Ian Bentley Lecture

My name is Ian Bentley, I’m 43, live in Southampton and I am Chairman and Founder of Hampshire UFO Group (HUFOG).

I’ve had a lifelong interest in UFOs, growing up in the Midlands and attending BUFOG before relocating to Hampshire and starting HUFOG in 2009 with my wife Zoe. Zoe’s now a full time mum so I continue to run the group without her. We have regular meetings and skywatches and also a community Facebook group page. We receive regular UFO reports from around Hampshire which we investigate and report on our website. We are a growing group and always welcome new members and are building a good community of like minded individuals including experiencers and open minded people looking for the truth.

In my talk I will tell you a bit about myself and Zoe, and some experiences we’ve had that led us into the subject. Then I’ll talk about HUFOG, how it got started and the various UFO sightings that have been reported to the group including some witnessed and reported by HUFOG members. This will include witness drawings, night vision video footage and responses from MOD FOI requests. I’ll also talk about the mass sighting at Cradle Hill, Warminster in 2009, where I was among the witnesses, as was BUFOG chairman Dave Hodrien. I’ll also talk about and show footage of the multiple witness sighting of three strange lights in 2016 seen by five separate people across the South of the UK, in addition to myself and fellow HUFOG members. I’ll also mention CE5 and crop circles as these are also areas where we’ve seen a thing or two.

As you can see, this promises to be a fascinating evening, and it's great to welcome a prior attendee of our meetings to come and speak! Chairman Dave will also give an update on the world of UFOs and there will be the usual raffle with some books and DVDs to be won.
