Birmingham UFO Group Case Report

In October 2021 I was contacted by a nurse from Ombersley, near Stourport, who I shall name “Marie”. She wanted to discuss various experiences she has had throughout her life. I arranged an extensive Facebook Messenger video call to go over what has taken place.

Timelines

In 1971 when she was 6 years old she was out walking through Kidderminster with her family (she cannot recall where). As she walked along the street she could suddenly see on one side of the street old fashioned housing and ladies wearing what appeared to be Victorian dresses. When she looked on the other side of the street she saw men wearing silver coloured suits. It was as if she was seeing both past and future at the same time, like both had bled into the present for a short period of time.

This phenomenon is what is commonly referred to as a “time slip”, although it is very rare to see multiple different times at once. She did not tell her mother “Sarah” what she could see, back then it felt like this was completely normal. It was only later when she discussed her experiences that she realised this was anything but.

Coloured Auras

Marie claims to be able to have been able to sometimes see glowing coloured auras around people since a very early age, which sometimes relate to their emotional state.

An example from her childhood which she discussed with me occurred in the early 1970s when she was around 6 years old. She and her mum “Sarah” were out walking in Kidderminster. They were walking Eastward along Offmore Road.

A man was walking towards them. As they were holding hands and the pavement was not particularly wide the man started to shift from side to side wondering how to get past. In the end they came to a halt facing one another. Everyone saw the lighter side of the situation and started to laugh.

 Marie began to see bubbles of colourful energy all around the body of the man. They seemed more prominent around his upper half. She viewed this as being able to visualize the joyfulness coming from the man. She was not frightened, it was really uplifting.

Around age 11 Marie started at a new school. She was listening to the teacher as he walked across the classroom. As he walked she could see a bright blue glow emanating from his body. Initially she wondered if it was a trick of the light, but it remained as he moved around to different parts of the room. She was absolutely fascinated.

At that time in her life she was living with “Claire”, a friend of her mothers who was a medium. That evening she told her what had happened. Claire informed her that what she was seeing was the etheric body, believed by some to be the first layer in the human energy field.

Marie began to interpret different colours as different emotions. She would tell her friends how they were feeling. When they asked her how she knew this, she would let them know that she could see it.

One day a girl was walking towards her who appeared to have a rosy pink haze all around her. Marie said to her “Oooo you look like you’re in love!” The girl looked at her shocked. She informed Marie that a boy that she had been interested in for ages had just asked her out.

OBEs

For a period of several months, in either the following year or the year after, Marie claims that she would be able to consciously bring on out-of-body experiences at will.

After this she lost the ability to initiate it directly, but it would still sometimes happen naturally when she was either lying in bed or meditating.

The last time it happened was when she was in a meditation group around age 15. She tumbled out of her physical body and floated up above the roof of the house. She looked down at her house and up at the stars.

Disc Encounter

One day when she was around 9-10 years old she was playing with her younger brother “Lee” in the back garden of their terraced house in Kidderminster. It was a sunny and dry day with some light cloud, but a chill in the air.

Lee was further down the garden, about 20 feet from her. Suddenly she had a very ominous feeling like something was about to happen. She then heard a low humming noise which made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. She looked up into the sky to find the source of this strange sound.

Hovering right over her brother was a disc-shaped object. It was about 25 feet in diameter, and a grey-silver colour. In the centre of the base was a circular section, possibly a door. On the top was a low dome shape. Around the central rim of the object was rotating red, white and green coloured lights which were blinking on and off.

The UFO hovered completely still in the air. Lee had also noticed the object and was looking directly up at it. They stood there staring for what felt to be about a minute. The next thing Marie became aware of was Sarah running down the garden. She grabbed hold of Lee, ran back towards her, grabbed hold of her too, and shouted “Get in the house!” 

She pulled them both back inside the back door, slammed and locked the door. Both she and Lee were awestruck by what had happened, but Sarah was terrified. Lee ran upstairs out of sight.

After a minute or so Sarah and Marie headed upstairs to go and see if he was alright. They found him standing by the window of his bedroom and waving. The UFO was still there hovering over the back garden. Lee said that he could see some portholes with figures inside the windows, and that one of them had waved back at him.

Sarah was really cross and shouted “Get away from the window!” She took them both downstairs, out of the front door of the house and across the road to where their grandparents lived. Marie’s grandfather “Derek” opened the door. Still frightened, Sarah informed him of what had just taken place.

They looked up and saw that the disc had followed them across the road and was now positioned half over the roof! They quickly all headed inside. Marie does not believe her grandfather had seen it properly as he told them to not be silly and said that it must be a helicopter. Agitated by this suggestion Sarah said to him “Don’t be ridiculous, how can it be a helicopter?”

They did not see the UFO after this. When they finally headed back outside it was nowhere in sight. They did not talk about the incident much afterwards. However, Marie does recall that there were some reports about UFO sightings in the local newspaper. Sadly she did not keep the articles, and without a precise date it would be extremely challenging to attempt to track them down.

Several years later Marie and Lee decided to tell their cousins about the sighting. They decided at this stage to independently draw the object. When they checked they saw that the two drawings were identical. This felt like confirmation that it had taken place as they remembered it.

Messages From Beyond

When Marie was 17 she was around her boyfriend “Stuart’s” house for Christmas with his family. They were all sitting together in the living room. She was sitting on the sofa. All of a sudden out of the corner of her eye she saw a glowing light.

Looking across the room she saw a small Christmas card on a shelf. The card looked like it had glowing light emanating from it. As her attention was drawn to it she got a vision of the card really close to her face for a brief moment. She thought to herself “Ok, who’s that card from?”

She pointed out the card to Stuart and asked him. He said to her “That card’s from grandmother.” Marie responded saying “I thought your gran had died?” Stuart explained that this was the last card she ever sent his mother “Jenny”, so every year since she would put it there in memory of her.

Armed with this information Marie closed her eyes and relaxed. In her mind she asked whether there was a particular reason the card had been brought to her attention. Immediately she felt a warm sensation of peace and love wash over her. Tears began to roll down her cheeks.

She then saw the vision of an elderly lady’s face in her mind really close in front of her. The lady had curled grey coloured hair, pale blue eyes and a hooked narrow nose. She had never met Stuart’s grandmother but assumed that this must be her. In her mind she said “Oh hello!” Excitedly the lady responded saying “I’ve got through! I’ve got through! Tell Jenny I’m alright, I promised I’d let her know.” Marie agreed to this request.

She then got an impression that she was sitting in the chair alongside the sofa. She immediately sensed that this had been her favourite chair. She asked Stuart “Did your gran have a favourite chair in the room?” He asked her why, puzzled by the smile on her face and tears on her cheeks. Pointing at the chair, Marie said “Did your nan used to sit in this chair here?” Stuart said “Yeah! Whenever she came over she would sit in that chair!”

Marie went on to explain the vision of the lady she’d got and what she’d been told. Stuart said “You’d better come and tell mum.” They went and found her. Marie said “I don’t want to scare you. I’ve just had a message. I believe it’s from your mum!” She told Jenny what the lady had said. Shocked, she just exclaimed “Good god!” Jenny then explained that she had a pact with her mother, that whoever died first would try to come back and let the other know they are alright.

Marie described what the lady had looked like. Jenny informed her that this is was her mother. She then went and got some photographs of her for Marie to see. Sure enough, it was her she had seen in her mind!

On another occasion Marie was looking to purchase a house in Gloucester. She decided to go to visit a particular housing estate to take a look at the properties there. When she arrived at the estate she had familiar feeling of being connected with the area, even though she had never been there before.

For an unknown reason she felt a compulsion to walk a particular direction, almost like a magnetic pull. She walked around a corner and noticed an estate agent. Heading inside, a lady came out of the back room. There were no other customers at the time. Marie said “I’m just killing a bit of time, do you mind if I hover around here and have a look?”

The lady was fine with this and even offered to make her a cup of coffee. When she came back out with the drinks, Marie went and sat down facing her. Behind her was a plain grey coloured wall. They began chatting. All of a sudden she saw a glowing pinprick of white light above the lady’s right shoulder. It grew in intensity like a flash. This was not the first time she’d seen this. She knew that it meant someone wanted to get through from the other side.

She could have said nothing, but instead decided to act on it. She said to the lady “Look I know I’ve only just met you. Do you believe in anything spiritual?” Surprised by the question the lady responded “Oh that’s really strange you should say that. A long time ago I would have said no. But I had a really strange experience recently which changed my mind!” Marie said “I don’t want to freak you out but I feel there’s someone trying to connect with you on a spirit level.”

Marie sensed that the spirit was male. She said to the lady “It’s a male energy, but very gentle. I’m seeing the colour baby blue. The letter J. Six months ago.” The lady’s face suddenly looked shocked. She informed Marie that her daughter had lost a baby boy six months ago, and she had nicknamed him J for Junior. She started to cry.

Marie sensed that the spirit needed to connect with this lady, and had made a very strong link with her. She informed the lady that he’s going to grow up and stay connected with her and her daughter. The lady could barely believe what she was being told. She was crying but happy at the same time.

Dreams

Soon after her encounter with the UFO Marie began to have some very vivid dreams which appeared related.

In one she was near the top of a grass-covered hill. She peered over the ridge and lower down on the other side was a landed craft with beings outside it. They were wearing silvery-white coloured body suits.

One of them appeared to sense Marie looking at them and glanced up at her. She thought to herself “Oh my god, they’ve seen me!” She crouched back down out of sight. Suddenly the being appeared right next to her. This was the last thing she recollected.

In another dream she was crouching in a hall with a lot of other people. Everyone was really frightened so keeping low to the floor. At the front of the hall stood a number of alien beings. They had large eyes and were wearing black coloured body suits covered in a mesh like texture.

Marie could feel the beings scanning the room in an attempt to find humans who were receptive to them. She felt a magnetic pull towards them which felt really ominous and made her heart beat fast. Nobody else stood up. Even though she was scared she felt a pull in her mind to stand up.

In the end she decided that the beings were not there to harm her so gave in and approached them. The beings led her into an adjoining room of some kind. This was where the dream ended.

While Marie cannot relate either of these dreams to real locations which she was aware of, it is possible that aspects of them were flashbacks to things which she had experienced. It does seem perhaps too coincidental that these occurred following the sighting of the disc.

Meditative Vision

Around 2011 Marie would meet up regularly with a group of other like-minded people in Ombersley to meditate. One of her friends at the group claimed to be in contact with ETs through their mediation. Marie decided to open herself up to the possibility of potentially linking with them too.

She sank into a peaceful state and welcomed them to make contact. Suddenly she saw the face of a Grey in front of her with large dark eyes. Initially she was frightened of the presence of this being. She then heard a voice inside her mind seemingly from it not her. It said that her fear was produced by chemicals and pollution. That what we put into our bodies is poisoning and creating a screen through which we look at the world.

She then saw a vision of the being again a little further away from her. It was quite short in height, had a large head but skinny body. She sensed pure love coming from its eyes. It wanted to express that they are trying to help. In her mind Marie asked “Who are you?” The being replied “Arshan.” It then explained that it would like to work with her to strengthen her mental focus. Marie was taken aback by this and said “Ok, thank you!” With this the vision faded.

Since this incident occasionally Marie had got a feeling that the being is linking with her while she is in a meditative state.

How you view these claims will depend entirely on whether you believe mediation can be a method of communicating with non-human beings. There is obviously no proof beyond what Marie claims to have taken place, nor any proof that it is genuine contact. But I have dealt with a number of cases over the years where people claim to have met beings while meditating.

Conclusions

Marie appears to possess a number of sixth sense abilities. Psychic abilities like these are commonly mentioned by experiencers, and there is a definite link with contact, although exactly what that link is has not yet been conclusively proved.

The UFO sighting that Marie and her family had is impressive and certainly seemed to be an advanced craft as opposed to mis-identification of something mundane, and the fact that it was followed by numerous vivid dreams is intriguing and suggests that more may have occurred than she can currently recollect.

This case appears to be ongoing, and it is great to see that Marie appears to have moved past her initial fears. She may well continue to have further experiences, so this report could be added to in the future.
