Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 02/08/2010 Last Updated: 11/10/2024   On 21st July 2010 BUFOG received a very interesting sighting report from a man named John living at a place known as Henritta. Sadly he did not leave any contact details, and there are numerous places by this name so I am unable to state the exact location, however I believe this sighting took place in the USA.   Sighting Details   At 10.50pm on 17th July 2010 John was out on the driveway of his house. It was a clear night and the stars could be seen in the sky. He heard a helicopter coming from the East. It was coming towards his location. As it got closer he could make out that it was an army helicopter. Not only that, it appeared to be chasing after another object. John could not make out the exact shape of this object but it had red and green lights on it. Suddenly the object vastly increased in speed and flew away to the West in a matter of seconds. It did this in complete silence. The helicopter turned and came back round, and switched bright lights on as if it was searching for something.   John called his next door neighbour who also came outside and saw the helicopter. After about 5 minutes of circling the area it slowly flew away into the distance.   John also mentioned that his neighbour followed the UFO sighting on the internet, I assume that he means by this that it was reported by other people too. I have so far not been able to locate anything about this UFO.   Sighting Analysis   This is a fascinating incident and it is a shame that John did not leave his contact details as I would certainly have liked some further details. From what he has said, the UFO certainly sounds like it was something out of the ordinary due to the incredible speed at which it exited the area. It moved too fast to have been a conventional aircraft, model or inflatable of some kind. It is very intriguing that a military helicopter was following the object, and then proceeded to search the area after it had departed - this again suggests that it was something very unusual, possibly a genuine advanced craft. It also means that the military in the area were well aware of the object. If John gets back in touch then I will be able to add further details to this report.   Copyright Dave Hodrien 2024

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 19/09/2010 Last Updated: 03/10/2024   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used   Introduction   "Carol" lives in the small village of Cornwood close to Dartmoor, Devon. For many years she has had numerous strange experiences which have led her to believe she is in contact with extraterrestrial beings. She wants answers to her experiences – who these beings are and why they are in contact with her. This report will cover Carol’s experiences in depth, and features many witness drawings and photographs.   The Pale Beings   Soon after Carol and her family moved into their house at Plymouth in February 1980, she would often feel like she was being observed. Soon her and her son Timothy began to experience apparitions of strange pale-faced beings. These people looked young and were quite short. They always had their eyes closed and had thin wispy white hair. They would wear shapeless white gowns. Sometimes Carol would be woken up by two of the beings who would sit on her bed early in the morning. Occasionally she would feel one of them lying down in bed next to her at night. They seemed to take delight in trying to frighten her. They appeared to be lighter than a normal person of their size would be, similar in weight to a small cat.   One morning she got fed up with being woken up by them, and when they sat on the bed she shouted at them angrily. After doing so she felt guilty and actually apologised to them! With this the beings faded away, but a few moments later returned. One of them was now holding a tiny baby which they appeared to have brought to show her. This baby looked similar in appearance to the beings, and strangely had a navel-like protuberance coming from the back of its neck. After this incident they bothered Carol less and would sometimes appear but would no longer suddenly jump onto the bed.   When Timothy was still quite young, he came into Carol’s bedroom early one morning and said that someone was in bed next to him. Carol followed him back to his bedroom but could not see anything. She asked him about what he had seen, and he informed her that he had seen these funny looking people a lot and that they always had their eyes closed. Carol was immediately convinced that Timothy was being visited by these same beings.   On another occasion, both Carol and Timothy were awoken in the night by a loud clattering noise from outside of Timothy’s bedroom window. Timothy cried out and Carol went into his bedroom to see what was going on. She found Timothy standing on his bed and looking out of the window. He seemed to be in an almost trance-like state with wide staring eyes, like he was looking at something she couldn’t see. He told her he he could see a girl outside in the garden on his swing. He said “It’s a girl, but not our girl” (Meaning that it wasn’t his sister). Carol looked outside but could not see anything. She asked Timothy what the girl was wearing and he told her she was wearing a white nightdress.   This wasn’t the last time the clattering noise would be heard. Occasionally Carol liked to meditate. For an unknown reason the sound would sometimes start when she was deep in meditation. However it was a real sound that was audible to everyone not just herself, so wasn’t just in her head.   These experiences are very interesting indeed. Carol felt at the time that the beings she and Timothy saw were ghosts which were haunting their property. At first she was frightened by them, but after a while got used to them. She decided to ask around and see if she could find out the history of the house. It turned out that one of the owners previous to the couple she had brought the house off was a lady who had got pregnant and tried to conceal the baby, eventually giving birth in the house with help from a neighbour. Carol was informed that she had ended up in a mental hospital, though for what reason and what happened to the baby remained a mystery. Carol decided to contact a local spiritualist church who sent round two ladies to take a look around the property. They informed her that they could sense a connection with children and the manipulation of pregnant women, though it is of course possible they were just making this up, Carol had, after all, informed them about the beings she had seen. When the family eventually moved out of the house, Carol found out that historically the area had been a leper burial ground. So the feeling was that the pale beings were ghosts. However I am not so sure. The description of the beings sounds similar to that of alien-human hybrids. The short height, pale features, thin wispy hair and what they were wearing are all very reminiscent of other contactee’s descriptions of hybrids. It is interesting that the beings would always keep their eyes closed; this is not something I have come across before. The way in which one of the beings showed Carol a small baby is another factor which leads me to believe the beings were hybrids. Many contactees are involved with the hybrid breeding program, and have eggs/sperm removed from them, which are then used to create alien-human cross breeds. Often the ETs bring the baby to the contactee to show them their own offspring, and sometimes even hand it to them for a while so they can bond with it. Could it be that the beings were hybrid, and could the baby that Carol was shown have been created using her own DNA? I feel this is certainly a possibility to consider, and would fit in with her other contact related experiences.   Shadow Being   A couple of times Carol also awoke in the night to find a shadowy shape standing by the side of her bed. This figure brought with it an extreme feeling of dread, and Carol was very frightened by it on both occasions. She could not make out any details; it was just a tall shape darker than the surroundings. Both times she closed her eyes and did not dare look again, and despite being frightened fell back off to sleep.   Entities such as this are often referred to as “shadow beings”. They are often seen by contactees, and many believe them to be related to contact in some way. ETs have the ability to mask their own appearance or the appearance of their surroundings. So these beings may well be ETs masking their true appearance. I have investigated numerous other contactees who have seen very similar beings to what Carol describes.   Paranormal Activity   As well as the various beings, Carol and her family experienced other strange goings on, both at the hose in Plymouth and their current house in Cornwood.   When Carol and her family moved into the house at Plymouth, there was a strange bad smell which appeared at random times during the first few months. This odour came and went, and seemed to move around the house. After several months it was not so regular but still happened occasionally for a year. It smelt a bit like gas, so Carol had someone round to check for gas leaks but there were none. They thought it may be a dead animal under the floorboards, so Carol next had all the floorboards lifted but no source of the smell could be found.   At their current house between the mid 90s and 2005 occasionally noises were heard downstairs at night time which sounded like somebody moving around. On one of these occasions, Timothy actually went downstairs to investigate. The dining room door was closed, and when he tried to open it, it felt like something was holding it shut. He was very frightened and rushed back up to Carol. They both went back downstairs together and tried opening the door and this time it opened absolutely fine.   Many contactees report experiencing paranormal activity around their homes. There appears to be a definite link between this activity and ET contact, although exactly what that link is has not yet been adequately explained. It is possible that through contact, the individuals gain heightened senses which enable them to detect and experience the spirit world more easily than most.   Spiked Spherical UFO Sighting   The first UFO encounter I will cover in this report was not actually witnessed by Carol, but by her daughter Heather who was 5 years old at the time. It took place in late April/early May 1980 at 3.30am while the family was living at Plymouth. After hearing about the incident from her daughter, Carol decided to contact Plymouth UFO Research Group (PUFORG) to report it officially. she kept the PUFORG report which was created, and sent me a copy while going over her experiences. There is little to gain in me re-investigating this UFO sighting from scratch, as PUFORG appear to have done an excellent job, so below is their report in its entirety, complete with drawings by her daughter. I tried to contact PUFORG to not only ask for official permission to reproduce the report, but also ask for further information. However so far have been unable to find contact details for them anywhere online. It is possible that they no longer exist as an active group.   This is a very interesting sighting of what appeared to be a solid artificially created object. Certain aspects such as the glowing windows and lighting suggest it was a craft. Carol feels certain that her daughter was awake and really saw the UFO, however when she went to check it was no longer there. Heather was quite young at the time, so we must consider the possibility that the object was something more mundane which she was mistaking for a craft, perhaps an oddly shaped inflatable. However it was apparently hovering almost stationary in the air for quite a length of time, surely a helium filled balloon or something drifting in the wind would not have been able to do this? Also because she observed it for quite a while, it seems unlikely that she was just dreaming or imagining the object. If we consider it may have been a hoax model of some kind, why would someone have been flying it so late at night where there would be little chance of it being seen? Another possibility is that it was a bright orb of light and the "spikes" Heather reported were actually flaring coming from this due to the brightness. However this does not take into account the three windows seen on the front of the object. I feel therefore that this may well have been a genuine sighting of an advanced craft, possibly of extraterrestrial origin. Could it have been there specifically for Heather, or even for Carol who was asleep elsewhere in the house at the time?   Out-Of-Body Experiences   In 1984 Carol had the first of numerous out-of-body experiences (Also referred to as astral projection). One night she awoke to find the room bathed in bright white light. Hanging down from the ceiling next to the bed was a long white string-like thing. Carol reached out and grabbed hold of it. It was about 6 inches wide by 1 inch deep, and felt a bit like a sheet of flexible polystyrene. She tugged on it, and it felt like it was unravelling like a roll of tissue paper. She kept tugging on the object and then suddenly realised that as she did this she was being drawn out of her physical body. She was now high up in the room close to the ceiling staring up at it. She felt like she was wide awake, and in complete control of what was happening. She was not scared and was more intrigued by the experience.   Carol experimented with moving and managed to move into a standing position and around by the side of the bed. Carol is short sighted and wears glasses, but takes them off at night time. She found that she could see more clearly than she would be able to when awake. She enjoyed the feeling of being weightless without the burden of her physical body.   At this point, a young man walked into her bedroom. He was a stranger to her, but for some reason she felt no fear. Carol believes this was due to the altered state she was in. The man was dressed in a waterproof pull over coverall. He asked Carol where she would like to go. She replied that she would like to go to Lutton (At the time she was contemplating moving to Lutton). This is her last clear memory of the experience. She has a blurred memory of walking around a house and seeing lots of other people. She does not know what happened to the young man. She remembers vividly coming back into her physical body. This happened slowly from her feet upwards. She heard what sounded like electrical crackling sounds while this was taking place.   In the morning Carol had a strong headache which lasted the whole day. She is certain that the experience was more than just a vivid dream.   Contactees often report having out-of-body experiences. It is possible that contact can sometimes occur on this metaphysical level. However there is no part of this particular experience which suggests that it was directly related to ET contact. The man that she saw is more likely to have been a manifestation brought on by the experience rather than extraterrestrial, although of course this cannot be confirmed beyond doubt.   Helicopter Bother   On an evening in 1989, Carol’s car was buzzed by a low flying helicopter. She was out in Plymouth on a road named Deep Lane. The helicopter apparently followed Carol to her destination in Lutton, and then remained hovering above it for a time. Carol was disturbed by the presence of this helicopter, and decided to phone the police. They could hear the noise over the phone, and decided to contact the MOD about the incident. Below is the MOD response letter that she received:   As you can see, the MOD claim that it was a Sea King helicopter which was on a training exercise. However Carol feels sure that it was specifically following her, rather than just coincidentally flying on the same route as she was driving. It is probable that the MOD explanation is real, so perhaps the pilot was just having some fun and buzzing Carol’s car on purpose.   There were two other incidents that took place at the same location on Deep Lane. Firstly soon after the helicopter incident, Carol found her way blocked by a BMW on its side. She approached the crash but there was already a policeman there who informed her that there was nothing she could do to help. On 21st January 2006 she was driving along the same road at 10.45pm. Suddenly a large white owl flew directly into the windscreen, striking both it and the roof of the car. Carol quickly turned the car around and went back to look for it. She found it injured in the middle of the road. She watched it for a minute, after which another vehicle was approaching. She flagged down the vehicle so that it would not accidentally hit the owl.  Incredibly the driver turned out to be a volunteer at a nearby owl sanctuary and took the owl into his care! Carol finds it interesting that these three different incidents have all occurred around the same location. However it seems unlikely that they are connected in any way, it is probably just down to coincidence.   The White Light   On Friday 27th November 1992 another strange experience took place. This incident was witnessed by Carol, her son Timothy and two of his friends. It was the evening time, between 7.30-8pm. It was a cold but clear and still night, and was a new moon at the time. Carol had gone to pick up Timothy from a friend’s house. They were walking home along a path. As they walked, they bumped into two of Timothy’s school friends who then began walking alongside them and chatting. They got to about 40-50 yards of their house.   All of a sudden, the horizon to the left of them to the South West became illuminated by an expanse of rippling white light! Carol’s initial thought was that it was a rare natural phenomena that she had never seen before. Everyone present stood still interested by the strange light. It appeared to be shining down from the sky from an unknown force.   After several seconds it began travelling towards them. At this point, her son’s friends started to panic a bit, but her and her son were excited and intrigued. The light swept across the road in front of them, and came to a stop directly over the top of Carol’s house – illuminating it and nothing else! The light appeared to fit exactly within the borders of the property. It was an incredible sight, because everything in the garden was lit up so brightly, while all around there was darkness.   Timothy immediately started running towards the light to try and get into it. That was Carol’s instinct too, but she had to calm down Timothy’s friends who were terrified aliens were coming for them! He got to within a few metres of the light when suddenly it completely switched off, leaving the house in darkness once more. Timothy looked disappointed, and Carol was disappointed too that the light had now gone. She was mystified by the light, but felt that it was linked with technology which we do not currently have. After the incident, the witnesses told various people about what happened, but no-one else seemed to have seen the light.   White Sphere UFO Sighting   In 1993 Carol was to have her first UFO sighting. It was between 10-11pm on the 19th May. Her daughter Heather called her and Timothy outside the front of the house to take a look at what she initially thought was the moon. It was a clear and still night with not much cloud cover. Heather pointed out the “moon” to the East. There was a huge glowing circular object on the horizon, which was partially hidden behind a hill about ½ a mile from their location. The object was a yellow-white colour and looked similar in size to a full moon. However it clearly wasn’t the moon, as this was a very thin crescent at the time and was visible elsewhere in the sky. The lower part of the object was hidden behind the hill, so it looked like a semi-circle. To the right of the object were two small red lights, which looked to be just above ground level. The large object and the red lights were all stationary.   The witnesses stood watching the three UFOs for about 15 minutes. During this time they did not think about going to get a camera, they were too busy staring at the objects. Suddenly the main object appeared to shine a bright white beam in their direction, after which it suddenly vanished from sight. As it did, the two red lights moved away from it to the right in a Southerly direction and were lost from sight behind some trees.   After the sighting, Carol contacted the Plymouth UFO Research Group to report the incident. Although Carol could not find the full report that she printed out, she was able to find the summary report. The section relating to her sighting is shown below:   Large glowing white spheres are one of the more commonly reported types of UFOs, and I have investigated quite a number of cases featuring similar objects. The object seen here was clearly not an internally lit balloon/inflatable of some kind, as it looked much too large and also it shone a beam of light and then suddenly vanished from sight. The red lights are also unexplainable and appear to have been linked to the main object. If they were helicopters then other white/green/blue lights would have also been visible.   Orange Mist   Since 1993 Carol witnessed the appearance of an orange mist in her bedroom during the night on many occasions. She is currently single so is alone in the room. Typically she would wake up in the middle of the night and look over at the windows of the room to see glowing orange mist/fog apparently pouring into the room from outside from around the edges of the curtains. There is a main window and a smaller side window, and the mist would tend to come from both of them, although sometimes it appeared denser through one. The mist looked self-luminescent but did not seem to light up the surroundings much. It appeared concentrated to a certain area rather than being widely dispersed. It spread out about a foot in width from around the window edges. Carol never felt threatened by its presence at all. When Carol first started seeing the mist her bed faced the windows so she would see it immediately when she opened her eyes. Whenever she saw it she would feel extremely drowsy and sink back off to sleep very fast. Carol says this feels like she is being sedated. She would often fight against this feeling and try to stay awake. Initially she would only be awake for several seconds before dropping off. However over time she found she was able to stay awake for longer.    Eventually she managed to get up out of bed and walk across the room towards the mist. As she was crossing the room she felt like she was doing this very slowly, like walking through treacle. She reached the window with the mist right in front of her and as she went to pull back the curtain it faded away in front of her eyes. She checked the clock and found it was approximately 3am. Carol remained awake a short while before returning to bed and going back off to sleep.   In 2003, 10 years after she had first seen the mist, these experiences appeared to cease. She would no longer wake up in the night time and no longer witnessed the mist appearing in her room. However this was not to be the last time she would see the mist (see later).   Contactees have reported seeing strange mists or fogs, sometimes around themselves or around other people. However this is the first time I have spoken with anyone who has experienced this strange phenomena. Could the mist have been some kind of entity which was visiting Carol? Perhaps it was something coming from an object outside the windows. But if it were physically there, and was not intelligent in any way, why would it have vanished when she approached it? Could the mist have been a recurring vivid dream, one which was so convincing that it remained even when Carol felt she was fully awake? This is a possibility that must be considered, and if so this would explain why it disappeared when she got near to it.   Dancing Lights   In 1993 and early 1994, Carol had numerous sightings of anomalous glowing white lights. She would mostly see them after 10pm on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings. These lights would fly across the sky on a straight path, but erratically jump around back and forth as they did so.   After a number of months of seeing the objects Carol informed PUFORG. She assumed that the lights had to be something mundane due to the amount of times she would see them. However PUFORG’s chairman Bob Boyd thought different. He informed her that the lights were not on a normal flight path for aircraft, and asked her if he and a friend could come and visit her to conduct a sky watch in her back garden and around the village. Carol agreed to this.   The sky watch took place in late autumn 1993. During this the lights once again made an appearance, as everyone hoped they would. They saw roughly a dozen of the lights, which flew in an arc across the sky from right to left, jumping about as they did. Carol took a photograph of one of these lights. When the photo was developed it seemed to show four orange pinpoints of light, the middle one being more pronounced than the others. The colour is probably due to the exposure, however the fact there were four lights is a mystery. It is possible that the outer lights are just reflections in the camera lens of the middle light. Carol wondered if the erratic jumping was actually an effect caused by numerous objects turning lights on and off extremely fast.   Bob and his friend tried to film the lights on video camera but sadly they were too small to come out properly. They seemed interested in the lights, but could come to no conclusion as to what they were. They were however convinced that they were not conventional aircraft.   By spring 1994 the lights had stopped appearing so regularly, however they did still occur from time to time, including 11th June 1994 on which quite a number were seen. Carol still occasionally sees them and informed me that the last time she saw some of them was in late August 2010. However some of these sightings may be explainable as Chinese lanterns. That said, lanterns do not jump about the sky, they tend to drift smoothly, so I do not feel that these are responsible for all the sightings. It is interesting to note that Carol started to witness these lights around the same time as the orange mist experiences began – were the two related in some way?   The Lady And The Gift   On 6th April 2004 Carol was to experience her first visitation by an actual being. She went to bed quite late, Carol thinks it was about 2am. She was starting to drop off to sleep, when she had an out-of-body experience. She felt herself floating out of her own body and began to spiral upwards over the bed. This continued until she was right up near the ceiling of the room. Carol looked down and could see herself lying still below. She felt very much awake during this experience. This was not the first time this had happened, and she was quite comfortable with it.   Then someone entered her bedroom and walked across the room towards her bed. At this point Carol quickly returned to her body. Initially she thought it was her daughter, and she spoke to her, asking her to put the light on. But the figure just stood there about 3 feet from the bed without speaking. Carol began to feel uneasy and again asked the figure to put the light on several more times to no response. She realised that it was not her daughter. It was quite dark in the room, and she could not make out many details of the figure. She could see that it was female, was quite slender, and was wearing what looked like long robes with a covering like a large hood over her head. After standing still for at least a minute (which felt much longer at the time), the mysterious visitor approached the side of the bed. She reached out towards Carol and handed her a strange object. She lifted her hand and took the object without fear. The object was small and cylindrical in shape, about 2-3 inches in length. On the top of it was something that looked delicate, but she could not make this out clearly. It reminded her of dried leaves/flowers. As the lady handed her the object, she spoke to Carol saying “From grandmother, to mother, to daughter.” Carol did not understand what she meant by this. She is not sure whether she heard this like normal, or whether the voice appeared directly inside her mind. She could not see the lady’s mouth so had no idea whether or not she had opened it when she spoke. Carol thanked the lady and asked her what the object was, but she was once again silent. She then stepped back away from the bed. She remained motionless for at least 30 seconds. Then she strangely appeared to start breaking up into little squares from around the edges. This continued for a couple of minutes until she had completely vanished. Carol was absolutely fascinated to watch this occur.  When the lady had gone Carol felt that the object she had been handed had also vanished.   The entire incident had felt very real to Carol, and she feels that she was awake at the time and not just experiencing a vivid dream, although she does not put this possibility out of the question. One of the reasons why she felt it must have happened is that she did not go straight back off to sleep after the lady had gone, she remained awake thinking about what she had just experienced and what it meant.   About 10-15 minutes went by and then Carol heard the sound of a couple of helicopters approaching the house.  She lay in bed listening and wondering what they were doing in the area at that time of night. She heard them hovering and circling over the house for several minutes, after which they flew away. It seemed very odd that they had arrived so soon after the experience with the lady, and she wondered if they were connected in some way. A short while went by before she settled down to sleep.   In the morning she spoke to Timothy and Heather and they confirmed that they too had been woken up by the helicopters. They informed her that they had actually come back a second time a while later, Carol must have slept through this. After talking about the helicopters, she went over what she had experienced beforehand. They were interested but like herself had no explanation for what had occurred. Everyone speculated that perhaps the object was linked with DNA passed down the female line. Because of the strange way that the lady and object had vanished at the end of the experience, she wonders if it was something mechanical like a hologram. However the object that she was handed had certainly felt solid.   This is a truly fascinating experience with many unanswered questions. Who was the mysterious lady who paid Carol a visit? It is certainly possible that she was extraterrestrial. The species we refer to as the Nordics, and other species that have been reported, look extremely human – could the lady have belonged to one of these races? Or was she nothing more than a vivid dream? The incident began with an out-of-body experience – could this have lead in some way to a vision which was not physically taking place? If it was just a vision, at what point did this vision end and reality begin? Carol stayed awake after the lady had left, this tends to suggest that the experience was real rather than dreamed. Certain aspects of this experience could fit in with the condition known as sleep paralysis. However she was not paralysed at the time, she could move freely and reached up to take the object from the lady when it was handed to her.   What was this unusual object? It is certainly unlike anything I have come across before. It appeared to be a gift of some kind, but for what purpose? Perhaps it was symbolic of something, or perhaps when it vanished it was actually absorbed into Carol in some way. These are just suggestions and by no means definite.   The helicopters that appeared soon after the incident are also very interesting. Although this may have just been a coincidence, and they could have been in the area for another reason, this adds another level of intrigue to the incident. Could the people aboard these helicopters have been aware of the visitation Carol had experienced? Was there a craft seen in the area that they were attempting to track down? These are questions that will probably never be answered, but are worth considering.   Telephone Issues   Over the years Carol’s family have had many strange experiences when using the phone. Sometimes they have heard clicking noises, echoes and even an unidentified man’s voice. Also for a time, their phone was apparently automatically dialling 999! Carol kept getting calls from the police asking her to stop ringing them up.   Contactees often experience electrical disturbances, with equipment malfunctioning or switching on and off, and lights sometimes flickering. Could the phone issues experienced have been caused by this? Obviously there is the possibility that their phone was not working correctly and that this has nothing to do with Carol’s other experiences.   Glowing Humanoid Visitation   Some point in 2005 Carol had another visitation in the middle of the night. But unlike the lady, this experience was quite frightening. She does not know what time she awoke, but it was still very dark. Standing two feet from her alongside the bed was a glowing being. She saw it immediately when she opened her eyes, and was both shocked and frightened by its presence.   The being had a slender humanoid build, with thin arms and legs. It appeared to be almost 6 feet in height. The most fascinating thing about the being was the fact that it appeared to be solid, but was lit internally by an intense glowing light which caused it to appear semi-translucent. This light made the being appear an orange-pink colour. Carol could make out veins and internal organs inside the being’s form. However she does not remember seeing any bones, which she felt was odd. As well as these details, she noted that its armpits were more rounded in shape, rather than v-shaped like humans usually have. Strangely Carol does not remember what the beings head looked like. She felt that she should have been able to see this, but does not currently remember any details. Neither does she remember what the beings hands looked like. She thinks the beings lower legs and feet were hidden out of view due to how close the being was standing. The being felt very much alive, but it was standing still.   Carol only looked at the being for a couple of seconds, just long enough to register what was happening, before she shut them tightly in fear. She lay as still as she could, terrified that the being would detect any movement she made. Inexplicably she then sank off to sleep, which she says felt very un-natural considering the situation.   In the morning Carol told both her children, they did not really know how to react but seemed to believe her. She realised she could not remember what the beings face looked like, and decided to perform a test. She got her daughter (who is almost as tall as her) to stand in the position where the being had been. Carol found that she could easily see her daughters head, so in theory should have been able to see the beings. Later she also shared the experience with a couple of friends, who were both very intrigued.   This could well have been a visitation by another humanoid type/species, perhaps presenting itself in this manner for a particular reason. The fact she could see its internal structure, and that the light appeared to be emanating from within it is very interesting indeed. Its colouration reminded her of the orange mist she had seen many times, is there a connection between the two? Maybe the mist was actually the same or a similar being appearing to her in a different form.   The way in which she could not remember what the beings face/head looked like is also interesting and has been reported before. It is possible that the being was masking its facial features from Carol, or that she could see it at the time but her memory was wiped of this particular aspect of the incident.   The being was not seen to interact with her in any way, but it is interesting that she quickly dropped back off to sleep. Considering she was so scared this seems unusual, and suggests that this was done deliberately. If this was the case then more could have happened to her which she cannot consciously remember.   Unexplained Lights   On boxing day 2008 Carol was to have another UFO sighting. At the time she was sleeping in a different bedroom to the one where she had seen the beings and mist. This bedroom was at the front of the house, and had no curtains on the window. She woke up about 3am. She was facing the window and lay there staring out into the night sky. It was a clear night and the stars were fully visible. She then noticed a glowing light which was brighter than the stars, looked larger, and more yellow in colouration. It was moving across the sky from the left to the right of her vision. However its path was not straight, it kept jumping around and also flashing.   Carol was intrigued as to what it could be. She got out of bed, opened the window and leaned out to try and listen for any noise coming from the object. It was completely silent. She continued to watch the object until it had flown away out of sight. Carol got back into bed and lay there thinking about what it could have been. Suddenly an image appeared in her mind. She saw a triangular shaped craft with rounded corners, covered in lights. This took her by surprise and she has no idea whether it was just her imagination or something which had been implanted. She soon dropped back off to sleep.   Later in the night, at an unknown time, she woke up a second time. Remembering what she had seen earlier, she again peered out of the window. Amazingly she saw something else! In the position where the yellow light had first been, there was a bright blue glowing light. She stared at the light and it flared brightly then vanished. Like the first incident, Carol was certain that she was awake, and wondered what both the lights could have been.   The Mist Returns   Carol has always held the notion that there is some sort of intelligence behind the mist and that it was linked in some way with other dimensions. On 14th August 2010 she was meditating and decided to attempt to contact this intelligence. She asked the question in her mind:   “I want to know the truth about the orange light, what caused it and why it came, and why it has stopped coming. I want to see it again and be able to understand the truth. I want to know who or what the lady was who gave me the message and the gift, why did she come to me and what does it mean? It is time for me to know the truth about myself and why these things have happened.” That night, she awoke around 3am and saw that the mist had returned! However this time instead of it coming from around the curtains of the windows, it was coming into the bedroom from the door, which was ajar. However just as she had done many years before, she immediately dropped back off to sleep before she could act. She did not sense any communication at any point during the experience, so the reappearance of the mist is a mystery – however it was obviously in response to her request earlier that day.   Grill Shadow   On 16th September 2010, Carol went to bed about midnight. Even though she had initially felt tired, for some reason she could not get to sleep for quite a while. In the early hours of the morning she opened her eyes a couple of times because she was sure there had been a white flash of light, which she had seen through her closed eyelids.   At about 3am she turned over in bed and once again woke up. She saw a soft white light coming in through the bedroom windows and from around her bedroom door which was slightly ajar. The white light coming through the window appeared to be shimmering and rippling. The light coming through the door had the shadow of a black grill overlaying it. Carol was not afraid, she was more curious of what it was. She kept screwing her eyes up and looking again to make sure she was not just dreaming or imagining what she was seeing. She was certain she was fully awake. After a short while she decided to get up and walk over to the light to investigate it more closely. However as soon as she’d had this thought she suddenly began to feel very sleepy. She felt that something was doing this on purpose, which seemed to be the case, because as soon as she decided to stay put and continue observing from a distance the sleepiness receded.   She continued to watch the light for about 10 minutes before finally dropping off to sleep. Her cat was in the room at the time and did not seem bothered by the light at all.   Could this white light have been from a craft that was hovering outside the house? Perhaps the light was coming through some kind of grill on this craft and making the shadowed pattern on the wall. Or was Carol being shown this pattern for a particular reason? It does seem that this experience actually happened and that Carol was not just dreaming.   Conclusion   Despite the fact that Carol has not had any clear memories of being taken aboard a craft, I feel it is quite likely she is a contactee, due to the number of contact-related experiences she has had. She has had numerous visitations by various types of beings, had multiple sightings of UFOs and is also expressing signs that she has heightened senses, another factor which is quite common with ET contact. During most of her experiences other witnesses have also been present, which suggests that the incidents have really taken place and are not just being imagined. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 02/06/2010 Last Updated 01/10/2024 Sighting Details   In late May 2010 I was contacted by "Becky" (actual name withheld) who informed me of two unusual UFOs that her and her husband had witnessed over Burton-on-Trent. It was 9.30pm on the evening of 23rd May, and was a clear and pleasant evening. The sun was just starting to set. Becky happened to look up into the sky, and was amazed to see two strange objects moving at speed. Both of the objects looked like silver coloured oval hoops. One of them had a piece sticking out of it. They were on a straight flight path and appeared to be moving as fast as an aircraft would. The object with the protrusion from it was spinning and turning about different directions. The UFOs appeared to be completely silent.   The couple watched for a couple of minutes as the objects moved away into the distance. They could barely believe what they were seeing, and were convinced that it was something out of the ordinary.   Sighting Analysis   I have not been able to get in contact with the witnesses to ask them any more details on this sighting. But from the information they have provided, it certainly seems like an interesting sighting. The objects were obviously not conventional aircraft of any kind, I am certain of this because of their unusual shape.   However I do wonder if they were silver coloured novelty balloons, such as balloons in the shape of number 0's. Perhaps they were at a lower altitude and moving slower than how they appeared to be. The objects did not display any intelligent manoeuvres, and their straight flight path could be put down to them drifting in an air current. Also the fact that the one with the protrusion was spinning and rotating also points towards the possibility that the objects were being blown in the wind. I feel that going on the current details of the sighting, this seems like the most probable explanation for what was seen. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Ian Jones Release Date: 30/09/2024 The Sighting: Occurred in 1977 Time of Year: Probably 15th – 16th September Time of Day: Between 8pm and 9pm The Place: West Heath, Birmingham   West Heath is a residential area of Birmingham, England on the boundary with Worcestershire. Forming the larger part of the ward of Longbridge and West Heath it is situated between Kings Norton, Northfield, Longbridge and Cofton Hackett. It is just to the north-west of the A441 Redditch Road.   Sighting Description Kaz Kelsell's description of her sighting: “I was 14 when I saw a UFO in West Heath on an evening in 1977. The time of night was about 8-9pm. It was about September, clear sky. I was on the Fordrough near the shops. Near Aire Croft. I was waiting outside a phone box waiting to use it, when I looked up and about 100 foot away, there was a large UFO hovering above a house in Aire Croft. It was, the size was smaller than a helicopter. Big enough to see from where I was. It was near the roof, directly above the bedroom window. No noise at all, even when it zoomed off. It was silent, large, a strip of different colours not like a plane nor a police helicopter. It hovered over the house for at least 3-4 minutes. I was in disbelief what I was watching. Then a young lad came to use the phone box and he saw it and he was more frightened than me. He was shocked and watched it too. Then, all of a sudden, it shot across the evening sky, no sound. Your eyes could not follow it as it went at top speed. I can't tell you west to east, but it was on the left of my vision then shot across the sky to my right. He looked at me and I was stunned. I got in the phone box and rang my parents to say I was coming home late and I told them that I had saw a UFO. They didn't believe me. I got home about 9pm-ish and on the local radio BRMB, people were ringing up saying they had seen a UFO. My parents had nothing to say after that. Years later, I was watching a programme on UFO's and Shaun Ryder was in Manchester in Sept 1977 and he saw one too. I think it was the same one. Shaun Ryder saw one around that time in Manchester. I know he described his experience on a programme he was in about UFO's. This was a few years ago on the tv. Reading the article, it seems his 1977 experience was 6.45am. Next day.   I have told only a few people in my life and this is the first time I have drawn it, the colours were so bright and shone through the porthole- looking windows. It was spinning that fast, but you could see the colours.” I asked Kaz whether she felt any emotions, like being frightened? Her response was: “Funny enough not frightened but more what the hell? That's a UFO and what are they doing hovering over that house... not thinking that they could be taking someone. The lad near me was more frightened than me.” The shops where Kaz had the sighting in 1977 have long since been demolished, along with the phone box. Kaz kindly forwarded some map prints showing this area and marked on details of where she was and where the object she saw hovered above the houses nearby.  Above is the local area, with the arrow pointing to Aire Croft. In the above aerial photo, Kaz was standing approximately where the “0” marker is on the white car, where 26 The Fordrough is now. This was where there were shops in 1977. The phone box she was waiting outside of was located there. The object was roughly directly above the house at about 9 Aire Croft. Note that on this recent photo there are mature trees between where Kaz was standing and where she saw the object, but Kaz reports that they were not there in 1977. So, she had a clear view. Below is a 2024 photo of the same area, with a phone box in the top right-hand corner, above the red line. If Kaz was standing there, observing the object, and it moved away from her left to her right side then it moved in an approximately NW to SE direction. Below is a May 2022 picture from the rear of the property, showing the position in which Kaz saw the object, with added notes by the witness. Below   is the position of the object above the house, from the front of the property (May 2022 photo). The distance between Kaz and the object was quite close. As such it falls into the Hynek classification system as an example of: Close Encounters of the First Kind (CE1) – Sightings where the UFO, whatever its appearance, comes near enough to a witness—typically within about 500 feet—that details of the UFO can be readily observed. There is no interaction with the witness or the environment. Kaz was able to see the shape and size of the object and that it was spinning and details of port-hole type windows with multi-coloured lights shining out through them. Shaun Ryder's Sighting The report by Shaun Ryder Kaz refers to is described in an article in The Guardian on 2nd November 2013: Shaun Ryder on UFOs: 'It's not that I want to believe – it's impossible not to' | Shaun Ryder | The Guardian Here is what Simon Hattenstone, who wrote the article, reported he said: "Shaun Ryder was 15 when he first saw one. He'd just started as a messenger boy at the post office, and was walking to the bus stop on Hilton Lane, Little Hulton. It was 6.45am, pitch black when he looked up into the sky. "At first it was still, and then it went, 'Voooooooom!' And then again: 'Voooooooom!' Classic zig-zag, hovered, then went off at 10,000 miles an hour. Like Star Trek. Boom. Gone. Yeah!" He then describes another sighting: "Another bus stop a few months later in 1978. This time he's at Irlams o' Th' Height in Salford, it's around 5pm. "Hundreds of lights going across the sky really slow, and I'm thinking, 'God, are we being invaded?' The next day in the papers it said: 'Mysterious lights in the sky – lights at Salford rugby ground have gone mad.' And that was bullshit because when the lights at rugby grounds start moving around, it's nothing like these." These accounts were in a much longer article about Shaun’s interest in UFOs and was promoting his new 4-episode tv show, which started later that month: Shaun Ryder on UFOs ( history.co.uk )   Then, on the This Morning TV show on 8th November 2013, he gave more details about that first sighting: https://youtu.be/wd1IET6aMQk He was on the way to a bus-stop: "It was about 7am, I saw this thing just hovering then it just shot off, stayed still, shot off again, did a sort of zig-zag, came back over the bus-stop, stayed there for a few seconds then shot off, that was like 1978." Unfortunately, in this second source, Shaun says it took place in 1978, which is several months later than he implies it happened in the Guardian article, which was closer in time to when Kaz says she had her sighting. Therefore, with this confusion over when they happened, linking these sightings is not possible.   Other Sightings Around This Time As Kaz reports, when she got home she heard many people phoning the local radio station BRMB about having seen something the same evening. I did contact BRMB, but had this response, which is not surprising given how long ago this was: “You are talking about something from a very long time ago. There is nobody working at the new BRMB who was there at the time. There is a Facebook group/forum called BRMB radio remembered that may give you answers.” I have placed a request on this FB group’s page, but after several weeks have had no response at all. The newspaper reports at the time I have found are for 15th and 16th September 1977 in the Wolverhampton Express and Star. On the 15th September it wrote about many people having reported strange shapes flashing in the sky and coloured lights on the objects. On the 16th September it wrote about many UFO sightings locally in the Black Country, probably debris from Skylab  [my italics] and that Beacon Radio had been flooded with reports. The first report for the 15th September does suggest similarities with what Kaz reported. The second report, on the 16th  September, is a clear attempt to debunk things - there was no debris from Skylab anywhere over the UK at anytime during 1977, so whoever thought that “explanation” up hadn’t done any research. However, taken together, these articles do confirm there were many reports of something unusual in the skies during the middle days of September 1977 in the West Midlands. I have not found any reports of colourful objects similar to that Kaz describes, anywhere else in the UK around that time. Conclusions Kaz has provided a detailed account of what she saw, with a clear drawing of the object. She saw it fairly close up – less than 100 yards away above houses. She saw it for several minutes as it was stationary. It was smaller than a helicopter. She saw it leave the area at high speed. She did not feel frightened, just a bit stunned/surprised. A young lad also saw it and reacted as being frightened.   It was not anything to do with the weather at the time, because the sky was clear. It was not something astronomical that was mis-identified, because it was too large and colourful and moved quickly. It was not an aircraft, or a helicopter, because these are very loud and do not fly around, or hover, in the way Kaz describes, nor do they look the same as the object she describes. It was not a glider, because these do not remain stationary for minutes over a housing estate and do not fly away suddenly at top speed. Nor do they fly at night, or have lights. It was not a balloon, blimp, kite, or similar aerial object, because these move with the wind and would not be stationary for several minutes and then “shoot off” at top speed, too fast to follow. Drones were not around in 1977. It was not satellite debris, because that wouldn’t hover in the air, nor would it then shoot off horizontally and disappear from sight. Debris falls and crash lands somewhere. There was no satellite debris reported over any part of the country during that year.   Therefore, unless more information becomes available to help identify what Kaz saw , this has to be filed as an Unidentified Flying Object / Unidentified Aerial Phenomena. Birmingham UFO Group Report Forwarded by Richard Hall Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2010 Last Updated: 30/09/2024   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Sighting Details   In July or August 1989 "Mark" was sitting in his mother’s garden with a friend in the early hours of the morning. It was a clear and warm night. The two witnesses were chatting and relaxing. At about 1am they suddenly noticed a round orange light ascending directly upwards. The light was in the distance, at most 5 miles away from them. Mark assumed that it was a flare or firework. The light ascended for 3-4 seconds. Then suddenly without warning it momentarily stopped. It then shot away upwards and to the left at an incredible speed. Mark estimates this speed was thousands of miles an hour. Within a split second the light had vanished from sight. Immediately they were convinced that what they had seen was neither a flare or firework or any other conventional object. They were astounded by what they had witnessed.   In the days following their sighting Mark informs me that there were other UFO sightings reported in the area. Many years have past but he has still found no explanation for what he saw. Sighting Analysis   This is a straightforward multiple witness sighting of what was clearly an highly unusual object. If it wasn’t for the incredible manoeuvre the object performed I would have suggested it was a Chinese lantern. These appear like orange orbs of light at a distance, and if it was a clear and still night would ascend vertically with no air currents to cause them to drift. However the fact the object instantly accelerated to an incredible speed and left the area means it must have been something highly unusual. It could not have been a lantern, a flare, a firework or other lit inflatable. Neither could it have been a conventional aircraft of any kind.   Of course we cannot say whether or not it was ET in origin. As it was distant we do not even know what its true shape was. However this type of manoeuvre has been reported many times before with other UFO sightings. It suggests that the object was under intelligent control. I feel that the speed it moved away at is far in advance of anything our military possesses, either publically or in secret. Surely a normal aircraft moving at such speed would kill a human pilot due to the G-force it would create? Maybe the object was being controlled remotely and was unmanned. Perhaps it was a back engineered craft being flown by humans, this is of course a possibility. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2010 Last Updated: 29/09/2024 Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Unfortunately the key individual involved in this case only sent initial details via E-Mail and did not respond to any further correspondence, so we only have minimal information regarding his experiences. However they sound interesting so I have decided to release them anyway. "Steve" may potentially decide to get back in touch in the future, or other witnesses to these events may come forward. Steve states that he has had an interest in the UFO subject since high school and is a member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He also says that he is a water douser and amateur photographer. He claims that he has had an interest in the UFO subject since high school and has been visited by beings. He describes this incident as "something similar to the Alaska movie The Fourth Kind" . This suggests that it involved a visitation or potential abduction by Grey beings, or may even have involved an owl screen memory (It should be noted that The Fourth Kind is not based on a genuine contact case but is instead a horror movie based upon aspects of the contact phenomenon) Steve says that in the earlier years of his life he doubted whether this incident actually took place, but a long time ago he looked into other similar experiences and it dawned on him that it happened to him and was not just a bad dream. He also claims to have seen many different craft over the years, of a variety of shapes. He has not provided information on specifically when or where these sightings took place. On one occasion he says he was on a weekend beach holiday with his wife and they were staying at an apartment. He had an argument with his wife around 3 o'clock in the morning, and afterwards decided to go to the upper porch to calm down. He lay down on a reclining beach chair looking straight up at the early morning sky. He says that he then saw several UFOs enter a larger "mother ship" by flying into its base. He states that this manoeuvre only took a few seconds and it amazed him at how co-ordinated it was. He saw all this with his naked eye. He says that the larger craft appeared to be at an altitude of about 25000 feet and was absolutely huge, perhaps a mile across. He did not provide any further details regarding what happened next, but says that later on he also saw three other cloud-like objects which hovered above him no higher than 300 feet. He believes they were about 10 feet in diameter. Steve says that he was frightened of these objects but also fascinated by them, and certainly believed them to be ET craft. He was so overwhelmed by their presence that he extended his arms up towards them and bravely said out loud "Come and take me!" Like before he did not state how this sighting ended, but says that after that he woke up his wife and they happened to see another UFO flying in North Easterly direction several miles away from the location. It was white in colour and performed erratic manoeuvres, moving back and forth and up and down in the sky. Unfortunately this is the only information which Steve provided about these incidents. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 04/06/2009 Last Updated: 27/09/2024   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Occassionally BUFOG gets contacted by someone from much further afield than Birmingham. As our website is active and can be easily found on the internet, we are sometimes the first point of call for witnesses from elsewhere in the world. On 20th May, "Melissa" sent a couple of UFO photographs to BUFOG for analysis.   The photographs were taken at 3.51pm on 7th May 2009 on Highway 401 close to the Dixon Road exit, Toronto, Canada.   The traffic was slow so Melissa decided to take some photographs of a jet plane taking off. It was a cloudy day but quite bright. She did not notice anything out of the ordinary at the time. Upon developing the photographs later, a couple of them showed an unusual black object. The photographs were taken only a second apart, and in previous ones nothing could be seen at all. Below is the first photograph showing the object:   Zoom view of the object: Zoom view of the second photograph showing the change in position of the aircraft in relation to the object: The witness feels sure that the object is something unexplained rather than mundane. She believes this because of the speed that the object moved at, it appeared to cover a great distance in only a second. Also it was not present in the previous photographs at all. The object in the second photograph is half the size that it is in the first.   After analysing the photographs I personally believe that they show a bird in flight. Melissa disagrees with this explanation, stating "If you look at the photographs closely, the plane hardly moved within two frames (you can see this by looking at it in relation to the highway sign), whereas the object moved a massive distance during the same two frames (1 second). The previous photographs of the plane (which were taken seconds earlier) do not contain the object at all." I feel that the reason the object moved such a distance across the photograph is because it was quite close to the camera. I believe that it flew in from the left of the camera diagonally away from the position of the witness. This would explain why it is not present in the previous photos, and also why it reduced in size between the photographs. The shape of the object certainly fits in with it being a bird. It is unsymmetrical with no straight edges. It is interesting that both photographs show a similar shape but I believe that the witness managed to catch two photos of the bird with it’s wings in front of it’s body which is why they are not visible. Below is a photograph of a seagull, which indicates how birds can sometimes look like disc-shaped craft. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2009 Last Updated: 23/09/2024   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used and location details have been omitted   Early Screen Memories   “Mark” has experienced contact since an early age in the form of visitations which would occur in his bedroom at night. However he recalled saw the beings present in these experiences in the form of hedgehogs.   It is common for the beings involved in contact to utilize what is commonly referred to as screen memories. This is where they appear to mask their own appearance, or sometimes the appearance of their craft. The beings can appear in a variety of forms, including animals of various types. It appears particularly prevalent in childhood, just as Mark reports.   Reptilian Visitation   In 1992 when Mark was 12 years old his mother took him to see a child psychologist. She was worried about his fears of the dark and of going to sleep, he was getting bullied at school, and kept talking about the “little blue men” or “the goblins”. Both the psychologist and his mum thought he had an over-active imagination and was just having nightmares.   The discussions with the psychologist and his parents appeared to trigger a vivid flashback to an experience which he believed took place back in 1985 when he was 5 years old. For the first time he was able to remember clearly what had taken place. Prior to the flashback he had a vague recollection of this experience but had assumed it must have been his imagination.   He had gone to bed like usual and was asleep. At some point in the night, he awoke and felt very strange, as if he had been moved around or taken somewhere else in his sleep. He looked around the room and down the surface of his duvet.   Below his feet he could see a lump sticking up. There was something underneath the duvet. Suddenly the lump began moving away from him! He watched it, feeling more intrigued than frightened. Then whatever it was found its way out of the bottom of the duvet at the base of the bed.   As he watched a very short being came out of the shadows and jumped up onto the bed post at his feet. The being was only about 1 ½ foot high. It had blue-grey coloured scaley skin. It’s eyes were yellow with black vertical pupils like a lizard. It had a hole in the side of the head where each ear should be. The being had no clothing on. Its fingers were very like those of a lizard, and he believes it may have had claws. He got the feeling that the being was juvenile.   It was staring directly at him and he was terrified of it. Then it grinned at him, opening its mouth a little to expose short pointy teeth. It was at this point that he began to scream out for his parents. He heard his dad exclaim “Oh no, not again” . He then heard his mother start to come upstairs.   As she did so, the being started to shake its arms and legs around. It floated up into the air above the bed post. Mark got the distinct impression that its strange body movements were what was causing it to lift up. It floated across his bedroom over onto the top of the cupboard.   A moment later his mother entered the room and switched the light on. She asked him what the matter was and he explained about the “little blue man” that was in his room. He pointed out the cupboard and asked her to check, but when she did she found nothing. She managed to comfort him and he settled down to sleep, assuming the being had now gone away.   In the morning his mother came in as ever to dress him. When she did she found two unexplained scars on his body. One of them was on his stomach above his navel, the other on his shin. The scars looked like they were already healed and had been done a long time before, but she was certain they had appeared during the night. Mark still has these scars to this day.   When his mother asked him where he got the scars, he told her that they were caused by the little blue man. She appeared mystified but said to him “Be more careful next time” . It would be easy to assume that this meant that she thought he had had an accident. But Mark got a very strange feeling when she said this that she knew more than she was letting on.   Later in the day his friend “Charlie” came round his house to play. They were in his bedroom and decided they would play a game of Buckaroo. The game was in a box on top of the cupboard, so Mark climbed up to get it down. As he did so he smelt a very unusual odour, the strong smell of ammonia. He looked down at the box. There was dust all over the top of it as he had not taken it down in a while. In the dust were two small footprints. They were only 2 ½ inches long by 1 inch wide but looked like small rounded human-like footprints.   Mark knew at once that these had been caused by the small being he had seen the night before. He showed the footprints to Charlie, who mentioned that they could have been caused by his rubber foot-shaped stamp, which he knew Mark owned.   However this stamp was much larger than the footprints so could not have been the cause. He took the box downstairs to his mother to show her. She remarked that the footprints looked like a duck’s. Mark did not remember anything else about the incident at the time.   When he was 16 years old Mark started looking into the UFO and contact subject. One of the books he decided to read was Communion by Whitley Strieber. He immediately knew that this is what he was going through. There were too many similarities and he recognised the beings that were being described and drawn.   This prompted him to find out more information about the incident which occurred when he was 5. He decided to ask people about it to confirm it took place the way he remembered.   He went to his mother and asked her if she remembered any unusual incidents from when he was young. She thought for a long while and then began talking about the incident and confirmed everything. When he asked her about the box she informed him that she had thrown it away as she didn’t want him to be frightened. Mark was upset by this fact as it had been a genuine piece of evidence of what took place.   One lunch-time at school he asked Charlie if he remembered the incident and again his friend confirmed that it had taken place as he recalled it.     Grey Abduction   One evening in December of 1992 he suddenly felt like he wanted to go to bed early. This feeling was inexplicable as he had a fear of going to sleep and would almost always stay up very late at night. Even his mum remarked on how unusual this was.   He headed up the stairs to his bedroom about 9pm. As he did so he suddenly felt dizzy but did not feel tired at all. He also got a ringing sound in his ears. In time he would come to realise that this was a sign he was going to experience something. On other occasions he would hear beeping sounds or clicking noises.   As always Mark left the bedroom door open with light coming through from the landing, as he has always had a fear of the dark, more than likely caused by his experiences. He got into bed and lay down but couldn’t sleep. He began rolling over in bed, and felt very uncomfortable but couldn’t understand why. He would only remain still for up to a minute before having to shift positions.   As he rolled back over from facing the wall, he put his hand down by his side. It came to rest on something out of place – he immediately recognised it as another very cold hand! He closed his eyes tightly not daring to look. He immediately assumed that a burglar had entered his room and come in from outside, which is how he explained the coldness of the hand to himself.   He lay completely still and was absolutely terrified. He moved his hand over the other hand, which he assumed was attached to someone standing right next to his bed. He felt nails on the hand, but the nails seemed to go right over the tips of the fingers. Looking back he is not sure if they were nails or something else like hard pads. He could not tell how many fingers the hand had.   All of a sudden his panic died right down and a great feeling of calm came over him. He then heard his own voice inside his head. The voice said “It’s sleeping and if you don’t move your hand it won’t wake up”  He decided to go along with this and lay extremely still, hoping that whatever it was would think he was asleep and leave him alone.  He then got a strange feeling that the thought had been implanted into his head, and that perhaps it was the being talking about him rather than the other way around.   He continued to lie very still and after a while dropped off to sleep. An unknown amount of time went by and he awoke again.   Looking out into his room he saw two Grey entities standing still next to his bed, one behind the other. They were about 3 ½ feet tall, had pale grey coloured skin, large black almond-shaped eyes and smooth rounded heads. He is not sure if they were wearing any clothing or not, but they had thin featureless bodies with long slender arms. He somehow sensed that the one at the front was feminine and in charge, and the one behind masculine.   Mark was drawn to stare at the being’s faces. As he did so he all of a sudden saw things from an outside perspective and could see himself lying down in bed. He watched as he floated up into the air in between the beings. They then walked alongside him as he floated out of his bedroom to the bathroom window.   Outside the house in the sky was a large saucer shaped craft with a ring of white lights underneath. He floated out of the window and up into this craft, and then the lights began to rotate and it shot directly upwards into the sky at great speed. This is where his vision of what was going on ended. Mark has no recollection of what took place on the craft or how he was returned to his bedroom.   The next morning over breakfast he asked his mother “Did you come into my room last night?” She said she did not, so then he asked his sister the same thing. They told him that he would ask these type of questions all the time, but he did not realise this fact and he was surprised when they told him. This suggests that he had had other similar experiences before which he was not fully aware of.   Many years later his mother informed him that she had had a UFO sighting back in December 1992. When he asked her the details about this incident he was completely shocked.   She told him that she had been in the kitchen about 9.30pm at night. Suddenly she noticed a strange rippling light effect on the wall, much like reflections off water at a swimming baths. She looked around to see where this light was coming from.   When she looked out of the kitchen window, she looked up and saw a saucer-shaped metallic craft with a ring of revolving lights underneath it. The craft was situated above where the bathroom window was. It looked like the whole area of sky was glowing, like a light being switched on. Suddenly the craft suddenly ascended out of sight extremely fast. As it did so, the glowing light also went off and it was dark again.   When Mark heard this story he was amazed. His mother could not be certain of the date when she saw the craft, but he feels certain that she actually witnessed him being taken.   In recent years someone suggested to Mark that the hand he felt may have been his other hand that he could have accidentally been lying on, which would have made it feel numb and cold. However he dismisses this theory as if this were the case, his other hand would have had to have been twisted into a very unusual position and he was sure he was just lying down as normal on his back. He says the fact that the hand was so physical and real to him is confirmation that the event actually happened, and that he certainly was not asleep or just imagining it.   Mark informed me that in 1994 he found a copy of UFO Magazine for sale. He purchased the magazine out of general interest. Later on he came across an article by an experiencer who described feeling a cold hand on her bed, exactly the same as what had happened to him! He was absolutely shocked, this was yet more confirmation to him that it was a real event.   Conclusion   Mark has had some truly fascinating encounters. At present we only have his testimonial evidence to go on, but the very specific details which he provided convinced me he is an authentic experiencer and not fabricating these incidents.   Due to the flashback he has clear memories of the Reptilian visitation, and also has partial recollection of the later abduction experience, but the memories of seeing “hedgehogs” in his room as a child also point towards other experiences he is yet to remember in more depth.   Mark did not discuss any adult experiences with me so it appears his contact only happened as a child, however there is of course the possibility that it has continued but has been completely wiped from his mind. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 10/04/2009 Last Updated: 18/09/2024   Back in 2008, avid photographer Steve who lives in Saint Helens, Lancashire, witnessed two very different sightings of UFOs. Fortunately he managed to capture both of these incidents on camera, and they are both interesting sightings. This report will look at each sighting in turn.   Pink Orb   In May 2008, Steve purchased a zoom lens for his Canon EOS 350D DIGITAL camera. On the afternoon of 13th May he decided to head out to a local beauty spot to take some nature photographs. It was a bright sunny day with a clear blue sky and very little cloud. At 4.13pm he was crossing a brook via a small bridge when he noticed that the moon was also visible, and decided to take a photograph of it on full zoom. Because the lens of his camera did not have an anti-shake mechanism, he put the camera into rapid fire mode in the hope that one or more frames would turn out sharp. As he did not have his tripod with him, he leant on the rail of the bridge to stabilise the camera. He started to fire off a sequence of photographs. While he was doing this, to his amazement, a glowing object giving off a pinkish coloured light appeared to emerge from behind the moon travelling at an incredible speed considering its apparent distance.   The camera buffer filled up very fast and he had to stop taking photographs for several seconds. Suddenly the object vanished without trace. He hurried back home and uploaded the photographs to his PC. They had all turned out blurred apart from the below photo, which luckily managed to catch the mystery object. It is hard to say what the object could have been. There is the possibility it was space debris burning up as it entered the earth’s atmosphere. This would explain why it suddenly vanished. Could it have been a flare or balloon of some kind? Or perhaps it really was something more out of the ordinary, something that was of a large size and out in space. Unless we receive more information we may never know for sure.   Silhouetted UFO   In October of the same year, Steve was taking prolonged exposure photographs of the full moon at night. One evening he was outside playing around with different exposures, trying to find the optimum setting for getting clear photographs using a Canon 350D and Sigma 70 - 300mm lens. The weather was a bit breezy so he had the camera set to multi shot mode and on a tripod for stability. He filmed for about 20 minutes using lots of different settings.   Afterwards he copied the photographs over to his PC to review them. This is when he noticed the strange shape he had caught on one of the sequences of photographs.   Right near the beginning of one of the sequences, it looks like a semi-circular chunk had been taken out of the upper left edge of the moon. This is due to an object obscuring the view. After several frames it moves to near the base of the photograph. Over the next few frames the object moves across the lower right area of the moon’s surface, and takes on the appearance of a number 3.   Steve wonders what the object or objects could have been. He does not know whether or not it was close to the camera or far away out in space. At the time he forgot to do anything with the photographs, but several months later in January 2009 he remembered them and uploaded the sequence to Youtube.   Once again we have a fascinating piece of evidence which is hard to explain. However the shape is so specific that I believe on this occasion the object was probably a number three helium balloon that somebody had let go of, which drifted in the breeze across the camera view. There are not many other objects which would cause this unusual appearance. But we only really have the shape to go on, I cannot say for definite that it was a balloon. It was a windy day, cold with broken cloud between which sunlight could be seen. Ben was on the phone to his girlfriend. He turned a corner onto Bulan Road and glanced up at the sky.   As he did so he happened to notice something in the sky to the North West just visible over the roofs of the houses. It looked like a white or pale grey sphere, possibly slightly oval in shape. It was at an angle of 20-25 degrees in the sky. It looked to be at quite high altitude and of considerable size.   Ben immediately noticed that the object was completely stationary despite the fact that it was a windy day. This puzzled him, and he described what he was seeing to his girlfriend. He watched the sphere for several minutes, while beginning to walk along Bulan Road. During this time it did not move at all. It then became obscured by a cloud. He continued to watch for a further 5 minutes until the cloud moved away. At this point Ben saw that the object was no longer visible.   He was convinced that he had witnessed something out of the ordinary. Soon afterwards he mentioned it to his colleagues at the hospital where he works.   Ben decided to make a video covering the sighting in his own words:   http://youtu.be/UomyaCIHK_A   Sighting Analysis   The fact that the object remained stationary for a number of minutes in windy weather conditions is one of the most important aspects of this particular case. If the object was nothing more than a drifting inflatable or balloon then it would surely have moved during this time. If it was a tethered advertising balloon of some kind then it would still have been visible after the cloud it was obscured behind moved away. The fact that it vanished from sight also puts out of the question the idea that it was the moon or a star visible through the atmosphere. Ben is sure that it was solid and not some kind of atmospheric anomaly or light reflection.   Although he found it hard to accurately judge the objects size and height, he says it must have been quite large as it was high enough to be obscured by the cloud, and was at an angle of 20-25 degrees. A small object would not have been visible under these conditions.   It appears that it was some kind of controlled object, or something that was not affected by the wind around it. Spheres are one of the more commonly reported UFO types, and it is entirely possible that it was one of these that Ben saw. They are usually metallic silver in colour, but perhaps the object was metallic and was reflecting either the clouds or the sunlight, making it appear white or pale grey in colour. It is unlikely to have been a military drone, these tend to have visible propellers or other apparatus, and there would be no reason for them to fly a drone in the skies over Oxford. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2009 Last Updated: 13/09/2024 Field Incident Analysis The lights witnessed in the field by Simon and Butch were very strange indeed. Firstly the twisting and boomeranging movements observed would immediately discount the majority of alternative explanations. The lights were definitely in the field and not further away because the road that runs behind the field is on a raised bank, and they could be seen lower down than this so must have been closer. Occasionally cars drive along the road, but their lights look just as you would expect them too – white small points of light that pass behind the hedgerow across the field. It is unfeasible that Simon mistook this for what was observed. The lights were not coming from clear points like people waving torches around, they flowed and shimmered. Simon found it very difficult to describe what he saw, but he compared it to sunlight reflecting off water. There were red and blue tinges to the lights observed, he found it very tough to state exactly what colour they were. The bar of white light with red at each end left a trail of light behind it and flew on an erratic path, and was only visible for a couple of seconds. If we do assume that the lights were caused by something out of the ordinary, they could possibly have been caused by energy surrounding another object which was out of sight in the dip of the field. This could possibly explain the unusual effects that were observed. The orange orb also present at the time was positioned in front or inside of the trees that run along the left side of the field. Again its appearance and movement patterns are very hard to explain. Its colour does not fit with it being a helicopter, and if it was it would not have been down below the height of the trees. Also it was a very still evening and absolutely silent. When we headed to the field on the 5th of January it was again extremely quiet, and it was possible to make out the sound of aircraft from very far away. If the orange orb was a helicopter, Simon would certainly have been able to hear it. When the object did move from its position, its movement patterns were bizarre, and also seemed to correspond with passing traffic on the road behind the field. It certainly seems like it was doing this for a purpose, and was perhaps watching the vehicles as they went by. If it was a remote controlled object of some kind, what would be the reasoning behind flying it in this remote location at this time of night? If both it and the lights in the field were some sort of clever hoax, surely this would have been created in an area where it would definitely have been observed rather than out over a farmer’s field. When Simon returned to the barn with his sons, they witnessed seemingly completely different objects. If they were the same, then they certainly both appeared and acted in a different manner. The red orb which was seen in the field on the opposite side of the road is interesting. Any vehicles driving through fog after dark would almost certainly have had white headlights so it is unlikely they mistook this for something more unusual. Also Rob saw the light split into two, perform manoeuvres and then reform into one again. This would of course put most normal explanations out of the picture. The orange light seen in the sky on the horizon may have possibly been an aircraft, although their lights do not usually appear this colour. Perhaps it was the same orange orb that was seen during the initial encounter, it is impossible to say for sure. All Simon knows is that the red orb seemed to start moving at roughly the same moment that the orange light was in line with it. As for the unusual object which had a light that beamed around it numerous times, it does not seem like any conventional aircraft would be responsible. Everyone present saw this object so there is no doubt that it was there. But what could cause such unusual patterns of light? Simon feels that the object was extremely large and a number of miles away from where they were situated. He believes it may have been over Newton Longville but cannot be certain. This is a village, so it is highly unlikely that the object seen was caused by laser lights from a night club or other function. The abduction of Simon and Mark which apparently took place towards the end of the evening is more than likely the trigger for the trauma that Simon was experiencing for a number of days after December 30th. It is interesting to note that so far Mark has not displayed any signs of trauma, possibly the event has been blocked from his mind to a greater degree. It is unknown why Simon originally remembered Butch being on board the craft rather than Mark. Perhaps he was subconciously substituting the image of his son with that of the dog. Or perhaps Simon was also taken earlier in the evening when he first saw the lights in the field, although this seems less likely as no missing time was experienced at this point. As you will read in the regression transcript, Simon does not remember anything else about the experience, it seems that it is still partially blocked from his memory. As for the unusual markings on his body, Simon is not prone to sleep walking or moving around in his dreams so it is unlikely that these marks were self-inflicted. It is possible that the marking on his shin was caused at some point on board the craft which he cannot currently remember. The V-shaped scar may also be from a previous contact experience. In Ann Andrew’s book Abducted, it mentions Ann receiving a similar shaped marking: “The pain persisted all day. After dinner she was sitting in the kitchen, inspecting her swollen joint, when Jason came in. ‘You’ll find a small scar at the back of your knee, Mum’ he told her, matter-of-factly. ‘It’s where they’ve inserted a tiny silicone chip. Don’t know what it’s for, but I remember when they put mine in. They said my knee would hurt for a couple of days.’ Ann got up, took a small mirror from the window ledge and with Jason’s help manoeuvred it into a position where she could inspect the back of her knee. She could see a small V-shaped incision. Two days later she woke to find the swelling had subsided, the redness had gone and there was no more pain.” Another interesting aspect of the case is the seemingly spontaneous healing of Simon’s chest infection. Up until the evening of the incident for the previous few months he had suffered coughing fits, and could not run far before finding himself out of breath. He has doctor’s records showing that year after year he has had this ailment. Prior to the incident, he had put off going to the doctor’s but was certainly not well. This was verified by his family on my first visit. Early into his walk on the 30th December he heard the words “As fit as you were when you were fifteen” in his head. Could this have been a message informing him that something was going to happen which would take his illness away? After watching the unexplained lights at the field, he felt a strong urge to return back home to get his family. He ran the entire distance in only several minutes, but Debbie confirmed that when he arrived he barely seemed out of breath. Perhaps this was due to adrenalin brought on by the situation, however since the incident he has not been coughing at all and has felt well. It is as if he was somehow healed on that evening. Was this the entire reason behind the series of events? There are numerous other cases where contactees have reported being healed during abduction experiences. Glowing Orb UFO Sighting For a number of days after 30th December, Simon was very paranoid about UFOs and watched out for anything unusual in the sky. Every evening he had been out to the location where he saw the lights in the field, he still continues to do this whenever he can. On the 2nd January he was returning from the field around 8pm in the evening. There was a bit of cloud cover but it was a still evening. Looking into the sky in front of him he suddenly saw what looked like a glowing white orb of light travelling across the sky to the East with a wavy trail behind it. It was only visible for a few seconds but he remembers seeing it as being semi-transparent, the object did not look solid. He says the object was moving quite fast but slower than a “shooting star” would. It did not travel the whole length of the sky to the horizon, but instead seemed to fade out. It was completely silent. Simon wonders whether this incident could have been caused by his mind playing tricks on him due to his anxiety at the time, but at the same time he is also quite sure that he saw the object. Glowing Cylindrical UFO Sighting It was about 2am on the morning of 3rd January 2009, and Simon got out of bed to use the bathroom. For an unknown reason he felt compelled to look out of the window at the sky. The window has frosted glass so he opened it and peered out into the night. In the South West he could see what looked like a diagonal cylinder shape of white light, like “several stars stuck one on top of the other”. He watched it for several minutes. He then decided to go and get his binoculars from his van. When he went back to the window the object was still present so he looked at it through the binoculars. He could still not identify what it was. He watched it for about 10 minutes before deciding to go to bed. UFO Dream Between 24th-28th January 2009 Simon had an interesting dream. He cannot remember the precice night. In the dream he was out in his van with a number of other undetermined people. When the dream began it was daylight and he was parked near the bridge at Newton Longville. Suddenly two green and white UFOs flew overhead, descended and landed either side of the van. As the craft to Simon's right touches down, immediately there was a figure at the drivers window. The figure looked like a tall man with tanned skin, chiseled features, piercing black eyes and long dark wavy hair down to his shoulders. He was wearing a tight fitting green suit that looked like lycra. The figure tapped on Simon's window, bowed his head and then frowned, issueing a telepathic command for the driver to get out of the van. At this moment Simon then found he was in the passenger seat of the van instead, and watching another person get out of the van in his place. Once outside this person and the figure turn and walk off in the direction of the craft. Suddenly Simon found he was once again in the drivers seat. He immediately drove the van away, fearful but also grateful that the figure did not take him. When Simon woke up he found some unexplained markings on his body again. There was a finger-shaped pressure mark on his right arm, as well as a small scratch (Which he admits could have happened at work). Further down his right arm was another red sore area which bruised over the next few days. Unfortunately he did not manage to get photographs of these. Black Diamond UFOs Sighting On the evening of 1st February Simon decided to take his dog out for a walk. He also invited along Mark as he wanted to talk over what took place back in December. He decided it would be good to walk down to the sighting location. It was snowing when they left the house but neither of them minded. It was around 8pm when they reached the field where the December 30th incident began. It was windy, and the majority of the sky was cloudy, but not over where they were standing. The snow was falling as a light powder. They climbed up onto the disused railway embankment and were walking past the field when suddenly Mark spotted two objects in the sky. He pointed them out to Simon, who at first thought the objects were aeroplanes. They had red and white static lights on them and were over the field about 300 feet up. One object was following the other, and appeared to be about 200 foot behind the first. They were travelling towards them on a circular path a bit slower than a plane. As the objects approached the witnesses could see they were black diamond shaped objects, with a white light at each corner and a red light in the middle underneath. The first object was about the size of a jumbo jet, the second one a little smaller. As both objects flew over the witnesses could hear a low humming sound coming from them. They continued their path and the witnesses continued to watch them as they flew across the skyline. Both objects came round full circle. On the second pass after they had flown over the witnesses again, suddenly the second object stopped and immediately changed direction coming back towards them. Then a bright white phosphorous light came on at the front of the object as if it was watching the witnesses. It flew overhead and continued on a straight path without slowing down until both objects had vanished from sight. Simon estimates that they watched them for at least 20 minutes. The following morning, Simon found a red raised welt on his left thumb. It was about the size of a 5 pence coin, and had a burning sensation. He did not remember touching anything which would have caused the welt. After about half an hour it had completely vanished. Unfortunately he did not take a photograph of it. Obviously this sighting may be linked to what occurred on 30th December. Is it possible that the objects seen were UFOs returning to the same location? Or were they perhaps watching the witnesses rather than the area? Simon is adamant that the objects seen were not normal aircraft. He could clearly see that they were solid black diamond-shaped craft. The fact that the second one seemed to stop and change direction almost instantly is also very interesting, this manoeuvre would not be possible in a conventional aircraft. Also the noise they made when overhead did not sound like a plane or helicopter. He believes that this was a genuine sighting, however says that they did not look the same as anything he saw back in December. The red welt that appeared on Simon’s thumb is also intriguing. Was it caused by something mundane, perhaps something that he had touched while out walking that caused irritation? Or could it be a sign of a further abduction? Perhaps when the second object changed course and shone a light at the witnesses, something else took place that they cannot currently remember. We have no photographic evidence to go on but the marking is still an aspect of this incident that must be considered. Contact Incident On the night of February 12th 2009 a lot of unusual activity took place. Simon went to bed and was about to drop off to sleep when Butch started whimpering. He then suddenly felt his whole body vibrating. It felt like electrical pulses running through him. This continued for about 30 seconds. Simon felt that there was a presence in the room, but he could only move his eyes, his body was paralyzed. He felt as if he was tightly wrapped in something which was restricting his movement. He could feel his legs being moved and twisted around by something. This un-nerved him but he was not frightened. At this moment he appeared to black out. He then experienced a very unusual "dream". In it he got out of bed and walked to the door of his room, but when he did it took him twenty paces to do so. The surroundings looked like his room but were much too big. He stepped out of his room travelled downstairs to the lounge. When he did so, he did not step down the stairs but glided without walking. There he met two of his pet dog, but they were both standing on two legs rather than four. One of them smiled at him. He remembers patting it on the head. Again his lounge felt different in some way, it didn't look quite right. Simon awoke to find the time was 2.20am. He felt compelled to go and look out of the window. When he did so, he saw a horizontal row of lights moving away from his house. The lights looked too low in the sky to be a plane. In the morning he found a number of unexplained markings on his body, as follows: Simon also found that one of his nostrils had dried blood in it, and he does not suffer from nose bleeds normally. Within a week the markings had all disappeared. Contact Incident Regression Transcript When I took Simon for the hypnotic regression, the hypnotherapist was especially interested in this incident, and at Simon's request took him back to it to see what came out. Below is the section of the transcript relating to it: D: That’s alright. That was the spontaneous place, so we’ll take you to the 12th then, like you asked me, just wanted to know if there was anything else that might come up. So you told me about the 12th of February, where you’re seeing everything whizzing around you, so start from there. S: Actually it’s the 11th. D: 11th? S: Yeah. D: Ok. So work your way through as if you were watching a fast forward of the day, to the point that is important and start telling me what happened. S: I’m not seeing it, it’s erm, I’ll be taking it from memory. It’s not like being played in front of me, I’m not... D: It doesn’t matter, I mean how you recall is not important, the only thing that we need is that you start on a thread, and you follow that thread forwards, and you’ll be surprised that more things will start coming through. But as long as you’re on a train, like a train on a track, and you follow it, you don’t need to re-live it, ‘cause obviously it’s something that happened in the past and all you need to do is remember it normally. Everything else is just for effect. S: It was erm...I noticed it about an hour or two hours into being awake on the 11th. It was just pixels flying around in a clockwise motion. It’s erm...I was the centre. D: Yep. S: And...I didn’t want to mention anything to the fam or work partner, just kept it to myself. But then they’re just flying around me...all day. And err...of the evening. Erm...when I come home..it’s erm...I’ve gone up to lay down ‘cause I felt tired. The darkness, was just...was just like falling in a hole. It just...encroached in on my vision. And I had to literally pull myself up. And I went back downstairs. Erm, I don’t know if I’m hypnotised. D: I can do a few more things for you don’t worry about that. About being hypnotised, it’s what you do and what happens, how you feel, not likely to feel much different...you certainly won’t be unconscious, I’ll have to take you very deep. I’ll take you a lot deeper than this, that’s into the realms of relaxation, there’s nothing wrong with that, you’ll still be able to hear me. S: Ok. D: I can deepen you as much as you want. S: Do you want me to take it from err the moment where I’ve...I’ve gone up to bed, where err on the 12th D: Yeah. S: It’s err midnight and...I’ve walked up the stairs to bed and Kaiser’s come with me. And I’ve laid down and Kaiser’s laid down by the side of the bed. And err...as I’ve laid down my head hits the pillow, Kaiser just starts crying. And I’ve tried to, he’s my best mate, I’ve tried to get up but I just cannot move. D: Yeah. S: And it’s just got dark and I’ve just...I’ve just gone. That’s the hard bit, it’s not being able to help Kaiser. And err...the next thing I know, I mean, it could have...It was midnight exactly ‘cause I’ve looked at the clock before I lay down. The next thing I know is...is my body is just vibrating. Erm, but it’s pulsing as well as vibrating, it’s like everything in my body is just rattling. D: So what happened next? S: There’s someone in the room. There’s....there’s others in the room, but I can’t see ‘em. But I know there’s others in the room. I feel my legs being pulled. My legs are being twisted. D: How did you feel about that? S: I don’t mind. D: Ok. S: It’s them. D: Did they seem familiar to you? S: I knew it was them straight away, when I woke up and my eyes were open. My body vibrating, I just...it was them, I knew it was them. They didn’t bother me. I was happy. It was...it was brilliant. D: It’s good to know that they keep around watching us. So what happened after they were pulling your legs? S: After that I’ve just drifted back off to sleep. D: So do you feel that you missed any other events of that night? S: Yeah. D: Between when? S: Between the vibration and when I actually woke up. D: Yeah. S: ‘Cause I woke up, and the next thing I remember...was...waking up and it wasn’t my room. D: Ok so what did it look like? S: He wanted it to look like my room but it was too big. It was way too big, but it was my bed, and it was...it was my bed. It’s my bed. D: They can do that. S: And it’s my room but...it took me twenty paces to get to the other side, and my room’s small. D: Were you on your own then? S: I don’t think I was. D: So, could you see anyone around you or could you sense them? S: I could feel ‘em. D: Yeah. S: I put my...I put whatever it was on me over the wardrobe, but I don’t know if it was the wardrobe. D: Yeah. That’s the thing, they can convince you, I mean you talk about hypnosis, they can convince you at such a good level that you’re seeing things that aren’t really as they are. S: Yeah. D: So they seem more familiar so you don’t freak out. S: Yeah. D: So, you know, they will make their house look like your house, so that there isn’t a sudden transition, so it’s gradual. S: I’ve walked to the stairs and hall, there’s no...I’m walking down the stairs without going down them. D: You’re properly awake at this moment? S: It was dream-like, it felt dream-like, it was like I was...erm...under anaesthetic. D: So you were conscious but not normal conscious? S: Yeah. And there’s two Kaisers at the bottom, or there’s one, there’s one Kaiser, and he’s stood there on two legs, and he’s smiling. D: Well that’s another trick they do. S: And then the other one joins in and he runs, he’s running like a child D: Yeah. S: He runs like a...like a four or five year old. And he’s Kaiser as well, but he looks slightly different. D: Yeah exactly. They’re masters of disguise and you know, I think you’re ready now to see that...the animals are a very common thing that they make themselves up to look like. ‘Cause you know, the third eye clairvoyance is actually a two way process, you can pick things up, but they can interfere with what you’re picking up as well, they can put their own signal on it for a while. If you lift their signal away, they’ve filtered it a bit, you’ll be able to see what’s really there. There’s nothing scary now, you get used to it and they won’t need to use it anymore either, and you’ll be able to see it as it really is. They were just doing it to help you at the time. S: They took me to the front room. D: Yeah. S: And...he’s at the television. D: Yeah. S: It’s not my front room. D: So you had the discretion then to realise you weren’t quite where you thought you were. S: Everything’s wrong. But that’s...that’s not my settee and...my telly isn’t there. The chest of drawers isn’t there. Looks like it, but it isn’t mine. D: Did you think that was odd or did you realise where you probably were? S: Ahh...I knew it was odd, and I patted right...I patted the first one on the head. It’s confusing. D: What happened once you realised you weren’t quite in the front room and there were two dogs there that weren’t quite your dog? S: I’ve turned the telly off, I’ve come round to go upstairs, I’ve just turned round. But they’re not there anymore. D: Yeah. S: Very weird how.......Now I’m in my bed. D: Ok. Well you’ve obviously filled in quite a bit of material from there, so what we’ll do from now on, is you’ve got that experience now... S: But I knew that from the time. D: Yeah. S: But it’s...it’s what happened in between...I don’t know what happened. D: Well if you can remove any influence that they had over your memories. ‘Cause obviously you’ve only got one dog haven’t you? S: Yeah. D: Not two, so it’s quite easy for them to disguise themselves either physically or energetically to anything they want. So, if you can allow them to shift their shape slightly more back to who they really are, now look at the differences, look at the differences between a dog and their version of it. S: He’s smiling. D: Yeah, start looking at them really closely, have a really good look at them now ‘cause you’ve got a chance to do it, you didn’t then. S: A Grey. D: Yeah. See, they’re our friends really, they’ve never hurt anyone I’ve spoken to. So they’re happy there for you to see them as they really are. So whatever work they’re doing, they’re there to help, certainly not there to do any harm. So now they’re ok with you seeing them as they really are, you’re ok seeing them as they really are. And where do you think you actually were, ‘cause you can change the influence over the err room as well now. Pick up the things that were wrong, pick up the things that were different, obviously it was bigger size, is there anything else that is obviously different about the room? S: I’m just seeing my room. When David regressed Simon, it was discovered that the "dream" which Simon had had was probably an abduction, and that both the real surroundings and the beings were disguised to look like something familiar to him. This has been reported many times before in contact cases. Under hypnosis he was able to finally see what the two "dogs" really were - Greys. He could still not recall any details about his true surroundings, this information appeared to still be blocked from his memory. Contact Incident Flashback In a video call with Simon in March 2022 he informed me that back 2018 he had a daylight flashback relating to the 12th February 2009 incident in which he recollected more of what took place. There did not appear to be a specific trigger for this recollection, it just suddenly came back to him while thinking about it. He remembers being out of his physical body and floating up at the top corner of his bedroom looking down on himself. He saw two Greys standing in the room alongside the bed. It was light enough in the room to see that they were about 4 feet in height, had pale grey skin and were unclothed. The beings appeared to be performing an operation on his right eyeball. They had seemingly removed it from its socket and he could see it hanging down the side of his cheek. He does not recall whether they were holding any instruments or not. Relating this flashback to his original concious recollection, along with what came out in the regression, it seems likely that this was a memory of what actually took place and that the dream in which he met the dual replication of his pet dog was a screen memory to mask the proceedings. This is of course just a theory, but it may explain why there were two dogs present in the dream. Unexplained Mist Not long after the February 12th incident, Simon started to notice an unusual "mist/gas" around him at certain times. He first noticed it while out at the December 30th field location after dark. Simon sees this mist moves around him in waves. It is more visible at night but he has also seen it in the daytime. Sometimes it appears to glow. Simon feels it is constantly around him, but needs the right light conditions to be noticeable. He believes it may be some sort of after effect of being in close proximity to a craft, or their way of watching/monitoring him. Both Rob and Mark have seen this mist moving around both Simon and themselves while out at the field. Debbie has tried to see it but so far has been unable to. On the evening of 1st August after the regression, when I accompanied Simon on a skywatch out near the field, he said at various times that he could see the mist around himself. I could not see anything. Unidentified mists/gases are mentioned in Mary Rodwell's book Awakening. They are listed as one of the many signs that an individual may be experiencing contact. The book describes how sometimes contactees gain the ability to see the aura of living things, and that sometimes this aura can appear as a mist. It is possible that only the people that have experienced part of Simon's ongoing contact experiences can see this mist - this would explain why both myself and Debbie cannot see it, yet Simon, Rob and Mark can. Several times Simon has seen a vision of an old man's face seemingly come from the mist. The man looks over 60, has grey-white neck length hair pulled back from his face, and a moustache. These visions can last for a number of minutes, and afterwards later in the night Simon will always drop off to sleep quickly. Dream Of Daoran On the night of 30th March Simon had an interesting dream that may well be linked to his contact experiences. In the dream he found himself in a wide area of green grass. He felt himself getting pulled to the right but his feet remained on the floor. Then suddenly his feet were lifted off the floor and he was swung to the right. He was propelled forward towards a wall. He felt a little nervous at this point but realised he was in safe hands. He did not hit the wall but was then turned and propelled towards other solid objects such as walls and posts in the area. It felt like an invisible rope dragging him towards them and then redirecting him at the last moment. Simon felt it was a game of trust and they were testing him. He then stopped moving. A lady walked towards him and asked him to play. He immediately knew that her name was Grace even though she did not say this to him. She wanted him to play a game. On the grass was a line of poles and she asked him to run through them like a slalom. Simon wasn’t interested in the game, he wanted to talk to the lady, so he ran through it as fast as possible. The next thing he remembers, Simon is inside an unknown house with the lady. She then introduced him to a strange looking being named Daoran. The being had a pale face, thick chestnut-red coloured hair, and low set eyes with what looked like a bony plate under each (although this could have been decoration of some kind). He was wearing a long light green trenchcoat, dark green polo necked top and trousers. He had no shoes on and his feet looked unusually wide. He spoke in a croaky voice and complained about walking on a pastel that had been left on the floor and that it was all over his feet. Simon knew the being had a great sense of humour, but was not aware how he knew this. He asked Daoran a question about the evening of 30th December 2008 and then immediately woke up. In his hypnotic regression in August 2009, Simon mentioned Daoran by name, and referred to him as a being he was in contact with, which tends to suggest that this was more than just an unusual dream. The following night after dreaming about Daoran, Simon dreamt about seeing a triangular shaped craft. The craft had rounded points and a green and red stripe on one side of each point. He does not remember anything else or whether the craft interacted with him in any way. Disc Craft Dream A couple of days later he had another dream, this time of a massive disc-shaped craft in the sky. It was silver and metallic, but it’s surface looked molten and continuously shifted like mercury. This dream recurred about 5-6 times throughout the night but Simon cannot remember anything that happened in between. Simon has had other dreams since these that may have a connection to his contact experiences. Could they be revealing to him things which have taken place or are to take place? Perhaps when he has met unusual beings in his dreams this is their way of contacting him directly. On the other hand, these could be nothing more than dreams, brought on by his new found interest in the subject due to the other experiences he has had. Unidentified Rash It was the middle of April 2009 when Simon first became aware of an unusual rash which had appeared on his legs. It was made up of red blotches that strangely appeared to be in rough square and triangular shapes. The rash was not itchy but gave a slight burning sensation when he was in the bath. He first went to his local chemist to ask if they knew what it was and if they had any cream for it. The lady behind the counter said that she had never seen anything like it before. She advised him to go to see his doctor about it. When he did, his doctor also said she had never seen it before, and couldn't understand why it wasn't itchy. The rash lasted about two weeks. During this time it slowly moved up his legs and onto his chest. As it would clear up in one place it would appear next to where it was. Simon was left with slight scars at the top of his legs. Did the rash have a natural explanation? Or was it in some way related to Simon's experiences? Dream Of Grey Being This incident involved both Simon and Mark. Ever since the 30th December 2008 incident, Simon has had very vivid dreams (some of which may not be dreams at all). In this night's dream it was night-time and he walked out of his room onto the landing. He was then suddenly gripped around the chest by a small Grey. This being had pale grey coloured skin and was not wearing any clothing. It was about 4 foot high with black sideways tear drop shaped eyes. He was not at all frightened by the being and felt he could trust it. When it gripped him, he felt like he couldn't breath or call out, it was very constricting. He thought that the Grey wanted him not to shout, and in response he telepathically told it not to worry and that he would keep quiet. The being let him go. It then asked him to go and get Mark. He did this but he accidentally woke up Tim. At this point he noticed that there were two Greys present not one. He and Mark tried to conceal the Greys from Tim who had stepped out onto the landing. They succeeded and Tim went back to bed. The Greys then touched Simon and Mark on their elbows and they all floated up through the ceiling, through the roof of the house and up into a craft. Simon remembers trying to grab hold of the roof tiles as he moved away from them. The craft was extremely big and circular shaped. Simon cannot remember many details about the interior of the craft. But he does remember seeing a man who was lecturing about something to a number of individuals. The man was wearing grey and brown robes that hung down from his shoulders. Simon is not certain but he feels it may have been the same old man who's face he had seen in visions several times before (See Mid February 2009 incident). He cannot remember anything else about the dream. Soon afterwards Simon found out that Mark had had almost the same dream, but the Grey had asked him to go and get Rob instead of Simon. Initially he denied having any dreams of relevance. Later that evening, Simon began to tell Mark of the dream he had. At this point Mark burst into tears and admitted he had had what appeared to be the same dream on the same night. He then proceeded to tell Simon and Debbie the rest of the dream, and other than the involvement of Rob rather than Simon, the details fitted perfectly! Both Simon and Mark independantly drew pictures of one of the beings they had seen in their dream. The similarities between the two drawings are obvious. Note especially the shape of the head and thin-ness of the eyes. Humanoid Beings Vision On an evening towards the end of June, Simon once again headed out to the location of the field to walk his dog. He was standing on the railway bridge which lies along the embankment next to the field, when he suddenly had a vision, which only lasted for a split-second. He saw the same figure he had seen in the dream which took place at the end of January - tall, tanned skin, chiseled features, black eyes, long dark wavy hair. However this time instead of a green skin tight suit, the figure was wearing off-white coloured robes. Behind the figure there were four others standing in a line, who looked very similar and were wearing the same clothing. Simon is unsure whether or not this was a vision of something which occured back in December. The Rash Returns Towards the start of June 2009, the rash which appeared on Simon back in April now appeared on his son Mark. As before it slowly moved across his body, and finally cleared up in the later part of July. It looked and acted identically to before. Note that it affected the same son as who was abducted with Simon on 30th December, and who has had a matching abduction-themed "dream" with Simon. Orbs Around The House On many occassions since the 30th December 2008 incident, Simon and his sons have witnessed small white orbs which fly past their vision very fast. They look like small balls of light, and have been seen both in their house and outside. Simon has managed to pick them up on photographs such as those shown below: Here is a close up of one of the orbs: Simon is adamant that the anomalies on these photos are not dust particles or reflections in the camera lens. They have also tried asking them to appear in a certain position on the photo prior to taking it, and they have apparntly done as they were asked! Below is a photo of Mark pointing up into the air, and above him you can see that one of the small white orbs has appeared: Despite this apparent intelligence, there is still the possibility these are dust particles and their appearance at certain moments is merely coincidental. Possible Being Photograph On one of the photographs Simon took in an attempt to capture orbs, instead he caught a strange dark form crouching down close to the sofa in the lounge. There is a coat hanging above, but Simon says that the shape below was much too low to be part of it. He thinks he can make out a face, arm and part of the chest. He is by no means certain, this could just be shadows cast in a strange way, but it is still worthy of inclusion. Due to the small size of the scanned photograph, there is obvious heavy pixelation, and it is hard to see much at all close up. Golden Light Streams During the night of Saturday 13th March, Simon suddenly woke up. It was still completely dark in the bedroom, but looking up at the ceiling he noticed what looked like several golden wavy "streams" of light. They appeared to be hanging down over the bed, and were of varying sizes. He was certain that they were not caused by light coming into the room from outside. He tried to wake up fully but he felt himself drop back off to sleep. Later he woke up a second time, and could again see the odd lights. Again he tried to force himself to wake up but felt that he could not and drifted off again. In the morning he woke up and fully remembered seeing the lights. He has never seen anything like it, before or since. Voices Sometimes when Simon is just about to drift off to sleep he hears voices directly in his mind. One time he heard a robotic sounding voice clearly say the word "No". On another occassion he heard what sounded like a female voice ask him if he wanted a cup of tea. This was of course bizarre at the time, but later he remembered that he had jokingly asked the ETs to show themselves and they could chat and have a nice cup of tea! He wonders whether this voice was in response to this request. Visions Of Landscapes On other occassions when Simon shuts his eyes, he gets visions of strange futuristic landscapes. These occur while he is still awake. He has no idea of the meaning of them but feels sure it is not just his imagination. The visions begin with him moving backwards down a dark tunnel with ever decreasing light. Then he will see either unusual rocky landscapes or sometimes rows of futuristic looking structures. In one vision he saw three people walking through a barren landscape heading away from his position along a path. The Glowing UFO Returns It was around 10pm on Thursday 18th March 2010. Simon was taking Butch for a walk on the normal route down to the field where he had had the experience back in December 2008. As he walked across the local park, he noticed what looked like a bright star in the distance to the West. For an unknown reason he felt attracted to it in some way, and couldn't stop looking at it. Six minutes later, as he walked past the garden allotments which lead to the fields, suddenly the "star" flashed really brightly, and then began slowly moving to the South! Simon immediately realised it was not a star at all. The experience actually brought a tear to his eye - he felt that the object was there for him and showing him that they were still around. He continued to watch the object for a couple of minutes until it had vanished into the distance. He was certain that it was not a helicopter as he could see no navigation lights, just a single bright white light. Orange Disc UFO Sighting On Saturday 20th March 2010, as usual Simon decided to take Butch for a walk over to the field. It was about 10pm and a very clear evening, with the stars visible. He was out at the field, when he decided to look up into the sky. He immediately spotted what looked like a disc-shaped orange coloured object. It was moving very fast to the South on a straight course, and appeared to be about 300-400 feet high. It looked quite large in size but this was hard to accurately judge. Due to the speed it was moving at, Simon only got to see it for a couple of seconds before it had vanished out of sight. Simon will be sending me a drawing of the object, once I receive it I will add it below. More Body Markings On Sunday 21st March 2010, the morning after sighting the orange UFO, Simon awoke and found some more unusual markings on his skin. There was what looked like a reddish triangle on one arm, and on his leg was two triangles facing each other. The triangle on his arm was about 7mm across. None of the markings caused any pain when he tried touching them. The markings persisted for a number of days, and Simon was able to take photographs of them. He felt that the triangle shape on his arm was some sort of skin layer removal. Taking the poor quality of the photographs into account, it can still be seen that none of these markings are very defined. There may be a normal explanation for them, however it is very interesting that Simon found them the morning after sighting a UFO. Tic-Tac UFO Sightings By 2018 Simon had moved house to Turneys Drive in Wolverton Mill, a district in the North West of Milton Keynes. When I spoke with him and his new partner Julie in 2022 they informed me of a couple of sightings of a tic-tac shape glowing UFO over their house. The first of these incidents took place in July or August 2020. The couple were lying down on their bed about 9.30pm. Due to the time of year the sun was only just starting to set. It was a pleasant and relatively still evening. Their room has a skylight in it, and they happened to glace through this at the sky overhead. It was now that they noticed an unusual object hovering directly above them at high altitude. It was the shape of a tic-tac sweet and appeared to be glowing white. It had hazy edges similar to a cloud but was absolutely stationary in the sky, and there were no other clouds anywhere near to it. They estimate it was at least the height that a passenger jet would fly at (35000 feet). If so this means it must have been quite large, as it looked bigger than a plane would at this height. They continued to watch the strange object. The sighting was extremely extensive. They watched it for until around 4am. The sun set and the stars came out but the object remained visible, implying that it was indeed glowing. For the six and a half hours they observed it for the object did not change position at all! Other clouds could be seen passing at a lower altitude, temporarily obscuring it from time to time. However when they did the glow from the object could still be seen through the cloud. The couple have smartphones but did not attempt to take any photographs or video of the object as they believed due to the distance and lack of light it would not come out. They eventually dropped off with it still visible in the sky. In the morning it was no longer present. This was not the only time that the object was witnessed. Around midnight on 10th February 2022 the couple were once again lying in bed. On this occassion Simon had dropped off to sleep, but Julie was still wide awake. She looked out of the sky light and was surprised to once again see the same object. It was in the same position as before and looked identical. She watched it for about 3 hours. Like before it did not move at all during this time. She decided not to wake up Simon, and once again did not attempt to capture it on film. In the morning Julie claims that she felt unusually tired for an unknown reason. After being up a few minutes she happened to once again look out of the sky light. The window is at a diagonal so it is also possible to see the sky to the South through it. She noticed a black oblong shaped object in the distance. Unfortunately she could not see it clearly as she had just got up and not put her glasses on. The unusual looking object glided smoothly away to the South East and was soon out of sight. She did not think to grab her phone and try to catch it on camera, as the sighting was only brief and quite distant. About 10 minutes later after she had got dressed and came downstairs, Julie wiped her upper lip with her hand. She noticed blood on her fingers. It appeared that her nose had been bleeding. This was confusing to her as she says that she never gets nosebleeds. In the afternoon she decided to do the washing up, and rolled up her sleeves. When she did she felt something on her outer right forearm. She looked and noticed a number of small raised scabs in a rough square shape. They looked similar to the injuries you might get from needle injections. Their positioning looked interesting enough for her to take some photographs, especially given the fact that Simon had informed her about the body markings which he had found on previous occasions: Julie says that the marks remained visible on her arm for about a week before vanishing. They did not hurt to the touch. The tic-tac shaped UFO which was seen on two occassions is intriguing. I wondered whether it could possibly have been a lenticular cloud, given the hazy edge to it. These can sometimes appear in a relatively clear sky and have a very unusual solid look to them. Due to the cloud layers and air currents at different altitudes it would also be possible for other clouds to appear at a lower altitude and move below a lenticular cloud while it remained stationary. However lenticular clouds do not emit glowing light. They can certainly reflect sunlight and look extremely unusual, but Simon and Julie reported that on both occasions the object was present long after the sun had set, with no change to its appearance throughout the extended sightings. They stated that it was possible to see the glow coming from it through the other clouds as they moved across the sky and temporarily obscured it. It is also interesting that the object appeared at precisely the same location on two different occassions. The witnesses are certain that it was not caused by the reflection of a glowing light in the sky light window. Logically if it was it would have also been seen on other occasions too if this were the case. As the black oblong shaped object was not seen clearly by Julie it is impossible to say whether it was something unusual or not. She said that it did not move like a bird and glided away with no vertical drift. However this cannot rule out other explanations including a balloon, blimp or distant drone. Even though it is interesting that Julie found the markings on her arm soon after having two UFO sightings, there is no evidence that she may have been taken during the night. The positioning of the dots may be coincidental and it is possible that they are insect bites, perhaps bites from a bed bug. Insects can sometimes bite numerous times in the same location creating such markings. Conclusion It seems certain that Simon has had numerous encounters with what can only be described as UFOs throughout his life. While some of the sightings could be put down to possible misidentification, there are others which seem to defy mundane explanation. I have no doubt that Simon and his family are telling me the truth about what they have witnessed, both in regards to the many incidents described in this report. They come across as very rational and logical people, especially Simon, who has tried his hardest to come up with alternative explanations for what he witnessed. Also remember that he is gaining nothing through telling me about these incidents. He is not seeking attention or money through these revelations, quite the opposite in fact. I believe there is sufficient evidence to propose that Simon has been in contact with ET beings for most of his life, and that the incident of 30th December has "awakened" him to their presence. It remains to be seen whether or not more information is revealed to him about his experiences. It also seems that at least Mark, and possibly his other sons are also involved, but to what degree we cannot currently say. Whether you believe Simon's many UFO sightings and contact experiences are extraterrestrial in nature or not, the fact still remains that something extraordinary appears to have occurred towards the end of 2008 in the outskirts of Bletchley. Hopefully in time we will gain more of a complete understanding as to what actually took place. Until then it remains one of the most fascinating cases I have investigated.
