Birmingham UFO Group Case Report

Introduction
In September 2021 I was contacted by a lady named Lisa via Facebook. She had read one of my recently released case reports and mentioned that she and her mother had seen a triangular UFO. Her mother reported the sighting to a paranormal investigator from North West England named Harry Harris. She is not sure of what became of the information she passed on to him.
I asked Lisa if she would like to get this sighting down on record via the BUFOG website, which she was more than happy to proceed with. We arranged a phone call to go over what happened. In our conversation I discovered that this was merely one of many experiences Lisa and her family have had over the years. This report covers all these incidents in depth.
UFO Intercept
Lisa says that her father “Andrew” had a UFO sighting in the 1960s before she was born. He was in his 20s at the time and saw the object over junction 2 of the M602 motorway close to Eccles, Salford where he lived at the time.
He did not describe what it looked like but said that he saw it from a window of his house on Ennismore Avenue.
Andrew said that he witnessed a couple of military jets chasing after the object. Sadly he never provided Lisa with any further details.
TV Repair Man
In her childhood Lisa lived with her parents on Gwenbury Avenue, Stockport.
In 1976 or 1977 when Lisa was 5-6 years old the television set in the living room stopped working. Within two hours of this happening there was a knock at the front door. Her mother “Rachel” went to answer it. There was a gentleman standing there. Lisa cannot remember what he looked like.
The main said to her “I’ve come to fix your TV.” Surprised by this, Rachel responded “I haven’t rang anyone. Where have you got this information from?” The man claimed that someone had rang up. Rachel was very confused as she was certain that neither her nor her husband “Andrew” had contacted any repair companies, but she let the man in regardless.
This is an odd situation. Obviously this was decades before smart televisions, so there is no way the repair company would have detected that their television was broken. However, it was probably just down to a misunderstanding. Perhaps Andrew had rang someone up but Rachel was unaware of this fact.
Flying Triangle
One night in the summer of 1978 at around midnight Lisa was roused from her sleep by Rachel. Her mother asked her to come to the bedroom window. She didn’t feel frightened but for some reason did not want to get out of bed and go and look. Rachel started to describe seeing a lit triangular shaped object moving towards the house.
From her bed Lisa could see red and green flashing lights. Her mother stated that the object had moved out of sight over the roof of the house.
The next thing Lisa became aware of was waking up in the morning. Rachel reached out to a paranormal investigator from North West England named Harry Harris. Lisa recalls two men coming to the house later on to discuss the sighting with her mother. She recalls the men asking her mother if she had smelt anything, and her mother stating that she had smelt sulphur.
In the weeks following the sighting her mother started to act strangely in various ways. Lisa believes that her mother had a nervous breakdown because of what had happened. She began drawing strange patterns and colouring them in. One day she was talking with Andrew. Lisa overheard her say that it was “too much for her head to handle”.
Looking back to that time in her life Lisa also remembers going into her living room and seeing test tubes and people wearing white coats. However, she feels that this may have just been a vivid dream which has stuck in her head for some reason.
Orb Formation
On an evening in 1980 Lisa and Rachel headed out to walk their pet dog round the local park. It was a pleasant, dry and clear evening. As they reached the end of Gwenbury Avenue and were about to turn right onto Elswood Road her mother happened to glance behind her.
It was at this point that she noticed a line of small white orbs of light hovering silently over the houses at an elevation of about 45 degrees. They seemed to be about 1000 feet up. She pointed them out to Lisa. There were about 6-7 of them sitting motionless in the sky. Lisa is certain that they were independent objects rather than lights on a singular large object.
They both stared at the line of orbs for up to 10 minutes, excitedly talking with one another. Sadly they did not have a camera on them. After a while they decided to continue their walk to the park, leaving the orbs still present. On the return journey home they were no longer visible.
OBE
When she was either 10 or 11 Lisa had to go to the dentist to have a tooth extracted. Back then gas was regularly used to knock out patients during operations.
While undergoing the extraction, Lisa suddenly found herself in a standing position looking down at the back of the dentist bending over her. Strangely she could only see in black and white instead of full colour. She does not recall what happened next or how she re-entered her body.
Ironically I have personally experienced almost exactly the same thing when I was 14 years old, so do not doubt Lisa’s claims at all. The only difference was I could see in colour. It is common for people to have out-of-body experiences while unconscious during operations, there are many cases on record which have taken place at hospitals around the world.
Sunlight
One sunny day in the 1980s Lisa recalls looking at the sun and for some reason it was green in colour. When she looked away and looked back it was normal again. Ever since this incident she has always had an odd feeling about the sun.
In 2017 scientists at NASA used specialized green filters on cameras mounted on research jets during the solar eclipse in order to study the sun’s outer atmosphere. When Lisa found out about this she wondered if she had experienced a precognition of this decades before.
Repeat experiencers often report having precognitions or premonitions of future events. That said, if this was such an incident, it seems like a very odd thing to have a precognition of.
Mother’s Precognitions
In 1985 when she was 14-15 years old Lisa recalls Rachel informing her about a number of visions she was having. She claimed that she kept seeing the American actor Paul Michael Glaser and his family. At the time Paul was most well-known for his portrayal of Detective Dave Starsky in the television series Starsky & Hutch. In her visions Paul’s wife Elizabeth and daughter Ariel appeared very poorly and were vomiting.
Rachel was confused about what the visions could mean, so according to Lisa she decided to reach out Paul directly. She apparently talked with him but he was apparently very guarded and did not say much.
However, a number of months later it was announced that Paul’s wife and daughter were both HIV positive. It turned out that Elizabeth had contracted the disease through a blood transfusion while giving birth back in August 1981, but did not find out for several years. When Rachel heard the news she was convinced that she had experienced numerous precognitions of their illness. Sadly, Ariel died in 1987 and Elizabeth in 1994.
Lisa says that her mother had other precognitions too, including a train crash that occurred, although she did not provide much details about this.
Nordic Visitation Dream
Around the same time in her life Lisa recalls having a vivid dream. In this dream a male Nordic being came to the front door. He was wearing a one-piece blue suit with some kind of insignia on it. He had straight, shoulder-length blond coloured hair, and extremely blue eyes. His face looked kind.
Lisa was aware that there was some kind of barrier between them. The Nordic wanted to enter the property but Lisa did not want him to. He spoke with her telepathically, saying “Don’t be frightened, we are just like you.” This is all she could recall taking place.
Even though this could conceivably be memories of an actual visitation Lisa currently interprets it as a dream. She says that she was looking into the contact phenomenon at the time.
Further Precognitions
One morning in 2006 Lisa woke up around 5am. As she lay there in bed she suddenly heard a voice in her right ear say “Eddie’s dead.” The voice had no particular male or female tone to it. She immediately sat bolt upright in bed, freaked out about what had just occurred.
She was aware that her uncle’s name was Eddie and that he was suffering from cancer. Later in the day the family found out that he had had a tablet overdose (either accidentally or on purpose) and was extremely ill. Soon afterwards they heard the sad news that he had passed away. Lisa felt sure that she had somehow known he was going to die, and this knowledge materialized as the voice in her ear, or that she had been directly told this information by an unknown entity.
On the night of 13th February 2013 Lisa had a vivid dream in which she was running surrounded by lots of other frightened people. Everyone was trying to get inside buildings or underground. She could feel the sensation of small rocks hitting her.
Two days after the dream she saw a news report about an 18-metre-wide meteorite which had entered the atmosphere over Ural, Russia. The meteorite did not hit the ground but exploded over Chelyabinsk Oblast at a height of 30 km, raining down debris over the area.

Writing on the Wall
One morning in 2018 while Lisa was in the process of waking up she saw some sparkling lights on the wall of her bedroom. She suffers from diabetes and thought this was somehow affecting her eyes so decided to visit her GP. However, they said that this was not a known side effect and that they’d not heard of this before.
She started to see these lights on other occasions too, again while waking up or dropping off. Then things became even more unusual. Instead of sparkling lights she began to see numbers and letters written in either luminous green or luminous red. Whenever she got out of bed and approached them they would fade away. They seemed almost holographic in nature.
The symbols never made sense, like understandable words she could read. Over the coming years she saw them about seven times.
The reason for the symbols is at this point unknown. When they have appeared they have been recognisable numbers and English letters rather than unusual shapes. While it is possible that they are some kind of communication from an alien intelligence, it is also possible that they are paranormal in nature or that there is an unusual medical explanation for their appearance.
Precognitions Continue
By 2019 Lisa had moved into a bungalow on Verdun Road, Eccles with her partner “Dave”
One night she had a dream about Dave’s brother in which he was crying. In the morning she wondered if there was anything to it. Later on in the day he turned up at the house extremely upset about something.
On another night Lisa dreamt about the Queen. Again she appeared to be upset. In the morning she decided to look online to see if there was any reason for why she would have been upset at this time. She apparent found out it was the anniversary of the death of a close family member.
Light Blue Orbs
Due to her previous experiences one night in November 2019 she decided to try and communicate via telepathy to see if she could get any craft to appear.
She stood by the window of the bedroom and stared out into the night sky. Dave was fast asleep on the bed behind her. It was a really clear night with the stars fully visible. In her mind she asked “If there’s anything there can you show yourself?”
Initially nothing out of the ordinary took place. After a while she noticed a line of Starlink satellites heading over. She then began to notice other moving white lights which could easily have been other satellites or meteorites.
Suddenly without warning a large blue-white glowing orb suddenly appeared in the sky to the North East! It was brightly glowing like an arc welding torch. It dropped vertically downward a short distance, perform a right angle turn and then move across the sky to the right quite a distance before halting. This was followed by another orb, then another. They then started to vanish in sequence as more continued to appear and perform the same movement pattern.
This continued for a while, with roughly 4-5 orbs visible at any one time! They looked like they were only about half a mile away from her location over Duke's Drive Car Park and were lining up at an altitude of around 400 feet.
Lisa was astounded at what was taking place. She was convinced that the orbs were appearing in response to her request. She did not attempt to record them on her smartphone as she says the camera on it at the time was not very good. Nor did she attempt to wake up Dave to come and see them. She felt that if she looked away or broke her concentration the orbs would disappear.
After about half an hour the orbs stopped appearing and those remaining in the sky vanished one by one. In the morning she mentioned what had happened to both Dave and her brother, but is not sure whether they really believed her.
Further Orb Sightings
Within weeks of the blue-white orbs Lisa had further sightings. On numerous separate nights she witnessed golden-white coloured orb sin the early hours of the morning. These orbs would move across the sky in an arc from right to left and would move a lot slower than meteorites would move at. As they moved they would tumble and wobble up and down.
Eventually they would be lost from sight behind other housing on her street. Lisa was convinced that they were linked to the blue-white orbs she had previously witnessed. In total she saw them about 5 different times.
Light Communication
In November Lisa read an article about a girl who had apparently managed to communicate with distant UFOs in the night sky by flashing a torch. She decided that she would try the same technique, so purchased a torch with a high powered beam.
One clear night she went and sat in a deckchair in the back garden. She saw numerous white star-like objects crossing the sky. To all intents and purposes they appeared to be satellites. However Lisa says that sometimes when she flashed the torch at them they appeared to respond by briefly growing in brightness. It was as if they were flashing back at her.
After this success she started to do the same on other nights. On one occasion she says that a particular white light appeared to respond numerous times over a period of 5-6 minutes. She also tried communicating in her mind, asking “If you’re there and not a satellite can you flash?” Apparently on some occasions this was successful.
While some of these could potentially have been distant craft communicating with her, it is also possible that they were merely satellites rotating and catching the sun’s rays, causing them to briefly increase in brightness. This is extremely common, and if they happened to do this at the right time this could easily be interpreted as intentional communication. The one light which apparently did this multiple times over a number of minutes sounds particularly intriguing, but Lisa did not manage to capture this on camera so we only have her word to go on.
Sparkling Orb
By 2021 Lisa and Dave had moved to their current house, still within Eccles (Road name provided but omitted for anonymity).
At 2am on a night in March 2021 Lisa was in the bedroom again looking out of the window. All of a sudden a bright star-like orb entered the right of her vision. It appeared to be about 600 feet up. It moved on a straight course and headed towards her location.
As it moved she noted that it was surrounded by tiny sparkling lights. It appeared to be moving about 40 mph, much too slow for a meteorite. After about 5 minutes it moved over the roof of the house and was lost from sight.
On this particular occasion Lisa was upset. She had the feeling that the sighting occurred because of her frame of mind at the time, although there was nothing which proved this conclusively.
Cluster of Lights
Around midnight in May 2021 Lisa was staring out of the living room window looking up at the stars. It was a very clear night. She noticed a cluster of small white points of light all together in the same patch of sky. They appeared to be at quite high altitude, at least a couple of thousand feet up.
The lights slowly moved on a straight path to the East. As they moved there was no drift, they all remained the same distance from one another like they were under intelligent control. After about 5 minutes they vanished into the distance. As with other previous sightings she did not attempt to capture them on camera as she felt they would not have come out on the footage.
There are a number of possible explanations for what Lisa witnessed on this occasion. While a formation of glowing craft cannot be ruled out, there is also the possibility that they were a cluster of balloons or even a flock of birds reflecting lights from the ground. However the lack of drift between the objects may point away from these explanations.
Glowing Spheres
Lisa continued to star gaze from the windows of her house but did not have any UFO sightings for a number of months. However, on a night in July at 11pm she was standing in the living room looking out of the window when she noticed two white lights to the South. One was situated above the other. The lights were travelling at around 50 mph towards her location. They seemed to be about 800 feet up, and appeared to be quite small in size.
Dave was in the room too so she called him over to the window to also see them. However it took him a while to get up because he has bad knees. Just before he got to the window they faded to black. They were still visible as small spherical silhouettes against the sky.
They watched the unlit spheres continue to approach. As they got to an angle of about 45 degrees in the sky they suddenly both vanished without trace.
Despite the fact that the spheres did not perform any advanced manoeuvres, this is still an intriguing sighting. They were the wrong colour for sky lanterns, which are more orange in colour. However, it is unlikely they were white LED balloons or distant drones as these would have no reason to suddenly switch off their lights, especially not at the same moment. And if they were initially still visible without lights on, why would they then suddenly disappear, especially if they were moving towards the property rather than away? There are certainly some odd aspects to this incident.
A Cloaked Craft?
On a clear and warm night in August 2021 Lisa was sitting outside on a chair with her pet cat looking up at the stars. In the early hours of the morning she suddenly saw an unusual object in the sky. It appeared to be nearly invisible, apart from a shimmering effect which reminded her of the cloaking camouflage employed by the alien beings known as Predators in the well-known sci-fi movie franchise.
The exact shape of the object could not be made out but it was moving at quite a fast speed. It traversed the sky in a number of seconds. As it reached the end of the road it suddenly performed a right angle turn to the left. A moment later it was lost from sight into the darkness.
Lisa was fascinated by what she had just witnessed. In the morning she informed Dave about what had taken place.
The fact that it moved on a controlled course and performed a sharp turn means that it certainly appeared to be an object of some kind rather than just heat haze caused by the high temperature at the time of the sighting.
Triangle of Orbs
Later the same month Lisa was staring at the sky from her bedroom window about 3-4am. Suddenly a glowing white orb appeared, seemingly materializing out of nowhere. It moved to the left before halting. A second orb then appeared. It moved the opposite direction before once again halting. Lastly a third orb appeared. This one moved upward then halted, creating a triangular formation.
Lisa shouted out at Dave to come and look, waking him from his sleep. It took him a number of minutes to stir and crawl out of bed. As he walked across the room towards then window, all three orbs suddenly faded away! Lisa pointed out the positions in the sky where they had been situated.
Due to the way in which they had vanished, Lisa felt sure that the orbs were under intelligent control and presenting themselves for her eyes only.
I would agree that the movement of the objects on this occasion certainly suggested they were under control. It is fascinating that they all vanished at the same point just before Dave managed to reach the window.
The Angel
The following month at around 3am on the morning of 17th September Lisa was once again sitting in the back garden attempting to communicate telepathically to prompt craft to appear.
Suddenly an unusual glowing white object entered the left side of her view. It looked like the shape of an angel, with a central body and two outstretched wings. It was not animated at all and was glowing white. Lisa says the glow coming from it was unusual, like it was self-luminescent.
The object moved on a straight course across the sky at quite a fast pace. As it moved the air around it appeared displaced in some way. It seemed to be a few thousand feet up. After about 5 minutes it was lost from sight in the distance.
The following day Lisa found out that her father’s best friend was dying of cancer. She wondered if what she had seen was not a craft but some kind of visual omen.
Conclusions
While Lisa has had many experiences, there are not many which directly confirm she has experienced contact. At the time of having the dream of the Nordic being coming to the door she had been looking into the contact subject, so it is possible that this was nothing more than a dream, a possibility that she directly suggested.
That said, she has had an astonishing number of UFO sightings, some of which have had very interesting aspects. Also she appears to have experienced many precognitive dreams, which are commonly reported by experiencers. Whatever your thoughts are on this case, there is no denying that she has witnessed some very intriguing incidents.
