This is an interesting case as this happened to me quite unexpectedly with multiple people present at the time. It was the 18th June and it was the monthly BUFOG Truth-seekers meeting at the Hotshots Snooker Club in Oldbury. The guest speaker was Julez Finch who gave a fantastic presentation on remote viewing.

I initially went across to Julez prior to the presentation, and I had said that I had been trying to practise remote viewing and astral projection as they are both areas I am interested in. Andrew Hodrien was standing next to me at the time. I asked Julez how he made sense of random images and how did he know he was getting something genuine rather than random. He said the most important thing to do is to write it down. It only counts if you have empirical evidence. An oral account will not suffice.

I saw down with colleagues and listened to the first part of the presentation. It was very interesting, but we were only 10 minutes in and I got a flash of an image. It was an oval shape but all I knew what that it was important. About a minute later I got a really strong feeling of butterflies, and I saw an image of a lighthouse with a star next to it. I also saw a wooded area and a treasure chest.

As the presentation went on, the feeling of butterflies increased, so that it also became a compulsion, and I knew I had to write down the images. At half time I borrowed some paper and wrote down the images.

Then with great trepidation, I approached Julez as I felt foolish and I showed him that I had had these images come to mind. They may be something, but they are probably nothing. I gave him the piece of paper and I said, could you hold on to the paper, so that if it proves to be something, there can be no trickery on my part.

I went back to the audience and the second half began. Julez proceeds to talk about his own personal remote viewing experience and how we was tuning in to the Space X rocket, but initially he though it was a lighthouse, and he drew a star next to it. I had an absolute feeling of shock, because it was as I had drawn it.

I had dawn a treasure chest, which was supposed to represent money and Julez talked about he had turned down a job from a crypto group. I also drew the oval shape. I had written the shape was important, but I had put the number 67 in it. The oval shape corresponds with an experience Julez had when he said he saw an eye or oval shape that blasted him in light.

Were as a couple of the images could be described as interpretations; the lighthouse and star were an absolute match. I wasn’t actively trying to connect, and it was the butterflies/ compulsion to write it down I found interesting.

In an instance like this, the immediate thought has to be was there any form of autosuggestion. The performer Derren Brown has shown multiple times how inserting visual clues can lead a person to draw a particular image. If you look up the Heavens Gate image, you will see a great example as to how he manipulated two advertising executives to create an image that he predicted.

However, in this case, that can be absolutely ruled out. There were no visual indicators, no mentions of rockets, or beach locations or indeed of lighthouses, let along a star next to it which is very specific.

For me personally I had physical proof of what happened. Multiple people saw me write it down and give it to Julez. Julez on his part said it was a beautiful example of precognitive tuning. So the question is, did the image come from me or was it a potential subconscious connection and transference of information?

The key thing for me it to see whether it is repeatable in a controlled environment. There have been a couple of anecdotal instances where something similar has happened, but this is the first time where I have empirical evidence of something happening.
