About the event
After two extremely popular and successful camping trips over the last couple of years, we figured we'd continue the tradition with another weekend camping excursion for members/attendees of Birmingham UFO Group and U.P.R.I.S.I.N.G. UFO & Paranormal (newbies most welcome too). This time we'll be taking things down a mystical and spooky route, with a visit to the area of Pendle Hill in Lancashire, location of the infamous 17th century witch trials!
We will be staying at a rural campsite in the vicinity of the hill, and have a wealth of activities planned for the two days including a sky watch at the summit of the hill, a woodland sculpture trail walk, group photo and talk next to a statue of one of the witches, a visit to the Pendle Heritage Centre & Memorial Park, pub meals and a fire pit gathering at the site.
