Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2014 Last Updated: 09/06/2025   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used   Lit Orange Oval   Around 8pm on 1st October 2009 Robert was taking the bins out at his ground floor flat on Toothill Road, Loughborough. He reached the wall at the end of the front path. Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a light to the North of his location. He put the bin down and looked towards it.   Aerial map of Toothill Road About 100 yards away he saw what appeared to be a glowing orange oval-shaped orb of light moving across the sky. He estimates it was only about 40 feet up and travelling about 10-20 mph.  It appeared to be completely silent. It got to above the garden of the house on the opposite side of the road before abruptly coming to a halt. It was now only 50 yards away from him. He believed it to be about the size of a small caravan (approximately 15 feet).   Robert continued to watch the object. He couldn’t take his eyes off it. It sat there motionless. Underneath it appeared to be dripping molten metal. These “drips” seemed to dissipate and fade away about half way to the ground. He felt that the object was aware of his presence and this is why it had stopped moving. Unfortunately he did not have a camera on him at the time so could not photograph or video the object.   After about 10-15 minutes it started slowly moving again and headed off towards the church at the end of Rectory Road. The movement felt very deliberate like it was under intelligent control. There was one other pedestrian walking along Rectory Road but he was looking down and did not appear to notice the object. He also looked online for similar incidents. He apparently found a sighting from Inverness where the witness had also seen an object dropping molten metal-like liquid.   Red Orbs   Ever since the sighting in October 2009 Robert would regularly look at the sky out of the windows of his flat.   In September 2010 he was recovering from Laryngitis. One evening he glanced out of the back window. It was a cold but calm evening. Due to the time of year it was already fully dark. Robert cannot remember whether he could see the stars or not.   In the sky over Toothill Road just behind the flat he saw between 4-6 orbs. They were dancing erratically around one another. They were a “weird red” colour and appeared to be self-luminescent. They seemed to be between 100-120 feet up and each about the size of a car (15 feet) in diameter.   Amazed by what he was looking at, Robert exited his flat and ran out onto the road to stand directly under them. The orbs were not drifting but were moving together in different directions, erratically turning back and forth above him. It looked like they were performing some kind of dance.   Robert watched the orbs for several minutes. He did not own a camera at the time. It was quiet and there were no other pedestrians around. Several vehicles came along the road but none of them stopped. As he was feeling unwell Robert then headed back inside, leaving the orbs still present in the sky. He is unaware of how long they remained at the location for.   White Orbs   Later in the same month while he was still recovering from the illness Robert had another sighting, this time of several white coloured orbs. They were to the East near the end of Toothill Road moving towards Meadow Lane. Like before, he stepped outside onto the road to get a better look at them.   Aerial map showing approximate position of the witness (A) and intial position of the orbs (B)  Again the orbs were moving erratically to one another, but appeared smaller in size than the red orbs he had previously seen. Intrigued by the objects Robert wanted to view one of them at closer range. He attempted to will one of them to move towards him. According to him when he did this it actually changed course and did start to come closer!   Photograph along Toothill Road in the direction the orb approached Aerial map showing the approach path of the orb The orb got about half way along Toothill Road towards him, when he suddenly began to get frightened. At this point it stopped, seemingly aware of his sudden fear.   Like before Robert headed back inside so did not see how the orbs departed the vicinity.   Lit Orange Ovals   Soon after his sightings of the red and white orbs, Robert moved address. Between late 2010 and April 2012 he was on night shift building work at Travelodge Loughborough Central on Bridge Street. He used to ride to and from work on his bike along the edge of the canal.   One evening between 9:30-9:40pm he was on his way to work. It was a dark but clear. While riding along he happened to glance to the South West over to the far side of the canal. At roughly 60-70 feet up above the houses he saw a pair of orange orbs that looked very similar to what he saw back in 2009.   Aerial map showing the canal path and route witness travelled  They were initially diagonal to one another, but began circling each other and moving along to the South East at the same speed as him. It felt like they were following him, although he did not try stopping to see if they also stopped.   After a short while he reached the first of two lochs. At this point he left the edge of the canal to travel along a footpath and join Belton Road West Ext to continue his journey to work via his usual route. He then turned right onto Belton Road.   Aerial map showing witness route to work after leaving the canal  At this point the orbs reappeared in the sky. Once again they seemed to follow him as he rode along Belton Road and crossed over the canal bridge. They had clearly changed course and were now heading South West just as he was.   Photograph of the canal from Belton Road bridge  When he reached the end of the road he had to turn left onto Derby Road. At this point he lost sight of the orbs and does not know where they went.   Analysis of Sightings   Despite the apparently unusual aspects of these sightings, it is likely that the objects which Robert saw in both 2009 and late 2010-April 2012 were sky lanterns. The colour and shape of the objects would fit with this explanation, and the movement patterns observed in these sightings could be the result of the object(s) drifting on air currents.   The “molten metal” he described in the October 2009 sighting could easily be embers falling from the base of the lantern as the wick inside it burned, which would explain why they seemed to vanish before reaching the ground.   Although in recent years lanterns are rarer due to the fire hazard, between 2009 and 2012 they were extremely popular. Even though it cannot be proved that someone in the vicinity had launched lanterns at these time, I feel quite sure that this is what was observed.   The movement patterns of the red orbs seen in September 2010 make it unlikely that these were lanterns, hence why they were not described in the same way. The sighting occurred before drones were commercially available so this cannot be what was observed. The movements mentioned seem too erratic to be distant helicopters or LED balloons caught in a breeze.   However in this incident I feel it is likely that what Robert was looking at was a small flock of birds reflecting street lights from the ground. After dark birds can sometimes reflect light making them appear like dimly lit orbs. The sudden arcing manoeuvres described would perfectly fit this explanation.   The white orbs seen later in the month is probably the most mysterious sighting of all due to the fact that one of them seemed to be able to sense his thoughts. However it is possible that these white orbs were LED balloons drifting in air currents, and it was merely a coincidence that one changed course and started to float closer to his position. Robert did not observe any manoeuvres which would clearly indicate intelligence or advanced flight capabilities.   Even though I feel that Robert’s sightings probably have mundane explanations, more unusual possibilities do still remain, and I am pleased that he has got in touch to get them on record.   Copyright Dave Hodrien 2025

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2014 Last Updated: 02/06/2025   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Missing Time   Back in 2008 Steve’s son used to come and visit him and his wife most Sundays. Steve would then drop him back home. His son lived about half an hour’s drive away. One evening he dropped him home about 10pm.   When he arrived home his wife informed him he’d been gone for hours. To Steve’s knowledge the journey had gone without incident, and he had not made any stops on route. There were a number of hours he could not account for.   The Floating Box Steve suffers from convulsions which cause him to jump and wake up during the night. Most of the time this happens no more than several times a night. One night in 2011 it kept happening again and again. At around 4am when he awoke he got out of bed to go to the bathroom.   He often drops off to sleep with the bedroom TV on at low volume. On this night the TV had been left on, partially lighting up the surroundings. As he exited the bedroom to walk along the hall to the bathroom he realised there was a strange object hovering in the air in front of him.   It looked like a small pale blue coloured rectangular-shaped box, roughly the size of a new mobile phone box. On the front of the box was a small sphere with “wings” either side flapping up and down very fast. It reminded him of a moth.   Mock-up of the blue box based on witness description The object was hovering at eye level, about 5.5 feet off the floor. It was completely silent. It moved from right to left across the hall, seemingly propelled by the winged sphere attached to the front. The moment he noticed it a pain started in his head that felt similar to someone shining a bright light into his eyes. He ignored this pain as best he could and thought to himself “What the hell is that?”   Next he felt his head being forced downward so his chin was touching the top of his chest. He tried to resist and look back up but the sensation grew stronger. He then started to see orange geometric patterns in his vision which looked like interlocking diamond shapes. He closed his eyes but the patterns became even clearer. The sight of these symbols frightened him.   All of a sudden he was no longer standing in his hallway. He found himself in a darkened location. In front of him the only thing visible was what looked like the side perspective of a monitor. It was glowing a light blue, the same colour the rectangular object had been. As he was looking at the side of it he could not see the screen or whether there was anything showing on it.   About 5 seconds later he found himself walking back into his bedroom. The light was now on. He lay down on the bed and glanced over at the television. Now something else caught his eye. To the top right of the room he saw a glowing football-sized orb of light, made up of black and white mottled dots. Again the pain in his head started. He looked away and the pain stopped, it was clearly linked with looking at the orb. He covered his face with his blanket. This was the last thing he remembers happening.   Circuit Board   About 6 months after the floating box incident Steve woke up about 3am for an unknown reason. He looked across the room. Above the chest of drawers he saw a glowing green circuit board shaped object. As soon as he noticed it he immediately dropped back off to sleep.   He awoke a second time, and could now see the same green glow coming from behind his head. He felt that the object had now moved closed behind him. He tried to sit up and look round to see it but again dropped off to sleep.   Cat Scratch   One evening Steve’s pet cat scratched him on his inner left leg quite badly. The following morning it looked like a rounded scoop had been taken out around the middle of the wound. It was fairly deep and about 2-2.5 cm across, like a hole going into his leg. However there was no blood or damage to the skin, it was just an indented crater.   Steve did not inform me how long the indentation remained for. It can be assumed that it slowly disappeared as the scratch healed up over the coming days.   Son’s Dreams   In 2012 Steve’s son had what he believed was a repeated dream for about a month. In this dream he recalled a brightly glowing moth lighting up the bedroom.  He then saw a lady with dark hair standing alongside his bed. When he looked at her he fell into a trance-like state.   It is possible that these dreams were in fact flashbacks to a visitation by a female Nordic being, although the glowing moth is an odd element I have not come across before. Perhaps this was a screen memory covering something else he saw at the time, or just his imagination mixing elements of fact and fiction. Conclusions   It is hard to state for certain whether Steve is experiencing contact or not. Some of his experiences are quite bizarre and do not really fit with other cases I have looked into. It is possible that they have been caused by hypnagogic hallucinations brought on by a sleep-related disorder.   The indentation seen in his leg could have been a medical side effect of the cat scratch, and is unlikely to have been something which was artificially removed. His missing time experience in 2008 is certainly interesting, although as Steve has no memories of seeing anything unusual at the time there is nothing conclusively linking it with contact.   Copyright Dave Hodrien 2025

It was a clear and still evening with only light cloud. Due to the time of year it was already fully dark. Paula stared up at the stars overhead. She noticed a star-like light begin to move slowly across the sky to the North West. It was travelling in a Southern direction. Suddenly the light began to shine extremely brightly. At first she thought it was an aeroplane at high altitude with its lights shining on the front. However there was something about it that didn’t look right. Aerial map of Moorside She ran into the house to get some binoculars, and also called for her children to come outside and take a look. Returning to the door she again looked at the object through the binoculars. She could see it getting brighter then darker, and watched it for several minutes. Then without warning the object became extremely bright. After this it suddenly shot straight upwards at an extremely fast speed and was lost from sight! At the time of the sighting her Paula’s husband was out visiting his father in hospital. When he arrived home, before Paula could tell him about her sighting, he excitedly told her that on the way to the hospital he had seen a bright light moving across the sky which suddenly glowed extremely brightly and shot straight upwards! He was amazed when Paula informed him she and the children had seen the same thing. Sighting Analysis Most of what was seen during this sighting could easily be explained away as a satellite crossing the night sky. Satellites usually appear just like moving stars. However if they are rotating as they move they can sometimes catch the sun’s rays which causes them to increase in brightness suddenly. Sometimes this rotation will cause them to constantly get brighter then darker as reflective surfaces either come into or move out of the light. Even the sudden disappearance of the light could be put down to the satellite changing angle as it passes round the Earth, or even getting hidden from view behind a cloud. However both witnesses at separate locations saw the object suddenly shoot straight upwards at high velocity. If just Paula had seen this you could put it down to a trick of the light, but it is very unlikely that both witnesses would have seen this same thing occur. And if they really did see it suddenly ascend vertically this means it cannot have been a satellite at all, and must have been a glowing object within the atmosphere. Satellites never change their course of movement or speed, and as they are in orbit would never increase or decrease is their distance from the Earth. As a satellite can be ruled out in this particular circumstance due to the facts of the case, it is very hard to explain the incident in mundane terms. Because of the speed of vertical ascent a distant aircraft/helicopter, LED balloon, other lit inflatable and radio controlled model can all be dismissed. It appears that the object was under direct control and able to perform advanced manoeuvres. Unfortunately neither witness was particularly close to the object so at present we have no way of knowing whether the entire UFO was glowing or whether there were bright lights on it which merged at a distance into a single glowing orb of light. Due to the brightness of the UFO and the fact that both Paula and her husband independently saw the object it is likely that there were other witnesses to it who have yet to come forward. Birmingham UFO Group Case Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2014 Last Updated 30/05/2025   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used   The White Orb   Years ago, before the birth of her son, Claire and her partner at the time had just finished decorating the front bedroom. Because of the paint fumes they were unable to sleep in the room, so instead slept on a futon mattress in the back room of the house.   The mattress was positioned next to a large sliding patio door which looked out onto the back garden. There were no curtains but luckily there was very little light coming in from outside.   At some point during the night Claire suddenly realised that she was no longer in the room. She remembers being on a craft talking with a lady, although thinking back to the incident she only has a vague recollection of this.   Suddenly she became aware of her physical body lying on the mattress. She felt an intense tingling sensation starting with her head and moving down to her toes. She felt that this was her re-entering her own body. At the same time she sensed a strong light on her face and found that she was unable to move.   Momentarily frightened by the situation she opened her eyes. She looked towards the patio door. Through the glass she could see a glowing orb of white light up in the sky. She tried to tell herself it was just the moon, but the centre of it appeared to be spinning.   She then lost consciousness. Her next recollection was of standing in the kitchen (which was adjacent to the back room). It was still dark outside. Her partner was standing next to her and they were both staring out of the window. Neither of them had any idea as to how they had both arrived there. She could now see the moon in the sky, and noted that it was only a half moon, so could not have been responsible for what she remembered previously seeing.   Contact Related Dreams   Over the years Claire has had a number of vivid dreams of alien beings. Speaking in general about the dreams Claire says “In these dreams I always seem to be in hiding, fighting or running from these entities - I have occasionally found myself in some kind of ‘safe house’. The entities don't seem to have any feelings and certainly no empathy/compassion for humanity.”   She has provided details regarding a number of these dreams, information regarding other observations, and roughly when some of them have taken place.   “I once found myself on a castle roof-top and heard screaming coming from the other side. When I ran across to help, there was a man lying down and tied to what appeared to be an altar, with quite a large entity standing over him. The entity had his hands in the victim's' chest cavity and was pulling out his heart in some kind of ritual sacrifice. The entity seemed to recognise me, and smiled as I ran towards him to try to stop him, but he was so strong that he threw me effortlessly over the side of the castle.   Another dream was where a very pale skinned, white haired humanoid being had a human victim attached to some electric wires on a vehicle and was torturing him. A lot of this seems to be perpetrated to create fear in the victim.   I notice that I seem to suddenly ‘wake up’ in the dream and know who I am and what I’m supposed to do. This often gets lost in translation when I actually wake up! When entities are close by in these dreams I often get a high pitched ringing in one ear.   I have seen these entities as humans whose heads/faces shift into reptilians. When I appear they seem to recognise me (not sure how), sometimes they chase after me and sometimes they just stare at me with a sardonic smile.   After my son was born I had a dream where these entities were chasing us. I was standing in a road in the middle of nowhere, it was dark, but I noticed that there were three 'pods' in the road. All of a sudden the middle pod opened and I saw my son emerging from it. As I was pulling him out two 'Men In Black' appeared at the top of the road and started running towards us.   I knew we were in danger and started to run with my son in my arms. We came to a town which was pretty much like London and I found a shop which was open. I ran in and the person serving recognised us and told me to go into a room which was off to one side of the shop. I ran into this room and found that there was a rectangular 'pit' in the middle of the floor (although it was quite shallow) and a group of people were standing around it. They asked me to jump in with my son and then created a circle around us holding each other's hands.   A magnificent bright light appeared and created a dome of light around us. The 'Men In Black' ran into the room after us, and even though the top half of us was showing above the pit, they couldn't see us or the people who had created a circle around us.   In another dream I found myself in a school classroom. The children were of secondary school age (teenagers) and everything seemed to be deteriorating and degenerating. They were getting rowdy, abusive and violent and then some bouncer-like men ran in to control them. They didn't seem to see me and at that moment   The same woman I met on the night I saw the UFO appeared and asked me to go with her. We walked past a fairground and then came to a stairway. The stairway was guarded by two strong, elegant looking dogs who seemed to know the woman and allowed us access to the stairway, but then continued to guard the stairway fiercely.   I was concerned about my son; because I asked her if he had to leave his Lego behind (he was young at the time and heavily into Lego). She said that he wouldn't have to make such a big sacrifice and then led me to a grand piano.   We walked across the strings of the piano and found ourselves in a cave complex. We were suddenly faced with a 'nest' of Reptilians and I then noticed the woman was dressed in a jump suit and had some kind of energy weapon. She looked like some kind of space-warrior and starting shooting the energy weapon at them - I can't remember if they fell to the ground or disappeared entirely.   Once she had dealt with the nest she turned to me and told me that I would be taking over from her at some point in the future. I looked at her in complete disbelief and told her that she had the wrong person. She simply repeated herself saying that I would be doing this job.   The classroom and degeneration in this dream I feel is what is happening to our society right now - emphasis placed on living entirely through materialism, the darker influences affecting some children. The stairway seemed to lead to a different frequency represented by the piano which has strings that reverberate at different frequencies.   On another night I dreamt that I was climbing up a very steep hill and was waving goodbye to my partner. Halfway up I noticed what appeared to be two large brown boulders. Suddenly they moved and I realised that they weren’t boulders after all, but two very large brown sheep. One went over to the other, but was quite brutal and insensitive towards it.   When I reached the top I saw the woman I had seen in the UFO encounter and other dreams. She appeared to be teaching a small group of people. They were standing a little way away all focused on a small wooden 'jetty' on another side of this steep hill, with a man standing on it. The jetty suddenly gave way and it looked like the man would fall to his death. He was saved however, by a rope attached to his ankle.   The woman then noticed me standing a little way from the group watching and walked over to me. It seemed to me that she was expecting me. She gave me directions and advice about an upcoming event or mission. She told me not to follow the children and to stay on the path and also gave me a trident and said 'if anyone gets in your way, bash them out of the way with this.'   It seemed that there was going to be a serious problem involving interference from 'darker forces' who were trying to lead people astray. Then I started running and noticed that there were two children ahead of me, a boy and a girl, who had run off the main path onto a side path which led to a house. (I didn't know back when I had this dream that my current partner has two children, a boy and a girl).   I carried on running along the main path and it began to get dark. I started to cough and felt very anxious about this. I then noticed that there were a couple of men who seemed to be drunk and were coming towards me. I pushed them away and kept going. Suddenly I was in a house, packing my toothbrush to leave. It was dark in the house, I was anxious and in a hurry. I suddenly heard some rasping breathing coming from downstairs and ran down to find my son lying down on a bed, struggling to breathe. I then noticed that there was a dome of bright white light around my son, which seemed to be protecting him in some way.   Several years later I found myself in another dream dealing with a Reptilian group or nest. I was part of a small rebel force, we were somewhere in the countryside and we had a group of Reptilians under surveillance. I had some kind of energy device which I was going to use to ‘disperse’ one of these entities who was standing a little way from the rest of the main group.   I don’t know if it was a new device that we were testing, but it did seem to be very effective. I ran up to this particular Reptilian who appeared to be wearing some kind of ‘armour’ – which was like a turtle shell. I dropped the energy device down in-between the armour and his back. It was very effective but drew the attention of the rest of the Reptilian group and they started to run towards us. I ran back to my group who had already started to run away to take cover.”   It is clear that these dreams are heavily symbolic and not flashbacks to actual experiences, something that Claire herself is fully aware of. She has expressed lots of thoughts regarding the possible meanings behind various aspects of the dreams.   Obviously the dreams do contain contact-related elements, such as various recognisable types/species of beings reported in many other cases. It is intriguing that some of the dreams have involved the female humanoid she remembers interacting with on the night she saw the white orb.   Black Helicopter & Neck Marking   In 2013 Claire decided to reach out to another UFO researcher via E-Mail and inform them about the dream about attacking the Reptilian nest.   Soon after she contacted them she noticed a black unmarked helicopter in the vicinity of her property. Example photograph of a black military helicopter A few days later she woke up to find a scar on the back of her neck which itched and caused a lot of irritation.   Claire wonders whether the E-Mail she sent to the other un-named researcher was intercepted by individuals involved in covering up the subject, and they then began surveillance and possibly did something physically to her.   Conclusions   The many symbolic dreams that Claire has had are interesting, although the fact she has correctly named the types of beings she witnessed in them shows that she has looked into the contact phenomenon. Therefore it is hard to say whether or not these are just her imagination or based on actual contact she has experienced.   The incident with the white orb is particularly interesting. While some aspects would fit with sleep paralysis (which can be more likely to occur when sleeping in an unfamiliar place as Claire pointed out), other aspects are harder to explain, such as the manner in which she found herself standing alongside her partner, and neither of them remembered walking to that position.   While the black helicopter could be indicative of surveillance, it could just as easily have been there for a completely different reason. I find it very unlikely that the markings on the back of her neck were related in any way, this could be explained as a rash caused by allergies or a skin condition. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Month: December 2013 Last Updated: 02/05/2025   In December 2013 Charlotte reached out to me to inform me of a number of fascinating and varied experiences of hers which had taken place since her childhood. This report is based on the information Charlotte provided.   Knowing the Future   Charlotte informed me that on regular occasions since 2000 at the age of 12 she has had visions or dreams which have then seemingly come true, and at other times general feelings relating to what has then taken place. In her childhood she used to tell her mother about it, telling her “I’ve dreamt this before.”  But her mother assumed she was just referring to déjà vu.   She provided me with some relatively recent examples. One day in 2011 she needed to take the bowl out of the kitchen sink to use it. The bowl was full of washing up at the time so to clear enough space to use the sink she lifted it out temporarily and put it down on the floor. She was holding her mobile phone at the time so then put it down on the worktop alongside the sink.   She glanced down at her phone and immediately saw a vision of it slipping off and falling into the bowl of washing up on the floor. Several seconds later it did precisely this! She had seemingly seen a vision of what was about to take place in her mind.   In September 2013 she had a dream that she was shopping in Sainsbury’s buying a bag of ice cubes and bumped into her old work boss. In the morning she thought it was a strange dream to have but did not think much more on it. A week later she was out shopping and the dream came true! She actually informed her old boss about having it a week earlier, which surprised him.   In early December 2013, a week before I spoke with Charlotte about her experiences, she had a bad feeling in her stomach but no idea why. Within hours she got a phone call off one of her friends who informed her that she had been in a car accident. Luckily she was not hurt, but Charlotte is convinced this is what she had sensed. Dark Grey Metallic Disc   In May 2001 Charlotte’s family took her on holiday to one of the Canary Islands named Feurteventura. Unfortunately she cannot remember the name of the town or city they stayed at, only that their hotel was likely on the main strip as there was lots of nearby bars.   Aerial map of Feurteventura Earlier in the day she had been fighting with her sister, which according to Charlotte was a regular occurrence. It was roughly 10pm on a warm and still night. The sky was clear of cloud and the stars were fully visible. She was out on a walk with her father. He was in the process of telling her off. There were not many other pedestrians around.   Ahead of them was a large hotel at a road junction on their right. Suddenly from around the edge of the hotel Charlotte witnessed an object come into view hovering in the sky. It was metallic dark grey in colour, and was the shape of a disc, with a central dome on both the upper and lower-side. There were no lights or markings visible. Charlotte estimates it was at least 60 feet in diameter and appeared to be hovering around a couple of hundred feet up, about the height that a low altitude patrol helicopter would fly at.   The object was completely silent, and was moving on a straight and level course very slowly, possibly only a few miles per hour. After several seconds it came to an abrupt halt.   Charlotte exclaimed “Oh my god dad, what is that?!”  However the object quickly reversed its direction and disappeared back out of view behind the hotel. She asked “Dad did you see that? Did you see that?”  He replied “You haven’t seen anything, you’ve been crying, your mind is playing tricks on you. Don’t worry!”  They continued walking along the road. Charlotte looked for the presence of the UFO but it had completely disappeared.   A number of days later when they were back home her dad confirmed to her that he had actually seen something, but didn’t want to frighten her at the time due to the fact they were on holiday in an unfamiliar location.   Pale Blue Light   By 2009 Charlotte had moved to Hagley. Her boyfriend owned Gilis Rowland Hair Salon on Station Road, Stourbridge, and they both lived in the apartment above it (The salon has since closed).   Aerial map of Station Road It was a cold night in January or February. It had previously been snowing but was now calm. Even in winter time the apartment would get very warm, probably because of all of the hairdryers used during the daytime in the salon below. Because of this they would sleep with the bedroom door open.   Charlotte was asleep when suddenly she was stirred by her boyfriend gently tapping her. He calmly whispered in her ear “Charlotte look, look over there”, motioning his eyes towards the doorway. When she looked over she was surprised to see pale blue light coming into the room from the hallway. For an unknown reason the light felt very calming to her rather than frightening.   As she watched she could see that the light was clearly moving, like whatever was causing it had come out from the living room, had already gone past the bedroom door, and was now making its way along the hallway away from them. It slowly faded as it moved away. As the light faded, both her and her boyfriend seemed to drop back off to sleep, possibly because of how calming it was.   Her boyfriend and his sister both believed in angels. The following morning when they awoke he was really excited and happy about what had taken place. He asked Charlotte “Wow! Do you remember that in the night we were visited by an angel?”  He was so amazed about what had happened he rang up his sister to tell her about it.   Charlotte did not know what the light could have been. However she says it could not have been ball lightning floating around the apartment as the weather was calm that night. Ball lightning is quite rare and only materializes in stormy conditions. She does not believe it was light coming into the apartment from an outside facing window.   Being Visitations   About 6 weeks after the light incident Charlotte awoke during the night. She had recently separated from her boyfriend so was alone in the room. It was very dark due to the blackout blinds, but still light enough to see the furnishings. For an unknown reason she felt extremely anxious. Her stomach was in knots. She could sense a presence in the room, and could hear what sounded like someone gasping for air, regular and continuous short breaths. The noises sounded like they were coming from the end of the bed.   Without looking, Charlotte tried to remain extremely still and held her breath. She thought to herself “Something’s in here. If it can’t hear me breathing it may think I’m not here.”  She thinks that because she held her breath so long she collapsed and fell back off to sleep.   Her next recollection was of waking up to the sound of the doorbell and her pet dogs barking (which they would always do when it rang). It was now daylight. She immediately remembered the breathing sound she had heard and was quite upset by it. She jumped up out of bed in her night clothes and ran to the door, seeking comfort from whoever happened to be there. It only took her 5 seconds to reach the door, but when she opened it nobody was there. Checking the clock she found it was now around 7am.   Roughly a fortnight later, almost exactly the same thing took place! Once again she woke up frightened, heard the gasping noises near the end of the bed, held her breath without looking and blacked out.  Once again she was woken in the morning by the doorbell and barking dogs, and when she went to check there was no-one there. It was possibly exactly the same time as before, her alarm set for 7.30am had not gone off.   Two weeks later it happened a third time! On this occasion when she heard the breathing noises she became more curious. She still decided to hold her breath but felt brave enough to look down to the end of the bed where the sounds were coming from. She could make out the silhouette of a figure standing there. It looked tall, about 7 feet high, but was hunched over. Its head was shaped like a light bulb and looked hairless. It was too dark in the room to clearly make out facial features.   The being appeared to be unclothed and its skin reminded her of a wet seal. It had skinny long neck, arms and legs. Its lower legs were not visible due to where it was standing. Strangely its arms appeared to be covered in long thin hairs, but not its body or legs.   Behind the being was some tall mirror-fronted cupboards. She could see the back of it reflected in this. She noticed that the being appeared to not have buttocks, the legs just smoothly melded with its torso.   While she looked at the figure she also sensed an unusual odour coming from it which she had not detected on the previous occasions. It reminded her of raw meat. This made her feel nauseous as she is a vegetarian.   Instead of jumping out of bed and run out of the room Charlotte did what she’d previously done - she held her breath and then seemingly blacked out. Just as with the previous occasions she was woken by the doorbell and dogs. Again she checked, but instinctively knew that nobody would be standing there.   When she returned to the bedroom she found that her alarm clock had stopped at 3:20am. However this may well have been just because it happened to run out of batteries, as when she changed them it started working normally again.   Because of the three repeated experiences Charlotte felt extremely uneasy. She felt that the world that she was living in had changed and nothing made sense anymore. She said that this was “confusing and terrifying at the same time, very negative.”   Soon after the third experience with the being she told her mother about what was taking place. Her mother was concerned and asked her if she was taking drugs. She also decided to tell her friend Andrea about what was going on. She seemed interested but didn’t ask many questions.   A fortnight later Andrea was staying over at the apartment to keep her company due to the recent breakup. She was soundly sleeping when suddenly she heard Andrea shout “Fucking make it go away! Charlotte, fucking make it go away!”  She seemed extremely frightened and was pulling the duvet up around her. Charlotte switched on the bedroom light but there was nothing visible.   She asked Andrea “What was there? What did you see?”  Hysterically Andrea said that she’d seen something at the end of the bed in line with Charlotte’s feet. Due to her current state, Charlotte did not ask her any further questions. Andrea said “I’ve got to get away from here. I’m going to stay in a hotel. I’ll phone you tomorrow.” She got up, quickly grabbed her stuff and left, clearly very frightened.   Despite what her friend had seemingly witnessed, and what she herself had previously seen, Charlotte was able to settle back down to sleep. She felt strangely complacent towards what had taken place.   This time she was not woken up by the doorbell and her dogs were quiet. However her alarm clock had once again stopped, this time at 2:10am. She was unsure as to whether this was the time that Andrea had woken her up, but suspected that it was. The batteries had only been changed a fortnight before but seemed to have been drained of power entirely. This was a mystery as according to Charlotte they were not cheap batteries, there was no real reason for them to have done this so fast.   She was concerned about Andrea so decided to give her a call. However when Andrea picked up the phone she just brushed off what had taken place. She said “Sorry I was a weirdo last night.” Charlotte asked “What happened?” Andrea said “I saw something at the end of the bed. I don’t know what it was. I must have been dreaming.”   After the incident Charlotte has tried to bring up the incident with Andrea on several occasions, but she just jokes about it. But Charlotte remembers how frightened she appeared to be on the night it happened.   In January 2010 Charlotte moved to a house in Kingswinford. On a day in February she was pottering around the house when she noticed that the clock in the kitchen had stopped. She had no spare batteries at the time so decided to put up with it until she could obtain some. Later in the evening she was getting ready for bed when she noticed that the alarm clock had also stopped! She tried to clear her mind regarding what had taken place on previous occasions when clocks had been found stopped.   She got into bed and managed to drop off to sleep. However once again she was visited in the night. She woke with the feeling of something touching and leaning down on her feet. When she opened her eyes and looked down the bed she saw a similar being to before, although this time it was leaning over at a steeper angle and staring at her. She could also see it clearer as it was less dark in the room.   The being had large almond-shaped eyes which where shiny and dark green in colour, with no irises or pupils visible. Its nose was very flat and unpronounced. The lower jaw appeared more set forward to that of a human, with a pointed chin. The skin was a mottled grey colour with a mix of shades. It looked wet and shiny. Once again it had thin hairs on its arms, which were a fair colour. Looking at the torso, she could make out its collar bone and shape of its ribs.   It felt like it was trying to tell her something rather than look at her, but she didn’t hear anything except for the same gasping breaths she had heard before. Once again she was frightened by the presence of the being so held her breath and blacked out. Unlike the experience where Andrea was present, she once again woke to the sound of the doorbell and dogs barking (not forgetting she was now at a new address). She ran to the door but as usual nobody was there.   Returning to the room she found the time was 7am. Looking round the house she expected to find electrical issues, and was not disappointed. The clocks which had stopped the previous day were still working, but the clock on her DVD Player had gone off, as had the clock on the cooker. Both had flashing dashes waiting for input, as if there had been a power cut in the night.   In 2012 she moved to Tamworth with her current partner. She had previously told him about her experiences but he didn’t seem to really believe her. One evening around 7.30pm the kitchen clock stopped. She jokingly said to him “The aliens are coming tonight.”   Later on they got into bed and dropped off like normal. But during the night Charlotte was stirred from her sleep by her boyfriend. He sounded out of breath and was sat up in bed alongside her. She tried to calm him down and asked “What’s the matter?”  He said “I’m alright. I thought I saw something leaning over you.” Like previous occasions Charlotte seemed really complacent to hearing this, despite what had taken place before. They both settled back down to sleep.   Once again she was woken by her boyfriend kicking the bedroom radiator, causing a loud humming sound. He jumped up out of bed shouting “Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!” and ran into the bathroom. Charlotte heard him washing his face like he was trying to wake himself up.   When he returned to the room Charlotte asked “Are you alright?”  He said “Yeah, yeah I’m fine. I was trying to fight something off.” Charlotte asked “Ok…Fight what off?” He responded saying “I don’t want to talk about it.” He got back into bed and initially lay facing away from her. After a minute he rolled over and said “Charlotte, I’m not happy that they followed you here.” Despite what had happened they both settled back down to sleep.   The following day Charlotte could see it was playing on his mind, but didn’t bring it up with him. However after this incident she says that he treated her experiences with more understanding than before.   Abduction Flashbacks   Charlotte says that on a number of occasions she has experienced sudden visions of being in a different location. She says that this tends to happen more often when she is concentrating on something.   One day she was driving across to a friend’s house, with another friend in the passenger seat. Suddenly she had a vision of being in a large, square shaped, white coloured room, about 50 feet across. There were large white cabinets around her going right up to the ceiling. Everything looked clinical and clean. The air in the room was humid with visible mist around her.   The walls of the room sloped outwards. One of them was clear, like a huge window, and through it she could see stars and the Earth. In the vision she had no idea of how old she was, or whether she was clothed or not. But it felt calm not frightening. Charlotte says that she suffers quite badly from vertigo. She hates flying, and won’t walk up a staircase unless it has a banister. But for an unknown reason was not scared of being up in space and looking down at the Earth. This was not the only time that she had a vision of this place. Charlotte says that numerous times while practicing a dance route she has seen a quick flash of the same white room in her mind.   Sense of Presence   Since having her son Charlotte says that she has not had any further definite experiences. However there have been a number of occasions where she has woken up to feel the sense of a presence in the room. She wonders if the beings may now be interacting with her son rather than herself, but has no real evidence suggesting this at present.   Conclusions   The repeated visitation experiences which Charlotte (and sometimes others) experienced are very interesting indeed, especially considering the fact they continued across numerous different addresses. Some of the bizarre aspects such as electrical clocks stopping working and the door bell ringing by itself could easily be dismissed if they had only occurred once, but they were repeated enough times to surely not be coincidental.   Unfortunately Charlotte has no photographic or video evidence relating to what took place, and I am unable to speak with her previous or current partners about what happened. But the very specific details she provided have convinced me that she is talking about real memories.   Her other experiences are also compelling. It is common for experiencers to have precognitions or premonitions of future events, and it looks like Charlotte may be experiencing both on a regular basis. Although her encounters appeared to have died down at the moment, it is entirely possible that she may experience other things going forward. Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2014 Last Updated: 29/05/2025   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used   Premonitions   Since his early childhood Luke claims to have had premonitions at various times, something he refers to as “twinkles”. He says these are involuntary and cannot be initiated directly.   One early example he provided occurred when he was 7 years old. He was across his grandfather’s house. His grandfather was suffering from depression at the time, and had resorted to taking un-medicated pills. Luke sensed that this was going on, but also knew that he was hiding them under the bed. Sure enough when he went and checked he found them at that exact spot.   These premonitions have continued throughout his adult life. His step-daughter lives by the coast. One day the word “ocean” randomly popped into his mind. About three hours later his step-daughter turned up unannounced. On another occasion he was driving his car to work when he sensed that in three days there would be a car accident at the location. According to Luke this did indeed happen just as he had felt it would. Early Contact?   Luke spent his childhood years living with his family on Selbourne Close, Petersfield. When he was 12 years old he had an experience which he interpreted as a strange dream. At the time he used to share a bedroom with his older brother on the front of the house.   Aerial map of Selbourne Close In the dream it was after dark. He got up and looked out of the window. Outside he saw white spotlights coming down from the sky and sweeping across the ground over. They were trailing over the green and the roofs of nearby houses. He then heard a male voice say to him “Go back to bed and forget about this.”   Photograph of Selbourne Close green It is entirely possible that this was not a dream at all. The spotlights could have been from a craft which was out of sight due to its altitude, and the voice he heard may have been telepathic communication from beings aboard that craft who were aware that they were being watched by him.   White Light   Around 2004 Luke makes a living as a freelance chef. He used to work out in Bentley, near to Wrecclesham at a pub called The Bull. At the time he lived in Portsmouth. He would ride to work on his 500cc motorbike. He used to finish work at 10:30pm before making the return journey home.   Aerial map of The Bull Inn (now closed) Photograph of The Bull Inn He used to travel South along Gravel Hill Road through Alice Holt Forest, and then join the A325 close to the Forest Research centre. One night in autumn as he reached the junction saw the sky above the forest lit up in bright white light like a football stadium ahead of him to the East in the direction of Rowledge.   Aerial map indicating the route through the forest and A325 junction The light was so beautiful that he pulled up by the side of the road and stood there staring at it for about 15 minutes. There was no distinguishable source for the light, it was just coming up from behind the trees. Sadly he did not have a camera on him at the time. After admiring the sight for a while he got back on his bike and carried on home.   Photograph of the junction in the direction the light was situated A couple of days later he mentioned the incident to the head chef at work. He had no idea what the light could have been.   Several days after this he was once again driving home and the light was there again in the same location. Like before he stopped and stared at it, but this time left the engine of his bike running and did not stay for as long. After this second night he did not see the light re-appear.   The fact that the light appeared on two different occasions tends to suggest it may have been from floodlights temporarily set up somewhere, perhaps related to some after-dark construction or roadworks going on, or possibly an event taking place, but it is still a mystery at present.   The Deer By 2006 Luke had moved to Winchester. He began to have the urge to visit Crab Wood at Farley Mount on the outskirts of the town. Because of this compulsion he used to take the dogs walking there. However part of the route took him along a loggers path which had Conifer trees on one side and planted Beech trees on the other.   Aerial map of Crab Wood Strangely whenever he reached the end of the path he would feel frightened for an unknown reason. His heart would start to beat faster and he would begin to panic. He would feel the need to run along the path very fast and get away from the location as quickly as possible. The dogs on the other hand loved the area, and would usually run off into the trees out of sight for a period of time.   One day while heading along the path he suddenly came face to face with a deer. It was standing only 5 feet in front of him extremely still. He stood there staring at it for a good while. He had recently lost his mother and thought that maybe it was her re-incarnated. At one point he actually asked “Mum?” The deer continued to stand there.   After around 15 minutes it slowly turned to its left and began to wander away from him. He looked round to where it had come from and saw another six deer all staring at him. Another young deer then started to walk in his direction. It did not get close though, and stopped moving about 35 feet away before calling out for a while.   Luke felt the situation was very strange considering his particular fear of the area, yet compulsion to return to it. Later on he looked into the screen memory phenomenon and wonders if this was a visitation, with the beings masking their true appearance.   In 2013 he decided to visit a hypnotherapist to see if he could find out more about what may have taken place. Unfortunately he could not relax enough to be hypnotised. But the hypnotherapist suggested he may be psychic, and the fear he felt may have been because of something bad which happened at the location in the past.   When he got home he looked up Crab Wood on the internet. However the only thing he found was that in 2002 an infamous crop formation of a Grey being holding a disc which contained a message in binary appeared at the nearby Crabwood Farm.   The Crabwood Farm crop formation Obviously the formation is quite dramatic and many believe it to be hoaxed. They were staying at a hotel. After having a small couple of bottles of beer, he retired to the room a while leaving his wife by the pool, as the temperature was too hot for him. It was about 2pm. He lay down on the bed and closed his eyes.   Suddenly he felt the sensation of something grabbing him by the ankles and dragging him diagonally across the bed. Strangely this did not concern him, but he was scared he was going to be pulled off the edge of the bed so he opened his eyes.   He turned his head to the right to look across the room in the direction he was being pulled, and immediately noticed a black cloaked figure standing about 4 feet away from him in a bent over position. Reacting to its presence he swung his head back round to the left to shout out that there was someone in the room.   All of a sudden he became really calm. At the same time he also sensed that he had been moved across the bed. A memory of his girlfriend from earlier in his life popped into his mind, and then he seemed to drop back off to sleep.   Next he felt something grab him behind both knees and lift his entire legs up into the air. Again this did not seem to bother him, so he kept his eyes closed. He then heard a voice close to his right ear say “Let me show you”   Now he was frightened and tried to respond to it and say “Leave me alone.”  But when he did he found his voice only came out as a croak. A short period of time went by in which he struggled to speak. Eventually he was able to get the words out. At this point he realised he was fully awake. He jumped up off the bed and ran down to the pool to tell his wife what happened. Once they were back from their holiday he looked up what had happened to him online. He found that a lot of the aspects he experienced were known side effects of sleep paralysis, and put it down to this.   Forearm Marking   In 2013 Luke moved to the village of Kings Worthy, just North of Winchester.   Aerial map of Kings Worthy One morning when he woke up he noticed a circle of red dots on his inner right arm. It was about 1cm across and reminded him of the needle marks left by a BCG vaccination. The marking was not painful or sore to the touch, and the dots were not raised but were quite prominent. It reminded him of a day in his teenage years when he found another marking on his upper left leg.   The dots remained for about 3-4 days before fading away. As Luke did not have any recollections of contact at the time it is possible that the dots were just natural or caused by insect bites. But I have dealt with other cases where near identical markings have been reported.   Shadowy Form   Luke’s house has a long back garden with cabin down at the end of it. One day he was in the cabin relaxing and decided to step outside for some fresh air. About half way along the garden is an apple tree. He happened to glance towards this tree, and suddenly noticed a dark shadowy form. It moved across from the right to the left of the tree within the branches.   The sight of it gave him goosebumps. It was about 6-7 feet wide and 4 feet tall, and looked like a smoke-like entity crawling across the branches. After a number of seconds it vanished without trace.   Conclusions   Luke has had some intriguing experiences over the years. Some of these experiences may have mundane explanations, and could just be down to interpretation, but are certainly interesting. While he has not had any conclusive experiences linked with contact, such as confirmed visitations or abductions, there are certainly signs that he may have experienced contact.   Copyright Dave Hodrien 2025

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2015 Last Updated: 27/05/2025   Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used   Coloured Orbs   As a child Nicola lived with her family in a house in Crewe, close to the train station. Through 1982 and 1983 between the ages of 2-3 she recalls seeing glowing blue and red orbs of light drift into her room through the window during the night. These orbs would surround her in the air and she would then feel something go into her head.   Aerial map of Crewe train station She then recalled being lifted up off the bed into the air. She would float out of her bedroom, down the stairs and out of the house. These are the only memories she has of this, but remembers it happening on multiple occasions. On one of these occasions her family’s pet cat was in the room and it started growling at the window before the orbs entered the room.   Psychic Abilities   Nicola informed me that since childhood she believes that she possesses psychic abilities. She says she is very intuitive and sensitive to people’s emotions, and can sometimes sense what people are thinking.   She also claims to have had many premonitions and precognitions over the years. This sometimes appears like a vision in front of her eyes showing her what is going to happen. Often it will warn her of dangers or accidents which are going to happen.   On 28th September 2011 she was seeing off her brother at Crewe Train Station, as he was off on holiday to New Zealand. After his train had departed she suddenly started to feel panicked and could sense that something was going to happen at the station. It was like a voice in her head telling her to leave as soon as possible. She did so, walking along Nantwich Road to get to the short stay car park. Soon afterwards an underground fault occurred which caused a series of explosions that blew a number of manhole covers off on the road, injuring a couple of other pedestrians.   A BBC news report on this incident can be read here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-15271886   On her 12th birthday Nicola went out with some friends. On the way back home in the car she suddenly had a vision of her father lying on the ground. When she got back home she found out that her father had collapsed with glandular fever and had been taken to hospital.   In recent years there has been a lot of wars and suffering in the world. Sometimes she gets sudden flashes of images in her mind showing scenes of this destruction. These images are often very rapid but affect her greatly, causing her to sometimes breakdown in tears. She says it feels like “something being downloaded to her.”   Nicola informed me that these abilities run in her family. She mentioned that her father’s mother was also very intuitive and would have precognitions/premonitions. On one occasion she apparently had a vision of someone’s son drowning. Her grandmother’s claims of these abilities are fully supported by her father.   Grandmother’s Light   One evening Nicola was feeling tired and was about to leave the remainder of her dinner and head up to sleep. Suddenly she heard the word “Eat” in her ear. She obeyed the voice and continued eating her food.   The following morning she woke up with a strange high pitched humming sound in her head. The noise was continuous and nobody else seemed to be able to hear it. Soon after getting up the phone rang. It was another family member who had rang to tell them that her grandmother had sadly passed away the previous afternoon.   Through the day the humming sound continued, resulting in a strong headache. That evening she saw a light blue wavy light suddenly seemingly emerge from her own head. At the same moment the high pitched noise finally stopped. It hovered across the room and disappeared into the wall. Nicola felt that it was the energy of her grandmother, and that part of this energy remained with her. She explained that it was a very pleasant experience and not at all frightening.   Static Sounds   Since her teenage years Nicola has on occasion heard an electrical static sounding noise coming from the switched off television in her bedroom. When she has heard this sound it gets louder and louder in volume. In more recent years when her young son has entered the room the sound has immediately ceased, it only seems to occur when she is on her own.   This noise has occurred at numerous addresses and always seems to emanate from the television set. It has occurred both during the day and night, though is easier to hear at night while lying in bed. It has concerned Nicola so much that she has gone to her GP about it to ask whether it is related to tinnitus. However he has confirmed that her hearing is fine.   Mother’s UFO Sighting Nicola informed me of a UFO/UAP sighting her mother had in 1996. Her mother had apparently gone into town shopping, and down the street saw a UFO/UAP hovering down low between the houses. She looked away and back again but it was still present in the sky. No further details of this incident are known currently.   Son’s Visitations   While her son was young Nicola used to live with him in Wheelock, Sandbach, Cheshire. They used to sleep in the same room.   Aerial map of Wheelock In 1998 when he was 7 years old he began to shout out during the night. Nicola would find him outside of the bedroom door. When she tried to get him to go back to sleep he would refuse to go back into the room, gripping the door frame in fear. He would say there was a man in there with a white face and black eyes. Nicola used to calm him down by talking or getting him a drink, and in the end he would re-enter the room and drop back off to sleep.   This happened on multiple occasions for the next two years, but eventually seemed to cease. At the time Nicola assumed he may have been seeing a ghostly apparition, but later on after looking into the contact phenomenon realised he was describing a Grey being.   The White Orb   Around the same time as her son’s visitations Nicola started to sense the presence of another “higher being” while lying in bed at night. When she wishes to converse with this being it would appear in the form of a glowing orb of white light. The orb emerged from the ceiling of her room and descended down near to her. She sensed a strong bond with it.   One night around 3-3:30am she woke up and the white orb was already there, floating above her. She then heard a telepathic message in her mind which said “There is a higher power here. Look out of the window.”     Nicola did not want to be the only person to witness what was about to happen, so she called out to her son saying “Tom wake up! Look out of the window now!”   He did and they both quickly looked out of the window. A moment later they witnessed a single bolt of lightning hit a short tree on the opposite side of the road near to the bus stop! Nicola noted that there had just been the lightning flash, no thunder sound, and that the weather did not appear to be stormy. The telepathic voice then said to her “That’s a gift for you!”   Tom was very excited by what had happened. In the end they both settled back down back to sleep. Nicola does not recall checking the tree afterwards for any damage.   Vanishing Pregnancies   Nicola informed me that there have been numerous times in her adult life when she has felt pregnant. This feeling has lasted for around two months and then suddenly disappeared. On none of these occasions did she visit her GP to confirm whether she actually was pregnant or not.   It is entirely possible these were merely false pregnancies and nothing more, but a later experience she would have possibly put this into question.   Nordic Visitation   In 2009 when Nicola was 28 years old she awoke one night with the sound of her name being called. When she opened her eyes she found the room bathed in bright blue light. Standing in the light was a young lady. She was dressed in white and appeared to be about 20-30 years old. Her skin was pale, and she had piercing blue eyes, but looked quite human. The lady felt friendly to her and she was not frightened by her appearance in the room.   Nicola sat up in bed to get a better look at her, but then felt suddenly drowsy like she was being forced back to sleep. When she awoke again it was morning time. Since this experience she regularly thinks about the lady and welcomes another visit by her.   The Grey Returns   On the evening Tuesday 3rd March 2015 Nicola was feeling completely fine. She would usually stay up till about 10:30pm but around 8:30pm she suddenly began feeling extremely tired, almost like she was being intentionally put to sleep.   At 2am she suddenly awoke and sat up in bed with a feeling of unease. She got out of bed and went downstairs to get a drink. On returning to bed this unsettled feeling remained, but she believes that despite this she must have dropped back off to sleep.   Her next recollection is of waking with a feeling of pressure on her forehead pushing it down into the pillow. She opened her eyes and saw a blurred white oval-shaped face staring down at her. It had completely black almond-shaped eyes. It was about 1.5 feet away, and she is unsure if it was floating, or a being alongside the bed leaning over her. At the same moment she heard words directly inside her mind which stated “You are being watched.”   She only looked at it a brief moment before leaping up out of bed in a panicked state. The figure immediately vanished. She was extremely upset by what had just happened so she decided to go through to her son’s room (who was now 17) and wake him up. He was sympathetic to her, and reminded her of the experiences he used to previously have as a child. Nicola did not want to return to her own bedroom after what had happened, so in the end settled down to sleep on the floor of her son’s room.   The following morning she felt extremely paranoid that the being was still in her proximity. This feeling made her feel odd and unwell. When she checked her mobile phone she found that it was out of charge. Her son also informed her that his phone was out of charge. It was like they had both been entirely drained of any remaining battery life.   Repeated Dreams   On 5th March Nicola woke up between 3:15am for an unknown reason. She usually sleeps soundly till morning time so this was extremely unusual. She got up out of bed wondering why she was awake then went and got a drink. After this she got back into bed and dropped back off.   However she then experienced an extremely vivid dream. In this dream she was sitting on a bed in a room she did not recognise. It reminded her of a hotel room. Standing around her were a number of Grey beings. They were slender, unclothed and had white coloured skin. Only their large black eyes were visible, there was no noticeable nose, ears or mouth. The beings were standing very close to her but it did not feel frightening, instead it almost felt like a big group hug.   Witness drawing of one of the Greys At around 4am she again woke up and immediately remembered the dream, wondering what it could mean.   For the next 7 nights the same thing occurred. She would wake up, drop back off and then have a vivid dream. However the dream was not always the same. Sometimes she dreamt of another room with lots of beds, with other unrecognised humans sitting on them. In this other location there were no Grey beings present.   In another dream she was in a different room again, being held by an individual Grey. She grabbed hold of one of the unclothed arms of the being. It felt cold to the touch. The skin felt loose, silky and slightly wet, and she could feel the bone underneath.   Witness drawing of the Grey's arm After a week of waking up and vivid dreams they suddenly ceased, and Nicola felt somewhat relieved to get a good night’s sleep. However several days later she had another vivid dream, this time again different and quite traumatic. She dreamt she was back in the hotel-like room. A Grey handed her a female baby, but it was not fully human. It had a pale face and dark eyes. Even though it did not look fully human she sensed that it was her own daughter.   Witness drawing of the baby The Grey handed her a spear and informed her that it was the “spear of destiny”. She was then asked to kill the baby with it. In the dream she viewed this baby as a demon, despite sensing that it was hers. She stabbed the baby with the spear, and at this moment woke up. This last dream was very upsetting to her, and was one of the reasons which prompted her to get in touch with BUFOG.   Conclusions   Nicola has had some fascinating and varied experiences throughout her life. The Grey visitations experienced by both her and previously her son confirm that they have both experienced contact. It is very probable that the unusual vivid dreams Nicola had following her own experience with this being are flashbacks to an abduction, with aspects changed by either screen memories or just her own imagination. It is also interesting to note that Nicola has experienced a visitation by a female Nordic, one of the other more commonly described species/types of being.   The baby she was handed was very likely to have been a hybrid created from her own DNA. I have investigated numerous cases where exactly the same thing has been reported. It is possible that the aspect of her killing it with the spear is just symbolic of her revulsion towards it and did not actually take place. It was very clear when Nicola got in touch with me that she had no knowledge of what is commonly called the “hybrid program”, and found what had happened in the dream extremely confusing and upsetting.   Many experiencers report having psychic abilities or witnessing paranormal activity of various types, just as Nicola has mentioned. These are further strong signs that she has experienced contact and may continue to do so going forward.   When I first spoke with Nicola it was clear she was quite traumatised by her recent experiences. In speaking with me and looking into other contact cases online was able to gain more of an understanding of what was happening to her, which in turn reduced this initial fear and confusion. Birmingham UFO Group Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 12/01/2014 Last Updated: 20/05/2025 Introduction James first got in touch with me after watching a video of the lecture I gave on contact at the UFO Truth Magazine Conference in November 2013. He informed me of a number of unusual incidents he had experienced back in 2012, and asked for my opinions on them. Some of these incidents may have mundane explanations, but there are a number of facts which suggest that James may be a contactee. This report covers his experiences in detail. Orb Sightings In early 2012 James moved into a new high rise flat in Glasgow. Soon after doing so he had a number of separate sightings of glowing orbs in the night sky. On some of these occasions it was clear that they were nothing more than Chinese lanterns or distant aeroplanes. But at other times James saw star-like lights which appeared to be perform controlled manoeuvres in the sky. He was convinced that these objects were not distant helicopters, although this of course cannot be entirely ruled out. Sleep Paralysis Later in the year James developed an interest in sleep paralysis and began reading about its symptoms. A short while after this he began to experience it for himself. It appeared that reading about it had somehow triggered his body into actually experiencing it. He began to suffer from bouts of sleep paralysis on consecutive nights. Sometimes during these experiences he would see shadowy beings standing in the room, but he is convinced these were a side effect of the paralysis and nothing more. He could tell at the time that he was in a dream-like state of mind. The Black Box One night James randomly woke up at around 4 o’clock in the morning.  He decided to stay awake, but in the end dropped back off at around 5am. He felt that he then slept for between 30-40 minutes before waking up again. When he opened his eyes he lifted his head off the pillow and looked round the room. On the other side of the room floating above the right hand side of the television was what appeared to be a small solid rectangular-shaped black box. It was hovering motionless in the air. James says that usually he would have panicked at the sight of such a thing, but for some reason when he looked at it he was filled with a sense of calmness and tranquillity. It also felt familiar to him, like he had seen it before and knew exactly what it was doing there. Mock up of the hovering black box based on witness description For an inexplicable reason instead of getting out of bed or reacting to the situation, James then dropped back off to sleep. It was as if he had told himself “It’s just one of those small back box things again, just go back to sleep”.  In the morning when he awoke he remembered the black box and the feelings that he had experienced when he observed it. He cannot explain why he acted in the manner he did and finds the whole incident very strange indeed. Red Faced Being Later in 2012 James was chatting with a family member. He was very relaxed and happy. When he closed his eyes he suddenly saw an unusual face staring at him. It looked like a man with blood red coloured skin, pointed ears and jet black hair. This man had an inverted triangular-shaped golden crust of bone protruding from between his eyebrows, and a menacing wide smile on his face. James was shocked by the vision and opened and closed his eyes again but the image was still present for a further 5 seconds, which felt longer at the time. After this the image of the face faded away. It felt to him that there had been some kind of screen behind his eyelids when he closed them. What could have been the explanation for what James saw? It seems unlikely that it was just his imagination. He had no reason to dream up the image of this face and was not thinking about ETs or his prior experiences at the time. Nor did he recognise the face in any way from anything he had seen elsewhere. It is possible that the image was a waking flashback to a being he had seen at some point in his past. I have looked into a number of other contact cases where very similar things have been reported – sudden clear visions of staring faces. However if the vision really was a flashback to an actual experience, the being which James reported is not one which I have heard described before. It is far from a commonly reported appearance, although it is possible other people have reported them and I have just not yet come across these cases. Copyright Dave Hodrien 2025

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 18/05/2025 In March 2025 I was contacted by a man named Gary Freeman via the BUFOG website to inform us about a historical UFO/UAP sighting he and his wife at the time Suzanne had. This report covers what took place.   Sighting Details   On the evening of 10th October 1990 Gary and Suzanne drove to the NEC for a Billy Joel concert. After the show they walked back to their car and got back on the road to head for home, with Gary driving and Suzanne in the passenger seat. It was a mild and dry night. Gary cannot recall whether it was cloudy or not.   They began heading North West along the M6 motorway. At approximately 11.30pm they were between Junctions 8 and 9 close to the RAC rescue centre, RAC Bescot. Due to the time of night there was only very light traffic on the road.   Aerial map of M6 indicating the position the witnesses were at Photograph of the M6 around where the incident took place Gary was checking the left side mirror when suddenly through the passenger window he saw a brightly glowing white cigar-shaped object appear in the sky to the South West at an elevation of approximately 45 degrees. It reminded him of a fluorescent light tube. He pointed it out to Suzanne.   Photograph of the sighting location in the direction the UFO was situated The object was stationary and positioned at a sharp angle, at roughly 10 o’clock position. It was hard to judge how far away it was, but it looked quite large in size, about 50% of the width of the window. They both stared at it while continuing to drive along the motorway. Mock up of the UFO based on witness description After about 10 seconds it suddenly began shrinking down to the size of a star, then disappeared. Neither of them could explain what they had just witnessed. They discussed what it could have been as they continued their drive home.   The following morning Gary mentioned the sighting to his work colleagues. However they did not seem to be surprised. Some girls in the office informed him that the BBC had reported on the morning radio multiple UFO sightings around the Birmingham area on the previous night. Gary is unsure whether the other objects reported by people looked the same as what he and Suzanne had seen.   Sighting Analysis   Due to the shape and apparent size of the object seen this is certainly an intriguing sighting. Due to the proximity of the sighting location to Birmingham International Airport (roughly 5 miles away) I asked Gary whether he felt it may have been an aircraft with its landing lights on. He does not believe this was the case because he has previously lived close to Manchester and Liverpool airports so is familiar with how planes look at a distance after dark. Aerial map showing the sighting location (A) and Birmingham International Airport (B) In addition to Gary’s familiarity with aircraft, there are other reasons for why it was unlikely to be a plane. If it was a plane, the sharp angle of the object in the sky means that it would have had to have been performing a turn. However it appeared stationary for the entire duration of the sighting. If it was turning in the sky, some movement would surely have been noticeable within the ten seconds it was observed for?   Also even though the bright landing lights of a plane can obscure other navigation lights at a distance, if it was plane it would have had to have been quite close to have taken up half the width of the passenger window in the sky. If it was close, other red and green lights or white strobe lights would have been visible to the witnesses.   Drawing indicating normal navigation lights of a passenger jet If it was not an aeroplane, what else could it have been? It was the wrong shape for a stationary helicopter, and once again other navigation lights would have been noticeable.   Even though it appeared to be within the atmosphere, we must consider objects out in orbit. Gary cannot recall whether it was a clear night or not. However it was too large and the wrong shape for a satellite moving towards them and catching the sun’s rays temporarily. Meteorites are only visible for a few seconds at most so cannot be the explanation. Nor could it have been the International Space Station as this was not in orbit until 1998.   A large lit inflatable would have remained visible in the sky. The sighting obviously occurred decades before drones were commercially available so this possibility can also be discounted.   With alternative explanations addressed, there remains the possibility that the object was a genuine advanced craft of possible non-human origin. I have investigated many cases of glowing cigar-shaped objects before. We will likely never know whether the other sightings reported by the BBC were of the same/similar objects, but this cannot be ruled out.   Copyright Dave Hodrien 2025

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Year: 2014 Last Updated: 18/05/2025   Sighting Details   Unfortunately not much is known about this incident as after receiving the below initial annotated drawing I received no further correspondence from the witness: As you can see, there is only limited information available. From the mock up they provided, it appears that the witness observed the objects in an area of forest while sitting outside during a work break. He initially observed a singular glowing orb of light moving in his direction. As it approached it suddenly split into 8 smaller orbs, which then continued to approach.   As the smaller orbs got closer the light coming from them dimmed and they then took on the appearance of rotating silver spheres. These spheres had visible lines on them separating them into sections, which reminded the witness of basketballs.   The witness did not provide any details regarding how long he observed these spheres for or how the sighting ended.   Sighting Analysis   To look at it from face value, this sighting could easily sound quite anomalous in nature, especially due to the splitting of the initial object and the appearance of the smaller objects when at closer range. However there is much which is not known, including the time of day and the manoeuvres of the objects throughout the sighting. It could be assumed that they moved in a controlled and intelligent manner but this has not been specifically stated.   If the sighting took place during daylight hours, one mundane explanation could be a group of drifting silver coloured balloons. Perhaps initially they were grouped closely together and reflecting sunlight brightly (which they would do if silver in colour). This could have created the impression of a singular bright orb of light.   Then after a short period of time the balloons could have naturally drifted apart, but still have continued to reflect light, giving the impression that the larger orb had split into smaller independent orbs.   As they got closer the glare from the reflected sunlight would have naturally died down (or perhaps the sun was hidden behind a cloud), which to the witness may have looked like the objects willingly turned lights off.   While the objects appeared to be spherical rather than the usual shape of balloons, silver-coloured novelty balloons cannot be fully ruled out. Maybe they were even from a basketball related celebration and were actually shaped like basketballs intentionally. The rotation of the smaller spheres could have been caused by drift in an air current.   All of the above said, there is the possibility that the sighting took place after dark, and the objects really were illuminated via lights which were then switched off. They may also have performed movements which showed them to be under intelligent control, which could immediately rule out the balloon explanation. Unless further information regarding this sighting comes to light we will probably have no way of knowing for certain whether the objects were mundane or not.   Copyright Dave Hodrien 2025

Birmingham UFO Group Case Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 17/02/2013 Last Updated: 01/05/2025 Note: For reasons of anonymity pseudonyms have been used Sighting Details It was around 11pm on 26th April 2009. Steve, who was 33 at the time, was on his way back home and walking along Baptist End Road. It was a dry, clear and relatively still evening. He glanced to his left across an area of allotment plots to the East , which afforded him a brief unobstructed view of the night sky. Aerial map of Baptist End Road showing the sighting location: It was now that he noticed a yellow light in the distance with smaller red pulsing lights close to it. It appeared to be at low altitude, between 50-100 metres in the air. Steve estimates it was about 500-600 metres from his location. At this point the main yellow light was bright enough to draw attention, but could easily have been dismissed as a helicopter. All the lights were moving very slowly to the North. They paid no notice of Steve, but looking in the direction of the lights one of them asked the other “Is that it again?” His curiosity heightened, Steve looked back at the lights. At this moment the yellow light flared up extremely brightly and appeared to triple in size, although this could have been due to the brightness. It was like a glowing yellow street lamp in the sky. The two teenagers said to Steve that they had seen it over the local reservoir and that it had split into two lights which headed off in separate directions. They sounded sincere and did not appear to be joking. As he ran, he tried to keep track of the lights in the sky, although they were largely obscured from view by buildings. About five minutes later he met up with his father who was out walking the dog. The lights were now a bit closer, perhaps 100 metres closer than they had initially been. It could now be seen a little clearer, and looked like a bright yellow light, with a red orb-like light behind it and a small red flashing light. The lights appeared to be connected to a single object which could not be seen due to the night sky. Going on the estimated distance, this object appeared to be about twice the size of a helicopter. It was completely silent. They both watched the object as it approached and flew past their location about 100 metres away from them. Steve’s dad did not seem to believe the object was anything unusual, and kept repeating “It’s just a helicopter, it’s just a helicopter.” Suddenly the object made an abrupt 45 degree turn and started flying away from Baptist End Road. Steve ran up the hill to get a better vantage point, but the lights were lost from sight. Out of interest, Steve noted later on that the object had moved off in the direction of a nearby radio mast. Before coming to BUFOG, Steve initially posted details of the incident on the UK UFO Sightings website (This website has since been discontinued) Sighting Analysis This is a very interesting sighting, and there are numerous aspects which point towards it being something unusual. Many sightings of glowing lights after dark turn out to be nothing more than Chinese lanterns. Although only lights were seen during the incident, they flew together and appeared to be attached to a single object. They did not drift but maintained the same pattern throughout. The sudden flare up of the main yellow light is also not consistent with lanterns. While the flame in lanterns can sometimes increase in brightness, it would then tend to die back down again, not remain consistently bright for the remainder of the sighting. The sudden sharp turn that the lights were seen to perform suggests it was an object under direct control rather than drifting on air currents. Steve is familiar with how lanterns look at a distance and says that they look nothing like what he saw that night. Could the object have been a helicopter or other aircraft, civilian or military? Lights on aircraft can sometimes seem to flare up extremely brightly as they change angle or distance. However this explanation seems unlikely due to the fact that it was completely silent, even at relatively close proximity to the witnesses. Steve says that he has since seen helicopters at the same distance that the object was believed to be at, and they can be easily heard. The sudden sharp turn that the object performed was not consistent with an aeroplane; it did not bank as it turned. It should be noted that the lighting configuration seen does not fit in with normal aircraft or helicopter navigation lights. We must also take into consideration what the two teenagers said. They described seeing the object split into two and head off in different directions. This does not sound in any way normal behaviour for Chinese lanterns, an aircraft, or any other mundane aerial object. Can what they said be trusted? Steve believes they were just as surprised and intrigued by the lights that he was. He did not feel that they were joking in any way when they quoted this. Unfortunately Steve is no longer in contact with his father, and does not know who the teenagers on the bikes were, so we only have his testimonial evidence to go on. However I have no the incident took place as he describes, and appears to have involved an unusual flying object under intelligent control. The object was seen for a lengthy period of time, so there may well have been other witnesses. If you have any information on this sighting or believe you saw it too, please get in touch. Birmingham UFO Group Report Author: Dave Hodrien Release Date: 01/06/2014 Last Updated: 30/04/2025 Mist Animals Sue was born in 1958. In the early years of her life she lived in a house on Simon Green Road, Huddersfield. When she was 2 she began to experience unusual mist which would appear in up by her bedroom ceiling on numerous occasions. Arial map of Simon Green Road The mist would look like a thick grey cloud, and would swirl and make shapes. It would sometimes take the form of animals, such as elephants or giraffes, up by the ceiling.  These shapes would move in the correct manner as if they were alive. She does not know how many times this occurred, but she thinks it was very regular indeed. She was not frightened by the presence of the mist, so never called out for her parents when she saw it. She would often drop off to sleep with the mist present in the room. Her mother was worried by this so decided to move her in with her older brother, who was 3 at the time. The following morning after changing rooms, both her and her brother woke up early. It was light enough in the room to see the surroundings. Suddenly the mist appeared at the base of Sue’s bed. It began to rise up, forming the shape of a figure. Soon her father entered the room and grabbed both of them and took them downstairs. Witness drawing of the mist figure from her viewpoint After the incident Sue began to fear seeing the mist again. But this was to be the last time she would ever see it. Soon afterwards the family moved to a new house. Years later Sue asked her father about what took place. He remembered how frightened her brother was, but did not recall seeing anything in the room at the time. Looking back on the incident her brother described it as a big grey hairy thing, but Sue remembers it as a grey misty figure. As Sue and her brother were both quite young at the time it would be easy to dismiss these incidents as simply childhood imagination. Perhaps the mist was simply dust particles getting caught in the light, and Sue’s imagination formed the animal shapes in her mind. However it is interesting that both her and her brother saw it, this tends to suggest that there was at least something present on that particular occasion. But if so why did their father not see anything when he came into the room? Perhaps it hid itself from him on purpose, or maybe it was present but he was so focused on getting the kids out of the room that he did not see it. Sue remembers it forming very specific shapes, which tends to suggest that the mist possessed intelligence. Could this have been an ET presence visiting her from an early age? Or was it a ghostly spirit of some kind? Flight Downstairs Sue remembers an incident which occurred where she feels she was floated down the stairs by an invisible force. She recalls standing at the top of the staircase. Suddenly a force of some kind picked her up into the air and gently floated her down the stairs. It felt like being inside a bubble, extremely silent and still. When she reached the base of the stairs the force let her go. She ran to the kitchen to tell her mother what had happened. Her mother brushed it off as her imagination. Many years later Sue spoke with her mother about this incident. Her mother confirmed that it took place and remembered her coming into the kitchen telling her what had happened. Dreams & Feelings After moving house to a property on Longfield Avenue things seemed to settle down for a number of years. However when she was around 11 Sue began to feel like she did not belong with her own family. She felt that her real family was somewhere else, like she was adopted. Aerial map of Longfield Avenue These feelings grew stronger by the day. In some ways she felt this about everyone, about the human race in general. She still feels the same to this day. It is like she is searching for something, but she does not know what. At night she began to experience very vivid dreams of flying. In these dreams she would be soaring over cities and countryside extremely fast. These led to her having out-of-body experiences where she felt she could leave her physical body behind and travel to other places. This happened on at least a few occasions. She never really discussed these experiences with her family as she was so used to them occurring that she felt everyone must get them. Paranormal Activity In her late teens Sue moved out of her parent’s house and got married. She moved into a house with her husband on the adjoining road, Sycamore Avenue. Aerial map of Sycamore Avenue A lot of the time her husband would work away, so Sue would be left in the house with just the baby for company. About a fortnight after moving in she began to experience paranormal activity. The first thing which began to occur was the sound of footsteps walking up the wooden staircase. They would come up the stairs, along the landing and stop outside the bedroom door. This would be followed by the sound of breathing and sometimes a woman coughing. Sue was extremely frightened by the noises and would never open the door to see what was there. On one occasion a bright shimmering light with no obvious source appeared on the wall. The house was an under-dwelling and there were no windows near to where the light was which could have accounted for it. Sue went outside to look around but could not find an explanation. It dispersed after about 15 minutes As time went on this activity became heightened. Sue would hear unexplained banging noises, doors would slam of their own accord without warning, and the baby’s glass bottle even exploded for no apparent reason. Sue began to get sick of what was taking place. In the end she asked her oldest brother Luke and sister-in-law Emily to come and stay with her for several weeks. For the first two weeks there was no strange goings on at all and everything seemed fine. But on an evening in the third week Luke went to have a bath while she and Emily went downstairs to make a hot drink. Suddenly they heard Luke calling out from upstairs. They went to the base of the stairs and shouted up to him to see what he wanted. Immediately he came running down the stairs into the front room in a towel. He looked panicked and was still dripping wet. Sue and Emily asked him what had happened. He informed them that he had heard footsteps walk along the landing followed by a coughing sound outside the bathroom door. He opened the door expecting it to be Sue or Emily and at this moment had realized there was nobody there. These strange incidents continued at the property until they left. Due to the fact that multiple independent people were experiencing unusual activity at the house, Sue was convinced that the property was haunted. Silver Sphere Sightings In 1978 when Sue was 19 years old she had her first son. Several months after he was born, Sue saw a silver coloured sphere hovering in the sky over her house. As she watched, the object began to move very fast and shot vertically into the sky. Soon afterwards she informed her mother about what she had seen. Her mother said that she too had seen a silver sphere soon after Sue was born! She was out walking and pushing Sue in a pram back to Simon Green Road. It was a bright summer’s day with a clear sky. She stopped for a quick rest as the area is quite hilly. She happened to glance up into the sky and noticed a glinting object catching the sunlight. Shading her eyes she could see it was a silver-coloured spherical object hovering motionless in the sky. After a few minutes the object suddenly ascended rapidly and disappeared from sight in the same manner that Sue reported seeing. Black Wolf When her son was about 5 months old, Sue’s husband was working away from home, so Sue decided to go round and spend the night at her mother’s house. During the night she awoke to see a huge black-furred wolf with red eyes. She was frozen with fear for a short while. When she got enough courage she ran and grabbed her son then ran downstairs to tell her mother. Unsurprisingly she refused to go back into the room, so decided to return home that night. About a month later her younger brother was staying at her mother’s house when he too saw the wolf. He described it exactly the same as how Sue had seen it – large with black fur, blazing red eyes and snarling. Oval UFO Sighting By 1984 Sue had re-married and had four other sons, one of whom sadly passed away in a tragic accident.  One snowy evening her sister rang her up and suggested taking the kids sledging down by a local beauty spot. Sue agreed and they met up at the location. While playing with the children, Sue looked up into the sky and saw a massive oval shaped UFO hovering above them with lights strobing all around it. She thought everyone else had seen it too but after it had gone she asked them and neither her sister or any of the children had observed it. Further Activity It is not just Sue who has experienced unusual paranormal activity around her home. Soon after her eldest son moved into a house in Marsten with his wife and baby, a very un-nerving incident took place.  He rang up Sue during the night to inform her that lots of weird stuff was going on in the property – banging noises, red lights appearing on the walls and sounds similar to beating wings in the bedroom. He sounded extremely frightened so Sue headed straight round. When she arrived she found her son, his wife and child all waiting outside. They refused to go back into the house. Sue brought them back to her place, but they were so affected by what had taken place that they decided to move house not long after. However the unusual activity appeared to follow them to the new property. Once again one evening they rang Sue asking to be picked up. They informed her that they had been watching TV when suddenly an extremely bright white-coloured light came down the stairs, setting off electrical devices and toys as it passed. They also informed her that on another occasion they had heard a child calling out seemingly coming from a cupboard. Just like before they decided to move house to try and get away from whatever was taking place. Her son and his wife still hear unexplained noises in their current house, but have grown to live with it. Pear-Shaped UFO Photograph On 16th August 2009 Sue’s 3rd son held a birthday party for his daughter. It was a warm sunny day and the family were out in the back garden. Heather decided to take some photographs of everyone. She did not notice anything unusual at the time. But later on when she loaded them onto the computer she noticed that on one of the photographs there was a strange pear-shaped object in the sky. It appeared to be either white in colour or metallic and reflective.   Original photograph with the object ringed Zoomed view of the UFO Zoomed view with edge find Sue decided to contact the local newspaper and send them the photograph. They sadly made fun of it, but still decided to report on the incident. It was also mentioned in a UFO-related article in the Daily Mail. It is clearly not an aircraft or helicopter. It does not look the right shape to be a hot air balloon, and if it was surely Sue would have noticed it in the sky when taking the picture. While the object initially looks like it is in the distance in the sky, it could well be a much smaller object closer to the camera. It is the wrong shape for a bird, but it is possibly a piece of debris of some kind falling past the camera lens or getting blown up into the air. This would not have been noticed at the time just as Sue reports. Sky Watch Photographs After the birthday party UFO incident Sue’s interest in the subject was sparked, so she began regularly sky watching outside her house in Longwood. This resulted in some further UFO photographs. Oval and "dove" shaped light anomalies: Glowing white UFOs: Orange orbs: While certainly interesting, taken on their own merit the above photographs could be easily be explained using mundane terms. The oval-shaped and dove-shaped UFOs are likely to be down to light reflection in the lens. The bright white bar-like object is simply a white light which has been stretched out (changing in brightness) due to extended exposure time. The white curling thread-like object is a white point of light which has been stretched out into a line by camera shake. And the orange orbs could easily be several glowing sky lanterns (The rings seen inside the singular orange orb are a camera artefact caused by the brightness not actual markings) If Sue comes back with other details regarding these sightings, such as the way in which the objects were moving, then perhaps some of these mundane explanations can be disregarded. Reptilian Being One evening after work Sue decided to go outside with her camera to do some sky watching with a friend. She was taking some photos of the sky when suddenly in the flash she saw a short lizard-like being. It was about 3 foot high and reminded her of an Iguana standing upright on two legs. Understandably Sue was extremely shocked and immediately ran back into the house leaving her friend outside. Her friend followed her back into the house and asked what was going on. He informed her that all the solar lights had lit up. These lights were full of rainwater and had not worked properly for a couple of years. Her friend suggested they go back outside and take some more photographs. Initially Sue refused but after a while plucked up the courage to head back out. Her friend stood in the place where she had been standing and took a couple of photos then asked Sue to take a couple of shots of him.  When they uploaded the photographs to the computer they were shocked to see a strange looking figure on the bushes. It looked almost like a hologram and reminded Sue of the famous Edvard Munch famous painting “The Scream”. "The Scream" Unfortunately Sue has not yet provided me with this photograph, but from her description it is possible that the figure seen in the photograph may have been down to pareidolia, which is the brain's natural tendency to make recognisable patterns from patches of light and dark, very often figures or faces. Abduction Experience Sue believes that on an evening in 2010 she was abducted. At the time there were two friends of the family staying at the house but her husband was away on business. After doing some chores she decided to go and have a bath. After running the water, Sue turned off the bath tap then went and sat on her bed to take her boots off. At this point she suddenly felt the urge to lie down on the bed still clothed, something she would never do. She then found she could not move. Next several small beings came floating through the window of the room. They approached the side of the bed. The beings appeared to be wearing skin tight black suits that covered most of their bodies. They had slender long arms and legs. Their faces appeared to be made out of liquid metal with no facial features visible. One finger on each hand was longer than the others. One of the beings reached over her and placed a thin membrane similar to cling film over her face. Sue is unsure whether she blacked out, but at this moment she immediately found herself out in space standing inside a craft of some kind. It was oval in shape and about 20 feet in length. The curved walls were nearly transparent, but had translucent colours reflecting on their surface similar to being inside a large bubble. Through the walls she could see the stars and had a view of the Earth. The sight was absolutely stunning and it took her breath away. Strangely she seemed to be able to see all around her even though she was only looking in one direction, which she found confusing. Behind her stood more of the beings. Strangely Sue felt no fear of the situation, she almost felt like she was one of the. They began to speak to her using telepathy and she heard a voice inside her mind, asking her to look down at the Earth. When she did she watched a huge explosion with a mushroom cloud rise up from the planet. She has no idea of what caused the explosion, but believes it was a meteorite strike. Her heart sank at the sight. One of the beings put its hand on her shoulder and said that she would be ok. The next thing she became aware of was being back on her bed. Initially she could not recall the craft or beings. She felt confused, dizzy and tired. She stood up and found that her body felt extremely weak. She rested against the upstairs banister for a long while. Then the memories of where she had been began to come back to her. Later on Sue found out that a man down the end of her street had seen a glowing ball of light hovering over her house on the night of the abduction. Also there were two crop formations which appeared around that time in the area of Huddersfield, though we have no way of knowing if they were anything to do with Sue’s abduction. Sue is not the only person to have been abducted from Huddersfield in 2010. I investigated another case from the town last year, the report of which can be read here. While most aspects of the two abductions do not match, it is possible that both women have been taken by two different groups of ETs as part of some wider program. Lit UFO Sighting On 2nd August 2013 Sue’s 13 year old grandson Adam Farrar and his friend Brandon Woods both witnessed a huge object hovering over Sue’s house. It had a large central glowing white light and two smaller white lights visible on the underside. The boys ran round the house to get a better look at the object, by which time it had moved over nearby moorland. It then suddenly shot away and was lost from sight. After the sighting Sue got the boys to independently draw what they had seen. Below are their drawings: The similarities between the pictures are clear. Adam noted that the object looked circular, like a disc, although it is possible this was caused by the bright glow coming off the central light. As you can see, Brandon has not drawn this outer edge, only the three lights. Also Brandon has drawn lines linking the smaller lights to the main one, whereas Adam did not. It is unclear whether he observed these lines or whether he has drawn them just to indicate the three were linked and moved together in unison. If they had only observed these lights it could be easy to dismiss this sighting as an aircraft against the dark sky. However surely other red or green navigation lights would also have been visible? And a plane would not have shot away in the manner that the boys reported. Conclusion It is clear that Sue and her family have experienced many unusual events over the years, some of which appear to be ET related. Sue’s abduction contains some odd elements not usually experienced by contactees, but also some aspects which are commonly reported. While we cannot entirely rule out the idea that it was a vivid dream brought on by sleep paralysis, there is still enough detail to suggest it actually took place. One of the aspects which I find particularly impressive is that her neighbor reported seeing a glowing UFO over the house on the same night.  It is unknown whether any of the UFO sightings Sue and her family have had, or the paranormal activity they have experienced is in any way linked with contact. However contactees regularly report unusual activity in their proximity so there does seem to be some connection, although the reasons for this are not yet known. Due to the amount of incidents which have taken place so far, I feel it is very likely that Sue’s experiences will continue.
