Hi there.
Around the time of 10.50pm, my mum spotted some reddish-orange lights in the sky due East of Balsall Common; they were over Coventry.
My dad grabbed his binoculars, and was watching them, giving a pleasant running commentary of where they were, what they looks looked like, and when they started disappearing. Some of them rose in the sky, and other sank. Gradually they started to disappear until they had all gone.
I tried to photograph them, but my camera doesn't have a strong enough lens or zoom to have got a decent shot, the one light that I managed to get just looks like an orb in the middle of blackness. I could send you it if you want, though I am not sure it will be of any use to you.
Any ideas on what they were!? We're really quite curious now.
