About the event

Price: £5.00 members, £5.50 non-members

For our August meeting we've got a lecture with a difference lined up.

Richard Freeman is the director of the Centre For Fortean Zoology. For  many years he has hunted cryptids, unknown animals, across the four  corners of the earth, but has never feared them. He has been stalked by  tigers, attacked by cobras, caught in a tornado and fallen off a cliff  but he's never felt threatened by the creatures he was pursuing.

However there are rare cases were humans have allegedly been killed and  sometimes eaten. Giant snakes, aquatic dragons, mystery maulers, monster  squid and relic hominins have all seemingly had humans on the menu.  Richard will speak at BUFOG for the first time and take us through some  of these fascinating and somewhat un-nerving cases! There will also be  one of our infamous raffles and Chairman Dave will give the usual update  from the world of Ufology.

Don't miss this monster of an evening!

Note: BUFOG is a non-profit making organization. All entrance fees go  towards paying for the venue and the events that we hold. If you are  planning to stop over and would like details of nearby hotels, or have  any other questions, please contact Dave on davehodrien@bufog.com or  07990576577.
