towards him surrounded in light, or potentially even travelling on or in an object of some kind that could not be seen due to the brightness. The figures standing in the light looked quite humanoid in shape. They did not appear to have over-sized heads so are unlikely to have been Greys. However they may well have been Nordic beings. Bryn has no memory of seeing them up close so it is hard to say for sure. While the marking on his knee did not appear to be definitely artificial, and could have occurred naturally, it is very interesting that he had a feeling it was linked to what had taken place. The only reason he checked his knee in the first place was because of this association. The marking itself was not causing any pain so if it wasn’t for this he may well have missed it entirely. Obviously the idea that the incident could have been nothing more than an unusual dream and natural injury cannot be entirely ruled out, but there are certainly a lot of aspects which point towards possible contact. It is unknown whether Bryn was taken as part of the experience, if he was then the memories of this have been completely blocked out. Glowing Cigar Sighting In the summer of 1997, roughly 18 months after his visitation experience, Bryn was on his way to Birmingham centre to go shopping. He was driving Eastward along Old Birmingham Road, which adjoined Lickey Rock. It was a bright and sunny afternoon. He was close to Lickey Primary School and it was around 3.15pm so the school day had just ended. There were many cars in the vicinity picking up the children, and he was temporarily stuck in a traffic jam a short distance before the school. Something suddenly caught his eye off to the upper left of his vision. Looking into the sky to the North East he saw a glowing cigar-shaped object. It appeared to be at quite high altitude and was at an elevation of 40 degrees. For a moment he thought it was an aeroplane catching the sunlight, but soon realised that it could not be. Firstly the object appeared to have no wings or tail at all. And secondly, perhaps more importantly, it was moving much too quickly to be an aircraft. The object was travelling on a straight path to the South. It seemed to be moving extremely rapidly, and only took 10 seconds to travel right across the sky. Bryn says it felt about the same speed as a jet would appear to move at while flying close to the ground, yet the object was clearly much higher up. As it moved off to the right of his vision, it suddenly and massively increased in acceleration and shot away to the horizon in less than a second! This manoeuvre completely convinced him he had not been looking at a plane. It did not look like anyone else had spotted the object as it had crossed the sky. There was nothing else he could do but wait until the road cleared and he was able to continue his journey into Birmingham. Distant aircraft can sometimes appear as glowing cigar-shaped objects in bright sunlight. However the manoeuvre Bryn witnessed the object perform as it moved away from the area confirm that it was clearly something far more unusual. This movement was much too fast for the object to have been an aircraft, blimp, other inflatable or radio controlled model. The incident took place before drones were commercially available so this explanation seems improbable. Bryn also witnessed the object long enough to suggest that it was actually present in the sky and not just a light reflection in the windscreen. What’s In a Name? During our initial conversation Bryn informed me that he has had a number of experiences which have led him to believe that he has psychic abilities which seem to occur involuntarily from time to time. He provided a number of fascinating examples to support this claim. Back in 2010 he was around the flat of his girlfriend (now wife) "Julie's" flat. It was 9.30pm and they were relaxing in bed chatting and watching TV. An advert about football came on which got Bryn talking about his interest in the sport. Julie then told him that he would have loved her gran as she was a big Wolves fan and he would have got on great with her. She continued to talk about how close she had been to her while she was alive. Suddenly Bryn realised that his eyes had begun to water uncontrollably. This was not down to emotion at what Lucy was saying, he felt completely calm. He said to her “Give me your hand.” She did and he placed it on his cheek so she could feel the tears streaming down his face. Puzzled she asked him “What are you crying for?” He responded telling her “I’m not” She asked “So why are your eyes watering? Do you think my nan’s here now because we are talking about her?” Bryn merely responded “I don’t know.” Julie put the bedside lamp on. She then leaned in close to him, looked him in the eyes and asked “If my nan’s here right now what’s her name?” Without thinking Bryn came out with a name (He can no longer remember what name it was). Shocked Lucy exclaimed “Fuck! How do you know that name?” Realising something was wrong Bryn said “Don’t tell me that’s her name!” She confirmed that indeed it was, even though she had never spoken of her gran with him before as they were still in the early stages of their relationship. They were both amazed and frightened by what had just happened. Julie needed to go to the bathroom, and asked him to accompany her there as she did not want to walk along the landing by herself. Bryn tried to remain calm and went and put the kettle on. This was the first time he began to realise he had a sixth sense. Several years later one of Julie’s friends Kelly was round the house. They were chatting together in the living room. Bryn had to enter the room to grab something. He had never met Kelly before this point, but when he saw her he immediately felt a psychic connection of some kind to her. He blurted out “Kelly can I ask you a question?” Almost knowing what was going to happen Julie exclaimed “Oh god!” Bryn continued “You like things to do with the paranormal don’t you?” Kelly responded saying “Yes, how do you know?” He said to her “I just know.” Kelly began to talk about how she had visited a medium who had told her that she had a guardian angel who was her great grandmother watching over her. At this moment the name “Elizabeth” popped into Bryn’s mind for an unknown reason. He exclaimed “Give me a pen and paper!” Kelly handed him a pen and paper and he wrote down the name. He then asked Kelly the name of her great grandmother. Kelly confirmed that it was indeed Elizabeth. He handed the piece of paper to her with the name on. Kelly was shocked when she read it. Both of them were quite shook up by what had taken place. Precognitive Dreams This was not the only time when Kelly’s great grandmother apparently made her presence known. One night in 2017 Bryn had an unusual dream. He was standing alongside Kelly on an airport runway. In front of them was a landed Boeing 737 jet. The rear door of the plane was open and had a small flight of steps leading up to it. In the open doorway Bryn saw a short elderly lady wearing a light green coloured top. She was hunched over a bit and was beckoning to both himself and Kelly. This was all Bryn could remember. Later on as he drove to work he contacted Kelly by phone to tell her about the dream, but neither of them had a clue as to what it could mean. Bryn keeps in touch with Kelly from time to time. In April 2019 he was chatting with her via text message when she informed him that she had trained to become a pilot. When he heard this it reminded him of the dream that he had remembered back in 2017. He reminded Kelly of it and speculated that maybe the old lady was related to her and that it had been a premonition that she would learn to fly. Kelly first speculated that it was her gran as she loved planes. However she then explained that her gran was quite tall in height, so it sounded more like her great grandmother. Bryn sent me a screen grab of the text message conversation as evidence: In September 2021 Bryn unfortunately contracted Covid-19 so was isolating in the house and spending extended periods of time sleeping. On the afternoon of 4th September he had another strange dream that again involved Kelly. This time he was sitting on a bus or coach which Kelly was driving. All of a sudden she lost control of the wheel and the bus began to skid left and right across the road. She was not strong enough to force the wheel and get it back under control. Quickly he leapt to his feet, ran to the front of the vehicle and also grabbed the wheel, and between them they managed to bring it to a halt without it crashing off the road. This time when he awoke he did not get in touch with Kelly, and just put it down to a strange dream potentially caused by his ill health. Late evening on the 4th September he received a text message off Kelly. She informed him that she had been in an accident while piloting a plane on the previous day. There was a fault with the aircraft on take-off. She had tried to keep it airborne but ran out of runway and had to make an emergency landing. The plane crashed into a hedge which swung it round causing her to heavily fall to the left smashing the side of her head and arm. Luckily it then came to a halt and there were no further injuries from the accident. When Bryn heard the news he immediately wondered if the dream had been a premonition of this event. Although obviously not exactly the same there were certainly some aspects which seemed to fit. He briefly mentioned the dream to Kelly and she soon asked him for a more detailed overview of what he recalled. Again Bryn provided numerous screen grabs of the text conversation he had with Kelly to back up what he informed me: Experiencers often mention having one or more psychic abilities, it is quite commonly reported, and does seem to have a link with contact. While the two dreams Bryn has had could have just coincidentally had aspects which Kelly could relate to, the incidents in which he knew the names of individuals he had never heard about before are harder to explain. Glowing Orbs There have been numerous occasions where small glowing orbs of light have been seen around the home by both Bryn and Julie. He provided me with several good examples. Bryn regularly goes camping with his friends to rural locations. On a weekend in early August 2011 he was away from the house. Julie had a friend over and they were chatting in the living room. Suddenly a golf ball sized orb of glowing white light drifted into the room from the open door which leads through to the hallway. It glided smoothly across the room in front of them. As it was summer time it was quite warm As the orb floated past them the temperature noticeably dropped. It then floated through the open door to the conservatory and was lost from sight. Soon after it had gone the room temperature returned to normal. When Bryn returned home Julie informed him of what had taken place. She said that her friend was particularly frightened by the incident. It was not long after his father had passed away and Bryn wondered to himself whether it was him who had come to visit. Late one evening in the summer of 2018 Kelly had come round to visit. She and Bryn were sitting in the converted garage working on a new website. It was about 11pm. The lights were on in the room and they were sitting alongside one another in front of a television they were using a computer monitor. All of a sudden Bryn noticed something out of the corner of his eye to the right. There was a round orb of glowing light, seemingly about 3 inches across. It was about 4 feet off the floor and nearly still in the air, just drifting a little back and forth. He was not particularly frightened by its presence, more intrigued by it. He thought that if he turned to look directly at it, it would vanish, so he kept still. A moment later Kelly noticed the orb too. She asked “Can you see that light in the corner of the room?” He merely replied “Yep.” “What do you think it is?” she asked. “I don’t know.” He replied. Kelly said “I’m getting a bit concerned.” Bryn tried to comfort her saying “Don’t worry, it’s not going to harm us.” After about 10 seconds the orb suddenly vanished without trace. Bryn looked round to confirm that it had gone. I asked him if the orb could potentially have been a reflection from a light entering the room via a window, or from within the room itself. Bryn informed me that the only window was in the back door on the far end of the room, and that had a blind on it which was closed at the time. He also said that the only electrical things in the room were the television and computer, and these did not have any lights on them which could have been reflecting off something and hitting the wall. He says that he will sometimes get reflections at the edge of his glasses, but Kelly saw the orb too and was not wearing glasses. On 30th August 2021 Bryn was self-isolating and recovering from Covid-19. He awoke in the middle of the night for an unknown reason. It was extremely dark in the room as the window had blackout blinds on it, and the bedroom door was closed. Looking down the bed he was surprised to see a small orb of glowing light. It was down near the foot of the bed and was floating in the air about 4 feet above him. The light was quite bright in the middle but hazy around the edge. It was not bright enough to light up the furnishings of the room. Initially he was confused and wondered if he was fully awake. He stared at it briefly before rubbing his eyes. When he did so the orb completely vanished and the darkness of the room returned. A little scared by what had just taken place he got out of bed and went to use the en-suite bathroom. He then returned to bed but stayed up a while on his mobile phone. About ten minutes went by and then suddenly the orb reappeared! It was about the same height as before but this time more to the right near the lower right corner of the bed. It only remained for several seconds before once again disappearing. Even though he was on his mobile phone, he did not attempt to take a photograph of it. He was more intrigued as to its origin and meaning. After this the orb did not re-appear and Bryn settled back down to sleep. In the morning when he awoke he contacted Kelly by text message to tell her about what had happened: If Bryn had only seen the orb once when he initially woke up it would have been easy to dismiss this as a hypnagogic hallucination as it vanished when he fully woke up and rubbed his eyes. However an identical orb (possibly the same thing) then appeared ten minutes later and this time he was wide awake. During the following night Bryn once again woke for an unknown reason, and saw the glowing orb. However this time it appeared directly in front of him for a brief period of time before fading away. In the morning he again informed Kelly of what happened: Contactees often report seeing glowing orbs in their nearby vicinity, and it is entirely possible that these incidents are again contact related, although it is clear that these orbs are being seen by other family members and friends as well as just by Bryn. Triangle of Lights On Sunday 20th March 2022 Bryn went camping with his friends Paul, Scott and Liam. They camped at a spot they had been to numerous times before – the corner of an area of woodland at Cleeve Hill close to Cleeve Prior, Evesham. The location is situated a short distance to the West of Evesham Road and lies alongside an open crop field. It was a really pleasant night and the stars were fully visible in the sky. The men built a bonfire at the edge of the treeline and then sat around it on chairs chatting. The topic of UFOs did come up into conversation, and Bryn actually pointed at the sky and asked his friends to imagine what it would be like if a UFO suddenly appeared. At around 11pm Paul looked up through a gap in the tree branches and noticed some strange lights to the West of their location. They were at an elevation of about 70 degrees and appeared to be over near the River Avon. He exclaimed “Oh blimey look at that!” “What?” inquired Bryn. “It literally came out of nowhere – three lights moving about!” Initially Bryn could not see the lights as the position he was in was more covered with overhanging branches. As they had been talking about UFOs Bryn said “You’re winding me up!” Scott was sitting closer to Paul. He looked up into the sky said “Oh yeah, you can see something.” Bryn got up and moved to where Paul was sitting. He was then able to see what they were talking about. There were three white points of light in an equilateral triangle formation. They were remaining in the same area of sky, but were gliding back and forth a bit, maintaining their formation to one another. They certainly appeared to be attached to a single object, but it was too dark in the sky to make this out. About 10 seconds after Bryn had started watching the lights they suddenly blinked out. The stars in the sky were all still visible so it did not look like they had been hidden from view by a cloud, they were just gone. The witnesses discussed what they had just seen for a short while. Unfortunately the sighing had occurred too quickly for any of them to think about attempting to record the lights on camera. Even if they had, as they were distant and it was very dark they may not have come out very well anyway. Soon after the incident Bryn contacted Kelly about it via text message. Here is a screenshot of this message: This is quite an interesting sighting. Bryn informed me that sometimes gliders are towed across the sky after taking off from Wellesbourne. However these would only be launched during daylight hours. Also the lights seen did not match a normal aircraft or helicopter. You would usually expect to see other navigation lights such as red or green, or a strobing white light. An aeroplane or microlight would have moved on a straight or slowly arcing path not remained relatively stationary. Flight Radar 24 confirms that around 11pm on the evening of 20th March 2022 there were no tracked aircraft in the vicinity: Radar 360 confirms that the area does not lie within any airways: It also confirms that it falls within controlled airspace: These two facts reduce the possibility of the lights belonging to an untracked aircraft. It is unlikely to have been a lit inflatable with multiple lights on, and if it were multiple lit inflatables like several LED balloons these would have surely drifted apart from one another rather than remained in formation? Drones can sometimes have white lights on them, and are able to perform the short back and forth movements observed. However the configuration of lights seems unusual. A drone would usually have 4 lights in a rectangular/square shape, or would be at a distance where all the lights would bleed into a single glowing light. If the object were a drone, then why would it suddenly vanish without trace? It is highly unlikely its owner would have suddenly switched all the lights off on it, so the witnesses would have seen it fly away from the area into the distance rather than suddenly disappear. And Bryn confirmed that the other stars remained in view, which dismisses the idea that it was hidden from sight behind a cloud that could not be seen due to the darkness. Looking into the details of the sighting, there is the possibility that this was a Flying Triangle, one of the more commonly reported types of craft. They are often reported as having a single white light on each corner which would have created the pattern that the witnesses observed. As it was quite distant it is hard to say for certain. Shadow Being In April 2022 Bryn and his children went on holiday to Trecco Bay in South Wales. They stayed at Trecco Bay Holiday Park in a static caravan. During one of the nights, he awoke without apparent cause. It was fully dark and he thinks it must have been between 2-3am. When Bryn opened his eyes he glimpsed what appeared to be a slender and tall shadowy being leaning over him. The figure had no visible features, it was just a dark mass in a roughly humanoid shape. Bryn screamed out in fright at the presence of this being and kicked out at it. The figure immediately vanished. However he noted that the curtain of the room was moving even though the window was not open and the door to the room was shut. Here are some screenshots of a text message Bryn sent to Kelly after the incident: Like the previous orb experience, this happened while Bryn was coming round from being asleep, so once again there is a chance that it was a hypnagogic hallucination rather than an actual entity in the room. That said, many people have reported seeing these figures before while wide awake, they are commonly referred to as shadow beings. Again there is a link with contact, and I have investigated many cases where experiencers have encountered these beings in their vicinity. Also there was the fact that the curtain was moving after the figure departed, with no obvious sources for a draught of air in the room. This could suggest that it was physically present, although obviously this aspect alone is not enough evidence to confirm that this was the case. There is the possibility is that this being was the same or a similar type to those seen when he was 20 years old in the glowing light. I asked Bryn about what he thought about this and he said it could not be ruled out. White Orbs Pair   On 6th August 2022 Bryn was on a camping trip at Wildman Woods camping site in the Brecon Beacons with his friends Scott, Leom and Mark. The camping site is situated in a valley and runs along the edge of the River Swaddle.   It was the final night of their stay and they spent it relaxing, chatting and having a couple of drinks. At around 11.30pm they decided to walk on over to the edge of a large pond on the site to sit and star gaze a while (From the below map it looks like the pond has since been filled in or has dried out).   Soon after starting to sky watch they witnessed a number of Starlink satellites travel over them in a line coming from the West.   At around midnight two other objects became visible in the distance. Bryn describes them as two brightly glowing white orbs of light situated alongside one another quite closely. Initially they thought it must be a distant aircraft but they soon realised the lights were moving too slowly and also appeared to be silent. Bryn believes they were in the upper atmosphere rather than out in orbit, but it was difficult to tell exactly what height they were.   Over the next 12 minutes they watched the orbs slowly move towards and over their heads and travel away to the East. They did not change in brightness for the duration of the sighting.   It seems unlikely they were high altitude aircraft for the reasons already stated by the witness. They looked too large and high up to be drones. White coloured LED balloons are unlikely due to the straight path over many minutes and remoteness of the location.   The below screenshot shows that at the time of the sighting the International Space Station was over Australia so this could not have been responsible:   However one explanation which cannot be entirely ruled out is that the orbs were actually two satellites travelling alongside one another and brightly reflecting the sunlight. Alien Healing? In the later half of 2022 Bryn began to get discomfort in his lower right jaw when biting down on food. He knew he had a filling in this location so he booked in to see his dentist. They confirmed that the filling had not fallen out but had ground down so would need to be repaired. He went in for this repair work on 8th November, and the discomfort he was feeling immediately went away. However on 22nd December something entirely new started. He began to get pain in his jaw which seemed to be spreading down from his right ear. At first it was nothing more than a dull ache which would come and go, but as time went on it gradually increased in intensity. Due to the time of year he was not bothered to go back to his dentist about the issue. However by mid-January the pain was so intense that he was finding it hard to eat properly and it was starting to affect his sleep, even with the paracetamol that he was taking. On the night of 15th January the pain was particularly intense and he was lying awake in bed. He thought back to a documentary he had seen relating to CE5, a method of mentally reaching out to ET beings in the hopes of establishing contact with them. He decided he would reach out and ask for help from them. For 45 minutes he lay there asking in his mind again and again “Please come and help, I can’t stand this pain any longer.” He thinks in the end he must have dropped off to sleep. His next recollection was of waking up at an unknown time during the night. It was extremely quiet and he still had his eyes closed. He then realised his left arm was extremely cold. Opening his eyes he found that his left arm was stretched upwards into the air, almost as if he had been holding someone by the hand. It was not paralyzed but he found it hard to move it willingly, so he grabbed it with his right arm and pulled it back down. As he did so he heard a voice in his mind say “We’ve helped you. Remember us as Murdoch!” The voice was neutral and had no particular emotion to it. Bryn then noticed that the pain in his jaw had completely vanished! When he had eventually dropped off to sleep it had been almost intolerable, but now it had completely gone. He settled back down to sleep. In the morning he found that the pain had not returned. He did not tell Julie about what had happened during the night as he didn’t think she’d believe him. However he was intrigued by the voice he had heard in his mind. He decided to look up “Murdoch” and “Murdock” on Google to see if there was any links with the subject of UFOs or aliens. He found a couple of sites talking about sci-fi movies and TV series which had contained beings of this name, but nothing relating to the real UFO subject. Bryn wonders if he managed to achieve contact, and that the ETs he made contact with healed whatever was happening with his jaw. This is an intriguing prospect. I have dealt with numerous cases before where experiencers have seemingly been healed or protected from harm. That said, there are a number of mundane possibilities worth considering. The pain was on the same part of his jaw as the previous dental work he’d had done. Perhaps it was indicative of other issues, relating to the filling performed, or even with other teeth. Maybe for a period of time it was causing pain but then after a while stopped, even with issues still present. I have experienced such a thing with toothache before. Toothache can come and go, sometimes for extended periods. I advised Bryn to get a dental appointment just to confirm that this is not the case. Another possibility is that the issue in his jaw was healed by the placebo effect – essentially mind over matter. There have been numerous cases on record where people have seemingly healed themselves just by willing it to happen. Even though this might seem unlikely, the placebo effect is extremely powerful so cannot be entirely ruled out. Lastly there is of course the possibility that the pain was being caused by a temporary infection, perhaps a delayed after-effect of the work he had done on his teeth. Maybe it was sheer coincidence that this happened to subside on the same night that he reached out for help. While you may find this unlikely, it would still theoretically be possible. If one of these alternatives was responsible, there is still the matter of Bryn’s left arm and the position he found it in. But again this can be explained. While it could indeed have indicated that he may have been holding the hand of a being standing in the room, it is also known that during sleep paralysis and other related sleep disorders sometimes people can wake up to find their bodies in strange positions for unknown reasons. Maybe this is what occurred, we have no way of knowing for certain at present. Fast White Orb   On Friday 8th November 2024 Bryn was driving to work in Wythall from Beoley, Reddich. It was 8.35am and he was heading North along Lilley Green Road. Either side of the road is farmer’s fields surrounded in low hedgerows. There was nobody else on the road at the time and it was a dry morning with patchy cloud in the sky, not particularly sunny.   Off to the left of his eyesight he suddenly saw what appeared to be a very fast moving white orb of light up in the sky. It was only there the briefest of moments and when he turned his head to look it had already vanished.   As there was no sign of the object there was nothing else he could do besides continue driving. The object had either been self-luminescent or brightly reflecting the light. It was clearly not an aircraft as it was moving much too fast for this. The speed also puts other possibilities like balloons or drones out of the question. I do wonder if it was some kind of light reflection in the corner of his eye, however he did state that the sun was hidden from view behind the clouds, reducing the possibility of this being the explanation.   Conclusions Bryn has had some varied and fascinating experiences, often backed up by other witnesses. He comes across as a very trustworthy individual, and after the numerous extended video calls we have had I have no problem in vouching for his authenticity as a witness. While some of the incidents may have natural explanations, something which Bryn is more than happy to accept, some of his encounters are harder to explain and could well point towards contact. Many of the aspects of his experiences resonate with me and have links which relate to other cases I have investigated in the past. Julie is unwilling to speak directly about what has taken place. On my request Bryn asked his friends for a written statement regarding the triangle of lights which he witnessed. Paul responded but his memory of the event was not very clear and therefore would not be worth including. Scott and However I hope in due course to be able to speak with Kelly about the incidents she has been directly involved in. So far she has not responded to my requests for communication, but Bryn says this is likely because she is very busy with her job, rather than the fact that she would not like to chat. For these reasons we currently only have Bryn's testimony (and the supporting text messages) to go on, however I have no doubt that the incidents have taken place as reported. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2011 Last Updated: 14/11/2024   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used   This report covers a fascinating childhood experience involving a UFO, Grey visitation and possible abduction. Unfortunately only certain initial details are known about, after a single phone call no further information was obtainable.   Incident Details   In 1980/81 when “Stuart” was either 10 or 11 years old he lived with his family in Nottingham. One night he was stopping over at his grandmother’s house. He was sent up to bed about 8pm and believes he dropped off to sleep.   His next recollection was of standing up. He had his eyes closed initially but felt something pushing on his temple. Next he felt electrical pain down both sides of his head which caused his eyelids to be forced open.   When he opened his eyes he found himself standing on the edge of the grass-covered field of Sycamore Park, roughly 200 yards from the house. It was not broad daylight but there was some light in the sky meaning he could see his surroundings.   There was a Grey standing alongside him, although he did not realise this was what it was at the time. It was about five and a half feet tall. He cannot remember the colour of its skin but it was very slender and unclothed. Its head was the shape of an upside-down tear. It had two large oval shaped eyes and a small nose.   The being was holding a device against his forehead which was clearly responsible for the pain and reaction from his eyes. He looked to his right across the park and saw a landed spherical shaped object. It was silver in colour and about 12-14 feet across. In the side of the object there was a round shaped opening from which a number of dark square steps emerged that led down to the ground.   Stuart is unaware of what happened next. One moment he was standing there looking at the object on the ground and the being, the next he was walking back up the hill to his grandmother’s house. As he walked he could still feel the pain on the sides of his head. He does not recall reaching the house, going back inside or getting back into bed.   His next memory is of waking up much earlier than he would normally get up. He checked the clock and found it was 5am. He immediately remembered standing in the park, but viewed it as a strange and extremely vivid dream. However the sides of his head were still hurting.   Suddenly he saw a bright white light outside the bedroom window coming from behind the closed curtains. Frightened by this light he shut his eyes and pulled the duvet over his head. He waited for ten minutes in silence before checking and found that the light had now gone. He did not drop back off to sleep but instead remained awake until morning.   He is unsure of whether he informed his mother or grandmother about what had taken place. He has no memory of them talking with him about it.   Incident Analysis   This is a very intriguing series of events which has all the hallmarks of a contact experience, albeit one with some highly unusual elements. Many experiencers view experiences that happen during night-time hours as vivid dreams instead of actual events. It is extremely likely that the spherical object he saw was a landed craft from which the Grey had emerged.   If we assume that Stuart really was down the park in the early hours of the morning then it is likely that one of a couple of scenarios seems most probable. I have dealt with numerous other cases where individuals have seemingly been compelled to walk to a particular outside location, where they find a landed or hovering craft which they are then taken aboard. It is possible that that had taken place, and the memories of both walking to the park and the abduction itself had been blocked out (potentially by the strange device being utilised by the Grey).   Another possibility is that he had not walked to the park but had been abducted from his bedroom, and for whatever reason the beings decided to drop him back off at the nearby park instead of exactly where he was taken from. There are many other cases on record where this seems to have been the case.   The device being used on his head is extremely unusual, and I have not come across any other cases where the same thing has been reported, although there may potentially be some on record. It may have been responsible for his fragmented memories of the incident, but to counter balance this I have dealt with many cases involving missing time but this particular aspect has not been mentioned in these cases.   The fact that the sides of his head still hurt when he awoke at 5am point towards the incident having actually taken place. Also the white light he saw outside his window could well have been from a lit craft, although he never confirmed this. When I asked him about this particular aspect he said “Directly outside the window was the back garden, and at the end of this were garages and other houses. There was nothing mundane nearby which could have caused it.”   Later on in his life this experience led to a fascination with the UFO subject, one which remains to this day. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Originally forwarded by Richard Hall Release Date: 17/08/2011 Last Updated: 13/11/2024 Sighting Details Just before 2am on the 1st January 2011, Lee was outside his house in Lowestoft, Suffolk. He glanced up into the sky and noticed a glowing object at quite low altitude. It appeared to be vertical rectangular in shape and was glowing a bright blue colour. Lee estimates it was about the size of a bed side table, so no more than a few feet across. The object was moving on a slow course across the sky. After a while the object slowed down to a halt. It then suddenly changed to a bright red colour. After this it continued on its way. Lee watched it for up to 15 minutes until it was out of sight. At the time he thought he was watching nothing more than a well made Chinese lantern, but later on when lying down in bed he wondered whether it was ET in origin and had been searching for something. Initial Report On 26th January Lee posted details of his sighting on the Gumtree website. Below was his posting: “On January the 1st at around 2 a.m. above my back garden a colour changing chinese lantern floated above the back of some houses in Lowestoft. It was a standing up rectangular block shape. In the sky it was a bright blue colour. It then seemed to stop, change to red and then continue floating away into the distance. The stopping could of been the wind or perhaps the changing of the colour effected my vision somehow. I had been watching loads of orange chinese lanterns invade the sky at 12 a.m but was really impressed with this solitary one. Whoever created it can you contact me. It was stunning.” He did not get any responses to this. Sighting Analysis The object that Lee witnessed was definitely not a Chinese lantern. These are lit from inside and do not change colour, and are generally a fiery amber colour, sometimes appearing yellow or deep orange-red. However it is extremely likely that what he did see was a colour changing LED balloon. These are electronically lit inflatables that are sometimes remote controlled and can be set to change colour. The fact that the object was seen shortly after New Year reaffirms this explanation, it was an LED balloon that someone had launched in celebration of the turn of the year. Other things which point towards this explanation are the small size of the object, the lantern-like shape and the slow drifting manoeuvres it made. The fact that it stopped before changing colour, and only did so once, could point towards it being under remote control. Or perhaps it was set to change colour on a timer and was just coincidence that it slowed right down at that moment. I am suitably confident that this sighting can be explained away as an LED balloon, and although I cannot say this 100% it is very likely that this was the cause. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2024

Some of these have been very impressive and clearly of highly unusual objects. This report covers the first of two of his sightings which he has decided to share with me via Richard Hall’s website. Following on from the sighting he realised that he appeared to have lost some time.   Incident Details   In 1978 Kieran used to work as a chef for the NHS. It was early on the morning of Christmas day and he had to travel in to work in Brentwood, Essex. He was round his girlfriend’s house on Uplands Road with his van. He had to be in to work for 6am to cook breakfast for the patients. The journey would take about an hour from his location so he decided to set off around 5am. It was a cold and frosty, but clear morning. When he tried starting his van he found it wouldn’t start. So he quickly arranged to borrow his girlfriend’s dad’s car and set off on his way.   Between 15-30 minutes into his journey he was on Spital Lane near the Brentwood Bypass. He was driving carefully as the roads were icy. Looking towards the direction of Romford to his left he noticed a strange glowing orange object in the dark sky. It was about 300 yards from his position. The object appeared to be the shape of a top hat. The main body looked cylindrical. At the base was a rim which stuck out about 3-4 feet. The whole object seemed to be glowing. There were other round lights visible around the rim at the base of the object. These alternated between ones which remained a continuous bright white, and ones which pulsed between white and orange-white. The UFO looked quite small in size, perhaps 4-5 feet in diameter. It was at quite low altitude, about 40-45 feet in height, a short distance above the nearby housing. The object was completely stationary in the air.   There was nobody else on the road at the time due to the time of morning. Kieran slowed the car right down to a crawl and wound down the passenger side window to get a better look at the object. He watched it for a short while as he slowly drove past it. Suddenly the object appeared to move and went out of sight.   Kieran drove under a foot bridge and then managed to catch sight of the UFO again. It was now at a different position but once again completely still. It had moved away from the housing and was now hovering above the verge, closer than it had been before, about 70 yards away from him.   He had now been watching the object for up to 10 minutes. He knew that he had to continue on his way to work so did not stop the car. Upon resuming his journey Kieran remembers asking himself why it was now light in the sky. He had no clock in the car so had no idea what time it was.   When he arrived at work and used his card to check in, he found out the time was now 7.15am. He was an hour and 15 minutes later than he expected to be. Due to the earlier issue with his van, he was certain that he had set off from home at 5am. There was no traffic on the road, and despite the fact he had been driving slowly and observed the UFO for about 10 minutes, there was nothing which could account for this amount of time. He thought this was very strange and wondered if it had anything to do with the object he had seen. He was also annoyed at being late for work.   Later he told his girlfriend about the incident but she just ignored it.   Incident Analysis This is a very interesting incident. The object that Kieran saw sounds very unusual indeed. Quite often orange glowing objects seen in the sky these days turn out to be nothing more than lanterns. However this incident took place back in 1978, a long time before lanterns were in widespread use. Also the shape was incorrect for a lantern, it was constantly bright rather than flickering, and it had additional white lights on it. That said it does seem quite small in size and considering the fact it was Christmas morning it is not possible to rule out the possibility it was some kind of inflatable Christmas decoration which had drifted up into the air. But if it was this, it managed to hover completely still for the period of time that Kieran watched it for.   And what to make of the missing time? Kieran is adamant that he had set off around 5am, but the journey took significantly longer than he was expecting it to. This suggests that the object may have been a genuine ET craft of some kind, and that he was abducted from his vehicle for a period of time against his knowledge. Kieran has no recollection of the object approaching his car or interacting with him in any way, but this is certainly a possibility worth considering. In addition to this sighting, he also discussed a previous sighting of a top hat shaped UFO which included missing time. A link to this previous incident can be found at the base of this report. Sighting Details In 2010 Kieran was working across in Spain. He was situated in Alicante. On a late evening in July he was out walking his dog across scrub land at the Urb La Marina. It was 10.45pm and a fantastic clear evening. The stars were visible in the sky overhead. There was another couple out walking on the far side of the scrub land also walking a dog. Suddenly he heard them loudly exclaim “Mirror! Mirror!” This means “Look! Look!” in English.   Kieran looked up into the sky and and first didn’t see anything. But then he noticed that nearly overhead was a massive black triangular shaped object. It had extremely bright white-blue lights around its perimeter and looked to be at least 1500 metres across!  It was covering at least three house plots. Astoundingly the object seemed to be continuously phasing in and out, slowly fading till it had vanished and then becoming clearer again. When it was visible it completely blocked out the stars.   The object appeared to be at a height of about 200 feet. Kieran and the couple watched it moving slowly across the sky, heading in a Southerly direction. It was emitting a faint humming sound whenever it phased out. They all watched it for about 10-15 minutes until it had flown away into the distance and could no longer be seen. Kieran watched for this full time but at some point the couple had walked off, so he could not attempt to speak with them afterwards about what they had just seen. After the object had gone Kieran felt quite emotional and distraught. He immediately walked back home to tell his wife what he had seen. When she saw him she said he looked pale and a little sickly.   Sighting Analysis There is little doubt in my mind that this was a sighting of a genuine Flying Triangle craft, which I believe are extraterrestrial in origin. The object was way too large to have been a normal aircraft, inflatable or model. But above all it was fading in and out, which of course puts these explanations out of the question. We are only just starting to experiment with invisibility camouflage such as this. Such an effect can be used using many tiny mirrors and cameras, but to do so on such a large object would seem near impossible. Even if the military were secretly working on such technology for a moving aircraft, it is extremely unlikely they would fly it across a town in full view of the public. It is much more probable that this wasn’t our technology but was extraterrestrial.   We can only speculate as to why the craft was phasing in and out in the manner seen. Perhaps it was doing this for a particular unknown purpose such as to become undetectable on radar. Perhaps it was experiencing difficulties, or maybe it only had the ability to go temporarily invisible. The fact it was doing this in the first place does show that the ETs have the technology to make their craft invisible at will, so it is possible that there are many flying around all the time but we just don’t see them.
