Andrew Johnson - Comets, Calamities and Planet X

Andrew Johnson is a dedicated researcher into many topics who has spoken at BUFOG numerous times before. In this presentation he will look at the comets, data about the alleged “Planet X” and review a few of the predictions about “The End of The World”. To help everyone understand comets and Planet X, he will show a scale of the solar system and discuss amateur astronomer observations.

To understand what comets are he will share some data from Comet Wild 2, Comet Halley, Comet Tempel 1 and data from missions to Comets by the “Stardust” and “Deep Impact” Probes. He will look at the story of Comet Hale Bopp and the troubling way it was linked to an end-of-the-world prediction.

He will discuss some past impact events on earth such as The Tunguska Event of 1908, the decimation of England in 562AD by a cometary or asteroid impact (which may have created the so called “Dark Ages”). He will try to sort out the truth from the hype and fear-mongering and come to some kind of sensible conclusion.

BUFOG's Chairman Dave and investigators James and Ian will be on board to cover the latest UFO news and case investigations, and there will be a raffle with some appropriately themed prizes to be won. If the world doesn't end beforehand we'll see you there!
